1. A loading cassette which carries a slide cassette receiving basket for accommodating a plurality of slides, the slide cassette receiving basket having a recessed portion recessed inwardly in a side surface thereof, wherein the loading cassette comprises: two first side plates respectively arranged to extend in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction, the two first side plates facing each other in a third direction intersecting the first and second directions; a connecting plate provided on one side of the first direction of the two first side plates, connecting the two first side plates in the third direction, and forming an opening for inserting the slide cassette receiving basket together with the two first side plates; and a first bottom plate connecting the two first side plates on the other side of the first direction, wherein on one side of the facing direction of the two first side plates, a boss is formed in a manner corresponding to the recessed portion of the slide cassette receiving basket, the boss extending in the first direction.
