Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This utility model relates to the field of air conditioning technology, and in particular to an air conditioning indoor unit with bottom air outlet. Background Technology
[0002] Traditional wall-mounted air conditioners typically use a cross-flow air supply system, which suffers from problems such as a small air outlet angle, small air supply range, low air outlet velocity, short air supply distance, cold air blowing easily into people, and hot air not reaching the ground. Therefore, some wall-mounted air conditioners on the market now use axial flow fans. These units have an air outlet at the bottom of the casing, with the axial flow fan positioned upstream of the outlet, and a synchronously pivoting air guide grille installed inside the outlet to optimize the airflow performance.
[0003] However, existing axial-flow wall-mounted air conditioners on the market have their air outlets located at the bottom of the casing, making it impossible to deliver air upwards. This results in a small air outlet angle and limited air delivery range. Furthermore, the air guide grilles at the air outlets of existing air conditioners can only pivot synchronously to change the airflow direction, leading to a limited range of air delivery effects. They cannot achieve wide-area diffused airflow or long-distance focused airflow, thus failing to meet the diverse air delivery needs of users. Utility Model Content
[0004] In view of the above problems, this utility model proposes an air conditioning indoor unit with bottom air outlet that overcomes or at least partially solves the above problems.
[0005] One objective of this invention is to provide an indoor air conditioning unit that can achieve multi-angle axial flow air delivery, thereby improving the user experience.
[0006] A further objective of this invention is to improve the airflow guidance to enhance the heat exchange efficiency of the indoor unit of the air conditioner.
[0007] Another further objective of this invention is to improve the guiding efficiency of the air guide plate.
[0008] Specifically, this utility model provides an indoor unit for an air conditioner, comprising:
[0009] The casing has a forward-opening air outlet on its lower front side;
[0010] At least one axial flow fan, disposed within the housing, is used to direct airflow within the housing through an outlet; and
[0011] Multiple air guide vanes are rotatably mounted at the air outlet to adjust the opening and closing status of the air outlet and the flow direction of the airflow blowing out of the air outlet.
[0012] Optionally, the housing includes a rear cover, an air outlet frame, and a front panel arranged sequentially in the front-rear direction. An air inlet is provided on the rear cover, and the lower edge of the front panel is spaced apart from and defines the air outlet on the front side of the bottom wall of the air outlet frame, so that the airflow inside the housing tends to be inclined and blown downward towards the air outlet.
[0013] Optionally, the front panel is a flat plate that is tilted downwards from back to front, used to guide the airflow inside the housing to flow downwards to the air outlet.
[0014] Optionally, the multiple air guide plates are horizontally extending strip-shaped flat plates and are vertically spaced at the air outlet, and when the multiple air guide plates are in the closed position, they are all located in the same plane as the front panel.
[0015] Optionally, an auxiliary air vent is provided on the bottom front side of the housing. The auxiliary air vent is used to connect with the air outlet when the air guide plate is in the downward blowing position, so that part of the airflow in the housing is blown downward at an angle while another part of the airflow is blown downward vertically.
[0016] Optionally, the front panel is an arc-shaped plate with the opening facing backward, and multiple air guide plates are horizontally extending strip-shaped arc plates and vertically spaced at the air outlet. When the multiple air guide plates are in the closed position, at least some of the air guide plates form a continuous arc surface with the front panel to completely close the air outlet.
[0017] Optionally, the central axis of each axial fan extends horizontally and is arranged parallel to the front-rear direction of the casing.
[0018] Optionally, multiple air guide vanes are arranged vertically at intervals at the air outlet, and the rotation axes of the multiple air guide vanes are parallel to the left and right directions of the air outlet, so as to adjust the flow direction of the airflow vertically.
[0019] Optionally, the rotation axes of the multiple air guide plates are arranged in parallel so that the multiple air guide plates have a diffused air position for guiding the airflow in the housing to diffuse forward from the air outlet, a converged air position for guiding the airflow in the housing to converge forward from the air outlet, an upward blowing position for guiding the airflow in the housing to tilt forward and upward from the air outlet, and a downward blowing position for guiding the airflow in the housing to tilt forward and downward from the air outlet.
