[0009] PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION
[0010] The connection terminal 200 in Patent Literature 2 is attached to a protrusion 169 formed on the end cover 160 and protruding to the radially inner side, and is in a コ shape when viewed in the side view, and when the end cover 160 is combined with the housing 131, the contact piece 233 is pressed into the inside of the housing 131. At this time, since a force in the direction opposite to the pressing direction acts on the contact piece 233, the top plate portion 220 of the connection terminal 200 can be lifted from the protrusion 169.
[0011] The present application was completed in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a rotary device capable of stably contacting a member for GND attached to an end cover with a housing.

[0026] 1. Structural reference for centrifugal blowers Figures 1-10 The centrifugal blower 100, which is a rotating device according to one embodiment of the present invention, will be described. Figure 3 As shown, the centrifugal blower 100 includes: an impeller 120 having an inner space on the side of the shaft center and a plurality of blades 121 arranged in an annular portion around the inner space, the impeller 120 exhausting air from the inner space in a centrifugal direction through the plurality of blades 121 by rotation; a vortex-shaped housing 110 housing the impeller 120 in a rotatable state inside; and an intake 114, which is a circular opening provided at a position facing the inner space of the impeller 120, guiding air into the inner space of the impeller 120.
[0027] The housing 110 is composed of a resin-molded upper housing 111 and a resin-molded lower housing 112. For example... Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown in (B), a plurality of claw portions 112a are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction at the upper edge of the outer periphery of the lower housing 112, protruding upward in the axial direction and with their upper ends protruding outward in the radial direction. On the other hand, a plurality of engaging portions 111a with a rectangular frame shape are formed on the outer periphery of the upper housing 111. By inserting the claw portions 112a into and engaging with the engaging portions 111a, the upper housing 111 and the lower housing 112 are joined together.
[0028] A vortex-shaped flow path 113 is formed on the inner side of the housing 110 (see reference). Figure 3 The flow path 113 has the following structure: taking the portion with the smallest gap between the impeller 120 and the housing 110 as the starting end, as the flow path extends from this starting end towards... Figure 1 The flow path 113 advances clockwise in a circumferential direction, with its cross-sectional area gradually increasing. An outlet 115 is formed at the end of the flow path 113. That is, the vortex-shaped flow path 113 has a structure in which the cross-sectional area gradually increases as it moves toward the outlet 115.
[0029] The upper housing 111 has an axially opening suction port 114. Here, the shaft is the shaft 151 of the impeller 120, and the axial direction is its extending direction. The lower housing 112 has mounting feet 116 for fixing to other devices or frames, and is equipped with a motor 130 for rotating the impeller 120 (see reference). Figure 3 It should be noted that, in Figure 1 In the text, marking 116a indicates a metal collar.
[0030] like Figure 3 As shown, the impeller 120 is fixed to the shaft 151 of the motor 130. When the motor 130 rotates, the impeller 120 rotates. When the impeller 120 rotates, air is drawn in through the intake port 114 and guided towards the inner side of the impeller 120 (the internal space on the side of the shaft center). This air is then blown out from the inner side of the impeller 120 in a centrifugal direction by the action of the blades 121. The air blown out from the impeller 120 is directed towards... Figure 1 The discharge outlet 115 flows through the vortex-shaped flow path 113 and is discharged from the discharge outlet 115.
[0031] It should be noted that in the following description, the direction orthogonal to the axis is referred to as "radial," and the direction of rotation around axis 151 is referred to as "circumferential." Furthermore, terms indicating direction such as "up" and "down" are used to indicate directions in the referenced figures.
[0032] The impeller 120 has: a cup-shaped hub 122 forming the top surface; a plurality of blades 121 arranged in an axially upright position on the outer arcuate portion of the hub 122; and an annular connecting ring 123 connecting the ends of the plurality of blades 121 opposite to the hub 122. The blades 121 all have the same shape and a forward-facing blade shape recessed in the rotation direction of the impeller 120, and are uniformly arranged circumferentially. An inner space is provided inside the plurality of blades 121 (on the axial center side), and when the impeller 120 rotates, air is blown out from this inner space via the blades 121 in a centrifugal direction.
