Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a kitchen appliance comprising a heatable pot and a cooking vessel which can be placed on the heatable pot, the cooking vessel comprising: a cooking vessel base in which at least one opening is formed through which steam escaping from the pot can enter the cooking vessel for cooking food, b. a cooking vessel side wall that borders the cooking vessel bottom.
[0002] Food processors are generally used for processing food and preparing meals. There are multifunctional food processors, such as the Thermomix® food processor sold by Vorwerk. Such a food processor comprises a heatable pot. The pot has a pot opening. The pot opening can be covered (closed) with a lid, whereby the lid has a feed opening that is smaller in diameter than the pot opening. The feed opening is usually located in the center of the lid. A mixing and chopping tool, in particular a mixing blade, can be rotatably arranged in the area of the pot base. When the food processor is in operation, the pot opening is covered with the lid. Ingredients can be fed into the preparation pot through the feed opening in the lid.The pot is inserted into a pot holder on a food processor base unit. The pot can be heated (e.g., by an integrated heating element or by external heating), so that food or ingredients in the preparation pot can be heated or cooked. When heating or cooking food (e.g., water), steam (water vapor) can rise and escape through the feed opening to the outside of the pot.
[0003] Cooking vessels of the type described above are generally known from the prior art. For example, DE 10 2014 112 959 A1 discloses a cooking attachment (cooking vessel) for a heatable vessel (a pot) of a food processor. This cooking attachment has one or more bottom openings through which steam escaping from the vessel can enter the cooking attachment and through which condensate from the cooking attachment can flow into the vessel.
[0004] When used with a Thermomix® food processor, a cooking vessel can be placed directly onto the lid, which covers the bowl of the food processor. Such cooking vessels are sold under the name "Varoma." The pot is heatable, which means that – if there is food or water in the pot – steam (steam) is generated during heating, rising and entering the cooking vessel through the inlet opening in the lid and openings in the base of the cooking vessel. The (hot) steam can cook the food in the cooking vessel.
[0005] Such cooking vessels typically have a fixed volume, which limits the amount of food they can hold (i.e., the amount of food to be cooked). This can be disadvantageous when preparing larger quantities (e.g., for several people). It is known to expand the cooking space of such cooking vessels by attaching rigid rings to the vessel. However, such solutions are disadvantageous because the rings represent an additional component that must be stowed and stored. This increases the space required (e.g., in a kitchen). This solution is therefore not very space-saving.
[0006] Foldable cooking containers (with an adjustable volume) are generally known from the prior art. For example, see CN 2 01 216 471 Y, EP 2 138 074 A1, and CN 2 01 782 549 U.
[0007] The object of the present invention is to provide a kitchen appliance with a cooking vessel that can be placed on a heatable pot, wherein a cooking chamber volume of the cooking vessel can be flexibly adjusted and at the same time the space requirement is reduced compared to the solutions known from the prior art.
[0008] This object is achieved by a kitchen appliance according to claim 1.
[0009] The invention relates to a kitchen appliance comprising a heatable pot and a cooking vessel which can be placed on the heatable pot, the cooking vessel comprising a cooking vessel base in which several openings are formed through which steam escaping from the pot can enter the cooking vessel for cooking food, b. a cooking vessel side wall that adjoins the cooking vessel base, wherein the cooking vessel side wall can be folded out from a folded position into an unfolded position and vice versa, wherein the cooking vessel side wall, together with the cooking vessel base, defines a cooking chamber, wherein the cooking chamber has a smaller cooking chamber volume when the cooking vessel side wall is folded in than when the cooking vessel side wall is unfolded, wherein a circumferential fold line is formed in the cooking vessel side wall, which forms a dividing line between a first cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall and a second cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall, wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment adjoins the cooking vessel bottom and wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment and the second cooking vessel side wall segment are arranged successively starting from the cooking vessel bottom, wherein the second cooking vessel side wall segment is foldable around the circumferential fold line, in particular foldable and unfoldable, wherein a further circumferential fold line is formed in the cooking vessel side wall, which forms a dividing line between the second cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall and a third cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall, wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment, the second cooking vessel side wall segment and the third cooking vessel side wall segment are arranged successively starting from the cooking vessel bottom, wherein the third cooking vessel side wall segment is foldable, in particular foldable and unfoldable, around the further circumferential fold line, and wherein, when the side wall of the cooking vessel is folded in, an outer space is arranged concentrically to the cooking chamber, which can be used as a warming space or additional cooking space for food, wherein the outer space is limited by the second cooking vessel side wall segment and the third cooking vessel side wall segment.
