Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to an equipment part for a vehicle with at least one pivoting device comprising a pivotable arm with a base part and a part that can be moved translationally relative to the base part.
[0002] A headrest is known from the prior art. The headrest has arms on both sides of a base body that can be pivoted between a non-use position and a use position. Each arm comprises a base part and an extension part. The base part was pivotally driven by a drive. The extension part could be moved between a base position and an extension position by a separate drive.
[0003] EP 3 031 665 A1 relates to a headrest with a central part, to which side parts are movably mounted at opposite ends, allowing them to be adjusted forward and backward. Each side part can be locked independently of the other side part in a plurality of positions using a locking device.
[0004] DE 10 2013 018 900 A1 relates to a headrest with a central section having a headrest surface and two lateral sections arranged on either side of the central section, which are movable from a retracted position to an extended position. The lateral sections are each articulated to a rod guided in a guide.
[0005] US 2020 / 0 369 188 A1 relates to an adjustment mechanism with a spindle, wherein an adjustment corresponding to a first degree of freedom occurs in a first adjustment range of the spindle nut, and an adjustment corresponding to a second degree of freedom occurs in a second adjustment range. In this way, side areas of the backrest or side areas of a headrest can be adjusted.
[0006] The object of the invention was to create a piece of equipment which requires less manufacturing effort and less control effort.
[0007] The problem was solved by a fitting having the features of claim 1.
[0008] The equipment part comprises a base and at least one pivoting device with an arm pivotable relative to the base about a pivot axis between a first position and a second position. For example, two pivoting devices are formed on the base. The arms of both pivoting devices can move synchronously, for example. Alternatively, the arms of both pivoting devices could also move non-synchronously with each other.
[0009] According to another embodiment, only one pivoting device is mounted on the base. A drive device allows an arm of the pivoting device to pivot between the first position and the second position.
[0010] The pivoting device comprises an arm with a base part and an extension part. The extension part is translationally movable relative to the base part between a primary position and a secondary position. In the primary position, the base part and the extension part are in a nested position. In the secondary position, the base part and the extension part are in an extended position. This means that the arm formed by the base part and the extension part has a shorter length in the primary position than in the secondary position.
[0011] The drive also moves the extension part between the primary and secondary positions. The drive is thus responsible for both the pivoting movement of the arm and the translational movement of the extension part relative to the base part.
[0012] The extending part is guided on the base part by means of a guide device. The guide device allows the extending part to be moved on the base part between the primary position and the secondary position.
[0013] The base is assigned a first holding surface that engages a second holding surface assigned to the extending part. The first holding surface is circular. It is formed, for example, on a circular cylindrical element. During the pivoting movement between the first position and the second position, the second holding surface rolls on the first holding surface, whereby the extending part moves between the primary and secondary positions.
[0014] The advantage of the invention is, among other things, that only one drive is required for the pivoting movement of the base part between the first position and the second position and for the extending movement of the extending part between the primary position and the secondary position. The manufacture and control of the equipment part is thus less complex in terms of parts and control effort. Nevertheless, the solution according to the invention ensures the desired function, including pivoting and translational movement.
[0015] The second holding surface is, for example, firmly connected to the extending part. It can be connected directly or indirectly to the extending part. In this embodiment, the first holding surface can be connected to the base, for example, using conventional fastening methods. Alternatively, the first holding surface is, for example, formed onto the base part. The first holding surface does not, for example, move relative to the base. During the pivoting movement, in this embodiment, a relative movement takes place between the first holding surface and the second holding surface in such a way that the second holding surface is moved around the first holding surface by the arm formed by the base part and the extending part being guided around the first holding surface. This embodiment of the second holding surface enables simple production.
[0016] According to an alternative embodiment, for example, the first holding surface is movable relative to the base. The base part is also movable relative to the base. In this case, the first holding surface rotates in such a way that the movement of the extending part relative to the base part is supported. For a given pivoting movement of the base part, the extending part in this embodiment can perform a greater relative movement relative to the base part than if the first holding surface were immovable relative to the base.
[0017] For example, the first holding surface is formed by a gear ring or a gearwheel, and the second holding surface is formed by a toothed rail. A gear ring, for example, is rigidly connected to the base. Alternatively, a gearwheel, for example, is movable relative to the base. The gearwheel is driven, for example, by the same drive as the pivoting part. In this embodiment, no slippage occurs between the first holding surface and the second holding surface because the teeth engage positively.
[0018] According to an alternative embodiment, the first holding surface is formed by a friction wheel, and the second holding surface by a friction rail. In this embodiment, the friction wheel can also be rigidly connected to the base and thus immobile relative to the base, or alternatively, it can be rotatable relative to the base. This design ensures silent operation when the holding surfaces roll against each other.
