Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a braking device for an electric rotary seat, and more particularly, to a braking device for an electric rotary seat capable of improving operational stability and restraining generation of operational noise by not allowing play in a rotational direction during operation of the rotary seat. [General state of the art]

[0002] With the improvement of eco-friendly, intelligent, and autonomous driving technologies, the trend in vehicle seats is also changing, allowing various other activities to be performed in addition to driving. In particular, the demand for a consumer-friendly layout of free space through rotating seats to create a comfortable vehicle interior is becoming increasingly louder, and the rotating seat was developed with this in mind.

[0003] Furthermore, having a user manually rotate a swivel seat in a vehicle is not user-friendly, thus limiting usability and comfort. Therefore, there is a growing need to develop a power-driven swivel seat that allows a user to rotate the seat to a desired position before or after entering the vehicle.

[0004] However, in a conventional rotary seat electric drive device, a pinion gear is installed on the input side of a motor, and a ring gear on the output side is mounted on a rotating plate. The problem is that excessive flow or noise is generated in the rotation direction due to clearance between gears, since the assembly of each gear depends on the dimensional accuracy of the connecting components.

[0005] In particular, a play between the input-side pinion gear and the output-side gear ring, which is caused by external vibrations and a load acting on the swivel seat, represents a significant limitation for the provision of a comfortable seating feeling. [Prior art document][Patent document]

[0009] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the braking device of an electric rotary joint may further include: a worm shaft that receives rotational torque from a drive motor for rotating the release block; and a worm wheel that reduces and transmits the rotational speed provided by the drive motor between the worm shaft and the release block.

[0010] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the worm wheel may include a pinion gear engageable with a drive gear portion of the unlocking block via a tooth, and the worm wheel and the pinion gear may be installed coaxially with a shaft member.

[0011] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the unlocking block may include: a drive projection extending in an axial direction to a wedge space between the brake wedge and the brake ring and formed integrally with the drive gear portion.

[0012] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the brake wedge may include: an inclined surface portion formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be able to come into contact with or not come into contact with the brake roller; and a driven projection formed so as to be able to come into contact with the driving projection.

[0013] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the inclined surface portion may include: a contact surface portion that comes into contact with the brake roller to restrict rotation of the brake wedge; a non-contact surface portion that does not come into contact with the brake roller to allow rotation of the brake wedge.

[0014] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the brake ring may be configured to form a wedge space between the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring and the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge.

[0015] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the brake device of an electric rotary joint may further include: a housing installed below the release block, and the housing may be configured to accommodate the worm shaft, the worm wheel, the release block, the brake wedge, the brake ring, the brake roller, and the brake spring therein. [Beneficial effect]

[0016] The brake device of the electric swivel seat according to the embodiment of the present disclosure can reduce the overall weight of the swivel seat and significantly reduce the manufacturing cost of the swivel seat by applying a structure having a reduction mechanism to a brake unit that restricts or allows the rotational force applied by a drive unit to an unlocking block to release the lock caused by a brake roller installed in a wedge space between a brake wedge and a brake ring.

[0017] Furthermore, in the brake device for the electric rotary seat according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, there is no play in the rotation direction when the rotary seat is operated, so that not only the stability of the operation can be improved but also the generation of operation noise can be restrained. [0018] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0019] With reference to the Fig. 1 to 3, the electric swivel seat 1 to which the embodiment of the present disclosure is applied is configured to include a fixed frame 2 installed on a floor panel in a vehicle interior, a rotating frame 3 installed rotatably with respect to the fixed frame 2, and a guide frame 4 installed between the fixed frame 2 and the rotating frame 3 to be locked with the rotating frame 3. In this case, bearing members are installed between the fixed frame 2 and the guide frame 4, and between the guide frame 4 and the rotating frame 3.

[0020] With reference to the Fig. 4 to 7, the electric swivel seat 1 is further configured to include a drive unit 10 installed in the fixed frame 2, a reduction unit 20 that appropriately decelerates the rotational torque outputted from the drive unit 10 and outputs a rotational speed, and a braking unit 30 that receives the rotational force of the drive unit 10 decelerated by the reduction unit 20 and restricts or permits rotation of the rotating frame 3 with respect to the fixed frame 2.

[0021] The drive unit 10 includes a drive motor 11 that rotates by externally supplied operating power, and a worm shaft 12 that is installed on a rotation shaft of the drive motor 11 and rotates together with it. In this case, the drive motor 11 is installed such that its position is fixed by a support bracket 40 attached to a bottom surface of the fixed frame 2.

