Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a shift lever device for a manual transmission vehicle equipped with an electronic clutch that increases a speed of detecting the operation of a manual shift lever and performs precise sensing to increase reliability. 2. Description of related technology
[0002] A transmission mounted in a vehicle generally performs a function of changing a driving force generated by an engine during traveling to suit the traveling state of the vehicle and transmitting the driving force to a driving wheel, and is classified into, for example, manual, automatic, and continuously variable transmissions depending on the operation method thereof.
[0003] In a manual transmission, a selector cable and a shift cable each receive a tensile force according to the operation of a shift lever provided in a passenger compartment to independently operate a selector lever and a shift lever provided on the transmission side, so that power transmission according to the shifting of the gear is realized via a corresponding gear train among a plurality of gear trains provided in the transmission.
[0004] In recent years, a method for electronically controlling a clutch pedal has been proposed, which performs clutch control primarily provided with a manual transmission. That is, when shifting the manual transmission, it is necessary to control the clutch operation by depressing the clutch pedal. However, there is a problem that a driver may feel fatigue because the driver must frequently depress the clutch pedal when the vehicle is operated in a speed range that requires frequent gear shifting. To solve this problem, a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission has been adopted, but it is still necessary to eliminate the characteristics and effects of the manual transmission.
[0005] For this purpose, a structure for controlling the clutch was applied to a shift lever that acts like the manual transmission.
[0006] However, in order to control the clutch of the manual transmission with the shift lever, it is necessary to provide the shift lever with a sensor. Since the shift lever and the sensor are configured to rotate together, a collision noise may occur due to a collision between the shift lever and the sensor when the shift lever is operated. In addition, the shift lever of the manual transmission tends to perform a gear shift operation quickly, but if the sensor fails to accurately and quickly detect the movement of the shift lever, the gear shift operation cannot be performed at the correct time. In addition, additional components must be provided in a complicated configuration to connect the shift lever and the sensor to each other, which is disadvantageous from the aspect of mounting a console.
[0007] Furthermore, EP 2 078 886 B1 discloses a gearshift lever device for a vehicle, comprising a gearshift lever rotatably provided in a lever body and connected to a selector cable; a guide bushing mounted on a lower portion of the gearshift lever and shaped to surround the selector cable and the lower portion of the gearshift lever to fix the selector cable to the gearshift lever, wherein the guide bushing is configured to indicate a rotational position of the gearshift lever; and a sensor module provided in the lever body and configured to detect a position of the guide bushing and determine a gearshift intention of the driver based on the rotational position of the gearshift lever.
[0008] DE 600 07 705 T2 discloses a shift control arrangement for a transmission, comprising: a housing providing a support, a lever pivotably supported by the housing for movement between shift positions, a mechanical linkage for generating a linear movement in response to the pivoting movement of the lever, a core element connected to the mechanical linkage for receiving the linear movement, a receptacle movably supporting the core element and held in the receptacle, an electrical sensor supported by the receptacle for measuring the linear movement of the core element, characterized by a connecting piece attached to the support, the receptacle having a pivot tube supported by the connecting piece for pivoting relative thereto, wherein the pivot tube has an inner spherical portion and the connector has an outer spherical pocket slidingly engaging and supporting the inner spherical portion.
[0009] JP 2000 - 88 012 A provides a multi-speed transmission capable of shifting to a target gear stage by manually operating a shift lever in a selection direction and a shift direction. A shift travel sensor for detecting a travel value and a direction in a shift direction is provided on a portion of a shift lever for generating a displacement in a shift direction or a portion of a shift rod connected to the shift lever when an operating force in a shift direction is applied to a knob of the shift lever to a set value or more. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0025] Hereinafter, a shift lever device for a vehicle according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0026] The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 are views illustrating a shift lever device for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the vehicle gearshift lever device shown in Fig. 1 is illustrated, and the Fig. 4 to 8 are views for explaining the vehicle shift lever device shown in Fig. 1 is illustrated.
[0027] As in the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the vehicle shift lever device according to the present invention includes a shift lever 20 rotatably provided in a lever body 10 and connected to a selector cable 50, a guide bushing 30 mounted on the lower portion of the shift lever 20 and shaped to surround the selector cable 50 and the lower portion of the shift lever 20 to fix the selector cable 50 to the shift lever 20, the guide bushing 30 being configured to indicate the rotational position of the shift lever 20, and a sensor module 40 provided below the shift lever 20 in the lever body 10 and configured to detect the position of the guide bushing 30 and determine the driver's gear shift intention based on the rotational position of the shift lever 20.