[0033] like Figure 4 As shown, the hub 122 has an upwardly projecting boss 124 at its center, with a through hole 124a formed in the boss 124. A cylindrical metal (e.g., brass) bushing 125 is fixed to the inner circumference of the through hole 124a by insert molding. The shaft 151 of the motor 130 is pressed into the bushing 125, thereby connecting the impeller 120 to the shaft 151. The shaft 151 is the rotating shaft of the motor 130 and, through its connection with the impeller 120, also serves as the rotating shaft of the impeller 120. The hub 122, the plurality of blades 121, and the connecting ring 123 are integrally formed of resin.
[0034] 2. Motor Structure Motor 130 is an internal rotor type three-phase brushless motor, possessing a cup-shaped outer casing (cylindrical portion) 131 made of conductive metal material. A stator 140 is fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the outer casing 131 in contact with this inner circumferential surface. For example... Figure 4As shown, the stator 140 includes: a stator core 141, formed by stacking a predetermined number of cores made of electromagnetic steel plates; an insulator 142, attached to the stator core 141; three-phase coils 143, wound around the stator core 141 through the insulator 142; and a circuit board 144 disposed below the insulator 142. The stator core 141 has a plurality of teeth 141b extending radially inward from the annular core back 141a, and the coils 143 are wound around the teeth 141b through the insulator 142.
[0035] like Figure 5 As shown, a protrusion 142a is formed on the insulator 142, which contacts the end face of the back of the core 141a and protrudes axially. On the outer peripheral surface of the protrusion 142a, a plurality of grooves 142b are continuously provided in the vertical direction (axial direction), and the contact wires 143a of the coil 143 are disposed in the grooves 142b.
[0036] like Figure 4 As shown, a rotor 150 is disposed inside the stator core 141. The rotor 150 includes: a metal shaft 151; a cup-shaped rotor yoke 152 attached to the upper end of the shaft 151; and an annular rotor magnet 153 fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the rotor yoke 152. A boss 152a is formed in the center of the rotor yoke 152, which is made of magnetic metal material, for example by flanging. The shaft 151 is pressed into the boss 152a, thereby connecting the shaft 151 to the rotor yoke 152.
[0037] A boss 131a is formed in the center of the outer casing 131, and a metal (e.g., brass) bearing housing 132 is pressed into the boss 131a. A pair of ball bearings 133 are mounted in the bearing housing 132, and the shaft 151 is supported by the pair of ball bearings 133 to be rotatable. A compression coil spring 134 is sandwiched between the pair of ball bearings 133, and the compression coil spring 134 applies force to the outer ring of the ball bearings 133, thereby giving the ball bearings 133 preload.
[0038] like Figure 4 As shown, a plurality of flange portions 131b extending radially outward are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction around the opening of the outer casing 131. Each flange portion 131b has a long through hole 131c formed along the circumferential direction. As described later, this through hole 131c is used for the connection between the outer casing 131 and the lower casing 112.
[0039] like Figure 4As shown, a circuit board 144, which carries circuitry for driving and controlling the motor 130, is disposed on the lower side of the stator core 141 along its axial direction. The end 143c of the coil 143 wound around the stator core 141 is inserted into a through hole (not shown) that is connected to a wiring pattern formed on the mounting surface of the circuit board 144 and is connected by solder 145.
[0040] 3. The end cap structure has an annular resin end cap 160 attached to the axial lower side of the housing 131. Figure 6 This is a top view showing end cap 160. Figure 7 This is a perspective view. The end cap 160 includes: an outer annular portion 161, forming an outer peripheral wall portion; and an inner annular portion 162, disposed radially inward relative to the outer annular portion 161. A pocket portion 163 protruding inward in the radial direction is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer annular portion 161.
[0041] The pocket 163 is a cylindrical member with two open ends that is roughly triangular in shape when viewed from above. A notch (not shown) is formed on the outer periphery of the circuit board 144 to match the position of the pocket 163. The common joint of each phase coil 143 protrudes axially from the notch of the circuit board 144 and is inserted into the pocket 163.
[0042] On the outer peripheral surface of the annular portion 161 on the outer side of the end cap 160, a plurality of flange portions 164 (four in this example) protruding radially outward are formed at equal intervals in the circumferential direction, and a long through hole 164a is formed in the flange portion 164 along the circumferential direction.
[0043] A connector housing 166 is integrally formed on the end cap 160. A metal connector pin 167 is integrally formed on the connector housing 166 by insert molding. One end of the connector pin 167 protrudes toward the circuit board 144, and the other end of the connector pin 167 protrudes into the internal space of the connector housing 166 and connects to a socket inserted into the connector housing 166.
