Abstract

According to an aspect, a method for inspecting a pipe installed behind a surface is provided. The method comprises: inserting a probe into the pipe, the probe comprising a camera configured to provide image data representative of a field of view of the camera inside the pipe, the probe further comprising a sealing element configured to slidingly seal against an inner surface of the pipe as the probe is propelled along the pipe; applying a pressure difference across the sealing element in the pipe, such that a high pressure side is provided on a first side of the sealing element and a low pressure side is provided on a second side of the sealing element; propelling the probe along the pipe towards the low pressure side while the sealing element slidingly seals against the inner surface of the pipe and while the camera captures image data; and transmitting the image data to a unit outside the pipe.