[0010] The cooking vessel side wall adjoins the cooking vessel base. In particular, the cooking vessel base and cooking vessel side wall can be manufactured as a single piece in their adjacent area (material joint). For example, the cooking vessel side wall can be injection-molded onto the cooking vessel base or injection-molded as a single piece. The cooking vessel side wall thus directly adjoins a circumferential outer edge of the cooking vessel base. Preferably, the cooking vessel side wall is arranged at an angle to the cooking vessel base (as is common with pot-like vessels). The cooking vessel side wall forms a cooking vessel shell that directly adjoins or borders the cooking vessel base.
[0011] The cooking vessel is designed to be placed on a heatable pot of a food processor. For this purpose, the cooking vessel can be placed on an upper pot rim (which can limit a pot opening of the pot). Likewise, the cooking vessel can be designed to be placed on a lid of the pot. The lid covers the pot during use and has a feed opening that is smaller in diameter than the pot opening. The cooking vessel can thus be placed on the lid of the pot in such a way that the opening formed in the base of the cooking vessel (there can also be several openings) is arranged above the feed opening (in line with the feed opening). This allows steam rising from the pot to enter the cooking vessel through the feed opening and the opening (or the several openings) in the base of the cooking vessel.Furthermore, condensed water or liquids in general can flow back into the pot through the opening or openings in the bottom of the cooking vessel (through the feed opening if a lid is used).
[0012] The cooking vessel can have a circumferential collar on the outside of the cooking vessel base, which protrudes outwards (downwards) from the outside of the cooking vessel base, i.e., toward the lid of the pot. The collar can be supported and rest against a circumferential web of the lid. The collar does not have to be continuous; rather, it can also be segmented, e.g., in the form of spaced-apart collar sections.
[0013] It may also be provided that the cooking vessel does not have a collar. The cooking vessel then rests with the outer surface of the cooking vessel base on the lid or a pot rim.
[0014] It can be advantageous if the cooking vessel is placed tightly onto the pot, i.e. it is placed onto the lid or pot rim in such a way that steam rising from the pot (possibly initially through the lid's inlet opening) can only escape through the opening (or multiple openings) in the base of the cooking vessel into the cooking vessel, and not to the outside of the pot. It is therefore advantageous if there is no gap between the cooking vessel and the lid (e.g. between the collar and the lid surface) through which steam can escape. It is therefore advantageous if the cooking vessel is placed on the pot in a steam-tight manner. The same applies if the outer side (outer surface) of the base of the cooking vessel rests flat on the lid or pot rim (i.e. the version without a collar). Here, too, a gap-free (steam-tight) connection between the pot or lid and the cooking vessel is advantageous.
[0015] As mentioned, an opening can be formed in the bottom of the cooking vessel through which steam rising from the pot can enter the cooking vessel. As mentioned, several such openings can also be formed in the bottom of the cooking vessel, e.g., several holes that together form a hole pattern. The holes can have a round (circular or elliptical) or polygonal contour. They can also be elongated.
[0016] As mentioned, the cooking vessel side wall can be folded out from a folded position into an unfolded position and vice versa, whereby the cooking vessel side wall, together with the cooking vessel base, defines a cooking chamber, whereby the cooking chamber has a smaller cooking chamber volume when the cooking vessel side wall is folded in than when the cooking vessel side wall is unfolded. In both positions of the cooking vessel side wall, i.e. in the folded position and the unfolded position, there is a cooking chamber in the cooking vessel, but with different cooking chamber volumes. In the unfolded position, the cooking chamber volume is larger than in the folded position. One and the same component (one and the same cooking vessel) therefore enables the setting of different cooking chamber volumes without having to resort to an additional component (such as the rings known from the prior art) and providing additional storage space.Rather, the cooking vessel proposed here can be stored with the side panel folded in, saving space. The adjustable cooking chamber volume increases the efficiency of cooking food in the cooking vessel. The degree of filling of the cooking chamber volume can be optimized depending on the amount of food to be cooked, ensuring a faster / more homogeneous cooking process if necessary.