[0020] Optionally, the indoor unit of the air conditioner also includes:
[0021] The heat exchanger is housed inside the casing and located between the axial fan and the air outlet, and is used to exchange heat with the airflow blown out by the axial fan.
[0022] Optionally, the central axis of each axial fan extends horizontally and is arranged parallel to the front-rear direction of the casing.
[0023] This utility model's indoor air conditioning unit features a forward-opening air outlet on the lower front side of the casing. An axial flow fan is housed within the casing to direct airflow through the outlet, achieving downward-facing axial airflow. This increases the area covered by the heat exchange airflow within the room. Compared to traditional cross-flow airflow systems, this increases air volume and range, helping the heat exchange airflow reach further areas for more even room coverage. Furthermore, a rotatable air guide plate at the outlet adjusts its opening and closing status and the direction of airflow. This allows for wide-range airflow guidance and precise direction control, facilitating multi-angle axial airflow and avoiding the problem of limited airflow angles. This meets diverse airflow needs, improving the heat exchange efficiency of the indoor unit and enhancing the user experience.
[0024] Furthermore, in the indoor unit of this utility model, the housing includes a rear cover, an air outlet frame, and a front panel arranged sequentially in a front-to-back direction. An air inlet is provided on the rear cover, and the lower edge of the front panel is spaced apart from and defines an air outlet on the front side of the bottom wall of the air outlet frame, so that the airflow within the housing tends to tilt downwards towards the air outlet. Thus, the indoor unit of this utility model uses a layered housing structure, making the airflow path within the housing clearer and more controllable. A clear airflow channel is formed between the air inlet on the rear cover and the air outlet on the lower side of the front panel, ensuring that the airflow can efficiently flow from the rear air inlet to the lower front air outlet. While achieving axial airflow with rear inlet and front outlet, it reduces turbulence and energy loss within the housing, improves airflow guidance and overall air delivery efficiency, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency of the indoor unit.
[0025] Furthermore, in the indoor unit of this air conditioner, multiple air guide vanes are arranged vertically at intervals at the air outlet, and the rotation axes of these vanes are parallel to the left-right direction of the air outlet, thereby vertically adjusting the airflow direction. Thus, the air guide vanes of this indoor unit can precisely adjust the vertical flow direction of the forward-blowing airflow, making the airflow direction more definite and controllable, facilitating the accurate guidance of the airflow to the target area, thereby improving the guiding efficiency of the air guide vanes.

[0045] Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the present invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the present invention may be implemented in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the present invention to those skilled in the art.
[0046] like Figure 1 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner according to this embodiment generally includes a housing 100. Specifically, a forward-opening air outlet 150 is provided on the lower front side of the housing 100. Thus, the air outlet direction of the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner according to this invention is forward air outlet.
[0047] like Figures 2 to 17 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner in this embodiment of the present invention may further include at least one axial flow fan 200. Specifically, the axial flow fan 200 is disposed inside the housing 100 and is used to cause the airflow inside the housing 100 to be blown out through the air outlet 150. That is to say, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner in this embodiment of the present invention has an axial flow fan 200 disposed upstream of the air outlet 150 to cause the airflow inside the housing 100 to flow forward and be blown out through the upper air outlet 150.
[0048] In addition, such as Figures 1-2 and Figures 5 to 17 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner in this embodiment may further include multiple air guide plates (not shown in the figure). Specifically, the multiple air guide plates are rotatably disposed at the air outlet 150 to adjust the opening and closing state of the air outlet 150 and the flow direction of the airflow blown out from the air outlet 150.
[0049] The indoor unit 10 of this utility model features a forward-opening air outlet 150 at the lower front side of the housing 100. An axial flow fan 200 is housed within the housing 100 to direct airflow through the outlet 150, achieving downward-facing and forward-directing axial airflow. This increases the coverage area of the heat exchange airflow within the room. Compared to traditional cross-flow airflow systems, this increases the air volume and range, helping the heat exchange airflow reach further areas for more even room coverage. Furthermore, a rotatable air guide plate is rotatably positioned at the outlet 150 to adjust the opening and closing state of the outlet 150 and the direction of the airflow. This enables wide-range airflow guidance and precise direction control, facilitating multi-angle axial airflow and avoiding the problem of a single airflow angle. This meets diverse airflow needs, thereby improving the heat exchange effect of the indoor unit 10 and enhancing the user experience.
