Description

The present invention relates to an open vehicle. The present invention also relates to a corresponding use of an open vehicle.Prior ArtIn the body construction, any partition provided at least in regions behind the seats of an open vehicle, which deflects the air vortices which are generated in particular behind the windshield and flow into the vehicle and keeps them away from the vehicle occupants, is referred to as a wind blocker, wind stop or wind shield. Wind baffles according to the prior art typically consist of air-impermeable netting, glass or acrylic glass. Also well known is the body structure of passenger cars known as a convertible or convertible, the roof of which can be opened by folding it back.FR 2 947 487 A1 discloses the subject matter of the preamble of claim 1.The prior art also includes the publications DE 101 31 541 A1, DE 102 12 573 A1, GB 199 869 A, U.S. Pat. No. 2,013,314 A and U.S. Pat. No. 2,057,907 A.Disclosure of the InventionThe invention provides an open vehicle and a corresponding use of an open vehicle according to the independent claims. One advantage of this solution lies in the open possibility of using the wind blocker optionally according to its generic intended use or in the function of a closed full roof or as a retractable vehicle roof.Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent patent claims. Thus, the wind blocker may be transparent, in particular made of a glass or acrylic glass. A wind blocker of this type counteracts restraint of the passenger compartment-which is sometimes perceived by the occupants-and gives them a feeling of freedom.Brief Description of the DrawingsAn exemplary embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and is described in more detail below. FIG. 1 shows the side view of a vehicle according to the invention, the wind blocker of which is located in a first, half-open end position for use as a targa or wind blocker. FIG. 2 shows a view corresponding to FIG. 1 of the vehicle, the wind blocker of which is located here in a second end position (closed). FIG. 3 shows a schematically simplified top view of the vehicle.Embodiments of the InventionFIG. 1 illustrates the basic structural features of a variant of the invention on the basis of the body structure of a roadster, the top of which can be gradually lowered and thus optionally used as a wind blocker. It is understood that the active principle according to the invention can be transferred to other body structures of open vehicles such as convertibles, convertibles or targas without departing from the scope of the invention. In the embodiment discussed, the vehicle ( 10) comprises a glass wind blocker ( 11) which - in the longitudinal section of the vehicle ( 10) - describes a circular arc with a central angle of approximately 90°. While the wind blocker (11) has been lowered in its end position as shown approximately with one third of its surface area into the body of the vehicle (10), the double arrow in FIG. 1 indicates that it can nevertheless be pivoted about an axis running transversely to the vehicle (10) and thus perpendicularly to the plane of illustration. The axis of rotation can also be located on a defined path.FIG. 2 illustrates how the vehicle roof travels from its closed to the open position on a track in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The end face of the wind blocker (11) opposite the windshield thus terminates approximately flush with the structure of the vehicle (10). This design does not in any way exclude that in an alternative embodiment the wind blocker (11) may also be partially recessed in the vehicle (10) in this second end position. Furthermore, for reasons of the geometric and functional arrangement of components and different equipment variants of the vehicle ( 10), a deviating entry curve can certainly result.FIG. 2 furthermore illuminates another aspect: As two dot-and-dash outlines indicate in the drawing, the wind blocker ( 11) can be displaced from the closed position, illustrated in full line, in the direction of a rear spoiler of the vehicle ( 10) by a distance, with the result that the position shown in FIG. 3 is approximately established. Such a translatory movement can be represented by means of slide bearings.

Claims
