Description

[0001] The invention relates to a coil device for wire winding material, in particular for welding wire winding material, with a base body from which a hub sleeve projects axially centrally, and with bearing elements for the winding material, which are linearly guided on the base body and adjustable in the radial direction by means of an adjusting device.

[0002] Such a coil device is known from DE 10 2013 012 064 B3. This known coil device has a disk-like base body, from the center of which a hub sleeve projects axially. First and second bearing elements are provided at equal distances along the circumference of the base body. These first and second bearing elements alternate in the circumferential direction and have eccentric pins. An eccentric disc is provided on the base body and is formed with spiral-shaped eccentric slots into which the eccentric pins project. The eccentric pins of the second bearing elements are designed as threaded pins onto which nut elements are screwed to fix the eccentric disc to the base body. To radially adjust the bearing elements, the nut elements must be loosened. This requires a corresponding amount of time and effort. The same applies to fixing the bearing elements.

[0003] The invention is based on the object of creating a coil device of the type mentioned at the outset which is of simple construction and in which the radial adjustment of the bearing elements is comparatively simple and time-saving.

[0004] This object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1, i.e. in that the adjusting device has adjusting lever elements, each bearing element being assigned a radially oriented adjusting lever element which is pivotally mounted with its radially outer, first end on the associated bearing element and whose radially inner, second end is pivotally mounted on an adjusting ring element which is guided axially movably along the central hub sleeve, that compression spring elements are provided between the base body and the adjusting ring element, assigned to the bearing elements, and that the central hub sleeve is formed with an external thread section at its end section remote from the base body, onto which an adjusting ring screw nut of the adjusting device is screwed, which is provided for the axial adjustment of the adjusting ring element.

[0005] To radially adjust the bearing elements away from the hub sleeve, the adjusting ring nut is screwed onto the hub sleeve toward the base body. This increases the mechanical tension of the compression spring element. To move the bearing elements radially back toward the hub sleeve, the adjusting ring nut is screwed away from the base body, which mechanically releases the compression spring elements.

[0006] It has proven to be expedient in the coil device according to the invention if the hub sleeve is formed on the outside with axially oriented guide grooves, and if the adjusting ring element is formed with radially inwardly oriented guide members which protrude into the guide grooves without play.

[0007] For simple and precise positioning of the compression spring elements, it has proven advantageous if the adjusting ring element is designed with bearing recesses on the inside for the compression spring elements. It serves the same purpose if the base body is also designed with bearing recesses for the compression spring elements.

[0008] It is preferred if, in the coil device according to the invention, the radially outer first end of the respective adjusting lever member is formed with first recesses for first bearing clamps, which are fastened to an axially oriented guide part of the associated bearing member. It is expedient in this case if a pair of first bearing clamps are provided on the respective guide part at a distance from one another.

[0009] It is preferred if the radially inner second end of the respective adjusting lever member is cylindrical and pivotally mounted in the adjusting ring element, wherein the adjusting ring element is formed from two partial ring elements that are designed with partially cylindrical bearing sections. With such a design of the coil device, second bearing clamps can be dispensed with.

[0010] According to the invention, it has proven advantageous if first and second bearing elements for wire winding material with different axial dimensions are provided along the circumference of the base body, which bearing elements alternate in the circumferential direction and are evenly spaced from one another.

[0011] The respective bearing element preferably has an axially oriented shoulder part and a base part projecting radially outward therefrom. An axially oriented bead with a threaded hole for an associated fastening screw element can be formed centrally on the rear side of the shoulder part. Furthermore, the respective bearing element can be formed with a central, axially oriented recess on the edge of the shoulder part remote from the base part, which is provided for the axially movable reception of a fixing head for wire winding material, which is formed with a through hole for the associated fastening screw element. It is preferred in this case if the opposite edges of the central recess in the shoulder part are each formed with a guide rib, and if the fixing head is formed on its opposite side surfaces with axially oriented guide grooves for the guide ribs and on its underside with fixing surfaces facing away from each other with respect to the through hole, which are offset from each other in the axial direction.

[0012] Further details, features and advantages will become apparent from the following description of an embodiment of the coil device according to the invention for wire winding material, in particular for welding wire winding material, shown in the drawing.

[0013] They show: Fig. 1 in a perspective view cut open an embodiment of the coil device in the direction of view obliquely from above, Fig. 2 in a perspective view cut open the coil device according to Fig. 1 in the direction of view from diagonally below, Fig. 3 one of the Fig. 1 similar view, but only one bearing organ is shown, Fig. 4 a perspective view of the adjusting ring element of the adjusting device of the coil device with the adjusting lever elements pivotably mounted on the adjusting ring element, Fig. 5 a first and a second storage element for wire winding material with different axial dimensions of their shoulder parts in a view direction obliquely from above, and Fig. 6 the two camp organs according to Fig. 5 viewed diagonally from below.

[0014] Fig. Figure 1 shows a cutaway view of the coil assembly 10 for wire winding material 12, which may in particular be welding wire winding material. The coil assembly 10 has a base body 14, from which a cylindrical hub sleeve 16 protrudes axially in one piece.

