Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The following description relates to a lens module and a camera module including the lens module. Background Art
[0002] The camera module can be generally implemented in a portable electronic device such as, but not limited to, a smart phone. The camera module includes a lens, a lens barrel on which the lens is mounted, and a lens holder supporting the lens barrel. One method of combining the lens barrel with the lens holder is to combine the lens barrel with the lens holder by an adhesive.
[0003] When the lens barrel is combined with the lens holder by an adhesive, there is a problem that the adhesive overflows due to excessive injection of the adhesive, and during the curing process of the adhesive, the assembly position of the lens barrel may be changed, or the lens disposed inside the lens barrel may be deformed based on the application of heat to cure the adhesive. In addition, there is a problem that the lens barrel may be deformed due to a difference in deformation behavior in which the lens barrel expands and contracts by ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and heat generation of the adhesive according to the position of the lens barrel.

[0051] The lens module according to one or more embodiments may be provided in a camera module mounted on a portable electronic device.
[0052] In one or more embodiments, the portable electronic device may refer to a portable electronic device such as a mobile communication terminal, a smart phone, a tablet personal computer (PC), etc., as examples only.
[0053] One or more examples may provide a lens module which reduces temperature variation of a lens holder and deformation of a lens barrel during a coupling process between the lens barrel and the lens holder, and a camera module including the same.
[0054] Based on the lens module and the camera module including the same according to the embodiment, in the coupling process between the lens barrel and the lens holder, the temperature change of the lens holder and the deformation of the lens barrel may be reduced.
[0055] Figure 1 A perspective view showing an exemplary camera module according to one or more embodiments, and Figure 2 is a schematic exploded perspective view of an exemplary camera module according to one or more embodiments.
[0056] Reference Figure 1 and Figure 2 According to one or more embodiments, the camera module 1000 may include a lens module 200, a lens driving device that moves the lens module 200, an image sensor module 700 that converts light incident through the lens module 200 into an electrical signal, a housing 120 that accommodates the lens module 200 and the lens driving device therein, a cover 110 coupled to cover the outer surface of the housing 120, and a circuit board 720 coupled to a lower portion of the housing 120 and at which the image sensor 710 is mounted.
[0057] The lens module 200 may include a lens barrel 210 in which at least one lens is accommodated, and a lens holder 320 coupled to the lens barrel 210. The lens holder 320 may include a holder member 321 and a yoke member 322 disposed on the holder member 321.
[0058] The lens barrel 210 may have a hollow cylindrical shape so that a plurality of lenses that capture an image of a subject may be accommodated therein. The plurality of lenses may be installed in the lens barrel 210 along an optical axis (z axis in the drawing).
[0059] A plurality of lenses may be provided as many as possible according to the implementation of the lens barrel 210 , and the plurality of lenses may have the same or different optical characteristics (eg, refractive index, etc.).
[0060] The lens driving device may move the lens module 200. For example, the lens driving device may adjust the focus by moving the lens module 200 in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis), and the lens driving device may correct shaking during an image capturing operation by moving the lens module 200 in a direction (x-axis direction and / or y-axis direction) perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis).
[0061] The lens driving device may include a focus adjusting portion (or a focus adjusting member) 400 that adjusts a focus and a shake correcting portion (or a shake correcting member) 500 that corrects a shake.
[0062] The image sensor module 700 may convert light passing through the lens into an electrical signal. For example, the image sensor module 700 may include an image sensor 710 and a circuit board 720 connected to the image sensor 710, and may further include an infrared filter. For example, the circuit board 720 may be a printed circuit board and may be coupled to the lower portion of the housing 120. The infrared filter may block light in an infrared region among the light passing through the lens.
[0063] The image sensor 710 may convert light passing through the lens into an electrical signal. As an example, the image sensor 710 may be a charge coupled device (CCD) or a complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS). The electrical signal converted by the image sensor 710 may be output as an image through a display unit of a portable electronic device. The image sensor 710 may be fixed to the circuit board 720 and may be electrically connected to the circuit board 720 by wire bonding.
[0064] The lens module 200 and the lens driving device may be accommodated in the housing 120. For example, the housing 120 may have a shape with top and bottom opened, and the lens module 200 and the lens driving device may be accommodated in an inner space of the housing 120. The image sensor module 700 may be disposed under the housing 120.
[0065] In addition, a substrate (or plate) 600 that provides a driving signal to the focus adjustment part 400 and the shake correction part 500 may be provided at a side surface of the housing 120. In an example, the substrate 600 may be provided as one substrate surrounding the side surface of the housing 120. As will be described later, an opening may be provided at the side surface of the housing 120 so that an auto focus (AF) driving coil 430 and a first position detection part 470 of the focus adjustment part 400 and a first optical image stabilization (OIS) driving coil 510b, a second OIS driving coil 520b, and a second position detection part of the shake correction part 500 are inserted into the opening.
