Description

[0001] The invention relates to a line device for a motor vehicle, in particular for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, according to the preamble of patent claim 1. Furthermore, the invention relates to an internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle.

[0002] DE 198 58 634 A1 discloses a flexible hose, particularly for an exhaust pipe of an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle, comprising a corrugated bellows, an outer braid, and two end sleeves. Furthermore, EP 0 807 749 B1 discloses an exhaust system for a vehicle body and a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine and defining a longitudinal direction.

[0003] DE 102 01 801 A1 and DE 10 2012 200 396 A1, considered individually, each disclose a conduit device for a motor vehicle, comprising a conduit element through which a fluid can flow and which has a corrugated bellows in at least one longitudinal region. The corrugated bellows is arranged in a damping device arranged outside the corrugated bellows, which has two damping elements arranged at least partially within one another, which are movable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element and rub against one another during relative movements occurring between the damping elements in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element, thereby damping vibrations of the corrugated bellows.

[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide a line device for a motor vehicle and an internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle, so that excessive wear of the line device can be avoided.

[0005] This object is achieved by a conduit device having the features of patent claim 1 and by an internal combustion engine having the features of patent claim 9. Advantageous embodiments with expedient further developments of the invention are specified in the remaining claims.

[0006] A first aspect of the invention relates to a conduit device for a motor vehicle, also simply referred to as a vehicle, in particular for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The conduit device has a conduit element through which a fluid can flow, which has a corrugated bellows, also referred to as a corrugated bellows or a folding bellows, in at least one length region of the conduit element. The corrugated bellows can be formed from a plastic or a metallic material, in particular from a steel and very particularly from a stainless steel. In particular, it is conceivable for the conduit element and thus the corrugated bellows to be formed from a plastic or a metallic material, in particular from a steel and very particularly from a stainless steel. As is well known from the general state of the art, the corrugated bellows, also referred to as a corrugated bellows or bellows, is an accordion-like extending, in particular accordion-like folded, area which can be pulled apart non-destructively and thus without causing damage to the line element, increasing the length of the line element, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element, and can be compressed or shrunk, shortening the length of the line element, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element, whereby, for example, a temperature- and / or movement-related change in length of the line element and / or positional tolerances can be compensated. For example, the fluid can flow through the line element and thus the corrugated bellows in the longitudinal direction of the line element, so that, for example, during operation of the motor vehicle, the fluid flows along or in the longitudinal direction through the line element and thus through the corrugated bellows. In other words, the fluid can flow through the line element and thus the corrugated bellows along or in a flow direction, so that during the aforementioned operation of the motor vehicle, the fluid flows in the flow direction of the line element and thus through the corrugated bellows. The flow direction coincides with the longitudinal direction of the line element and thus of the corrugated bellows.

[0007] For example, if two components are fluidically connected to one another via the conduit element, so that the fluid can be guided via the conduit element from one of the components to the other of the components and / or vice versa, the bellows can compensate for relative movements between the components. Thus, the bellows allows, for example, longitudinal sections of the conduit element to move relative to one another, particularly in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element, and thus to carry out the relative movements between the components. The bellows (corrugated bellows) is arranged between the longitudinal sections, in particular in the direction of fluid flow and thus in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element.

[0008] In order to be able to avoid excessive wear of the line element and thus of the line device in a particularly space-efficient manner, it is provided that the corrugated bellows is arranged, and thus received, in a damping device that is arranged, in particular, completely outside the corrugated bellows, in particular outside the line element and very particularly completely outside the line element. Very preferably, it is provided that the damping device is designed separately from the line element and thus separately from the corrugated bellows. The damping device has at least or exactly two damping elements that are arranged at least partially inside one another and are preferably designed separately from one another. In particular, the respective damping element is designed separately from the line element and thus separately from the corrugated bellows. The damping elements are movable relative to one another, in particular at least or exclusively transitorily, in the longitudinal direction of the line element. During relative movements between the damping elements in the longitudinal direction of the line element, the damping elements rub against one another, in particular directly, thereby damping or damping vibrations of the corrugated bellows. In other words, the damping elements are movable relative to one another, in particular at least or exclusively transitorily, along a direction of movement, the direction of movement extending in the longitudinal direction of the line element and thus of the corrugated bellows. In particular, the direction of movement thus runs parallel to the longitudinal direction of the line element, or the direction of movement coincides with the longitudinal direction of the line element.