[0050] In some embodiments, such as Figure 1 , Figures 5 to 11 and Figures 13-17 As shown, multiple air guide vanes are arranged vertically at intervals at the air outlet 150, and the rotation axes of all the air guide vanes are parallel to the left-right direction of the air outlet 150, so as to vertically adjust the airflow direction. Specifically, as... Figures 1-2 and Figures 4 to 17 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner in this embodiment of the utility model has two air guide plates, and the two air guide plates include an upper air guide plate 500 and a lower air guide plate 600. Thus, the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are vertically spaced apart at the air outlet 150, so as to adjust the flow direction of the airflow from the air outlet 150 by raising and lowering them respectively.
[0051] In the indoor unit 10 of this invention, multiple air guide vanes are vertically spaced at the air outlet 150, and the rotation axes of these vanes are parallel to the left-right direction of the air outlet 150, thereby vertically adjusting the airflow direction. Thus, the air guide vanes of the indoor unit 10 can precisely adjust the vertical flow direction of the forward-blowing airflow, making the airflow direction more definite and controllable, facilitating the accurate guidance of the airflow to the target area, thereby improving the guiding efficiency of the air guide vanes.
[0052] In some embodiments, such as Figure 1 , Figures 5-11 and Figures 13-17As shown, the rotation axes of multiple air guide plates are arranged in parallel, so that the multiple air guide plates have a diffused air position for guiding the airflow within the housing 100 to diffuse forward and blow out from the air outlet 150, a converged air position for guiding the airflow within the housing 100 to converge forward and blow out from the air outlet 150, an upward blowing position for guiding the airflow within the housing 100 to tilt forward and upward and blow out from the air outlet 150, and a downward blowing position for guiding the airflow within the housing 100 to tilt forward and downward and blow out from the air outlet 150. In addition, the multiple air guide plates also have a closed position that completely closes the air outlet 150.
[0053] In this embodiment, each air guide vane can be controlled to rotate, allowing multiple air guide vanes to switch between a dispersing position, a concentrating position, an upward blowing position, a downward blowing position, and a closed position. Therefore, in the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this embodiment, multiple air guide vanes can switch between these positions, achieving switching between various air delivery modes such as forward diffusion, forward convergence, upward blowing, and downward blowing. This realizes multi-form axial flow air delivery, avoiding the problem of a single air delivery mode, thereby improving the heat exchange effect of the air conditioner indoor unit 10 and enhancing the user experience.
[0054] In some embodiments, such as Figure 1 and Figure 11 As shown, the housing 100 of the indoor air conditioner unit 10 of this embodiment is a horizontally extending column. Additionally, the air outlet 150 is located vertically downwards on the front side of the housing 100 and is a horizontally extending strip. That is, the left-right dimension of the housing 100 of the indoor air conditioner unit 10 is greater than its vertical dimension, and the left-right dimension of the air outlet 150 is greater than its vertical dimension.
[0055] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as Figure 1 , Figures 5-11 and Figures 13-17 As shown, multiple air guide vanes are horizontally extending strips and vertically spaced at the air outlet 150, and the rotation axes of multiple air guide vanes are all horizontally extended to adjust the airflow direction vertically. In other words, multiple air guide vanes can rotate around the air outlet in the left and right directions, and by adjusting the position of the air guide vanes, the vertical flow direction of the airflow blown from the air outlet 150 can be changed.
[0056] Therefore, the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this utility model, by opening a horizontally extending strip-shaped air outlet 150 on the vertically downward part of the front side of the horizontally extending housing 100, and setting multiple horizontally extending strip-shaped air guide plates at the air outlet 150, achieves a matching shape arrangement of the air guide plates, air outlet 150, and housing 100, improving the appearance uniformity and aesthetics of the front panel 130. At the same time, the dimension of the air outlet 150 in the left-right direction is larger than its dimension in the up-down direction, and the air guide plates can guide the air vertically, thereby increasing the air supply angle in the vertical direction and the air supply range in the left-right direction. This helps the heat exchange airflow to reach and cover the room more evenly, thereby improving the uniformity of the heat exchange airflow distribution in the room, and thus improving the heat exchange uniformity of the air conditioner indoor unit 10.