[0017] The unfolding of the cooking vessel side wall from the folded position to the unfolded position can be understood as the expansion of a cooking vessel side wall that was compressed in the folded position to an expanded cooking vessel side wall in the unfolded position, with an increase in the cooking chamber volume. The folding of the cooking vessel side wall from the unfolded position to the folded position can be understood as the compression of a cooking vessel side wall that was expanded in the unfolded position to a compressed cooking vessel side wall in the folded position, with a reduction in the cooking chamber volume.
[0018] The unfolding or folding can occur along predefined fold lines, with the fold lines being formed all the way around the cooking vessel side wall. One or more such predefined fold lines can be provided. Fold lines do not necessarily have to be understood as "thin" or "thick" lines, but can also refer to a folding strip or folding area. Fold lines facilitate the folding or bending of the cooking vessel side wall around the corresponding fold line. Fold lines can also be referred to as crease lines. Fold lines can be regarded as desired fold lines around which the cooking vessel side wall can be folded. Outside of the fold lines, the cooking vessel side wall may be designed to be non-foldable or only foldable with difficulty.
[0019] The unfolding or folding of the cooking vessel side wall can be provided by folding sections of the cooking vessel side wall in which the folding lines are arranged. The cooking vessel side wall can have one or more folding sections. One or more folding lines can be arranged in a folding section. The folding sections are made of a different material than the sections of the cooking vessel side wall lying outside the folding sections. The material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in a folding section is, in particular, more elastic than the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside a folding section (there the cooking vessel side wall is preferably made of a less elastic plastic). The material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in a folding section is foldable, whereas the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside a folding section is not foldable or is only slightly foldable.
[0020] The folding and unfolding of the cooking vessel side wall can be understood as the folding and unfolding of a bellows. The folding and unfolding of the cooking vessel side wall can also be understood as a telescopic compression or expansion of the cooking vessel side wall.
[0021] Further embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims and in the following description.
[0022] According to the invention, a circumferential fold line is formed in the cooking vessel side wall, forming a dividing line between a first cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall and a second cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall. The first cooking vessel side wall segment adjoins the cooking vessel base, and the first cooking vessel side wall segment and the second cooking vessel side wall segment are arranged consecutively, starting from the cooking vessel base. The fold line forms a folding step between the first cooking vessel side wall segment and the second cooking vessel side wall segment.
[0023] The cooking vessel side wall segments (e.g., the first cooking vessel side wall segment, the second cooking vessel side wall segment, and further cooking vessel side wall segments, such as a third cooking vessel side wall segment) can form shell sections of the cooking vessel side wall, which can be designed as a cooking vessel shell. In the unfolded position, the cooking vessel side wall can have a conically widening cylindrical shell shape (e.g., in the manner of a cone) starting from the cooking vessel base. With such a shape, the inner diameter of the cooking vessel side wall (of the cooking vessel shell) increases starting from the cooking vessel base.
[0024] The circumferential fold line runs at a defined distance from the cooking vessel base (i.e., a defined height position), preferably along the entire circumference of the cooking vessel side wall (i.e., along the outer surface). The fold line is located in a fold section of the cooking vessel side wall, i.e., in the area of the fold line, the cooking vessel side wall is made of a different material than outside the fold line or outside the fold section. As mentioned, the material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in the fold section (i.e., in the area of the fold line) is, in particular, more elastic than the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside the fold section (where the cooking vessel side wall is preferably made of a less elastic plastic). The material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in the folding section (particularly in the area of the fold line) is foldable, while the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside the folding section is not foldable or only slightly foldable. In the area of the fold line, the cooking vessel side wall can have a smaller thickness than outside the fold line. The fold line can also be designed in the form of a groove.
