Description

The invention relates to a rear air guiding device for a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1.Numerous air guiding devices, so-called spoilers, are known from the prior art (see, for example, DE 100 63 581 A1, DE 10 2008 038 033 A1 or WO 2013 / 178 902 A1), which are arranged in the rear region of the motor vehicle. Depending on the shape of the vehicle body (i.e. step, sloping or steep rear), these spoilers are formed at different locations and in different sizes and shapes. As is well known, these spoilers are used in particular to reduce the aerodynamic lifting force at the rear axle of the motor vehicle and to reduce the air resistance. Since these effects are only brought into effect at certain speeds, these spoilers can in many cases be correspondingly moved in and out.DE 10 2004 041 720 A1 discloses a rear air guiding device for a motor vehicle with a steep rear, which is arranged in the roof region of the motor vehicle and is designed as a fixed gap wing.DE 10 2016 105 081 A1 discloses an air guiding device in the rear region of a motor vehicle, having a rear corner which comprises a spoiler which can be transferred from a rest position into an operating position by means of an adjusting device, and vice versa, wherein the spoiler is integrated in the rear region of the roof and wherein at least a part of the roof spoiler can be adjusted translationally beyond the roof end by means of the adjusting device. It is the object of the invention to optimize a rear air guiding device for a motor vehicle in such a way that, on the one hand, the aerodynamic efficiency and the lowest possible air resistance are ensured, and, on the other hand, the air guiding device is well adapted to the "geometric" optical system of the motor vehicle. This also includes the fact that the air-guiding device can only be activated at corresponding speeds. The object is achieved by an air guiding device according to the features of claim 1. According to the invention, the spoiler is integrated in the rear region of the roof, wherein at least a part of the roof spoiler is adjustable translationally beyond the roof end by means of the adjustment device. The dependent claims describe further advantageous embodiments of the air guiding device. The roof spoiler has a spoiler extension which is translationally displaceable on the main body. A spoiler that can be deployed at specific speeds is thus implemented in a simple manner. The spoiler extension that can be displaced on the base body is guided by a linear guide integrated on the two sides of the base body. The drive for the retraction or extension of the spoiler extension can be effected electrically or hydraulically. The spoiler that can be extended in translation displaces the rear-side separation edge of the air flow to the rear, and therefore reduces the so-called dead water area behind the vehicle. The extendable spoiler extension can have at its free end a flap or wing element that can be pivoted upwards in an advantageous manner. This wing is then controlled when a particularly good traction at the rear axle is required. The drive for the wing can be realized structurally via a flexible shaft and a transmission, wherein the motor is accommodated in the actual vehicle body. The control of the wing can then take place depending on the respective driving style, which is determined by the detection of acceleration, speed and braking values.Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and explained in more detail in the following description. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a schematic view of the air guiding device arranged in a rear region of a motor vehicle according to a first exemplary embodiment, and FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of the air guiding device according to a second exemplary embodiment arranged in a rear region of a motor vehicle. The air guiding device is explained in more detail below by way of example and in a non-limiting manner with reference to the figures.FIG. 1 shows the rear region 2 of a motor vehicle, which is composed of a roof 4, two side parts 6 and 8 and a rear window 10. The rear window 10 is accommodated in a tailgate 12 which is fastened or articulated at its upper end to the vehicle body via corresponding hinges (not shown). In the region of a rear roof edge 14, an air guiding device on the rear side is provided, so that with a low air resistance, the smallest possible lift is present at the rear axle of the motor vehicle. The air-guiding device-referred to below as roof spoiler 16-has a base body 18 which has triangular surface elements 20 on its two sides (only the left-hand side can be seen in FIG. 1 as viewed in the direction of travel), which are part of the D-pillar of the vehicle. The roof spoiler 16 has a spoiler extension 22, which is mounted on the base body 18 in a translatory manner such that it can be adjusted via a hydraulically or electrically driven linear guide 24 and 26. This spoiler extension 22 can thus be extended, for example, depending on the speed of the motor vehicle, as a result of which the rear-side separation edge of the air flow is displaced to the rear, which leads to a reduction in the air resistance and to a reduction in the aerodynamic lifting force at the rear axle.FIG. 2 shows a second exemplary embodiment of an air-guiding device, in which identical components are provided with identical reference numerals. In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, the spoiler extension 22 has at its front-side rear end a flap element which can be pivoted upwards-referred to below as a wing 28.This upwardly adjustable spoiler wing 28 further increases the output and thus ensures reliable traction at the rear axle of the motor vehicle despite sport and dynamic driving.