[0022] The reduction unit 20 includes a worm gear 21 installed to mesh with the worm shaft 12, a shaft member 22 supporting the worm gear 21 so as to be rotatable, and a pinion gear 23 installed to rotate relative to the shaft member 22. That is, in the reduction unit 20, the worm gear 21 and the pinion gear 23 are arranged coaxially with the shaft member 22 and rotate together at the same speed.

[0023] The brake unit 30 has a structure with a reduction part and is installed such that its position with respect to a bottom of the fixed frame 2 is fixed via the support bracket 40, and is configured to receive a rotational torque decelerated by the reduction unit 20 and provided from the drive unit 10 and to restrict or permit the rotation of the rotating frame 3 with respect to the fixed frame 2 via the decelerated rotational torque.

[0024] For this purpose, the brake unit 30 is configured to include an unlocking block 310 that receives the rotational force output from the pinion gear 23 of the reduction unit 20 to rotate, a brake wedge 320 that rotates in conjunction with the rotation of the unlocking block 310 and forms a wedge space with an inclined structure on an outer peripheral surface thereof, and a brake ring 330 that has an inner peripheral surface spaced radially outward to close the wedge space formed between an outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320 and an inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330, and a brake roller 340 and a brake spring 350 that are installed in the wedge space formed between the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320 and an inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330 to allow the rotation of the unlocking block 310 to be transmitted to the brake wedge 320 is transferred.

[0025] The unlocking block 310 is a member that rotates by the rotational force provided by the reduction unit 20, and includes a drive gear portion 312 that is externally connected to the pinion gear 23 of the reduction unit 20 and installed to be toothed, and a drive projection 314 that is integrally formed with the drive gear portion 312 and extends in an axial direction to the wedge space between the brake wedge 320 and the brake ring 330.

[0026] In this case, the drive protrusion 314 is provided so as to be radially spaced from a center of a member, and is provided at a position and quantity that can be adjusted to the positions and quantities of the brake roller 340 and the brake spring 350, respectively. That is, the drive protrusion 314 is formed in a plurality in a radial arrangement over the entire circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the unlocking block 310.

[0027] In particular, the brake roller 340 and the brake spring 350 are arranged on both sides of the drive projection 314 between a driven projection 322 of the brake wedge 320.

[0028] At this time, the outer peripheral surface of the drive projection 314 is installed in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330. Accordingly, the concentricity between the unlocking block 310 and the brake ring 330 can always be maintained in the same state. The brake wedge 320 is a member of the electric rotary seat 1 connected to the rotary frame 3, which corresponds to a rotary rotation part and is rotatably installed. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the brake wedge 320 is configured to be connected to the rotary frame 3 via the guide frame 4.

[0029] Furthermore, the brake wedge 320 includes a driven projection 322 that can be brought into contact with the driving projection 314 of the unlocking block 310. The driven projection 322 is arranged to be circumferentially spaced between the brake roller 340 and the brake spring 350 with respect to the driving projection 314 of the unlocking block 310. In this case, the driven projection 322 is arranged to be radially spaced from the center of the element, and is provided at a position and in a quantity that can be adapted to the positions and quantities of the driving projection 314 of the unlocking block 310. That is, the driven projection 322 is formed in a plurality of radially arranged portions over the entire circumference of the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320.

[0030] Specifically, the drive protrusion 314 is disposed in a single number between a pair of adjacent driven protrusions 322. That is, the drive protrusion 314 is configured to be disposed in a single number between the driven protrusions 322 of the brake wedge 320.

[0031] At this time, the outer peripheral surface of the driven projection 322 is installed in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330. Accordingly, the concentricity between the brake wedge 320 and the brake ring 330 can always be maintained in the same state.

[0032] Furthermore, on the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320, an inclined surface portion 324 is continuously provided between the brake wedge 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330, so as to be in contact with the brake roller 340 or not, so as to restrict or allow rotation of the brake wedge 320. The inclined surface portion 324 provided on the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320, together with the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330, forms a wedge space portion. In this case, the inclined surface portion 324 is configured to be positioned between two adjacent driven projections 322.

[0033] That is, the inclined surface portion 324 consists of a contact surface portion that comes into contact with the brake roller 340 to restrict rotation with respect to the brake wedge 320, and a non-contact surface that does not come into contact with the brake roller 340 to allow rotation with respect to the brake wedge 320. In this case, the contact surface portion functions to forcibly restrict the rotation of the brake wedge 320 between an outer peripheral surface of the inclined surface portion 324 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330 by contacting an outer peripheral surface of the brake roller 340. In addition, the non-contact surface portion functions to freely allow the rotation of the brake wedge 320 between the outer peripheral surface of the inclined surface portion 324 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330 by non-contacting the outer peripheral surface of the brake roller 340.