[0009] If, for example, relative movements occur between the aforementioned length regions of the line element, in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element, wherein these relative movements between the length regions of the line element result, for example, from relative movements between the aforementioned components, then these relative movements between the length regions of the line element cause, for example, relative movements occurring in the longitudinal direction of the line element between areas of the corrugated bellows and / or the aforementioned relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element between the length regions of the line element are accompanied by relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element between the areas of the corrugated bellows. In particular, the regions of the corrugated bellows are arranged consecutively, i.e., one after the other, in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element and thus in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the conduit element. The relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element between the longitudinal regions of the conduit element, or the relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the conduit element between the regions of the corrugated bellows, lead to or cause relative movements occurring along the direction of movement between the damping elements, which thereby rub against one another, in particular directly. This creates friction between the damping elements, by means of which the relative movements between the damping elements and consequently the relative movements between the regions of the corrugated bellows and the relative movements between the longitudinal regions of the line element are effectively and efficiently dampened. Since the damping elements are at least partially arranged one inside the other, and since the corrugated bellows is arranged in the damping device, i.e. in the damping elements, a particularly compact design of the line device can be realized. Since the damping elements are at least partially arranged one inside the other and can be moved relative to one another along the direction of movement, in particular at least or exclusively transitorily, in particular can be displaced relative to one another, the damping elements are thus arranged one inside the other, for example, telescopically or telescopically. This means that the damping elements can move, in particular shift, relative to each other in a direction of movement, resulting in the aforementioned friction between the damping elements. This effectively and efficiently dampens the relative movements between the damping elements and the resulting vibrations of the bellows. This prevents excessive vibrations of the bellows, effectively preventing excessive wear on the bellows and thus on the line element and the line system.

[0010] In particular, it is provided that the damping device is linked to the line element, i.e. is connected to the line element. As a result, for example, the relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element between the longitudinal regions of the line element and / or the relative movements occurring in particular in the longitudinal direction of the line element between the regions of the corrugated bellows lead to the relative movements occurring along the directions of movement and thus the longitudinal direction of the line element between the damping elements, as a result of which the damping elements rub against one another, in particular directly. In this case, it is provided in particular that the damping device is linked to the longitudinal regions of the line element and / or to the regions of the corrugated bellows, i.e. is connected to the longitudinal regions of the line element and / or to the regions of the corrugated bellows.

[0011] Since the corrugated bellows is arranged in the damping device, for example, a first part of the corrugated bellows is arranged in a first of the damping elements and a second part of the corrugated bellows is arranged in a second of the damping elements, wherein the first part of the corrugated bellows and the second part of the corrugated bellows follow one another in the longitudinal direction of the line element and thus in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the line element, so that they are arranged consecutively and thus one after the other. In particular, it is conceivable for the first part of the corrugated bellows to be arranged outside the second damping element and the second part of the corrugated bellows to be arranged outside the first damping element. It is conceivable that in the longitudinal direction of the line element and thus in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the line element and thus the corrugated bellows, a third part of the corrugated bellows is arranged between the first part of the corrugated bellows and the second part of the corrugated bellows, which third part is arranged both in the first damping element and in the second damping element, for example because the damping elements are arranged at least or partially one inside the other.

[0012] In order to dampen vibrations of the corrugated bellows particularly advantageously and thus particularly effectively prevent excessive wear of the conduit device, the invention provides that the first damping element is connected to the conduit element at a first connection point arranged upstream of the corrugated bellows in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the conduit element and thus through the corrugated bellows, thus being connected to the conduit element. Furthermore, it is provided that the second damping element is connected to the conduit element at a second connection point arranged downstream of the corrugated bellows in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the conduit element and thus through the corrugated bellows, thus being connected to the conduit element. In particular, it is provided that a first of the aforementioned length ranges of the line element has the first connection point and a second of the aforementioned length ranges of the line element has the second connection point, wherein the corrugated bellows is arranged, in particular in the flow direction of the fluid flowing through the line element and thus the corrugated bellows, between the first length range and the second length range. As a result, for example, the damping elements can also carry out relative movements, in particular transitory, between the line elements in the longitudinal direction of the line element, in particular such that the damping elements move at least or exclusively transitorily relative to one another along the direction of movement. As a result, the damping elements rub against each other, particularly directly, thereby advantageously damping the relative movements between the damping elements and, consequently, the relative movements between the length regions. Since the relative movements between length regions lead to the relative movements between the regions of the corrugated bellows, particularly such that the regions of the corrugated bellows move relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the line element, the fact that the damping elements rub against each other, particularly directly, also advantageously damps the relative movements between the regions of the corrugated bellows and thus the vibration. This can prevent excessive wear on the line device.

