Abstract

This invention belongs to the field of battery fire prevention technology, and provides a fire prevention device, a fire prevention method, and a battery module. The fire prevention device includes a housing, inside which a detection unit, a control unit, and a fire extinguishing unit are installed. The detection unit has several gas chambers, each containing an air intake pump and a detector. The air intake pump is connected to the control unit to collect gas data from the target device. The detector is connected to the control unit to analyze the gas data within the gas chambers and send the analysis results to the control unit. The control unit is connected to the fire extinguishing unit to control its operation based on the analysis results. This invention adopts an integrated design with a compact structure, integrating the detection unit, control unit, and fire extinguishing unit into the same housing. This minimizes space usage, optimizes piping and circuit layout, reduces connection losses between units, improves device stability and response speed, and reduces device size and installation difficulty, making it suitable for various energy storage scenarios.