[0025] The second cooking vessel side wall segment is foldable around the circumferential fold line, in particular, it can be folded in and out. "Folding" can also be understood as a folding or pivoting movement. "Folding" can also be understood as a superimposed movement consisting of translational movement components and folding and / or pivoting movement components.
[0026] According to the invention, a further circumferential fold line is formed in the cooking vessel side wall, forming a dividing line between the second cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall and a third cooking vessel side wall segment of the cooking vessel side wall. The first cooking vessel side wall segment, the second cooking vessel side wall segment, and the third cooking vessel side wall segment are arranged consecutively starting from the cooking vessel base. The fold line forms a folding step between the second cooking vessel side wall segment and the third cooking vessel side wall segment.
[0027] According to the invention, the third cooking vessel side wall segment is foldable around the further circumferential fold line, in particular foldable and unfoldable.
[0028] The further circumferential fold line runs at a defined distance from the cooking vessel base (i.e., a defined height position), preferably along the entire circumference of the cooking vessel side wall (i.e., along the outer surface). The further circumferential fold line is arranged in a folding section of the cooking vessel side wall, i.e., in the area of the further circumferential fold line, the cooking vessel side wall is made of a different material than outside the further circumferential fold line or outside the folding section. As mentioned, the material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in the folding section (i.e., in the area of the further circumferential fold line) is, in particular, more elastic than the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside the folding section (where the cooking vessel side wall is preferably made of a less elastic plastic). The material from which the cooking vessel side wall is formed in the folding section (particularly in the area of the further circumferential fold line) is foldable, while the material of the cooking vessel side wall outside the folding section is not foldable or only slightly foldable. In the area of the further circumferential fold line, the cooking vessel side wall can have a smaller thickness than outside the further circumferential fold line. The further circumferential fold line can also be designed in the form of a groove.
[0029] The circumferential fold line and the further circumferential fold line can be arranged in a common folding section, but also in separate folding sections. In addition to the circumferential fold line and the further circumferential fold line, a third or more circumferential fold lines can also be provided, which can also be arranged together with the circumferential fold line and the further circumferential fold line in a common folding section. The third or more circumferential fold lines can also each be arranged in separate folding sections or in groups of fold lines in respective folding sections.
[0030] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cooking chamber can be defined by the first cooking vessel side wall segment together with the cooking vessel base when the cooking vessel side wall is folded in. Additionally, the cooking chamber can be defined by a cooking vessel lid that can be placed over the cooking vessel.
[0031] According to the invention, when the cooking vessel side wall is folded in, an outer space is arranged concentrically to the cooking chamber, which can be used as a warming space or additional cooking space for food, wherein the outer space is delimited by the second cooking vessel side wall segment and the third cooking vessel side wall segment. The outer space has a smaller volume than the cooking chamber. It can be provided that steam entering the cooking chamber can flow over the first cooking vessel side wall segment into the outer space. For this purpose, when the cooking vessel lid is placed on the cooking vessel, a gap or passage openings can be formed between the cooking vessel lid and the first cooking vessel side wall segment to allow steam to pass through. Food or food can then also be steamed in the outer space. It can also be provided that no gap or openings are formed between the cooking vessel lid and the first cooking vessel side wall segment, so that no steam can enter the outer space. Cooking can then still occur, if necessary, through heat released from the first cooking vessel side wall segment into the outer space. The first cooking vessel side wall segment absorbs the heat through the steam introduced into the cooking chamber or through heat transfer from the heatable pot.
[0032] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the outer space can be designed as a channel or groove, with the outer space preferably having a V- or U-shaped cross section. Other cross-sectional shapes are also conceivable.
[0033] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the outer space can have a smaller volume than the cooking chamber. Optionally, the outer space can also have a larger volume than the cooking chamber.
[0034] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cooking vessel side wall can be formed from an elastic material, at least in the region of the circumferential fold line. The elastic material is preferably selected such that the cooking vessel side wall can be folded around the circumferential fold line, in particular, folded in and out.
