Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a device for mixing and conveying clay-containing mixtures according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] The invention is applicable to mixing pumps of the aforementioned type, which are used, for example, for the production of ecological insulation or plaster layers which, in addition to sand and other carrier materials, have a high clay content and, in addition, straw, straw chips or other plant components.
[0003] The mix for the above-mentioned use is pre-mixed with a certain proportion of water to form an earth-moist mixture, which, however, due to a comparatively high clay content in combination with the other components, tends to form lumps and thus makes further processing difficult or even prevents it.
[0004] One particular disadvantage of the solutions known from the prior art is that lumps and other irregularities embedded in a corresponding amount of mix for a clay-containing plaster layer are not suitable for a spraying process with the aforementioned mixing pump, since this can lead, on the one hand, to the transport of the mix by means of the metering shaft into the mixing device being partially interrupted or even failing entirely, and, on the other hand, to errors both when applying the mix to a particular surface and in the plaster layer itself.
[0005] A device of this type is known from DE 41 20 895 A1.
[0006] Based on the solutions according to the prior art, the object of the invention is to create a device which enables continuous, intensive and, above all, lump-free premixing or blending of a quantity of clay-containing mixture, which can be used for a mixing device for the production of high-quality insulation and plaster layers for indoor and outdoor use.
[0007] The object is achieved according to the invention with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent subclaims.
[0008] The advantage of the device according to the invention lies in particular in the fact that both the transport of the mixed material into the conveying area of the dosing shaft takes place continuously and the mixing of the usually difficult to mix mixed material due to a high or predominantly high clay content with the other biological and mineral additives as well as with the required proportion of water is significantly improved.
[0009] The current state of the art is essentially characterized by the fact that the earth-moist clay mass must be mixed separately in a mixing device (compulsory mixer as an additional device) upstream of the feed pump. Conventional mixing pumps for dry mortar cannot transfer the material from the storage container into the mixing zone due to the specific properties of the clay mass and the required drip time. Transporting the material from the storage container to the mixing chamber is also not possible, thus precluding continuous processing.
[0010] By means of the device according to the invention, the lumps and similar thickenings contained in the mix are also automatically broken down in the filling container in accordance with the requirements of a spray application, intensively mixed with the other components in the mix and in this way prepared for transport through or use in a corresponding mixing device for a mix application that is considerably more homogeneous than usual.
[0011] The invention also enables the production of high-quality insulation or plaster layers of the type mentioned in an advantageous manner in ecological house construction, in particular on wall surfaces in the exterior and interior of corresponding objects with the aid of a conventional spraying device, which is used in an analogous manner for conventional plaster and / or concrete mortar or screed concrete and the like.
[0012] Finally, there is an advantage that with the device according to the invention the filling container can be automatically emptied to the maximum, whereby the usually time-consuming cleaning work of the filling container after completion of the cleaning work is considerably simplified or made easier.
[0013] The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment and a drawing. The accompanying drawing shows: Fig. 1 a section through a filling container for mixed material with a mixing device with a dosing / conveying device according to the invention and Fig. 2 the top view of the filling container according to the Fig. 1.
[0014] In the Fig. 1, a mixing device with a dosing or conveying device according to the invention is identified by the reference number 1.
[0015] The mixing device 1 then has a filling container 2, which is box-shaped here and has a filling opening 2.1 located at the top as shown in the drawing and an interior space for mixed material (not shown).
[0016] According to the Fig. 1, the filling container 2 in the described embodiment is formed by longitudinal walls 3 and transverse walls 4, which are spaced approximately parallel to one another in dimensions not described in more detail, to form a rectangular filling opening 2.1 ( Fig. 2) joined to a lower wall in the usual way, whereby corresponding parts are welded together, for example.
[0017] In the lower region of the filling container 2 as shown in the drawing, the lower wall 5 is provided with a curve (not further designated) which merges from the respective longitudinal walls 3 into the lower wall 5, whereas the transverse walls 4 are connected essentially vertically to the lower wall 5.
[0018] Contrary to the described embodiment, the filling container 2 can have both a different geometric base area and, for example, longitudinal walls 3 joined together with the transverse walls 4 in the shape of a truncated pyramid, whereby the transport of the mixed material into the lower region of the filling container 2 for corresponding further processing can be advantageously improved.
[0019] With reference to the Fig. 2 is in accordance with the Fig. 1 furthermore, in the lower wall 5, an elongated, half-shell-shaped recess 5.1 is provided for a metering shaft 6, which is rotatably mounted in a bearing arrangement 7 arranged in the respective transverse wall 4 and not shown in detail.
[0020] The dosing shaft 6 is connected to a drive device 9 which is arranged, for example, on one of the walls 4 and is also not shown in detail.
[0021] According to the present embodiment, the recess 5.1 is adapted to a dosing tool 8 arranged on the dosing shaft 6 and rotatable with the dosing shaft 6, corresponding to a rotation range not shown in detail, wherein the circumferential outer sections of the dosing tool 8 preferably have a small distance from the inner wall region of the recess 5.1.
[0022] As further shown by the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, according to this embodiment, two mixing shafts 10 are provided, essentially parallel to one another and at a certain distance from the metering shaft 6, which are mounted in corresponding bearing arrangements 11 in the respective transverse wall 4.
[0023] A mixing tool 12 is arranged on the respective mixing shaft 10, which is essentially formed from two identical and Z-shaped bent webs 13, which are arranged in a suitable manner on the mixing shafts 10 and are therefore rotatable with them.
[0024] According to the embodiment, the webs 13 of the mixing tool 12 are also connected to the respective mixing shaft 10 in such a way that a respective first inner end section 13.1 of one web 13 approximately coincides with the respective second inner end section 13.2 of the other web 13, whereby upon rotation of the respective mixing shaft 12, an approximately closed shell surface is theoretically formed by the webs 13.
[0025] With regard to the rotation of the mixing shafts 10, it is also provided according to the embodiment that the webs 13 are arranged such that the respective first and second outer end sections 13.3 and 13.4 of the respective webs 13 touch the inner region of the respective transverse wall 4 at a likewise small distance.
[0026] The mixing shafts 10 can be connected separately to a drive device 14, wherein in order to achieve a specific speed of the mixing shafts 10, a suitable gear arrangement 15 or a correspondingly reduced and not shown other arrangement, such as a chain drive, belt drive or the like, is arranged between the mixing shafts 10 and the drive device 14.
[0027] As an alternative to the separate drive device 14, it is also possible to drive the mixing shafts 10 via the drive device 9, for which purpose a suitable gear arrangement (not shown) for a sensible reduction of the drive speed is or can be provided between the drive device 9 and the mixing shafts 10, preferably outside the filling container 2.
[0028] Finally, on the filling container 2, a discharge or pump connection 16 (not shown in detail) is provided on the lower wall 5 and the transverse wall 4 opposite the drive side of the metering shaft 6 and the mixing shafts 10, via which the ready-mixed mixture is discharged to a device for its corresponding further processing or forwarding.
[0029] To avoid accidents and the like, the interior of the filling container 2 in the area of the filling opening 2.1 is secured with a suitable protective device, for example with a coarse-mesh grid 17.
[0030] With the device according to the invention and the arrangement of the mixing shafts 10 in the manner described above, it is possible to mix a quantity of, for example, only premixed mix material continuously fed into the filling container 2 in an equally continuous manner and to feed it to the dosing shaft 6 for use, wherein in advance with the device large portions and previously usually poorly or insufficiently mixable or even non-dosable components of the mix material, as mentioned at the beginning, are finely crushed and intensively mixed or blended with the fine components.