[0066] The cover 110 may be combined with the housing 120 and may be used to protect the internal components of the camera module 1000. In addition, the cover 110 may be operable to shield electromagnetic waves. In an example, the cover 110 may shield electromagnetic waves so that electromagnetic waves generated in the camera module 1000 do not affect another electronic component within the portable electronic device. In addition, since various electronic components other than the camera module 1000 may be installed in the portable electronic device, the cover 110 may shield electromagnetic waves so that electromagnetic waves generated in the electronic components do not affect the camera module 1000. The cover 110 may be made of a metal material to be grounded to a ground pad provided at the circuit board 720, thereby shielding electromagnetic waves.
[0067] In the following, reference Figure 2 , the focus adjusting part 400 of the lens driving apparatus of the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments will be described.
[0068] In order to focus on the object, the lens module 200 may be moved by a lens driving device. In an example, the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments may include a focus adjustment part 400 that moves the lens module 200 in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis). The focus adjustment part 400 may include a carrier 300 that accommodates the lens module 200, and an AF driving part that is disposed outside the carrier 300 and generates a driving force to move the lens module 200 and the carrier 300 in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis). The AF driving part may include an AF driving magnet 410 and an AF driving coil 430.
[0069] The AF driving magnet 410 may be installed at the carrier 300. In an example, the AF driving magnet 410 may be installed at one surface of the carrier 300.
[0070] The AF driving coil 430 may be disposed to face the AF driving magnet 410. The AF driving coil 430 may be a copper foil pattern stacked and embedded in the substrate 600. The substrate 600 may be mounted at a side surface of the housing 120 such that the AF driving magnet 410 and the AF driving coil 430 face each other in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis).
[0071] The AF driving magnet 410 may be a moving member installed at the carrier 300 to move in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis) together with the carrier 300, and the AF driving coil 430 may be a fixed member fixed to the housing 120. When power is applied to the AF driving coil 430, the carrier 300 may move in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis) based on electromagnetic influence or interaction between the AF driving magnet 410 and the AF driving coil 430.
[0072] like Figure 2As shown in FIG, the frame 310, the support member 321 and the yoke member 322 can be accommodated in the carrier 300. In addition, since the lens barrel 210 is installed at the lens support 320, the frame 310, the lens support 320 and the lens barrel 210 can move in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) based on the movement of the carrier 300.
[0073] The first rolling member B1 may be provided between the bearing portion 300 and the housing 120 to reduce friction between the bearing portion 300 and the housing 120 when the bearing portion 300 moves. The first rolling member B1 may have a spherical shape. For example, the first rolling member B1 may be provided at both sides of the AF driving magnet 410 and may have a shape in which a plurality of balls are connected.
[0074] The first yoke 450 may be arranged to face the AF drive magnet 410 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis). For example, the first yoke 450 may be mounted at the outer surface of the substrate 600 (the surface opposite to the surface in which the AF drive coil 430 is embedded). Therefore, the first yoke 450 may be arranged to face the AF drive magnet 410, and the AF drive coil 430 is interposed between the first yoke 450 and the AF drive magnet 410. An attractive force may act between the first yoke 450 and the AF drive magnet 410 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis). Therefore, the first rolling member B1 may maintain a contact state with the bearing portion 300 and the housing 120 based on the attractive force between the first yoke 450 and the AF drive magnet 410.
[0075] In addition, the first yoke 450 may operate to focus the magnetic force of the AF driving magnet 410. Therefore, the occurrence of leakage magnetic flux may be prevented. In an example, the first yoke 450 and the AF driving magnet 410 may form a magnetic circuit.
[0076] The second yoke 420 may be disposed between the AF driving magnet 410 and the carrier 300. The second yoke 420 may operate to focus the magnetic force of the AF driving magnet 410. Therefore, the occurrence of leakage magnetic flux may be prevented. In an example, the second yoke 420 and the AF driving magnet 410 may form a magnetic circuit.
[0077] In an example, the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments may use a closed-loop control method that detects and feeds back the position of the lens module 200. Therefore, a first position detection portion 470 may be provided for closed-loop control. The first position detection portion 470 may include a plurality of coils 470a and 470b and a control portion electrically connected to the plurality of coils 470a and 470b. The first position detection portion 470 may include a plurality of coils arranged along the direction of the optical axis (z-axis). In an example, the first position detection portion 470 may include two coils 470a and 470b arranged along the direction of the optical axis (z-axis). Similar to the AF drive coil 430, the plurality of coils 470a and 470b may be copper foil patterns stacked and embedded in the substrate 600. In Figure 2 In the embodiment, two coils 470a and 470b are shown, but one or more examples are not limited thereto.