[0057] In some embodiments, such as Figure 1 As shown, the housing 100 includes a rear cover 110, an air outlet frame 120, and a front panel 130 arranged sequentially in the front-to-back direction.
[0058] Specifically, such as Figure 1 As shown, the rear cover 110, the air outlet frame 120, and the front panel 130 are sequentially connected and fixed in the front-rear direction of the housing 100. Furthermore, the rear cover 110 has an air inlet 140, and the lower edge 131 of the front panel 130 is spaced apart from and defines an air outlet 150 with the front side 122 of the bottom wall of the air outlet frame 120, so that the airflow within the housing 100 tends to be inclined downwards towards the air outlet 150. Therefore, the air inlet and outlet direction of the indoor unit 10 of this embodiment is rear air inlet and front air outlet.
[0059] Therefore, the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this utility model uses a layered housing 100 structure, which makes the airflow path within the housing 100 clearer and more controllable. A clear airflow channel is formed between the air inlet 140 on the rear cover 110 and the air outlet 150 on the lower side of the front panel 130, ensuring that the airflow can flow efficiently from the rear air inlet 140 to the lower front air outlet 150. While realizing axial airflow with rear air inlet and front air outlet, it reduces turbulence and energy loss of airflow within the housing 100, improves the airflow guidance and overall air delivery efficiency, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency of the air conditioner indoor unit 10.
[0060] In some embodiments, such as Figure 2 As shown, the air inlet 140 includes a plurality of air inlet holes 141 spaced apart on the outer peripheral side of the rear cover 110, so that airflow can enter the housing 100 from various directions at the rear of the housing 100.
[0061] Specifically, multiple air inlets 140 are evenly spaced on the outer periphery of the rear cover 110 to improve the uniformity of airflow distribution entering the housing 100 and reduce eddies and turbulence inside the housing 100, thereby improving the stability and efficiency of airflow.
[0062] Therefore, the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this utility model, by opening multiple air inlets 141 on the outer periphery of the rear cover 110, can increase the air intake area and improve air intake efficiency compared with the traditional single air inlet 140 design. At the same time, it effectively disperses the impact force when the airflow enters the housing 100, reduces the generation of noise, and thus improves the user's comfort and user experience.
[0063] In one alternative embodiment, such as Figures 5-10 As shown, the front panel 130 is a flat plate that is tilted from back to front and downward, which is used to guide the airflow in the housing 100 to flow downward to the air outlet 150, so that the airflow at the air outlet 150 has a tendency to blow forward and downward.
[0064] Furthermore, in this optional embodiment, such as Figures 5-10 As shown, multiple air guide vanes are horizontally extending strip-shaped flat plates, vertically spaced at the air outlet 150, to facilitate adjustment of the air outlet 150's vertical airflow direction. The rotation axis of the air guide vane 500 is parallel to the left-right direction of the air outlet 150, and the rotation axis of the air guide vane 500 is parallel to its length direction and located at the center of its width direction. Additionally, as... Figure 9 As shown, when the air guides are in the closed position, they are all located in the same plane as the front panel 130. Specifically, when the air guides are in the closed position, the upper edge of the uppermost air guide abuts against the lower edge 131 of the front panel 130, the lower edge of the lowermost air guide abuts against the front side 122 of the bottom wall of the air outlet frame 120, and the two adjacent sides of every two adjacent air guides abut against each other to completely close the air outlet 150.
[0065] Therefore, in the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this embodiment, the horizontally extending strip-shaped air guide plate and the horizontally extending columnar housing 100 have a unified design style, ensuring the aesthetic appearance of the air conditioner indoor unit 10. In addition, when the air guide plate is in the closed position, it is located in the same plane as the front panel 130, which improves the uniformity and aesthetics of the front panel 130.