[0019] To ensure the guidance of the extending part on the base part, the equipment part has a guide device with first guide means assigned to the base part, which engage with second guide means of the extending part. Such a guide is formed, for example, by a dovetail guide, with side areas of one guide means being arranged in grooves of the other guide means in such a way that only one degree of freedom in two opposite directions of movement is available. The extending part cannot then accidentally detach from the base part.
[0020] The second retaining surface is arranged, for example, between a guide surface of the second guide means and the first retaining surface in such a way that the second retaining surface is always in engagement with the first retaining surface when the pivoting part moves between the first position and the second position. For example, if the first retaining surface and the second retaining surface are designed in the form of toothing, there may be play between the retaining surfaces. If, for example, the retaining surfaces are designed as friction surfaces, a press fit must be provided.
[0021] The drive device comprises, for example, at least one motor, e.g., an electric motor. Alternatively, any suitable drive mechanism may be used. Additionally, the drive mechanism may comprise, for example, a gear to provide any necessary transmission of the rotational speeds between a drive shaft of the motor and the base part or between the drive shaft and the first support surface.
[0022] The equipment part is, for example, a headrest and the pivoting device is an arm that can be pivoted relative to the base. The arm is mounted, for example, on at least one side region, in particular on two opposite side regions of a head box which forms the base. The base part and / or the extendable part can, for example, serve as a support for at least one loudspeaker and / or at least one microphone and / or other electronic devices. Alternatively or additionally, the arm can, for example, in the second position also serve as a support for the head of the seat occupant. In a non-use position, for example, the base part is arranged in the first position and the extendable part is arranged approximately vertically in the primary position. In a use position, the base part is pivoted forward by approximately 90° with respect to the first position into the second position. The term “front” refers to the sagittal plane of a seat occupant sitting in a vehicle seat equipped with a headrest.
[0023] According to one embodiment, the equipment part is an armrest, and the pivoting device is an armrest that can be pivoted relative to the base. The armrest is arranged approximately vertically in the first position, for example, whereby the term "vertical" within the meaning of the invention includes deviations of up to 20° from a vertical. During the pivoting movement of the armrest from the first position to the second position, the extension part of the armrest moves from the primary position to the secondary position, whereby the length of the armrest increases relative to the primary position.
[0024] Embodiments of the invention are described by way of example in the following description of the figures, also with reference to the drawings. For the sake of clarity, identical or comparable parts, elements, or regions are designated by identical reference numerals, sometimes with the addition of lowercase letters, even where different embodiments are concerned.
[0025] Features described only with reference to one embodiment may also be provided in any other embodiment of the invention within the scope of the invention. Such modified embodiments are encompassed by the invention, even if they are not shown in the drawings.
[0026] All disclosed features are essential to the invention in themselves. The disclosure of the application hereby fully incorporates the disclosure content of the associated priority documents (copy of the prior application), as well as the cited publications and the described prior art devices, also for the purpose of incorporating individual or multiple features of these documents into one or more claims of the present application.
[0027] They show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of an equipment part in the form of a headrest with a headrest part with a pivoting device in the form of an audio wing, which is arranged in the first position, which is a non-use position, Fig. 2 a representation according to Fig. 1, wherein the pivoting device is arranged in the second position, which is a use position, Fig. 3 a perspective rear view of the head unit, with a rear cover not shown for the sake of clarity, Fig. 4 a side view of the headrest according to Fig. 1, Fig. 5 a side view according to Fig. 4, wherein the pivoting device is arranged in an intermediate position, Fig. 6 a side view according to Fig. 4, wherein the pivoting device is arranged in the second position, Fig. 7 a sectional view according to section line B - B in Fig. 3, Fig. 8 is a sectional view with the pivoting device in an intermediate position, Fig. 9 a sectional view based on Fig. 7, wherein the pivoting device is in the second position.
[0028] In Fig. 1 shows an equipment part 10 in the form of a headrest. A base 12 of the headrest is mounted on support rods 13a and 13b, which can be attached to the backrest of a vehicle seat (not shown). A headrest surface 14 is formed on the base 12.
[0029] In the present embodiment, the equipment part 10 is provided with pivoting devices 11a and 11b, which are formed on opposite side regions 20a and 20b. Fig. 1 only a pivoting device 11b is visible. The pivoting device 11a is only Fig. 3. Nevertheless, the pivoting device 11a essentially corresponds to the pivoting device 11b described here.
[0030] The pivoting devices 11a and 11b comprise an arm 24 which is pivotally mounted on the base part 12 of the equipment part 10 about a pivot axis a. The arm 24 is arranged between a Fig. 1 shown first position and one in Fig. 2. The swivel angle is approximately 90°.