[0078] The plurality of coils 470a and 470b of the first position detection portion 470 may be arranged to face the sensing yoke 460 arranged adjacent to the AF driving magnet 410. The sensing yoke 460 may be mounted on one surface of the carrier 300, and the sensing yoke 460 may be a conductive material or a magnetic material. The plurality of coils 470a and 470b may be arranged to face the sensing yoke 460 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis). In addition, the plurality of coils 470a and 470b may be arranged at a position adjacent to the AF driving coil 430.
[0079] When the bearing part 300 moves in the direction of the optical axis (z axis), the sensing yoke 460 installed at the bearing part 300 can also move in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). Therefore, the inductance of the plurality of coils 470a and 470b can change. The control part can receive the inductance value from the plurality of coils 470a and 470b to detect the position of the lens barrel 210 (the position in the direction of the optical axis (z axis)). Therefore, the control part can detect the position of the sensing yoke 460 according to the change of the inductance of the plurality of coils 470a and 470b. The sensing yoke 460 can be installed at the bearing part 300, and the lens barrel 210 can be accommodated in the bearing part 300. Since the bearing part 300 moves in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) together with the lens barrel 210, finally, the first position detection part 470 can detect (or sense) the position of the lens barrel 210 (the position in the direction of the optical axis (z axis)) according to the change of the inductance of the plurality of coils 470a and 470b.
[0080] When the sensing yoke 460 moves in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis), the position of the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the optical axis (z-axis) can be more accurately detected using the signal difference generated by the two coils 470a and 470b of the first position detection part 470. The inductance values of the two coils 470a and 470b can be changed not only by the relative position difference with the sensing yoke 460, but also by the temperature change in the surrounding environment, etc.
[0081] However, in one or more examples, the exact position of the lens barrel 210 can be detected by removing factors caused by temperature changes in the surrounding environment, etc. In the example, when the sensing yoke 460 moves, the inductance of the two coils 470a and 470b can have different increasing directions and decreasing directions. That is, when the inductance of one coil 470a increases, the inductance of the other coil 470b can decrease. Therefore, when the inductance values of the multiple coils 470a and 470b are subtracted from each other, the factors caused by temperature changes in the surrounding environment can be removed, and therefore the position of the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) can be accurately detected.
[0082] On the other hand, it has been described in one or more examples that the plurality of coils 470a and 470b of the first position detection portion 470 face the sensing yoke 460, but the plurality of coils 470a and 470b may be provided to face the AF drive magnet 410 without separately providing the sensing yoke 460. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, it is shown that the plurality of coils 470a and 470b of the first position detection portion 470 are two, and the AF drive coil 430 is one, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0083] Next, still refer to Figure 2 , the shake correction part 500 of the lens driving device of the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments will be described.
[0084] The shake correction section 500 may be used to correct image blur or moving image shake due to factors such as hand shake of a user when capturing an image or a moving image. For example, when a shake occurs due to hand shake of a user when capturing an image, the shake correction section 500 may compensate for the shake by providing a relative displacement corresponding to the shake to the lens barrel 210. As a specific example, the shake correction section 500 may correct the shake by moving the lens barrel 210 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis).
[0085] The shake correction part 500 may include a guide member that guides the movement of the lens barrel 210 and an OIS driving part that is disposed outside the lens holder 320 and generates a driving force to move the guide member in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis). The OIS driving part may include a plurality of optical image stabilization (OIS) driving magnets and a plurality of OIS driving coils.
[0086] The plurality of OIS driving magnets may include a first OIS driving magnet 510 a and a second OIS driving magnet 520 a , and the plurality of OIS driving coils may include a first OIS driving coil 510 b and a second OIS driving coil 520 b .
[0087] The guide member may include a frame 310 and a lens holder 320. The frame 310 and the lens holder 320 may be sequentially inserted into the carrier 300 along the direction of the optical axis (z axis), and may operate to guide the movement of the lens barrel 210.
[0088] The frame 310 and the lens holder 320 may have a space into which the lens barrel 210 may be inserted. The lens barrel 210 may be inserted and fixed to the lens holder 320. The frame 310 may be disposed on one surface of the lens holder 320.
[0089] In an example, the frame 310 of the guide member may be a shape in which both sides of the quadrilateral are removed when viewed in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). The first OIS drive magnet 510a and the second OIS drive magnet 520a may be respectively disposed on the two open sides of the frame 310. Therefore, the setting positions of the first OIS drive magnet 510a and the second OIS drive magnet 520a may not be affected by the frame 310, and therefore, the overall height of the camera module 1000 may not be increased. However, the shape of the frame 310 is not limited thereto, and various shapes such as a quadrilateral planar shape are also possible depending on the purpose.