[0013] One embodiment is characterized in that the first inner damping element is at least partially arranged within the second outer damping element. This allows the damping elements to rub against each other particularly advantageously, thereby advantageously preventing vibration of the bellows.

[0014] A further advantage of the invention is that, by arranging the bellows within the damping elements, lateral vibrations of the bellows, i.e., vibrations of the bellows that occur in a direction oblique or perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the line element, can be avoided or at least advantageously minimized. Alternatively or additionally, by arranging the bellows within the damping elements, wobbling can be avoided or at least advantageously limited.

[0015] Preferably, the corrugated bellows is arranged entirely within the damping elements. This particularly means the following: The damping elements form a damping unit, wherein the corrugated bellows is accommodated, in particular entirely, in the damping unit, i.e., within the damping unit. The damping unit has, for example, a receptacle in which the corrugated bellows is accommodated, preferably entirely. The receptacle is formed partially by the first damping element and partially by the second damping element, i.e., is delimited, in particular, directly.

[0016] In a further, particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the inner damping element has an outer peripheral surface facing away from the corrugated bellows. The outer damping element has an inner peripheral surface facing the corrugated bellows. In particular, at least a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the inner damping element faces at least a portion of the inner peripheral surface of the outer damping element, so that at least the portion of the inner peripheral surface of the outer damping element faces at least partially the outer peripheral surface of the inner damping element.During the relative movements between the damping elements in the longitudinal direction of the line element, the outer peripheral surface of the inner damping element and the inner peripheral surface of the outer damping element rub against each other, particularly directly, thereby damping vibrations of the bellows. This allows for particularly effective and efficient damping of the bellows.

[0017] In order to dampen vibrations of the corrugated bellows particularly effectively and efficiently, a further embodiment of the invention provides for the outer peripheral surface of the inner damping element to be cylindrical, thus having the shape of a right circular cylinder. It has proven particularly advantageous if the inner peripheral surface of the outer damping element is cylindrical, thus having the shape of a right circular cylinder. This allows the surfaces to rub against each other over a particularly large area, whereby the relative movements between the damping elements and, consequently, the vibrations of the corrugated bellows can be damped effectively and efficiently.

[0018] In order to be able to realize a particularly advantageous, high friction between the damping elements so that the vibrations of the bellows can be damped effectively and efficiently, it is provided in a further embodiment of the invention that the respective damping element is formed from a plastic.

[0019] A further embodiment is characterized in that at least the respective outer surface is formed from the plastic, whereby a particularly high level of friction can be achieved between the outer surfaces. It is conceivable for the damping elements or the outer surfaces to be made from the same plastic. Furthermore, it is conceivable for the inner damping element or its outer peripheral surface to be made from a first plastic, and for the outer damping element or its inner peripheral surface to be made from a second plastic that is different from the first plastic. This allows a particularly high level of friction to be achieved between the damping elements or the outer surfaces, whereby the vibrations of the corrugated bellows can be dampened effectively and efficiently. As a result, excessive wear on the line device can be avoided.

[0020] It has proven particularly advantageous if the conduit element is designed as an exhaust line through which the fluid can flow as an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine, also referred to as an internal combustion engine or combustion motor. In other words, the fluid is preferably the aforementioned exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine.

[0021] Finally, it has proven particularly advantageous if the line element is designed as a liquid line through which the fluid in the form of oil or at least comprising water can flow.

[0022] A second aspect of the invention relates to an internal combustion engine, also referred to as an internal combustion engine or combustion engine, for a motor vehicle, also referred to simply as a vehicle and preferably designed as a motor vehicle, in particular as a passenger car. This means that the motor vehicle, in its fully manufactured state, has the internal combustion engine and can be driven by the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine has at least one line device according to the first aspect of the invention. Advantages and advantageous embodiments of the first aspect of the invention are to be regarded as advantages and advantageous embodiments of the second aspect of the invention, and vice versa.