[0044] On the inner annular portion 162 of the end cap 160, a plurality of (two in this example) protrusions 168, which are generally triangular in shape and protrude radially inward, are formed. A fixing pin 168a protruding upward is formed on each protrusion 168. On the other hand, a through hole (not shown) is formed in the circuit board 144 for inserting the fixing pin 168a. The circuit board 144 is fixed to the end cap 160 by thermal riveting the fixing pin 168a.
[0045] On the inner annular portion 162 of the end cap 160, at the position of the flange portion 164, a plurality of (two in this example) inner peripheral flange portions 169 protruding radially inward are formed. Terminals 200 are mounted on the inner peripheral flange portions 169. The terminals 200 are made of a flexible material, such as...Figure 9 As shown, it is crank-shaped when viewed from the side and has a rectangular support plate (support portion) 210 forming the central part of the crank. The material used is elastic and has excellent electrical conductivity; for example, in metals, phosphor bronze and stainless steel for springs are used, and it can also be a conductive resin.
[0046] An opening 211 is formed in the center of the support plate portion 210. A first side plate portion 220 extends from one edge of the support plate portion 210 and is orthogonal to the support plate portion 210. The portion of the first side plate portion 220 near the support plate portion 210 is triangular in a pointed manner, and a through hole 144a (see reference) is formed in the forward portion to pass through the circuit board 144. Figure 5 ) horn-shaped pin 222.
[0047] A second side plate portion (other end) 230 extends from the other edge of the support plate portion 210 of the terminal 200 in a direction opposite to the first side plate portion 220 and is orthogonal to the support plate portion 210. The second side plate portion 230 has an opening 231 in the portion near the support plate portion 210. A notch 232 in a general "コ" shape is formed in the portion in front of the opening 231, and a contact piece (other end) 233 bent toward the outside of the terminal 200 is formed on the inner side of the notch 232. Specifically, at the part where the two ends of the notch 232 are connected, the inner part is bent radially outward, and the protruding contact piece 233 contacts the housing 131.
[0048] On the other hand, such as Figure 8 As shown, a through hole 160a extending axially is formed between the outer annular portion 161 and the inner annular portion 162 of the inner peripheral flange portion 169. Furthermore, a protrusion 169a protruding axially upward is formed approximately at the center of the inner peripheral flange portion 169. A locking portion 169b protruding radially outward is formed on the radially outer side of the inner annular portion 162 extending axially downward from the inner peripheral flange portion 169, and an inclined surface 169c is formed adjacent to the locking portion 169b. The terminal 200 is fixed to the end cap 160 by inserting its second side plate portion 230 through the through hole 160a, causing the protrusion 169a to engage with the opening 211 formed in the support plate portion 210, and by engaging the opening 231 formed in the second side plate portion 230 with the locking portion 169b.
[0049] In this state, the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is disposed between the inner annular portion 162 of the end cover 160 and the inner peripheral surface of the housing 131, and the contact piece 233 is in elastic contact with the inner peripheral surface of the housing 131.
[0050] like Figure 8As shown in (C), a protrusion 169d is formed on the upper surface of the inner peripheral flange 169 at the position of the first side plate portion 220, protruding toward the support plate portion 210. Through this protrusion 169d, the right end of the support plate portion 210 of the terminal 200 is lifted upward, and the terminal 200 is subjected to force in the counterclockwise direction shown in the figure. As a result, the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is pressed against the inner annular portion 162 of the end cap 160.
[0051] like Figure 5 As shown, the pin 222 of terminal 200 passes through a through hole 144a formed on the circuit board 144 and is joined by solder 144b on the mounting side. The through hole 144a is connected to a GND pattern (solid pattern) formed on the circuit board 144. Here, GND represents the reference potential of the voltage in the circuit, and the GND circuit represents the circuit that brings this potential. In this embodiment, a structure called frame GNG (ground) is used to unify the reference potential of all circuits to the housing 131. Furthermore, an inner annular portion 162 of end cap 160 is disposed on the outer periphery of the contact wire 143a of coil 143, and the housing 131 is disposed on the outer periphery of the inner annular portion 162. That is, the housing 131 and the contact wire 143a are radially opposed to each other through the inner annular portion 162. In this way, the inner annular portion 162 can prevent the contact wire 143a from contacting the housing 131 and short-circuiting.