[0090] Due to the driving force generated by the multiple OIS driving magnets and the multiple OIS driving coils, the frame 310 and the lens holder 320 can move relative to the bearing portion 300 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis). The first OIS driving magnet 510a and the first OIS driving coil 510b can generate a driving force in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis), and the second OIS driving magnet 520a and the second OIS driving coil 520b can generate a driving force in the direction of the second axis (y-axis) perpendicular to the first axis (x-axis). That is, multiple OIS driving magnets and multiple OIS driving coils can generate driving forces in directions facing each other. In one or more examples, the second axis (y-axis) may refer to an axis perpendicular to both the optical axis (z-axis) and the first axis (x-axis).
[0091] A plurality of OIS driving magnets may be disposed to be orthogonal to each other in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis), and a plurality of OIS driving coils may also be disposed to be orthogonal to each other in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis).
[0092] The first OIS driving magnet 510a and the second OIS driving magnet 520a may be mounted on the support member 321. For example, the first OIS driving magnet 510a and the second OIS driving magnet 520a may be respectively mounted at the side surfaces of the support member 321. The side surface of the support member 321 may include a first surface and a second surface perpendicular to each other, and the first OIS driving magnet 510a and the second OIS driving magnet 520a may be disposed at the first surface and the second surface of the support member 321.
[0093] The first OIS driving coil 510b and the second OIS driving coil 520b may be copper foil patterns stacked and embedded in the substrate 600. The substrate 600 may be mounted on a side surface of the housing 120 so that the first OIS driving magnet 510a and the first OIS driving coil 510b may face each other in the direction of a first axis (x-axis) perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis), and the second OIS driving magnet 520a and the second OIS driving coil 520b may face each other in the direction of a second axis (y-axis) perpendicular to the optical axis (z-axis) and the first axis (x-axis).
[0094] The first and second OIS driving magnets 510a and 520a may be moving members that move together with the lens holder 320 in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis (z axis), and the first and second OIS driving coils 510b and 520b may be fixed members fixed to the housing 120.
[0095] In one or more examples, a plurality of rolling members supporting the frame 310 and the lens holder 320 of the shake correction part 500 may be provided. The plurality of rolling members may operate to guide the movement of the frame 310, the lens holder 320, and the lens barrel 210 during the shake correction process. In addition, the plurality of rolling members may also operate to maintain the distance between the bearing portion 300, the frame 310, and the lens holder 320. The plurality of rolling members may include a second rolling member B2 and a third rolling member B3. The second rolling member B2 and the third rolling member B3 may have a spherical shape.
[0096] In the example, the second rolling member B2 can guide the movement of the frame 310, the lens holder 320 and the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the first axis (x-axis). In addition, the third rolling member B3 can guide the movement of the lens holder 320 and the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the second axis (y-axis). As a specific example, when a driving force is generated in the direction of the first axis (x-axis), the second rolling member B2 can roll in the direction of the first axis (x-axis). Therefore, the second rolling member B2 can guide the movement of the frame 310, the lens holder 320 and the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the first axis (x-axis).
[0097] As another specific example, when a driving force is generated in the direction of the second axis (y axis), the third rolling member B3 can roll in the direction of the second axis (y axis). Therefore, the third rolling member B3 can guide the movement of the lens holder 320 and the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the second axis (y axis).
[0098] The second rolling member B2 may include a plurality of rolling members disposed between the bearing portion 300 and the frame 310. The third rolling member B3 may include a plurality of rolling members disposed between the frame 310 and the lens holder 320.
[0099] The first guide groove portions 301 for accommodating the second rolling member B2 may be respectively provided at the surface of the bearing portion 300 where the bearing portion 300 and the frame 310 face each other in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). The first guide groove portion 301 may include a plurality of guide grooves corresponding to a plurality of rolling members of the second rolling member B2. The second rolling member B2 may be accommodated in the first guide groove portion 301 to be inserted between the bearing portion 300 and the frame 310.
[0100] In the example where the second rolling member B2 is accommodated in the first guide groove portion 301, the movement of the second rolling member B2 in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) and the movement of the second rolling member B2 in the direction of the second axis (y axis) can be limited, and the second rolling member B2 can only move in the direction of the first axis (x axis). In the example, the second rolling member B2 can only roll in the direction of the first axis (x axis). For this purpose, the planar shape of each guide groove of the first guide groove portion 301 can be a rectangle having a length in the direction of the first axis (x axis).
[0101] The second guide groove portion 311 accommodating the third rolling member B3 may be respectively provided at the surface of the frame 310 where the frame 310 and the lens holder 320 face each other in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). The second guide groove portion 311 may include a plurality of guide grooves corresponding to a plurality of rolling members of the third rolling member B3. The third rolling member B3 may be accommodated in the second guide groove portion 311 to be inserted between the frame 310 and the lens holder 320.
