Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] Motor vehicles with air deflectors, often referred to as spoilers, are known from the prior art. It is also known that air deflectors, especially rear spoilers, can be retracted and extended. This is done by a drive mechanism, usually located below the air deflector.

[0003] During the production of a motor vehicle, the drive mechanism must be attached to the vehicle body. It is known from DE 10 2010 000 634 A1 that centering pins are used to secure the drive mechanism to the body in the desired position.

[0004] In contrast, the present invention is based on the object of simplifying the attachment of the drive means to the motor vehicle.

[0005] This object is achieved by a motor vehicle according to claim 1 and by a method according to claim 9. Embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

[0006] The motor vehicle comprises a body, an air guiding means that can be fastened to the body, a drive means for adjusting the air guiding means when fastened to the body, and connecting means for connecting the drive means to the body.

[0007] For the purposes of this description, an air guide means a component that redirects air during the intended operation of the motor vehicle and uses the resulting forces to improve the vehicle's handling characteristics. For example, the air guide means can be designed to redirect the air in such a way as to increase the vehicle's roadholding.

[0008] The drive means can, for example, be an electric motor.

[0009] The connecting means comprise a plurality of first and a plurality of second fastening elements. The second fastening elements can preferably be arranged on the drive means. In the context of this description, this is understood in particular to mean that the second fastening elements can be arranged, for example, on a mounting bracket for the drive means. The first fastening elements can be inserted through recesses in the body into the second fastening elements from a first position to a second position.

[0010] In the first position, the drive means can be aligned relative to the body. Such an alignment can also be possible in the second position. In the second position, the second fastening elements exert a clamping force on the first fastening elements, so that the first and second fastening elements are connected to one another. Since the first fastening elements protrude through the recesses in the body and the second fastening elements are arranged on the drive means, the drive means is thus connected to the body.

[0011] The clamping connection between the first and second fastening elements is particularly easy to establish by exerting a force on the drive means in the direction of the first fastening elements. This makes it particularly easy to attach the drive means to the body. Furthermore, the drive means can be easily removed from the body, for example, for repair or maintenance.

[0012] The first fastening elements have a thread. The connecting means have third fastening elements that can be screwed onto the thread of the first fastening elements. These third fastening elements can be used to reinforce the connection of the drive means to the body.

[0013] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second fastening elements can have a first region and a second region. In the first position, the first fastening elements can only protrude into the respective first region. When the first fastening elements are in the first position, the second regions can be free of the respective first fastening element. In this way, the first fastening elements can be inserted into the second fastening elements and aligned particularly easily.

[0014] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second fastening elements in the first region can each have a cylindrical cross-sectional area that substantially corresponds to the cross-sectional area of the region of the first fastening elements that protrudes into the second fastening elements in the second position. In the context of this description, this is understood in particular to mean that, for example, the outer circumference of the cross-sectional area of the first fastening elements approximately corresponds to the inner circumference of the cross-sectional area of the second fastening elements in the first region.

[0015] According to one embodiment of the invention, the recesses in the body can be designed to allow the first fastening elements to be displaced when they protrude through the recesses. This allows the drive means to be aligned relative to the body to compensate for assembly and / or production tolerances.

[0016] According to one embodiment of the invention, at least a first of the recesses can be designed as an elongated hole. This allows the drive means to be displaced relative to the body in a first dimension, so that assembly and production tolerances in the first dimension can be compensated.

[0017] According to one embodiment, at least a second of the recesses can be configured for displacement of the first fastening element protruding through the second recess in two mutually perpendicular directions. This enables displacement of the drive means relative to the body in the first and a second dimension, so that assembly and production tolerances in the first and second dimensions can be compensated.

[0018] According to one embodiment of the invention, the drive means can be fixed to the body by screwing the third fastening elements toward the second fastening elements. In the fixed state, the drive means can be attached to the body in such a way that displacement due to forces occurring during normal operation of the motor vehicle is impossible. In this case, the connection between the first and second fastening elements can merely serve to ensure that the drive means is securely attached to the body during the assembly process. The actual fastening takes place only when the third fastening elements are screwed onto the first fastening elements.