[0035] According to a further embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the cooking vessel side wall is formed from an elastic material at least in the region of the further circumferential fold line. The elastic material is preferably selected such that the cooking vessel side wall can be folded around the further circumferential fold line, in particular can be folded in and out. This applies not only to the circumferential fold line and the further circumferential fold line, but to all circumferential fold lines formed in the cooking vessel side wall. The cooking vessel side wall is preferably formed from an elastic material of the type described above in regions (folding sections) of the fold lines formed or arranged therein (in particular circumferential fold lines).
[0036] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the second cooking vessel side wall segment can be formed from an elastic material. The first cooking vessel side wall segment can also be formed entirely or partially from an elastic material, but at least in the region of a circumferential fold line arranged therein.
[0037] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the elastic material can be an elastomeric plastic (elastomer), a thermoplastic rubber, silicone, or caoutchouc. It can also be silicone rubber. Other elastic plastics can also form the elastic material. The elastic material can also be a textile fabric.
[0038] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cooking vessel can be covered with a lid, whereby steam can escape from the cooking vessel to the outside through an outlet opening formed in the lid or a gap formed between the lid and the cooking vessel. This prevents the buildup of excess pressure in the cooking vessel.
[0039] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the cooking vessel base, the cooking vessel lid, the first cooking vessel side wall segment, and / or the third cooking vessel side wall segment can be made of a non-elastic material, in particular a non-elastic plastic. For example, the non-elastic plastic can be polypropylene, polyethersulfone (PES), or polyamide.
[0040] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the first, second, and third cooking vessel side wall segments can each be ring-shaped. The ring shape can be circular, oval, or elliptical. A polygonal shape (e.g., rectangular or square) is also possible.
[0041] According to a further embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the cooking vessel side wall in the unfolded position is formed by the first, second and third cooking vessel side wall segments, which are in particular annular, wherein the cooking vessel side wall segments have an increasing inner diameter starting from the first cooking vessel side wall segment via the second cooking vessel side wall segment to the third cooking vessel side wall segment.
[0042] According to a further embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that the cooking vessel side wall in the unfolded position is formed by the first, second and third cooking vessel side wall segments, which are in particular annular, wherein the cooking vessel side wall widens conically starting from the cooking vessel base.
[0043] According to a further embodiment of the invention, it can be provided that in the folded position of the cooking vessel side wall, the first, second and third cooking vessel side wall segments are arranged in a zigzag or accordion-like manner.
[0044] The cooking vessel base can be designed as an insert base which can be detachably inserted into the cooking vessel.
[0045] The figures further specify the invention. These show in Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a cooking vessel according to the invention placed on a heatable pot of a food processor, the cooking vessel having a cooking vessel side wall which is in a folded position; Fig. 2 a perspective view of a cooking vessel according to the invention placed on a heatable pot of a kitchen appliance, wherein the cooking vessel has a cooking vessel side wall which, in contrast to the illustration according to Fig. 1 is in an unfolded position; Fig. 3 a lateral cross-sectional view of a cooking vessel according to the invention with a cooking vessel side wall in a folded position; Fig. 4 a lateral cross-sectional view of a cooking vessel according to the invention with a cooking vessel side wall in the unfolded position; Fig. 5 a side cross-sectional view of a cooking vessel according to the invention with a cooking vessel side wall in a folded position, wherein the cooking vessel is placed on a heatable pot; Fig. 6 a lateral cross-sectional view of a cooking vessel according to the invention with a cooking vessel side wall in an unfolded position, wherein the cooking vessel is placed on a heatable pot.
[0046] The present invention relates to a food processor with a cooking vessel 1 for placing on a pot 2 of the food processor. The cooking vessel 1, which can be heated, comprises a cooking vessel base 3 in which at least one opening 4 is formed, through which steam escaping from the pot 2 can enter the cooking vessel 1 for cooking food. In this case, the cooking vessel base 3 has—as shown in the figures—a plurality of openings 4. Furthermore, the cooking vessel 1 comprises a cooking vessel side wall 5 adjacent to the cooking vessel base 3. The cooking vessel side wall 5 can be folded out from a folded position E into an unfolded position A and vice versa. The cooking vessel side wall 5, together with the cooking vessel base 3, defines a cooking chamber G. The cooking chamber G has a smaller cooking chamber volume when the cooking vessel side wall 5 is folded in the E position than when the cooking vessel side wall 5 is unfolded in the A position.