[0102] In the example where the third rolling member B3 is accommodated in the second guide groove portion 311, the movement of the third rolling member B3 in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) and the movement of the third rolling member B3 in the direction of the first axis (x axis) can be limited, and the third rolling member B3 can only move in the second axis (y axis) direction. In the example, the third rolling member B3 can only roll in the direction of the second axis (y axis). For this purpose, the planar shape of each guide groove of the second guide groove portion 311 can be a rectangle having a length in the direction of the second axis (y axis).
[0103] In addition, the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments may include a fourth rolling member B4 disposed between the bearing portion 300 and the lens holder 320 to support the movement of the lens holder 320. The fourth rolling member B4 may support the lens holder 320 that moves in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and the direction of the second axis (y-axis). In an example, when a driving force is generated in the direction of the first axis (x-axis), the fourth rolling member B4 may roll along the first axis (x-axis). In addition, when a driving force is generated in the direction of the second axis (y-axis), the fourth rolling member B4 may roll along the second axis (y-axis).
[0104] The third rolling member B3 and the fourth rolling member B4 can contact and support the lens holder 320. The receiving groove 302 for receiving the fourth rolling member B4 can be arranged on one or more surfaces of the bearing portion 300, wherein the bearing portion 300 and the lens holder 320 face each other in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). The fourth rolling member B4 can be received in the receiving groove 302 to be inserted between the bearing portion 300 and the lens holder 320. In the example in which the fourth rolling member B4 is received in the receiving groove 302, the movement of the fourth rolling member B4 in the direction of the optical axis (z axis) can be limited, and the fourth rolling member B4 can roll along the first axis (x axis) and the second axis (y axis). For this purpose, the plane shape of the receiving groove 302 can be formed into a circle. Therefore, the shapes of the receiving groove 302 and the first guide groove part 301 and the second guide groove part 311 can be different from each other.
[0105] On the other hand, the camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments may include a plurality of yokes 510c and 520c so that the shake correction portion 500 maintains a contact state with the second rolling member B2, the third rolling member B3, and the fourth rolling member B4. The plurality of yokes 510c and 520c may be fixed to the bearing portion 300, and may be arranged to face the first OIS drive magnet 510a and the second OIS drive magnet 520a in the direction of the optical axis (z axis). Therefore, an attractive force may be generated between the plurality of yokes 510c and 520c and the first OIS drive magnet 510a and the second OIS drive magnet 520a in the direction of the optical axis (z axis).
[0106] Based on the attraction between the plurality of yokes 510c and 520c and the first and second OIS driving magnets 510a and 520a, the shake correction portion 500 may be pressed in a direction toward the plurality of yokes 510c and 520c. Therefore, the frame 310 and the lens holder 320 of the shake correction portion 500 may maintain a contact state with the second rolling member B2, the third rolling member B3, and the fourth rolling member B4.
[0107] The plurality of yokes 510c and 520c may be a material that generates an attractive force between the plurality of yokes 510c and 520c and the first and second OIS driving magnets 510a and 520a. In an example, the plurality of yokes 510c and 520c may be provided as a magnetic material.
[0108] The camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments may include a stopper 330 that prevents the second rolling member B2, the third rolling member B3, the fourth rolling member B4, the frame 310, and the lens holder 320 from being separated to the outside of the carrier 300 based on external impact, etc. The stopper 330 may be coupled to the carrier 300 to cover at least a portion of an upper surface of the lens holder 320.
[0109] The camera module 1000 according to one or more embodiments can use a closed-loop control method for detecting and feeding back the position of the lens barrel 210 during the shake correction process, and therefore can include a second position detection part for closed-loop control. The second position detection part can be configured to detect the position of the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and the position in the direction of the second axis (y-axis). The second position detection part may include a plurality of coils and a control part electrically connected to the plurality of coils. The control part can receive inductance values from the plurality of coils to detect the position of the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and the position in the direction of the second axis (y-axis).
[0110] Similar to the first OIS driving coil 510b, the plurality of coils may also be copper foil patterns stacked and embedded in the substrate 600. The plurality of coils may be disposed at both sides of the first OIS driving coil 510b or the second OIS driving coil 520b. In an example, when the plurality of coils includes two coils, the two coils may be disposed at both sides of the first OIS driving coil 510b or the second OIS driving coil 520b.
[0111] Hereinafter, for the convenience of description, it is described that a plurality of coils are disposed at both sides of the first OIS driving coil 510b. However, this is merely an example, and one or more examples are not limited thereto, and a plurality of coils may be disposed at both sides of the second OIS driving coil 520b, or a plurality of coils may not be disposed at both sides of the second OIS driving coil 520b.