[0023] The internal combustion engine has, for example, an exhaust gas turbocharger which has a turbine and a compressor. The turbine can be driven by the aforementioned exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine, which provides its exhaust gas during fired operation of the internal combustion engine. The compressor can be driven by the turbine, whereby air can be compressed by means of the compressor and can be introduced into at least one combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine. The line device is preferably used to supply the exhaust gas turbocharger with the fluid and / or to discharge the fluid from the exhaust gas turbocharger. If the fluid is, for example, an oil, the line element through which the oil can flow is used, for example, to supply the exhaust gas turbocharger with the oil and / or to discharge the oil from the exhaust gas turbocharger. For example, at least one lubrication point of the exhaust gas turbocharger is supplied with the oil, whereby the exhaust gas turbocharger can be lubricated and / or cooled at the lubrication point by means of the oil. If the fluid is, for example, a liquid comprising at least water, the line element is used, for example, to supply the exhaust gas turbocharger with the cooling liquid and / or to discharge the cooling liquid from the exhaust gas turbocharger. For example, at least a portion of the exhaust gas turbocharger is cooled by means of the cooling liquid. If, for example, the fluid is the exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine, the line element is used, for example, to conduct the exhaust gas to the exhaust gas turbocharger, in particular to the turbine, and / or to discharge the exhaust gas from the exhaust gas turbocharger, in particular from the turbine.

[0024] In order to be able to achieve a particularly high level of robustness, it is preferably provided that the corrugated bellows, in particular the line element and thus the corrugated bellows, is or are formed from a metallic material, in particular from a light metal or a light metal alloy or from a steel, in particular stainless steel.

[0025] Further advantages, features, and details of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment and from the drawings. The features and combinations of features mentioned above in the description, as well as the features and combinations of features mentioned below in the description of the figures and / or shown alone in the figures, can be used not only in the respective specified combinations, but also in other combinations or on their own, without departing from the scope of the invention.

[0026] The drawing shows: Fig. 1 a schematic representation of an internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle; Fig. 2 a schematic and sectional perspective view of a duct device of the internal combustion engine; and Fig. 3 shows a partial schematic longitudinal sectional view of the piping system.

[0027] In the figures, identical or functionally identical elements are provided with the same reference symbols.

[0028] Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of an internal combustion engine 10, also referred to as an internal combustion engine or combustion engine, for a motor vehicle, also simply referred to as a vehicle, which, in its fully manufactured state, has the internal combustion engine 10 and can be driven by the internal combustion engine 10. The internal combustion engine 10 is preferably designed as a reciprocating piston engine, thus as a reciprocating piston machine. The internal combustion engine 10 has an engine block 12, which has cylinders 14. Each cylinder 14 partially defines a respective combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine 10. During fired operation of the internal combustion engine 10, combustion processes take place in the respective combustion chamber. During each combustion process, a fuel-air mixture, also simply referred to as a mixture, is combusted, resulting in exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine 10.The respective mixture comprises at least air and, for example, a liquid fuel.

[0029] The internal combustion engine 10 has an intake tract 16, also referred to as the intake tract, through which the aforementioned air can flow, as indicated by an arrow 18. The air can be introduced into the respective combustion chamber via the intake tract 16. The internal combustion engine 10 also has an exhaust tract 20, through which the exhaust gas from the respective combustion chamber can flow, as indicated by an arrow 22. Thus, the exhaust gas can be discharged from the respective combustion chamber via the exhaust tract 20.

[0030] The internal combustion engine 10 has an exhaust gas turbocharger 24, which has a compressor 26 arranged in the intake tract 16 and a turbine 28 arranged in the exhaust tract 20. The turbine 28 is driven by the exhaust gas. The compressor 26 is driven by the turbine 28, in particular via a shaft 30 of the exhaust gas turbocharger 24. By driving the compressor 26, the air flowing through the intake tract 16 can be compressed by means of the compressor 26. In the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, at least a length region L1 of the exhaust tract 20 is Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 are formed. In other words, for example, the length range L1 of the exhaust tract 30 comprises the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, wherein the respective line element 32a-c can be flowed through by at least a respective part of the exhaust gas, in particular in or along a flow direction. Therefore, the respective line element 32a-c through which the respective exhaust gas can flow is also referred to as a pipe or exhaust pipe. The line elements 32a-c are part of a line device of the internal combustion engine 10. For example, the respective part of the respective exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 10 thus flows in the mentioned flow direction through the respective line element 32a-c during the fired operation of the internal combustion engine 10. The respective flow direction in which the exhaust gas flows through the respective line element 32a-c, in particular during the fired operation of the internal combustion engine 10, is shown in Fig. 2 by a respective arrow 35. It can be seen that the respective conduit element 32a-c can be flowed through by the respective portion of the exhaust gas along or in its respective longitudinal direction, or is flowed through during the fired operation of the internal combustion engine 10, so that the respective flow direction coincides with the respective longitudinal direction of the respective conduit element 32a-c. The respective conduit element 32a-c extends at least substantially elongatedly along its longitudinal direction.