[0028] The present invention relates to the shift lever 20 of a manual transmission vehicle equipped with an electronic clutch, and more particularly to a shift lever device meshing with an E-clutch, wherein the engagement and disengagement operations of a clutch are performed only by operating the shift lever 20.
[0029] Here, the selector cable 50 is connected to the shift lever 20, and a shift cable 2 is connected via an engaging lever 1, so that gear shifting can be performed according to the rotational direction of the shift lever 20. That is, according to the present invention, when the shift lever 20 is operated, the operation of disengaging a clutch is determined based on the detection of the driver's gearshift intention, and by operating the shift lever 20 in the clutch-disengaged state, a gear stage is changed through the selector cable 50 and the shift cable 2. Alternatively, the selector cable and the shift cable may be omitted, and the movement of the shift lever 20 may be transmitted as an electronic signal so that a gear stage is changed when an actuator operates a select lever and a shift lever of a transmission in response to the electronic signal.
[0030] The structure in which the select lever and the shift lever of the transmission are operated and gear shifting is performed when the shift lever 20 is operated is known in the art, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted herein. In the following description, the control of the operation of a clutch in response to the operation of the shift lever 20 will be described.
[0031] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. For this purpose, as shown in Fig. 3, the shift lever device of the present invention includes the lever body 10, the shift lever 20, the guide bushing 30, and the sensor module 40. That is, in the state where the shift lever 20 is rotatably provided in the lever body 10, the selector cable 50 is fixed to the shift lever 20 by the guide bushing 30, and the sensor module 40 determines the driver's gear shift intention based on the position of the shift lever 20 by detecting that the guide bushing 30 is moved together with the shift lever 20. Here, the sensor module 40 can be easily attached to the lower portion of the lever body 10 with a snap-in connection structure.
[0032] Specifically, the shift lever 20 is positioned in the upper portion of the lever body 10, the sensor module 40 is positioned below the shift lever 20 in the lever body 10, and the guide bushing 30 is provided on the lower portion of the shift lever 20, thereby ensuring the maximum range of motion of the guide bushing 30 when the shift lever 20 is rotated to select a gear stage. This can assist the sensor module 40 in clearly detecting the movement of the guide bushing 3 and accurately determining the driver's gearshift intention. In other words, by providing the guide bushing 30 indicating the position of the shift lever 20 on the lower portion of the shift lever 20 at a position farthest from the rotation center of the shift lever 20, the amount of movement of the guide bushing 30 is maximized when the shift lever 20 rotates, which enables the sensor module 40 to clearly detect the position of the shift lever 20.
[0033] In addition, the guide bushing 30 fixes the selector cable 50 connected to the shift lever 20 to the shift lever 20, thereby preventing the selector cable 50 from being separated from the shift lever 20.
[0034] In this way, in the present invention, by mounting the guide bushing 30 on the lower portion of the shift lever 20, it is possible to enable movement of the guide bushing 30 with the maximum range of motion when the shift lever is operated, and by positioning the sensor module 40 below the shift lever 20 so as to be spaced from the guide bushing 30, it is possible to enable the sensor module 40 to accurately detect the position of the guide bushing 30, which enables precise control of the actuation timing of a clutch.
[0035] In order to explain the present invention described above in more detail, as in Fig. 3, a handle 22 is provided on the upper portion of the shift lever 20, the lower portion of the shift lever 20 is connected to the selector cable 50 and the guide bushing 30, and a spherical body connector 24 is formed on a middle portion of the shift lever 20, whereby the shift lever 20 can be placed in the lever body 10 via the body connector 24 to be rotatable forward, backward, leftward, or rightward.
[0036] That is, the handle 22 that the driver can grip is provided on the upper portion of the shift lever 20, and the selector cable 50 is fixed to the lower portion of the shift lever 20 through the guide bushing 30. Since the shift lever 20 of a manual transmission needs to be operated left and right as well as forward and backward, the spherical body connector 24 is formed on the middle portion of the shift lever 20 and placed in the lever body 10 to allow free rotation of the shift lever 20, so that the shift lever 20 can be operated forward, backward, left, or right. For this purpose, the lever body 10 may be formed with a recess in which the body connector 24 of the shift lever 20 is placed, and the shift lever 20 is rotated around the body connector 24, which is the rotation center, in the state where the same is placed in the lever body 10.
[0037] As in Fig. 4, a spherical cable connector 26 may be formed on a lower end of the shift lever 20, and a clamp 52 may be formed on an end of the selector cable 50 to surround the cable connector 26. The clamp 52 has a slot 54 formed in a portion thereof.