[0112] The first OIS driving magnet 510a may be disposed to face the first OIS driving coil 510b in the direction of the first axis (x axis). In addition, the first side of the first OIS driving magnet 510a may be disposed to face a portion of one of the plurality of coils of the second position detection portion, and the second side of the first OIS driving magnet 510a may be disposed to face a portion of another of the plurality of coils of the second position detection portion. In the example, the coil having a portion facing the first side of the first OIS driving magnet 510a may be the 1-1 sensing coil 511a, and the coil having a portion facing the second side of the first OIS driving magnet 510a may be the 1-2 sensing coil 511b.
[0113] When the first OIS driving magnet 510a moves in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and / or in the direction of the second axis (y-axis), the inductance of the multiple coils of the second position detection part can change. Therefore, the position of the first OIS driving magnet 510a can be detected according to the change of the inductance of the multiple coils. The first OIS driving magnet 510a can be installed at the lens holder 320, the lens barrel 210 can be installed at the lens holder 320, and the lens holder 320 can move together with the lens barrel 210 in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and / or in the direction of the second axis (y-axis). Therefore, the position of the lens barrel 210 (the position in the direction of the first axis (x-axis) and / or the position in the direction of the second axis (y-axis)) can be detected according to the change of the inductance of the multiple coils of the second position detection part.
[0114] The second rolling member B2 may be received in the first guide groove portion 301 to be disposed between the bearing portion 300 and the frame 310. The third rolling member B3 may be received in the second guide groove portion 311 to be disposed between the frame 310 and the lens holder 320. The fourth rolling member B4 may be received in the receiving groove 302 to be disposed between the bearing portion 300 and the lens holder 320.
[0115] Next, we will refer to Figures 3 to 5 The bracket member 321 and the yoke member 322 according to one or more embodiments are described in detail. Figure 3 is an exploded perspective view of a bracket member and a yoke member according to one or more embodiments, Figure 4 is a perspective view of a lens holder according to one or more embodiments, and Figure 5 is a plan view showing an example in which a lens barrel and a lens holder are coupled.
[0116] When using adhesive 3222 to couple lens barrel 210 and lens holder 320, adhesive 3222 can be first filled in adhesive portion (e.g., first groove 3221), and ultraviolet rays can be irradiated to adhesive portion. When ultraviolet rays are irradiated, lens barrel 210 and lens holder 320 can experience thermal expansion. In the example, since adhesive 3222 can be liquid and lens barrel 210 and lens holder 320 are not combined, lens barrel 210 and lens holder 320 can not affect each other.
[0117] After that, bonding may be performed between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 to a certain extent, and a curing reaction may occur in the adhesive 3222, so that the adhesive 3222 may heat and shrink. In a non-limiting example, the adhesive 3222 may be in a gel state, and the temperature of a portion of the lens barrel 210 and a portion of the lens holder 320 may increase. In addition, the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 may affect each other, and deformation may occur between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320.
[0118] After the bonding between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 is completely completed, the temperature of the portion of the lens barrel 210 and the portion of the lens holder 320 can be lowered to room temperature again. In an example, when the lens holder 320 heat shrinks, the lens holder 320 may push the lens barrel 210 and may cause deformation. In a non-limiting example, the adhesive 3222 may be solid.
[0119] Reference Figures 3 to 5, the lens module 200 according to one or more embodiments may include a lens barrel 210, a support member 321, and a yoke member 322 disposed on or on the support member 321. The yoke member 322 may have an annular shape, but one or more examples are not limited thereto. The yoke member 322 may be disposed on either the upper surface or the lower surface of the support member 321 according to the direction of the optical axis. As an example, the yoke member 322 may be disposed on the support member 321 along the inner edge of the support member 321.
[0120] The first groove 3221 may be provided at the inner circumferential surface of the yoke member 322. The adhesive 3222 may be filled in the first groove 3221. In order to prevent the adhesive 3222 from flowing downward, the bottom surface of the first groove 3221 may be flat. The first groove 3221 may include a bottom surface and a side surface connected to the bottom surface. The first groove 3221 may have a shape open toward the center of the yoke member 322 so that the adhesive 3222 filled in the first groove 3221 contacts the lens barrel 210 inserted into the lens holder 320. The first groove 3221 may have a shape concave from the upper surface of the yoke member 322 in the direction of the optical axis. The first groove 3221 may be a shape concave outward in the radial direction of the yoke member 322. In an example, in order to provide sufficient coupling force between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320, the depth d1 of the first groove 3221 along the direction perpendicular to the direction of the optical axis may be 0.1 mm or more. In addition, in order to provide sufficient coupling force between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 , the width w1 of the bottom surface of the first groove 3221 may be 0.3 mm or more.