[0031] Out of Fig. 2 that the respective line element 32a-c has, at least in a respective length range L2, L2', L2" of the respective line element 32a-c, a respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, which is also referred to as a corrugated bellows or folding bellows. Thus, the respective line element 32a-c and thus the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c can be flowed through by a respective fluid along or in the respective flow direction and thus along or in the respective longitudinal extension direction of the respective line element 32a-c. In the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, the fluid is the aforementioned exhaust gas from the respective combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine 10, so that the respective line element 32a-c and thus the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c can be flowed through by the respective part of the respective exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 10, in particular along or in the respective flow direction. For example, at least the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c is formed from a metallic material, which allows for a particularly high level of robustness of the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c. The metallic material is preferably steel, in particular stainless steel. In particular, the respective line element 32a-c as a whole, and thus the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, can be formed from the aforementioned metallic material in order to achieve a particularly high level of robustness.

[0032] In order to advantageously avoid excessive wear of the line device, a respective damping device 38a-c is assigned to the respective bellows 36a-c. The bellows 36a-c and damping device 38a-c can be particularly well made of Fig. 3. Since the respective arrow 35 illustrates the respective flow direction in which the respective part of the exhaust gas flows or can flow through the respective line element 32a-c and thus the respective bellows 36a-c, the respective arrow 35 also illustrates the respective longitudinal extension direction of the respective line element 32a-c.

[0033] Looks particularly good Fig. 3 shows that the respective bellows 36a-c, in particular completely, is arranged, i.e., received, in the respective damping device 38a-c assigned to the respective bellows 36a-c. The damping device 38a-c assigned to the respective bellows 36a-c is arranged outside the respective bellows 36a-c to which the respective damping device 38a-c is assigned. In particular, the damping devices 38a-c are arranged outside the corrugated bellows 36a-c, and the damping devices 38a-c are arranged in pairs outside each other.

[0034] The respective damping device 38a-c each has, in particular, exactly two damping elements, namely a respective first inner damping element 40 and a respective second outer damping element 42. The respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c are arranged at least or exclusively partially within one another. Furthermore, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c are movable relative to one another, at least translationally, in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c. During relative movements between the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c rub against each other, in particular directly, whereby vibrations of the corrugated bellows are to be damped or are damped.

[0035] The first, in this case inner, damping element 40 of the respective damping device 38a-c is connected at a first connection point V1 at least indirectly, in particular directly, to the respective line element 32a-c, thus connected to the respective line element 32a-c. The respective, in this case outer, second damping element 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c is connected at a respective second connection point V2 at least indirectly, in particular directly, to the respective line element 32a-c, i.e., connected to the respective line element 32a-c. Preferably, the damping elements 40 and 42 are formed separately from one another. Preferably, the respective damping element 40, 42 is formed separately from the line elements 32a-c and separately from the respective bellows 36a-c.In other embodiments, it is preferably provided that the respective damping device 38a-c is formed separately from the respective line element 32a-c and thus separately from the respective bellows 36a-c. In the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the line element 32a-c and thus in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c, the respective connection points V1 and V2 are arranged at a distance from one another. Furthermore, in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the line element 32a-c, the connection point V1 is arranged upstream of the respective bellows 36a-c, i.e., upstream of an accordion-like region TB of the respective sub-region TB.Furthermore, it is preferably provided that, in the flow direction of the respective exhaust gas flowing through the respective line element 32a-c, the respective second connection point V2 is arranged downstream of the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, i.e. downstream of the respective accordion-like region TB of the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c. In the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, it is provided that the respective connection point V1 is arranged upstream of the entire corrugated bellows 36a-c in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the respective line element 32a-c. Furthermore, in the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, it is provided that, in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the respective line element 32a-c, the respective second connection point V2 is arranged downstream of the entire respective corrugated bellows 36a-c.