[0034] In summary, the inclined surface portion 324 consists of the contact surface portion that forcibly restricts the rotation of the brake wedge 320 between the inclined surface portion 324 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330 by contact with the outer peripheral surface of the brake roller 340, and the non-contact surface portion that freely allows the rotation of the brake wedge 320 therebetween by non-contact with the outer peripheral surface of the brake roller 340.

[0035] In addition, the brake wedge 320, as in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, is provided with a fixing bolt B inserted into a through hole for coupling with the guide frame 4, and the guide frame 4 is provided with a through hole 4a for screwing through the fixing bolt B. In this case, the fixing bolts B and the through holes 4a are each provided in a plurality and are configured to be radially spaced and arranged at corresponding positions with respect to the centers of the brake wedge 320 and the guide frame 4, respectively.

[0036] In addition, as in Fig.3, the guide frame 4 is provided with the fixing bolt B inserted into a through hole for coupling with the rotating frame 3, and the rotating frame 3 is provided with a through hole 3a for screw connection by the fixing bolt B. In this case, the fixing bolt B and the through hole 3a are each provided in a plurality and are configured to be arranged at positions each radially spaced with respect to the centers of the guide frame 4 and the rotating frame 3.

[0037] The brake ring 330 is a member fixedly installed to be fixed to the mounting bracket 40 fixed in the fixed frame 2, which corresponds to a rotary fixing part in the electric rotary seat 1, and is configured to form a wedge space between its inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the brake wedge 320.

[0038] The brake roller 340 is a member installed together with the brake spring 350 in the wedge space formed between the outer peripheral surface of the inclined surface portion 324 of the brake wedge 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330.

[0039] In addition, the brake roller 340 is positioned on the contact surface portion of the inclined surface portion 324 by an elastic force provided by the brake spring 350 in a state where the drive unit 10 is not operated, thereby restricting the rotation of the brake wedge 320.

[0040] In addition, the brake roller 340 is compressed by contact with the drive projection 314 of the unlocking block 310 and moved to the non-contact surface portion of the inclined surface portion 324 in a state where the drive unit 10 is operated, thereby enabling the rotation of the brake wedge 320.

[0041] The brake spring 350 is a member that provides elastic force to the brake roller 340 in the wedge space positioned between the outer peripheral surface of the inclined surface portion 324 of the brake wedge 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the brake ring 330.

[0042] In this case, the brake spring 350 is configured such that one side thereof is disposed at a position in contact with the driven projection 322 of the brake wedge 320 within the wedge space, and another side is disposed at a position in contact with the brake roller 340 within the wedge space.

[0043] Furthermore, the brake spring 350 may be made of an elastic material such as an elastomer. However, it should be noted that the brake spring 350 may be a metal spring and is not limited to an elastic material such as an elastomer, which is elastic with respect to the material or shape of the constituent material, if the brake spring 350, as illustrated in the embodiment of the present disclosure, can provide an elastic force to the brake roller 340.

[0044] On the other hand, the cover plate 360 is separately installed on top of the brake ring 330, and the cover plate 360 plays a role in artificially limiting the outward deviation of the brake roller 340 and the brake spring 350 installed within the wedge space.

[0045] Since the housing 370 is installed separately below the release block 310, the housing 370 also serves to artificially limit the external deflection of the brake roller 340 and the brake spring 350 installed in the wedge space. For this purpose, the housing 370 is configured to separately form spaces in which the worm shaft 12 constituting the drive unit 10, the worm gear 21 and the pinion gear 23 constituting the reduction unit 20, and the release block 310, the brake wedge 320, the brake ring 330, the brake roller 340, and the brake spring 350 constituting the brake unit 30 can be housed, respectively.

[0046] Thus, the brake device for the electric rotary seat 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, which is configured as described above to release the lock with respect to the brake roller 340 installed in the wedge space formed between the brake wedge 320 and the brake ring 330, by applying a structure having a reduction part to the brake unit 30, which is configured to restrict or allow the rotational force applied from the drive unit 10 to the release block 310, can not only significantly reduce the cost of manufacturing the rotary seat 1 along with reducing the overall weight of the rotary seat 1, but also eliminate the backlash generated in the rotation direction when the rotary seat 1 is operated.

[0047] Furthermore, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, it is possible not only to improve the stability of operation but also to minimize the generation of operating noise because there is no play in the rotation direction during the operation of the rotary seat 1.