[0121] The inner circumferential surface of the yoke member 322 may include a plurality of first grooves 3221. The bracket member 321 may have a plurality of corner regions, and each of the plurality of first grooves 3221 may be disposed at a corner region of the bracket member 321. In addition, each of the plurality of first grooves 3221 may be disposed to face each other in a diagonal direction of the yoke member 322. In an example, the first grooves 3221 may be disposed at four corner regions of the bracket member 321 so as to face each other in a diagonal direction of the yoke member 322. Therefore, sufficient adhesive force may be ensured, and when the adhesive 3222 is excessively filled, thermal deformation due to a heating phenomenon may be prevented.
[0122] In order to allow the yoke member 322 to be seated on one surface of the holder member 321, the holder member 321 may have a second groove 3211 corresponding to the first groove 3221 provided at the yoke member 322 on a surface opposite to the yoke member 322. The second groove 3211 may have a shape open toward the center of the holder member 321. The second groove 3211 may have a shape recessed from the upper surface of the holder member 321 in the direction of the optical axis. The second groove 3211 may be a shape recessed outward in the radial direction of the holder member 321.
[0123] The support member 321 and the yoke member 322 may be formed of different materials. The support member 321 may be formed of a first material, and the yoke member 322 may be formed of a second material different from the first material. In an example, the value obtained by multiplying the density of the second material by the specific heat of the second material may be greater than the value obtained by multiplying the density of the first material by the specific heat of the first material. In an example, as an example only, the first material may include polycarbonate (PC), and the second material may include stainless steel, phosphor bronze, etc. As described above, since the value obtained by multiplying the density of the second material by the specific heat of the second material is greater than the value obtained by multiplying the density of the first material by the specific heat of the first material, the temperature change value of the yoke member 322 including the second material may be less than the temperature change value of the support member 321 including the first material by an energy formula such as the following formula 1. Therefore, when ultraviolet rays are irradiated, the heat generated in the lens support 320 and the deformation caused by the heat can be reduced compared to the example in which the yoke member 322 is not provided on the support member 321.
[0124] Formula 1:
[0125] Q=mC p dT=ρVC p dT
[0126]
[0127] In formula 1, Q is heat energy, m is mass, ρ is density, V is volume, and C p is the specific heat, and dT is the temperature change.
[0128] In another example, the second material may have a higher thermal conductivity than the first material. Therefore, the thermal conductivity of the yoke member 322 may be higher than that of the holder member 321. Therefore, when ultraviolet rays are irradiated, the heat generated in the lens holder 320 and the deformation caused by the heat may be reduced compared to an example in which the yoke member 322 is not provided on the holder member 321.
[0129] In the following, reference will be made to Figure 6The bracket member 341 and the yoke member 342 according to one or more embodiments are described. Figure 6 A perspective view of a lens holder is shown according to one or more embodiments.
[0130] Reference Figure 6 , the lens holder 340 according to one or more embodiments may include a holder member 341 and a yoke member 342 disposed on or above the holder member 341. The yoke member 342 may have a plate shape including a hole into which the lens barrel 210 is inserted. However, one or more examples are not limited thereto. The yoke member 342 may be disposed on any one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the holder member 341 according to the direction of the optical axis.
[0131] The first groove 3421 may be provided at the inner circumferential surface of the yoke member 342. The adhesive may be filled in the first groove 3421. In order to prevent the adhesive from flowing downward, the bottom surface of the first groove 3421 may be flat. The first groove 3421 may include a bottom surface and a side surface connected to the bottom surface. The first groove 3421 may have a shape open toward the center of the yoke member 342 so that the adhesive filled in the first groove 3421 contacts the lens barrel 210 inserted into the lens holder 340. In an example, in order to provide sufficient coupling force between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 340, the depth d2 of the first groove 3421 along the direction perpendicular to the direction of the optical axis may be 0.1 mm or more. In addition, in an example, in order to provide sufficient coupling force between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 340, the width w2 of the bottom surface of the first groove 3421 may be 0.3 mm or more.
[0132] The inner circumferential surface of the yoke member 342 may include a plurality of first grooves 3421. The bracket member 341 may have a plurality of corner regions, and in an example, each of the plurality of first grooves 3421 may be disposed at a corner region of the bracket member 341. In addition, each of the plurality of first grooves 3421 may be disposed to face each other in a diagonal direction of the yoke member 342.