[0036] Out of Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 it can be seen that the respective line element 32a-c has a respective second length range L3 and a respective third length range L4, wherein the respective length range L2 of the respective line element 32a-c and thus the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c is arranged in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the respective line element 32a-c and thus in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c between the respective length ranges L3 and L4 of the respective line element 32a-c. The respective length range L3, which in the present case is arranged or runs upstream of, in particular the entire, respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, has the respective connection point V1, and the respective length range L4, which is arranged or runs downstream of, in particular the entire, respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, for example, has the respective second connection point V2.For example, the respective length range L4 is connected to the turbine 28, in particular to a turbine housing of the turbine 28. For this purpose, for example, a... Fig. 2, a connecting flange 44 is provided, wherein the length regions L4 are mechanically and also fluidically connected to the connecting flange 44. For example, the length regions L4 are connected to the turbine 28, in particular to the turbine housing, via the connecting flange 44. For example, the respective length region L3 is connected to the engine block 12 or to an exhaust manifold connected to the engine block 12 and through which the exhaust gas can flow. For this purpose, for example, a second connecting flange 46 is provided. The length regions L3 are, for example, mechanically and preferably also fluidically connected to the connecting flange 46, wherein, for example, the length regions L3 are mechanically and preferably also fluidically connected to the engine block or to the exhaust manifold via the connecting flange 46.The engine block 12 or the exhaust manifold and the turbine 28 or the turbine housing are thus components that are fluidly connected to one another via the line elements 32a-c, so that, for example, the exhaust gas can be guided from the engine block 12 or the exhaust manifold to the turbine 28. The corrugated bellows 36a-c allow relative movements between the respective length ranges L3 and L4 of the respective line element 32a-c. Such relative movements between the respective length ranges L3 and L4 of the respective line element 32a-c occur, for example, as a result of relative movements between the components or the connecting flanges 44 and 46.Such relative movements between the respective length ranges L3 and L4 of the respective line element 32a-c lead, for example, to relative movements between the respective sub-ranges of the respective bellows 36a-c, which are arranged successively, for example, in the flow direction of the exhaust gas flowing through the respective line element 32a-c, the respective sub-ranges of which are also referred to as respective regions of the respective bellows 36a-c. By means of the respective damping device 38a-c, these relative movements of the respective regions of the respective bellows 36a-c, to which the respective damping device 38a-c is assigned, can now be damped, whereby vibrations of the respective bellows 36a-c can be damped. For this purpose, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c are movable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c and thus along a respective direction of movement coinciding with the respective longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c, in particular at least or exclusively translationally. The respective direction of movement is illustrated by a double arrow 48.During the respective relative movements between the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c, which take place in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c and thus along the respective direction of movement, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c rub against each other, in particular directly, whereby the respective vibrations of the respective regions of the respective bellows 36a-c, to which the respective damping device 38a-c is assigned, can be or are damped.Since the damping element 40 is connected to the respective line element 32a-c at the connection point V1 and the damping element 42 is connected to the respective line element 32a-c at the respective connection point V2, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 carry out the respective relative movements between the respective length regions L3 and L4 of the respective line element 32a-c, whereby the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c move relative to one another along the respective direction of movement, in particular at least or exclusively translationally. As a result, the damping elements 40 and 42 rub against one another, whereby the relative movements between the damping elements 40 and 42 and thus the relative movements between the respective regions of the respective bellows 36a-c are damped.Since the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c is accommodated, in particular completely, in the respective damping device 38a-c, thus in the respective damping elements 40 and 42, lateral vibration of the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, i.e., vibration occurring along an oblique or perpendicular direction to the respective longitudinal extension direction of the respective line element 32a-c, and / or wobbling of the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c can also be advantageously avoided. Thus, excessive wear of the corrugated bellows 36a-c and thus of the line device can be avoided.

[0037] Looks particularly good Fig. 3 that the first inner damping element 40 is arranged at least or exclusively partially in the second outer damping element 42. The respective inner damping element 40 has an outer peripheral surface M1 facing away from the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, which in this case is cylindrical and thus has the shape of a right circular cylinder. The respective outer damping element 42 has an inner peripheral surface M2 facing the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c, which in this case is cylindrical and thus has the shape of a right circular cylinder. Preferably, at least the respective outer surface M1, M2 is formed from a plastic. Very preferably, it is provided that the respective damping element 40, 42 is formed from a plastic.During the relative movements between the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c, which occur in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c and thus along the respective direction of movement, the respective lateral surfaces M1 and M2 rub directly against one another. This creates a particularly advantageous, in particular a particularly advantageously high, friction between the respective damping elements 40 and 42, whereby the vibrations of the respective bellows 36a-c can be effectively and efficiently damped. Thus, excessive wear of the line device can be avoided.