[0019] According to one embodiment of the invention, the air guiding means can be designed as a rear spoiler that is attached to a tailgate of the body. The tailgate can be designed, for example, as a lid and conceal an interior space that can be used, for example, as a luggage compartment or in which an engine is arranged. The recesses can be arranged in the tailgate. The tailgate can be opened and closed. The third fastening elements can be concealed when screwed onto the first fastening elements when the tailgate is closed. They can thus be arranged inside the interior space, while the second fastening elements can be arranged outside the interior space.

[0020] According to the method according to claim 9, the drive means is first placed on the closed tailgate of the motor vehicle, so that the first fastening elements, which protrude through the tailgate, are inserted into second fastening elements up to a first position. The second fastening elements are arranged on the drive means.

[0021] The first fastening elements are then further inserted into the second fastening elements to a second position, in which the second fastening elements exert a clamping force on the first fastening elements. In this state, the drive means is sufficiently secured to the tailgate so that the tailgate can be opened without the drive means falling off.

[0022] The tailgate is then opened. With the tailgate open, the third fastening elements are then screwed onto the first fastening elements, clamping the tailgate between the third and second fastening elements. For this purpose, the first fastening elements can, for example, have an external thread and the third fastening elements an internal thread.

[0023] Further features and advantages of the present invention will become clear from the following description of preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same reference numerals are used for identical or similar components and for components with identical or similar functions. Fig. 1 a schematic perspective view of a portion of a motor vehicle according to an embodiment of the invention with a drive means attached to the body of the motor vehicle for adjusting an air guiding means; Fig. 2 a schematic perspective view obliquely from above of a partial region of a drive means for a rear spoiler; Fig. 3 a schematic perspective view from below of the section Fig. 2; Fig. 4 an enlarged section of Fig. 1; Fig. 5 an enlarged section of Fig. 1; Fig. 6 a schematic perspective view of the motor vehicle from Fig. 1; Fig. 7 is a schematic sectional view through first and second fastening elements; and Fig. 8 an enlarged section of Fig. 7.

[0024] The motor vehicle comprises a body 100, to which a drive means 101 for adjusting an air guide means is attached by connecting means. Second fastening elements 200 are arranged on the drive means 101, into which first fastening elements 400 are inserted during assembly on the motor vehicle. When the first fastening elements 400 extend sufficiently far into the second fastening elements 200, they are held there by a clamping force, thereby connecting the drive means 101 to the body. This can be achieved by simply pushing the second fastening elements 200 onto the first fastening elements 400.

[0025] The first fastening elements 400 protrude through recesses in the body. Fig. 4 allows a movement of the first fastening element 400 projecting through it in two dimensions, while the recess shown in Fig.The recess shown in Figure 5 is designed as an elongated hole and allows movement of the first fastening element 400 extending through it only in a single dimension. Due to this possible displacement of the first fastening elements 400 relative to the body, assembly and production tolerances can be compensated for, and the drive means 101 can be positioned as desired.

[0026] The connection of the first fastening elements 400 to the second fastening elements 200 is sufficient during assembly to allow the tailgate to be opened without the drive means 101 becoming detached from the body 100. To ensure that the drive means 101 is sufficiently secured to the body 100 for the intended operation of the motor vehicle, third fastening elements are screwed onto the first fastening elements 400. This occurs with the tailgate open on the side of the body facing away from the second fastening elements 200. The body is thus clamped between the third fastening elements and the second fastening elements 200, so that the drive means 101 is sufficiently secured to the body 100.

[0027] The clamping force exerted by the second fastening elements 200 on the first fastening elements 400 is achieved by the second fastening elements 200 having a first region 801 and a second region 800. The cross-sectional shape of the first region 801 approximately corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the first fastening elements 400. In the second region 800, the second fastening elements 200 are elastically deformed when the first fastening elements 400 are inserted into it. Due to this elasticity, the second fastening elements 200 then exert a clamping force on the first fastening elements 400.

[0028] If the drive means 101 is to be removed from the body 100, the third fastening elements must be unscrewed from the first fastening elements 400. The drive means 101 can then be easily pulled off with sufficient force.