[0052] Here, refer to Figure 5 The assembly structure of end cap 160 will be described. For example... Figure 5 As shown, a boss 112b protruding downwards is formed near the opening of the lower housing 112. The boss 112b protrudes downwards through a through hole 131c formed in the flange portion 131b of the outer housing 131 and a through hole 164a formed in the flange portion 164 of the end cap 160. Its lower end is thermally riveted to form a head 112c for pressing the flange portion 164. With this structure, the end cap 160 is joined to the lower housing 112.
[0053] A resin cover 170 is fitted onto the end cap 160 to prevent dust, foreign objects, etc., from entering the motor 130. The cover 170 is a generally circular cup shape, with its periphery 171 extending axially. Furthermore, as... Figure 2 As shown, a plurality of flange portions 172 (three in this example) protruding radially outward are formed on the peripheral portion 171 of the cover 170, and screws 173 are inserted through the flange portions 172. Furthermore, by pressing the peripheral portion 171 of the cover 170 axially along the outer periphery of the outer annular portion 161 of the end cover 160, and screwing the screws 173 into the lower housing 112, the cover 170 is detachably assembled to the end cover 160.
[0054] 4. Assembly method of centrifugal blower i) Connection of terminals to end cover
[0055] exist Figure 8 In (B), when the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is inserted into the through hole 160a formed between the outer annular portion 161 and the inner annular portion 162, the second side plate portion 230 rests on the inclined surface 169c of the end cover 160. Then, while the engaging portion 169b is inserted into the opening 231 of the second side plate portion 230, the protrusion 169a of the inner peripheral flange portion 169 is inserted into the opening 211 of the support plate portion 210, thereby fixing the terminal 200 to the end cover 160.
[0056] ii) Assembly of circuit board and end cap
[0057] Make the circuit board 144 from Figure 4 Approaching the end cap 160 on its lower side, the fixing pin 168a of the protrusion 168 is inserted into the through hole (not shown) of the circuit board 144, and riveted to secure it on the mounting reverse side. Thus, the end cap 160 is joined to the circuit board 144. Simultaneously with this insertion operation, the angular ends of multiple connector pins 167 are inserted from the mounting surface side of the circuit board 144 into the through hole (not shown). Then, solder is used to connect the front ends of each connector pin 167 protruding from the mounting reverse side of the circuit board 144.
[0058] During the above insertion operation, such as Figure 5 As shown, the angular pin 222 of the terminal 200 is inserted into the through hole 144a formed on the circuit board 144 and connected to the GND pattern. Solder 144b is used to connect the pin 222 of the terminal 200, which protrudes from the mounting side of the circuit board 144.
[0059] iii) Assembly of the motor and end cover
[0060] The ends 143c of the coils 143 wound on the stator 140 of the motor 130 are bundled and twisted together to form a common wire joint. The ends 143c of the coils 143 constituting the common wire joint are welded together and cut to a predetermined length. The welded common wire joint is bent to be parallel to the axial direction to make it upright. In addition, the ends 143c of each phase coil 143 are also bent to be parallel to the axial direction to make it upright.
[0061] The ends 143c of each coil 143 are inserted from the mounting reverse side of the circuit board 144 into the designated through holes, and the common wire connection portion protrudes from the notch formed on the outer periphery of the circuit board 144 toward the mounting surface to be accommodated in the pocket 163 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the end cap 160. This operation is performed by bringing the end cap 160, to which the circuit board 144 is attached, and the housing 131 of the motor 130 close together. Then, solder 145 is used to connect the front ends 143c of each coil 143 protruding toward the mounting surface.
[0062] Through the above operations, the contact piece 233 of terminal 200 comes into contact with the inner circumferential surface of housing 131. For example... Figure 5 As shown, the contact piece 233 of terminal 200 protrudes radially outward in an unloaded state, and by pressing the contact piece 233 into the gap between the outer annular portion 161 of end cap 160 and housing 131, the contact piece 233 is pressed radially inward by housing 131, elastically abutting against the inner circumferential surface of housing 131. Thus, the GND pattern of circuit board 144 is set to a reference potential (e.g., 0 volts).
[0063] iv) Assembly of the motor and the lower housing
[0064] exist Figure 3 In this configuration, the motor 130, which incorporates the end cap 160 and the circuit board 144, is inserted from below into the opening on the lower side of the lower housing 112. At this time, as... Figure 5 As shown, the boss portion 112b formed around the opening of the lower housing 112 is inserted into the through hole 131c formed in the flange portion 131b of the outer housing 131 and the through hole 164a formed in the flange portion 164 of the end cap 160.