[0031] The pivoting device 11a and 11b has audio components, such as loudspeakers and / or microphones, which are intended to be moved into a position in front of the head support surface 14 of the base part 12 with respect to a direction x1 for advantageous sound and, if applicable, advantageous recording of speech. In addition, a translational relative movement of the extending part 16 relative to the base part 15 takes place synchronously with the pivoting movement, such that the extending part 16 and the base part 15 are in a nested arrangement in the first position and in an extended arrangement in the second position.
[0032] In the extended configuration, the arm 24 has a length L2. In the nested configuration, the arm has a shorter length L1 than in the extended configuration. When the audio functions are not required, the seat occupant's freedom of movement and visibility should not be impaired.
[0033] The arm 24 comprises a base part 15 and an extension part 16 which is translationally movable relative to the base part 15 in the directions p1 and p2. A carrier 17 is held on the extension part 16, which carrier encloses the audio components in a manner not shown.
[0034] A guide device 30 comprises first guide means 25 of the base part 15 and second guide means 26 of the extension part 16. The first guide means 25 interact with the second guide means 26 of the extension part 16 such that the extension part 16 is movable in the directions p1 and p2. The directions p1 and p2 refer to a movement of the extension part 16 relative to the base part 15.
[0035] The guide means 25 and 26 are designed, for example, such that the extension part 16 is only free to move relative to the base part 15 in the directions p1 and p2. In the present case, this is a so-called dovetail guide, with side regions of the guide means 26 being guided in grooves 27 of a guide track of the guide means 25.
[0036] The base part 15 is held on a holder 18, which is attached to a rotation axis 19. The rotation axis 19 is connected to a drive axis 28 of a motor 23 (see Fig. 3), which is mounted on the base part 12. The motor 23 can drive the rotational axis 19—as in the present embodiment—for example, in two different directions of rotation, u1 and u2. Alternatively, the direction of rotation can be reversed by means of a gear mechanism interposed between the holder 18 and the rotational axis 19. The motor 23 can also have a gear mechanism for varying its output speed.
[0037] On both side regions 20a and 20b of the base 12, a first holding surface 21 in the form of a toothed gear is immovably connected to the base 12. The toothing of the first holding surface 21 engages with a toothed rail forming the second holding surface 22. The second holding surface 22 is firmly connected to the extension part 16 or is formed integrally therewith.
[0038] A movement of the arm 24 about the rotation axis a from the first position according to the Fig. 4 and Fig. 7 in direction u1 causes a movement of the extension part 16 relative to the base part 15 in direction p1. In the first position, the arm 24 has a length L1. When the arm 24 has reached the second position (see Fig. 6 and Fig. 9), the extension part 16 is extended to its maximum and has the length L2.
[0039] In the present embodiment, the first position is a vertical position, i.e., a central axis m of the base part 15 is arranged approximately vertically. The term "vertical" within the meaning of the invention includes the vertical as well as deviations of the position of the base part of up to 20° from the vertical in both directions of rotation. In the present example, the first position is a non-use position.
[0040] In the second position, the base part 15 is pivoted approximately 90° relative to the first position. In the present example, the second position is a horizontal position, meaning that the central axis m of the base part 15 is arranged approximately horizontally. The term "horizontal," as used herein, includes the horizontal as well as deviations of the base part's position of up to 20° from the horizontal in both directions of rotation. In the present example, the second position is a use position.
[0041] The arm 24 is driven in the reverse direction by the motor 23 to rotate it in the direction u2 from the second position to the first position. During this movement, the extension part 16 is moved relative to the base part 15 in the direction p2.
[0042] In the Fig. 6 to 9 it can be seen that in all positions of the base part 15, the second holding surface 22 of the extending part 16 is arranged between a guide surface 29 of the base part 15 and the first holding surface 21 such that the first holding surface 21 and the second holding surface 22 are always in engagement. Since in this exemplary embodiment the first holding surface 21 and the second holding surface 22 comprise cooperating toothings, a clearance fit, for example, is sufficient. If, alternatively, instead of the toothings, the first holding surface 21 and the second holding surface 22 have friction surfaces, an interference fit, for example, should be selected.
[0043] In the Fig. 7 to 9 are the positions of the Fig. 4 to 6, with the pivoting device 20b shown in section. The drive axis 28 and the rotation axis 19 are visible.
[0044] As an alternative to the embodiment described here, the equipment part 10 could also have only a pivoting device with an arm 24 comprising a base part 15 and an extension part 16. 10 Equipment part 11 Swivel part a, b 12 Base 13 Handrail a, b 14 Head contact surface 15 Basic part 16 Extendable section 17 carriers 18 holders 19 axis of rotation 20 page area a, b 21 First holding area 22 Second holding surface 23 Engine 24 arms 25 guide tools (15) 26 guide means (16) 27 groove (15) 28 Drive axle 29 Guide surface 30 Guide device u1 / 2 direction of rotation z1 / 2 direction x1 / 2 direction a rotation axis p1 / 2 direction (15 / 16) m central axis L1 / 2 length (24)