[0015] For example, from Fig. As can be seen in Figure 2, the base body 14 of the coil device 10 has an annular flange 18 formed integrally with the hub sleeve 16 and an annular part 20, from which radially oriented guide fingers 22 protrude integrally and are evenly distributed in the circumferential direction. The annular part 20 is firmly connected to the annular flange 18 by means of screw elements 24. Of course, it is also possible to produce the annular flange 18 and the annular part 20 in one piece, for example, using a plastic injection molding process or a 3D printing process.

[0016] The guide fingers 22 serve for the play-free radial adjustment of bearing elements 26 of the coil device 10. The respective bearing element 26 has an axially oriented shoulder part 28 and a foot part 30 projecting radially outward therefrom. A guide sleeve element 32 projects integrally radially inward from the respective shoulder part 28 and is mounted on the associated guide finger 22 for linear movement without play.

[0017] The bearing elements 26, which are evenly spaced from one another in the circumferential direction of the coil device 10, are adjustable in the radial direction of the coil device 10 by means of an adjusting device 34 in order to adapt the bearing elements 26 to the respective wire winding material 12. The adjusting device 34 has adjusting lever elements 36, with each bearing element 26 being assigned a radially oriented adjusting lever element. The respective adjusting lever element 36 is pivotally mounted with its radially outer first end 38 on the associated bearing element 26. The radially inner end 40 of the respective adjusting lever element 36 is pivotally mounted on an adjusting ring element 42. The adjusting ring element 42 is formed from two partial ring elements 44 and 46, which are designed with partially cylindrical bearing sections. The two partial ring elements 44 and 46 are firmly connected to one another by means of screw elements 48.

[0018] The adjusting ring element 42 is guided axially and play-free along the central hub sleeve 16. For this purpose, the hub sleeve 16 is formed with circumferentially spaced, axially oriented guide grooves 50, and the adjusting ring element 42 is formed with radially inwardly oriented guide members 52 that extend into the guide grooves 50 without play.

[0019] Compression spring elements 54 are provided between the base body 14 and the adjusting ring element 42 of the coil device 10. The compression spring elements 54 are designed, for example, as helical compression springs. For easy and precise positioning of the compression spring elements 54, the adjusting ring element 42 is formed on the inside with annular bearing recesses 56. Bearing recesses 58 are axially aligned with the bearing recesses 56 and are formed partly on the annular flange 18 and partly on the annular part 20 of the base body 14.

[0020] The central hub sleeve 16 of the coil device 10 is formed, at its end section 60 remote from the base body 14, with an externally threaded section 62 onto which an adjusting ring screw nut 64 is screwed. The adjusting ring screw nut 64 bears against the adjusting ring element 42 of the adjusting device 34. If the adjusting ring screw nut 64 is screwed along the externally threaded section 62 toward the base body 14, the adjusting lever elements 36 of the adjusting device 36 are pivoted downward and radially outward. In doing so, the bearing elements 26 are moved radially outward. At the same time, the compression spring elements 54 are mechanically tensioned. If the adjusting ring screw nut 64 is screwed back in the direction away from the base body 14, the compression spring elements 54 are mechanically relaxed and the bearing elements 26 are adjusted radially back in the direction of the central hub sleeve 16 by means of the adjusting lever elements 36.

[0021] As from Fig. 4, the radially outer end 38 of the respective adjusting lever member 36 is formed with recesses 66 for first bearing clamps 68, which are fastened to a support part 70 of the associated bearing member 26. The respective support part 70 is fastened to the guide sleeve element 32 of the associated bearing member 26 by means of screw elements 72. It is understood that the respective support part 70 can also be formed as a single piece with the associated guide sleeve element 32.

[0022] As already explained, the radially inner second end 40 of the respective adjusting lever member 36 is cylindrical and pivotally mounted in the adjusting ring element 42, which is formed from two partial ring elements 44 and 46.

[0023] It may be expedient if first and second bearing elements 74 for welding wire winding material are provided at equal distances from one another along the circumference of the base body 14 and have different axial dimensions (see the Fig. 5 and Fig. 6), and which alternate in the circumferential direction. As can be seen in particular from Fig. 5, the respective bearing member 74, 76 is formed centrally on the rear side of its shoulder portion 28 with an axially oriented bead 78 having a threaded hole 80 provided for an associated fastening screw element 82. The fastening screw element 82 is provided for a fixing head 84, by means of which the wire winding material 12 is temporarily fastened to the coil device. The respective fixing head 84 has mutually opposite fixing surfaces 86 that are offset from one another in the axial direction. This makes it possible to fix wire winding material 12 with different axial dimensions to the coil device 10 in a simple and time-saving manner.

[0024] As from Fig. 6, the respective bearing member 26 is formed on its edge 88 of the shoulder part 90 remote from the base part 26 with a central, axially oriented recess 92, which is provided for the axially guided reception of an associated fixing head 84. The respective fixing head 84 is formed with a through-hole 94 for the associated fastening screw element 82. The opposing edges 96 of the central recess 92 are formed with guide ribs 98, and the respective fixing head 84 is formed on its opposite side surfaces with axially oriented guide grooves 100, into which the guide ribs 98 protrude without play.

[0025] An annular cover 102 is fixed to the coil device 10 by means of the fixing heads 84 in order to secure the wire winding material 12.

[0026] The same details are in the Fig.1 to 6 are each designated by the same reference numerals, so that it is unnecessary to describe all the details in detail in connection with all the figures.