[0066] Furthermore, in the above optional embodiments, such as Figure 10As shown, a downward-facing auxiliary air vent 160 is provided on the bottom front side of the housing 100. The auxiliary air vent 160 is used to connect with the air outlet 150 when the air guide plate is in the downward blowing position, so that part of the airflow in the housing 100 is blown downward at an angle while another part of the airflow is blown downward vertically. Thus, when the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner is running in heating mode, it can enter the downward blowing mode. At this time, the auxiliary air vent 160 opens and blows air vertically downward, thereby achieving the effect of hot air blowing downward, and further improving the heat exchange efficiency of the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner.
[0067] In another alternative embodiment, such as Figures 13-17 As shown, the front panel 130 is an arc-shaped plate with the opening facing backward. As a result, when the airflow inside the housing flows forward to the front panel 130, it can flow smoothly downward along the arc-shaped front panel 130, so that the airflow flowing downward to the air outlet 150 has a tendency to blow forward and downward.
[0068] Furthermore, in this optional embodiment, such as Figures 13-17 As shown, multiple air guide plates are horizontally extending strip-shaped arc plates and vertically spaced at the air outlet 150. When in the closed position, at least a portion of the air guide plates form a continuous arc surface with the front panel 130 to completely close the air outlet 150. Furthermore, the rotation axis of the air guide plate 500 is parallel to the left-right direction of the air outlet 150, and the rotation axis of the air guide plate 500 is parallel to its length direction and located on the side adjacent to the air outlet 150 in its width direction. In one specific embodiment, as... Figure 17 As shown, when multiple air guide plates are in the closed position, the upper air guide plate 500 retracts into the housing 100 and is located inside the lower air guide plate 600. The upper and lower ends of the lower air guide plate 600 abut against the lower edge 131 of the front panel 130 and the front side 122 of the bottom wall of the air outlet frame 120, respectively, to completely close the air outlet 150.
[0069] Therefore, in the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this embodiment, the horizontally extending arc-shaped air guide plate and the horizontally extending arc-shaped front panel 130 have a unified design style, ensuring the aesthetic appearance of the air conditioner indoor unit 10. In addition, when multiple air guide plates are in the closed position, at least some of the air guide plates and the front panel 130 form a continuous arc surface, further improving the uniformity and aesthetics of the front panel 130.
[0070] In some embodiments, such as Figure 5 or Figure 13 As shown, when multiple air guides are in the air dispersion position, the multiple air guides are arranged in parallel and all tilt downwards from back to front. Figure 6 or Figure 14 As shown, when multiple air guide vanes are in the air-gathering position, the distance between two adjacent air guide vanes gradually decreases from back to front. Figure 7 or Figure 15 As shown, when multiple air guide vanes are in the upward blowing position, each air guide vane tilts upward from back to front. Figure 8 , Figure 10 or Figure 16 As shown, when multiple air guides are in the downward blowing position, each air guide is tilted downward from back to front, and the downward tilting angle of each air guide is greater than the downward tilting angle of each air guide when it is in the air dispersing position.
[0071] In one specific embodiment, such as Figures 1-2 and Figures 5 to 17 As shown, the number of air guide plates in the indoor unit 10 of this utility model embodiment can be two, that is, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner can include an upper air guide plate 500 and a lower air guide plate 600. In this embodiment, the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are arranged vertically at intervals within the air outlet 150, and both the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are horizontally extending strips and can rotate around a horizontal axis to facilitate adjustment of the air outlet 150 in the vertical direction.
[0072] Specifically, such as Figure 5 or Figure 13 As shown, when the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are in the air dispersion position, the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are parallel and both are inclined downwards. The angle between the surface of the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 and the air outlet is selected from any value between 45° and 90°, so that the airflow blown downwards from the air outlet can continue to flow gently downwards. Thus, in the airflow direction, the airflow diffuses forward and blows out over a wide area to achieve the air dispersion and air supply mode of the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner.
[0073] like Figure 6 or Figure 14 As shown, when the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are in the air-gathering position, the distance between the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 gradually decreases from back to front. As a result, in the airflow direction, the airflow converges and flows forward, and is blown out at high speed to achieve the air-gathering and air-dissipating mode of the air conditioning indoor unit 10.
[0074] like Figure 7 or Figure 15 As shown, when the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are in the upward blowing position, both the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are tilted from back to front and upward. As a result, in the airflow direction, the airflow flows forward and upward and is tilted upward to achieve the upward blowing mode of the air conditioning indoor unit 10.