[0038] With this configuration, since the clamp 52 of the selector cable 50 is connected to surround the spherical cable connector 26 of the shift lever 20, even if the shift lever 20 is moved forward, backward, left, or right, the clamp 52 of the selector cable 50 and the cable connector 26 of the shift lever 20 are rotatable relative to each other, which can ensure smooth rotation and movement of the shift lever 20. Furthermore, since the clamp 52 of the selector cable 50 is provided with the slot 54 and has a C-shaped configuration, the clamp 52 can be easily attached to the cable connector 26.
[0039] As in the Fig. 5 to 7, the guide bushing 30 may be comprised of a bushing body 32 having an upper portion recessed downward to allow the lower portion of the shift lever 20 to be inserted thereinto, the bushing body 32 having a position indicator 32a formed on the lower portion thereof, and a plurality of fastening guides 34 equidistantly spaced from one another along the circumference of the bushing body 32 and extending upward from the bushing body 32 to surround the lower portion of the shift lever 20 that is inserted into the bushing body 32.
[0040] As in Fig. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the upper portion of the socket body 32 of the guide socket 30 is recessed downward and open, so that the lower portion of the shift lever 20 is inserted into the recessed upper portion. The plurality of fastening guides 34 are formed on the socket body 32 to extend upward from the periphery of the socket body 32. The fastening guides 34 surround the lower portion of the shift lever 20, which is inserted into the socket body 32, so that there is no gap between the guide socket 30 and the shift lever 20. Here, the distance between the plurality of fastening guides 34 may be smaller than the width of the lower portion of the shift lever 20.
[0041] Furthermore, the fastening guides 34 extending upward from the upper periphery of the socket body 32 are formed to converge toward the center of the socket body 32. Since the plurality of fastening guides 34 come into contact with the shift lever 20 inserted into the socket body 32, a sufficient contact force is achieved. That is, the lower portion of the shift lever 20, when inserted into the upper portion of the socket body 32, acts to spread the fastening guides 34 formed in a converged manner. At this time, the fastening guides 34 are elastically brought into contact with the lower portion of the shift lever 20, so that no gap exists between the fastening guides 34 and the shift lever 20.
[0042] In this way, since the plurality of fixing guides 34 surround the shift lever 20, it is possible to minimize shock to the shift lever 20 in the state where the socket body 32 is mounted to the shift lever 20, ensuring that accurate information about the position of the shift lever 20 is displayed via the position indicator 32a formed on the socket body 32.
[0043] To provide further detailed description in connection herewith, the peripheral surface of the socket body 32 may be formed with a plurality of recesses 32b spaced from the fastening guides 34 and recessed downwardly from the upper end of the peripheral surface.
[0044] The plurality of recesses 32b formed downward from the upper end of the peripheral surface of the socket body 32 can guide the fixing guides 34 to spread outward when the lower portion of the shift lever 20 is inserted into the upper portion of the socket body 32 and brought into contact with the fixing guides 34.
[0045] For this purpose, the number of mounting guides 34 and the number of recesses 32b may be equal, and each recess 32b may be provided between the respective adjacent mounting guides 34 and spaced equidistantly from each other. When the lower portion of the shift lever 20 is inserted between the mounting guides 34, the mounting guides 34 may be guided by the recesses 32b to smoothly expand outward.
[0046] One recess 32b-1 among the plurality of recesses 32b may be formed to be deeper and larger than, or equal to, the other recesses 32b to allow the selector cable 50 to be inserted therein.
[0047] In the present invention, the guide bushing 30 is configured to surround and fix the selector cable 50. For this purpose, any recess 32b-1 among the recesses 32b in the bushing body 32 constituting the guide bushing 30 may be sized to allow the selector cable 50 to be inserted therein, and may be formed deeper than the other recesses 32b to allow the selector cable 50 to be placed on the underside of the recessed portion of the bushing body 32.
[0048] In this way, by providing the plurality of recesses 32b, it is possible to guide the fastening guides 34 to elastically expand outward, and by allowing the selector cable 50 to be inserted through and placed in a specific recess 32b-1, it is possible to enable continuous connection of the selector cable 50 to the lower portion of the shift lever 20 inserted into the socket body 32.
