Abstract
Description
Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to a hair clip with which hairs of different lengths, densities and quantities can be clipped together. State of the art
[0002] Hair clips of this type have two opposing clip bodies with teeth on the lower part of the clip, and two opposing handles on the upper part of the clip bodies. Both clip bodies are pivotally connected via a hinge pin and feature a torsion spring as a pressure element for pressing the clip bodies together. In utility model DE 20 2023 100 044 U1, for example, the hair clip has two handles that are attached to the sides of the clip bodies via their own pivot axes. This offers the advantage of allowing the handles to be folded down on the sides, but has the disadvantage of exerting a relatively high force on the mechanism of the handles when operated, which increases the risk of breakage and reduces the lifespan of the hair clip.Hair clips of this type are known from the publications DE 10 2018 111 910 A1, DE 20 2023 102 494 U1, DE 20 2017 103 753 U1, US 2008 / 0 156 342 A1 and US 2008 / 0 216 861 A1. Object of the invention
[0003] The invention is based on the objective of developing a mechanism that requires less force to act on the joint components of the clip bodies and the foldable handles. The hair clip should, in total, require only one pivot axis, along which all force is redirected. The serrations on the contact surfaces of the drive discs of the joint components on the handles and clip bodies should allow the handles to be held in various and individually adjustable positions. Technical solution
[0004] This problem is solved according to the invention by a hair clip with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims. The hair clip described in this invention corresponds in its construction to the principle of a hair clip with two clip bodies and two handle bodies, in which pressing the handle bodies together enables the clip bodies to open, thus allowing hair to be clamped together in different ways between the clip bodies, and the handle bodies to then be folded against the sides. Characterization of the invention
[0005] In its first embodiment, the hair clip is characterized by the fact that the mechanism in the area of the joint parts requires less force to act on the joint parts when the handle parts are operated, because the torques are applied directly to the joint parts via the drive discs, wherein the joint parts of the clip bodies and handle bodies are each constructed symmetrically and interlocking with each other as a kind of drive disc, whereby the force redirection for the handle bodies and the clip bodies in total for the hair clip requires only one joint axis.
[0006] In a second embodiment, the hair clip is characterized in that the handle bodies can be held in various individually adjustable positions by means of knurling on the drive discs in the joint parts of the clip bodies and in the handle bodies, wherein the number and design of the knurling can be arranged on different drive discs of opposing joint parts.