[0075] like Figure 8 , Figure 10 or Figure 16As shown, when the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are in the downward blowing position, both the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 are inclined downwards from back to front. The angle between the surface of the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 and the air outlet is selected from any value between 5° and 45°, so that the airflow blowing downwards from the air outlet is obstructed and guided by the upper air guide plate 500 and the lower air guide plate 600 to flow downwards at an angle closer to the vertical direction. Thus, in the airflow direction, the airflow flows forward and downwards and is blown downwards at an angle to achieve the downward blowing mode of the air conditioning indoor unit 10.
[0076] Therefore, in the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this utility model embodiment, multiple air guide plates have a diffused air position, a concentrated air position, an upward blowing position, a downward blowing position, and a closed position, and can switch between multiple air supply positions, realizing the switching of multiple air supply forms such as forward diffusion, forward convergence, upward blowing, and downward blowing, thereby realizing multi-form axial flow air supply, avoiding the problem of single air supply form, thereby improving the heat exchange effect of the air conditioner indoor unit 10, and thus improving the user experience.
[0077] In some embodiments, such as Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the central axis of each axial fan 200 extends horizontally and is arranged parallel to the front-rear direction of the housing 100. That is to say, the air outlet direction of each axial fan 200 is horizontally forward along the front-rear direction of the housing 100.
[0078] Therefore, in the indoor unit 10 of this utility model, each axial fan 200 blows air forward, realizing that the airflow inside the casing 100 has a tendency to flow forward and blow out from the air outlet 150. Compared with the traditional forward and downward air outlet scheme, it improves the adjustability of the air supply angle and the maximum air supply distance, which helps the heat exchange airflow reach a farther area to cover the room more evenly, thereby improving the uniformity of the heat exchange airflow distribution in the room, and thus improving the heat exchange uniformity of the indoor unit 10.
[0079] In some embodiments, such as Figures 2-4 and Figure 12 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner may include a plurality of axial flow fans 200. The plurality of axial flow fans 200 are arranged at intervals in the left-right direction of the housing 100 so that the airflow inside the housing 100 is blown forward by the plurality of axial flow fans 200. Specifically, the central axes of the plurality of axial flow fans 200 are parallel.
[0080] Therefore, multiple axial flow fans 200 arranged at intervals in the left and right directions can operate simultaneously, which improves the uniformity and volume of air supply in the left and right directions of the indoor unit 10 while achieving synchronous forward air supply in the left and right directions, thereby increasing the overall air supply volume and heat exchange effect of the indoor unit 10.
[0081] In one specific embodiment, such as Figure 4 As shown, the rotation direction of each axial fan 200 is opposite to that of the adjacent axial fan 200, so that the airflow blown out by the multiple axial fans 200 can converge in front of the housing 100.
[0082] Therefore, when multiple axial flow fans 200 rotate in opposite directions adjacent to each other, the airflow generated by every two adjacent axial flow fans 200 will interact and overlap within the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner, enhancing airflow turbulence and mixing, thereby improving the airflow circulation efficiency and uniformity within the indoor unit 10. Furthermore, the counter-rotation of every two adjacent axial flow fans 200 reduces the collision and cancellation of airflows when they meet, lowering the overall noise level of the indoor unit 10 while increasing the air delivery distance of each axial flow fan 200. This facilitates the convergence of airflows from multiple axial flow fans 200 in front of the casing 100, further improving the air delivery effect of the indoor unit 10.
[0083] In some embodiments, such as Figure 2 , Figures 5-10 and Figures 12-17 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner may also include a heat exchanger 300. Specifically, as... Figures 5-10 and Figures 13-17 As shown, the heat exchanger 300 is disposed within the housing 100, located between the axial fan 200 and the air outlet 150, for exchanging heat with the airflow blown out by the axial fan 200. In other words, the heat exchanger 300 is disposed between the axial fan 200 and the air outlet 150. In a specific embodiment, the air outlet frame 120 has an inwardly protruding mounting member 121 for mounting and fixing the heat exchanger 300, so that the heat exchanger 300 is disposed within the air outlet frame 120. Thus, the airflow entering the housing 100 from the air inlet 140 can fully contact the heat exchanger 300 under the action of the axial fan 200 before being blown out through the air outlet 150.