[0047] In the Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a cooking vessel 1 according to the invention placed on the heatable pot 2 of a food processor, wherein the cooking vessel 1 has a cooking vessel side wall 5 which is in a folded position E. Fig. 2 shows a corresponding illustration, but with a cooking vessel side wall 5 in the unfolded position A. The Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 also show folded positions E of the cooking vessel side wall 5, while Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 are directed towards unfolded positions A of the cooking vessel side wall 5.
[0048] A circumferential fold line F1 is formed in the cooking vessel side wall 5, which forms a dividing line between a first cooking vessel side wall segment 6 of the cooking vessel side wall 5 and a second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 of the cooking vessel side wall 5, wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment 6 adjoins the cooking vessel base 3 and wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment 6 and the second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 are arranged consecutively starting from the cooking vessel base 3. The second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 can be folded around the circumferential fold line F1, in particular can be folded in and out.
[0049] A further circumferential fold line F2 is formed in the cooking vessel side wall 5, which forms a dividing line between the second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 of the cooking vessel side wall 5 and a third cooking vessel side wall segment 8 of the cooking vessel side wall 5, wherein the first cooking vessel side wall segment 6, the second cooking vessel side wall segment 7, and the third cooking vessel side wall segment 8 are arranged successively starting from the cooking vessel base 3. The third cooking vessel side wall segment 8 is foldable around the further circumferential fold line F2, in particular foldable and unfoldable.
[0050] When the cooking vessel side wall 5 is folded in position E, the cooking chamber G is delimited by the first cooking vessel side wall segment 6 together with the cooking vessel base 3.
[0051] When the cooking vessel side wall 5 is folded in position E, an outer space 9 is arranged concentrically to the cooking chamber G. This outer space 9 can be used as a warming space or additional cooking space for food. The outer space 9 is delimited by the second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 and the third cooking vessel side wall segment 8. The outer space 9 is designed like a channel or groove. The outer space 9 has a smaller volume than the cooking chamber G.
[0052] The cooking vessel side wall 5 is formed from an elastic material in the region of the circumferential fold line F1. Furthermore, the cooking vessel side wall 5 is formed from an elastic material in the region of the further circumferential fold line F2. In the present case, the cooking vessel side wall 5 is formed from an elastic material in a folding section 10, which extends from a characteristic curve 11 to a characteristic curve 12 across the cooking vessel side wall 5. The second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 is therefore formed from an elastic material in the present case. The elastic material is an elastomeric plastic, a thermoplastic rubber, silicone, or caoutchouc.
[0053] The cooking vessel 1 can be covered with a cooking vessel lid, whereby steam can escape from the cooking vessel 1 to the outside through an outlet opening formed in the lid or a gap formed between the lid and the cooking vessel 1.
[0054] As can be seen, the first, second and third cooking vessel side wall segments 6, 7, 8 are each annular. The cooking vessel side wall 5 is formed in the unfolded position A by the annular first, second and third cooking vessel side wall segments 6, 7, 8, wherein the cooking vessel side wall segments 6, 7, 8 have an increasing inner diameter starting from the first cooking vessel side wall segment 6 via the second cooking vessel side wall segment 7 to the third cooking vessel side wall segment 8. As can be seen particularly in the Fig. 2, Fig. 4 and Fig.As shown in Figure 6, the cooking vessel side wall 5 in the unfolded position A is formed by the particularly annular first, second, and third cooking vessel side wall segments 6, 7, 8, wherein the cooking vessel side wall 5 widens conically starting from the cooking vessel base 3. In the folded position E of the cooking vessel side wall 5, the first, second, and third cooking vessel side wall segments 6, 7, 8 are arranged in a zigzag or accordion-like manner.