[0133] The support member 341 and the yoke member 342 may have different materials. The support member 341 may be formed of a first material, and the yoke member 342 may be formed of a second material different from the first material. The value obtained by multiplying the density of the second material by the specific heat of the second material may be greater than the value obtained by multiplying the density of the first material by the specific heat of the first material. In an example, the first material may include polycarbonate, and the second material may include stainless steel or phosphor bronze. As described above, since the value obtained by multiplying the density of the second material by the specific heat of the second material may be greater than the value obtained by multiplying the density of the first material by the specific heat of the first material, the temperature change value of the yoke member 342 including the second material may be less than the temperature change value of the support member 341 including the first material through an energy formula such as the above formula 1. Therefore, compared with an example in which the yoke member 342 is not provided on the support member 341, the deformation caused by the heat generated in the lens support 340 may be reduced.
[0134] In the following, reference will be made to Figures 7 to 14 A simulation result of the lens holder 320 in the process of combining the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 will be described.
[0135] Figure 7 and Fig. 9 is a view of a comparative example in which an adhesive 3702 is filled in a groove formed in a lens holder 370 that does not include a yoke member 322, and Figure 8 and Fig.10 is a view of an example according to one or more embodiments, in which an adhesive 3222 is filled in a first groove 3221 of a lens holder 320 in which a yoke member 322 is disposed on a holder member 321 . Figure 7 and Figure 8 is a view showing a change in temperature of the lens holder when ultraviolet rays are irradiated, and Fig. 9 and Fig.10 is a view showing a temperature change of the lens holder during a curing reaction of the adhesive.
[0136] In the process of combining the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 or the lens holder 370 , temperature changes of the lens holder 320 or the lens holder 370 when ultraviolet rays are irradiated and temperature changes of the lens holder 320 or the lens holder 370 during a curing reaction of an adhesive are simulated.
[0137] Reference Figure 7 and Figure 8, it can be confirmed that in the example of the lens holder 370 of the comparative example not including the yoke member 322, the temperature deviation when ultraviolet rays are irradiated is 21.8°C. In the example, the temperature deviation may refer to the difference between the temperature of the portion of the lens holder 370 or the lens holder 320 having the highest temperature and the temperature of the portion of the lens holder 370 or the lens holder 320 having the lowest temperature. On the other hand, it can be confirmed that in the example of the lens holder 320 including the yoke member 322 according to one or more embodiments, the temperature deviation when ultraviolet rays are irradiated is 11.8°C. That is, it can be confirmed that, compared with the lens holder 370 of the comparative example not including the yoke member 322, in the example of the lens holder 320 in which the yoke member 322 is provided on the holder member 321, the temperature deviation is reduced by about 0.54 times.
[0138] Reference Fig. 9 and Fig.10 , it can be confirmed that in the example of the lens holder 370 of the comparative example not including the yoke member 322, the temperature deviation during the heating of the adhesive is 34.2°C. In the example, the temperature deviation may refer to the difference between the temperature of the portion of the lens holder 370 or the lens holder 320 having the highest temperature and the temperature of the portion of the lens holder 370 or the lens holder 320 having the lowest temperature. On the other hand, it can be confirmed that in the case of the lens holder 320 including the yoke member 322 according to one or more embodiments, the temperature deviation during the heating of the adhesive is 18.6°C. That is, it can be confirmed that, compared with the lens holder 370 of the comparative example not including the yoke member 322, in the example of the lens holder 320 in which the yoke member 322 is provided on the holder member 321, the temperature deviation is reduced by about 0.54 times.
[0139] As described above, it can be confirmed that, since the yoke member 322 is provided on one surface of the holder member 321, the temperature deviation of the lens holder 320 due to the irradiation of ultraviolet rays and the heat generation of the adhesive 3222 is greatly reduced. In other words, the process in which the lens holder 320 is thermally expanded by the irradiation of ultraviolet rays and the heat generation of the adhesive 3222 and the temperature is lowered again after the bonding between the lens barrel 210 and the lens holder 320 is completed is completed, so that the lens holder 320 is contracted, the force applied to the lens barrel 210 by the lens holder 320 can be reduced, and therefore, the risk of optical defects can also be reduced.
[0140] In the following, reference will be made to Figures 11 to 14 The roundness, concentricity, and coaxiality of the lens holder 320 are described.
[0141] Fig.11 is a cross-sectional view showing a lens barrel according to an embodiment, Fig.12is a view showing the circularity of the lens barrel according to the comparative example and the embodiment, Fig.13 is a view showing the concentricity of the lens barrel according to the comparative example and the embodiment, and Fig.14 : is a view showing the coaxiality of the lens barrel according to the comparative example and the embodiment.
[0142] Reference Fig.11 , the lens barrel 210 may include a plurality of lenses L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, and L7 sequentially stacked along the direction of the optical axis. In an example, the lens barrel 210 may include seven lenses L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, and L7 sequentially stacked along the direction of the optical axis.