[0038] Out of Fig. 3 also shows that the respective damping device 38a-c has a respective receptacle A, wherein the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c is completely received in the respective receptacle A. The receptacle A is partially delimited, in particular directly, by the respective damping element 40 and partially by the respective damping element 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c. The respective damping element 40 has a respective inner circumferential surface M3 facing the respective corrugated bellows 36a-c.

[0039] Fig. 2 and Fig.3 shows the line device, for example, in a basic state, also referred to as the initial state, in which relative movements between the respective damping elements 40 and 42 are eliminated and the respective bellows 36a-c is, in particular, completely relaxed. In this initial state, a respective first part T1 of the respective damping element 40 is arranged in the respective damping element 42, wherein a respective second part T2 of the respective damping element 40 is arranged outside the damping element 42 in the initial state. The respective second part T2 adjoins the respective first part T1 along the respective longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c, in particular directly. The respective receptacle A is, at least in the initial state, partially and directly delimited by the respective inner circumferential surface M3 and partially and directly delimited by the respective inner circumferential surface M2, in particular directly delimited.

[0040] The respective line element 32a-c has, for example, at least or exactly two lines, namely a respective first line LE1 and a respective second line LE2. Preferably, the respective lines LE1 and LE2 of the respective line element 32a-c are formed separately from one another. For example, the respective line LE1, LE2 is formed from a metallic material. For example, the metallic material from which the respective line LE1, LE2 is formed is the same metallic material from which the respective bellows 36a-c is formed. For example, the respective lines LE1 and LE2 of the respective line element 32a-c are formed separately from the respective bellows 36a-c of the respective line element 32a-c, wherein the respective lines LE1 and LE2 of the respective line element 32a-c are mechanically and preferably also fluidically connected to the respective bellows 36a-c of the respective line element 32a-c.For this purpose, for example, the respective lines LE1 and LE2 of the respective line element 32a-c are soldered to the respective bellows 36a-c of the respective line element 32a-c. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the respective damping elements 40 and 42 of the respective damping device 38a-c are formed separately from the respective lines LE1 and LE2 of the respective line element 32a-c. It is conceivable that the respective damping element 40, 42 is connected to the respective line LE1, LE2 by soldering. In the present case, the respective line LE1 comprises or forms the respective length range L3 and thus the respective connection point V1. Furthermore, it is provided that in the present case the respective line LE2 forms or has the respective length range L4 and thus the respective second connection point V2.Thus, for example, the respective damping element 40 is connected at least indirectly, in particular directly, to the respective line LE1 at the respective connection point V1. Furthermore, in the present case, the respective damping element 42 is connected at least indirectly, in particular directly, to the respective line LE2 at the respective connection point V2.

[0041] It can also be seen that the respective damping device 38a-c is a respective cover for the respective bellows 36a-c, since the respective bellows 36a-c is arranged, in particular completely, in the respective damping device 38a-c.

[0042] The respective damping device 38a-c is a casing, also referred to as a jacket, sheath, or casing, which surrounds, i.e., encloses, the respective bellows 36a-c, in particular completely. In other words, the respective bellows 36a-c is arranged in the respective casing assigned to the respective bellows 36a-c. The respective casing is a respective casing tube, which is formed by the respective damping elements 40 and 42. Thus, for example, the respective damping element 40, 42 is a respective tube, in particular an individual tube or individual casing tube, of the respective casing tube. The respective casing tube surrounds or encloses the respective bellows 36a-c, in particular completely, whereby the corrugated bellows 36a-c can be protected from external influences such as contamination.Since the respective damping elements 40 and 42 are movable, in particular displaceable, relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c, the damping elements 40 and 42 allow the respective bellows 36a-c to be non-destructively deflected and shortened in the longitudinal direction of the respective line element 32a-c. However, the respective damping elements 40 and 42 can prevent the respective bellows 36a-c from bending or deforming beyond this limit. This reliably prevents excessive wear of the line device.