[0084] Therefore, the indoor unit 10 of this utility model, while achieving downward tilted airflow, avoids the problems of insufficient contact between the incoming airflow and the heat exchanger 300, uneven heat exchange, and excessive noise caused by directly placing the axial fan 200 at the air outlet 150. It ensures that the airflow in the indoor unit 10 has fully entered the internal space of the indoor unit 10 before being driven by the axial fan 200 through the heat exchanger 300, thereby increasing the contact time and uniformity between the airflow and the heat exchanger 300, thus improving the heat exchange efficiency of the indoor unit 10 and the heat exchange effect of the indoor unit 10.
[0085] In some embodiments, such as Figure 3 , Figures 5-10 and Figures 13-17 As shown, the heat exchanger 300 is a vertically arranged flat plate, and the heat exchanger 300 is spaced apart from the front panel 130 to form an air outlet space 310 for the airflow after heat exchange to flow forward and upward. That is to say, the heat exchanger 300 can be designed as a straight-vent type and vertically arranged in the housing to save the overall thickness space of the air conditioner indoor unit 10.
[0086] Additionally, in this embodiment, as Figure 3 , Figures 5-10 and Figures 13-17 As shown, in the indoor unit 10 of this utility model, the heat exchanger 300 is arranged perpendicularly to the central axis of the axial flow fan 200.
[0087] Therefore, the orientation of the heat exchanger 300 is matched with that of the multiple axial flow fans 200, allowing for a closer fit between the heat exchanger 300 and the multiple axial flow fans 200. This reduces the distance between the airflow from each axial flow fan 200 and the heat exchanger 300, thereby improving the uniformity of airflow in the indoor unit 10 and further enhancing its heat exchange efficiency. Simultaneously, the heat exchanger 300 is vertically positioned within the casing, reducing its space occupation within the indoor unit 10 and further optimizing the spatial layout.
[0088] In some embodiments, such as Figures 2 to 10 and Figures 12-17 As shown, the indoor unit 10 of the air conditioner may also include a fan housing 400. Specifically, the fan housing 400 is disposed inside the housing 100, located between the axial fan 200 and the heat exchanger 300, and is used to guide the airflow blown by the axial fan 200 toward the heat exchanger 300. That is, the fan housing 400 is fixedly disposed at the air outlet end of the axial fan 200, guiding the airflow blown by the axial fan 200 toward the surface of the heat exchanger 300 on the side opposite to the air outlet 150.
[0089] In this embodiment, the fan housing 400 may include a vertically extending, flat baffle 410 and a plurality of annular fan mounting portions 420 that protrude rearward from the vertically downward portion of the baffle 410 and are spaced apart in the left-right direction. Specifically, an air outlet cavity 411 may be defined between the baffle 410 and the heat exchanger 300. The fan mounting portions 420 are used to mount and fix the axial flow fan 200 so that the baffle 410 covers the outer periphery of the air outlet end of the axial flow fan 200.
[0090] Additionally, the fan housing 400 may also include a strip-shaped partition located between two adjacent fan mounting portions 420 and protruding forward from the front side of the baffle 410. Thus, the baffle 410, the partition located between two adjacent axial flow fans 200, the heat exchanger 300, and the housing 100 can enclose and define a plurality of air outlet chambers 411 corresponding to each axial flow fan 200, so that each axial flow fan 200 corresponds to an independent air outlet chamber 411.
[0091] Therefore, in the air conditioner indoor unit 10 of this embodiment, the fan casing 400 ensures that the airflow blown by the axial fan 200 flows directly and orderly to the heat exchanger 300, reducing airflow turbulence and energy loss. Simultaneously, the directional airflow helps enhance the convective heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger 300 surface, thereby improving the overall heat exchange efficiency of the air conditioner indoor unit 10. Furthermore, the airflow within the air conditioner indoor unit 10, guided by the fan casing 400, is more evenly distributed on the surface of the heat exchanger 300, avoiding localized overheating or overcooling.