[0049] As in the Fig. 6 and Fig. As illustrated in Fig. 7, a locking flange 28 is formed on the lower portion of the shift lever 20 to protrude in the radial direction, and a locking groove 32c is formed in the inner surface of the bushing body 32 along the periphery thereof, so that the locking flange 28 is inserted into the locking groove 32c. When the bushing body 32 is mounted to the lower portion of the shift lever 20, the locking flange 28 of the shift lever 20 is fitted into the locking groove 32c in the bushing body 32, so that the shift lever 20 and the guide bushing 30 can be mutually fixed to each other. In particular, a so-called "one-touch coupling" is implemented in which the locking flange 28 is inserted into the locking groove 32c simply by pressing the bushing body 32 of the guide bushing 30 onto the lower portion of the shift lever 20, which improves the operability.
[0050] The lower portion of the bushing body 32 may be provided with a lower extension 32d extending downward and having the position indicator 32a formed on a distal end thereof. In the state where the guide bushing 30 is mounted on the shift lever 20, the position indicator 32a may be positioned on the side of the sensor module 40.
[0051] In this way, since the projection 32d is formed on the lower portion of the socket body 32 to extend downward, and since the projection 32a is provided on the distal end of the projection 32b, the position indicator 32a can be located a short distance from the sensor module 40, which can enable the sensor module 40 to detect the position of the position indicator 32a with increased accuracy. That is, the smaller the distance between the position indicator 32a and the sensor module 40, the higher the detection accuracy. By forming the projection 32d on the lower portion of the socket body 32 to extend downward, it is possible to reduce the distance between the position indicator 32a and the sensor module 40.
[0052] The position indicator 32a of the socket body 32 may be configured to generate a magnetic field, and the sensor module 40 may be configured to be wider than the radius of rotation of the shift lever 20 and configured to detect the magnetic field of the position indicator 32a. In this configuration, the sensor module 40 may detect the position of the position indicator 32a based on the rotation of the shift lever 20.
[0053] For this purpose, the position indicator 32a may be formed from a magnet, and the sensor module 40 may be a PCB sensor. Since the sensor module 40 is designed to be wider than the radius of rotation of the shift lever 20, the sensor module 40 can cover the entire range of motion of the guide bushing 30 depending on the rotation of the shift lever 20.
[0054] As in Fig. Specifically, as illustrated in Figure 8, the sensor module 40 may include a sensing region 40a formed in the direction in which the shift lever 20 is moved for sensing the driver's gearshift intention. When the shift lever 20 is rotated and the position indicator 32a is positioned within the sensing region 40a, the sensor module 40 may determine that the driver's gearshift intention has been detected and transmit a clutch release signal.
[0055] As in Fig.As illustrated in Figure 8, the detection area 40a provided in the sensor module 40 is positioned in the direction in which the shift lever 20 is moved. As such, the detection area 40a serves to detect the driver's gearshift intention when the shift lever 20 is operated. That is, when the shift lever 20 is operated and the position indicator 32a reaches the detection area 40a, the sensor module 40 determines that the driver is shifting gear stages and enables disengagement of a clutch via communication with an ECU. When the clutch engagement is disengaged, shifting to a specific gear stage can then be completed through the selector cable 50 described above.
[0056] The sensor module 40 may further include a plurality of shift regions 40b corresponding to a plurality of gear stages, and a plurality of guide regions 40c for separating the shift regions 40b from each other. The guide regions 40c may be configured to have the same polarity as that of the magnetic field of the position indicator 32a. This can prevent erroneous operation when the shift lever 20 is operated to change a gear stage.
[0057] That is, the guide bushing 30 mounted on the lower portion of the shift lever 20 is provided with the position indicator 32a, and the position indicator 32a is formed of a magnet. Here, the guide portions 40c of the sensor module 40 and the position indicator 32a generate a repulsive force between them because their polarity is the same, which can prevent the shift lever 20 from moving to the guide portions 40c that separate the respective shift portions 40b from each other when the shift lever 20 is operated. As a result, rotation of the shift lever 20 is restricted to the guide portions 40c and allows it to move only to the shift portions 40b, preventing erroneous operation of the shift lever 20.
[0058] As is apparent from the above description, according to the shift lever device for a manual transmission vehicle equipped with an electronic clutch, the shift lever 20 is configured not to contact a sensor, thereby preventing collision noise due to contact between the shift lever 20 and the sensor. Furthermore, according to the present invention, an accurate sampling value based on the operation of the shift lever 20 can be obtained by utilizing the maximized radius of rotation of the shift lever 20, which can lead to increased reliability. Furthermore, a reduced overall assembly, reduced manufacturing costs, and improved productivity can be achieved due to structural simplification.