[0065] Then, the front end of the boss portion 112b protruding from the through hole 164a of the flange portion 164 of the end cap 160 is heated and flattened to plastically deform it into a head 112c. Through the forming of the head 112c, the end cap 160 is attached to the lower housing 112.
[0066] v) Impeller to motor connection
[0067] Insert the impeller 120 into the opening on the upper side of the lower housing 112, and press the upper end of the shaft 151 into the bushing 125 of the impeller 120. Next, attach the upper housing 111 to the lower housing 112.
[0068] In the centrifugal blower 100 with the above structure, the pin portion 222 of the terminal 200 extends toward the circuit board 144 and is connected to the GND pattern. The second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is supported by the end cap 160. The contact piece 233 is inserted between the inner peripheral surface of the housing 131 and the end cap 160 and contacts the inner peripheral surface of the housing 131. Therefore, during insertion, it is received by the inner annular portion 162 in the direction of the reaction force acting on the terminal 200. Thus, the undesirable situation of the support plate portion 210 of the terminal 200 leaving the inner peripheral flange portion 169 can be avoided.
[0069] In particular, in the above embodiment, a protrusion 169d is formed at the end of the terminal 200 on the side of the first side plate portion 220 of the inner peripheral flange portion 169, which protrudes toward the support plate portion 210 of the terminal 200. Therefore, the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is pressed against the outer annular portion 161 of the end cover 160, and the terminal 200 can be firmly supported on the inner peripheral flange portion 169 and the inner annular portion 162.
[0070] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the inner peripheral flange portion 169 has a protrusion 169a that protrudes toward the support plate portion 210, and the support plate portion 210 of the terminal 200 has an opening 231 for the protrusion 169a to fit into, thus preventing radial positional displacement of the terminal 200.
[0071] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, an engaging portion 169b protruding radially outward is formed in the inner annular portion 162 that is continuous with the inner peripheral flange portion 169, and an opening 231 that engages with the engaging portion 169b is formed in the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200. Therefore, when the contact piece 233 of the terminal 200 is inserted between the inner peripheral surface of the housing 131 and the end cap 160, the reaction force acting on the terminal 200 can be reliably received by the engaging portion 169b.
[0072] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, a through hole 160a is formed between the inner peripheral flange portion 169 and the outer annular portion 161, and the second side plate portion 230 of the terminal 200 is inserted into the through hole 160a, thereby suppressing the reduction in strength of the end cap 160.
[0073] 5. Modifications This invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made as follows.
[0074] i) In the above embodiment, a protrusion 169d is formed in the inner peripheral flange portion 169, but if Figure 10As shown, the angle θ between the support plate portion 210 and the second side plate portion 230 can also be set to be smaller than the angle between the inner peripheral flange portion 169 and the inner annular portion 162. Such a structure can also be used in conjunction with the protrusion 169d. In such a structure, since the support plate portion 210 and the second side plate portion 230 use elasticity to press the inner peripheral flange portion 169 and the inner annular portion 162, the terminal 200 can also be securely assembled to the inner peripheral flange portion 169 and the inner annular portion 162.
[0075] ii) Terminal 200 may not be crank-shaped as described in the above embodiment, but rather flat.
[0076] iii) Terminal 200 can be integrally formed with end cap 160. For example, terminal 200 can be injection molded as an insert, with contact piece 233 and pin 222 protruding from end cap 160.
[0077] iv) The present invention is not limited to centrifugal fans as described in the above embodiments, but can be applied to all rotating equipment with motors, such as axial fans, Sirocco fans, air conditioning units, and electric vacuum cleaners.
[0078] An airflow path 113 is also disposed between the impeller 120 and the housing 131. Furthermore, since the stator 140 is fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the housing 131 in contact, heat generated by the stator 140 and coil 143, or heat generated by the circuit board 144 and transferred to the stator 140, can be transferred to the housing 131. Because the housing 131 forms an airflow path 113 between itself and the impeller 120, the heat dissipation of the motor 130 can be improved by transferring the aforementioned heat to the air flowing through the path.
[0079] Furthermore, the present invention can also be applied to blowers used to supply air to fuel cell systems. In this case, even if the fuel cell system vibrates (e.g., a vehicle-mounted fuel cell system vibrates due to vehicle movement), the GND terminal can maintain stable contact with the motor housing, thus enabling stable operation of the rotating equipment.
