Abstract
Description
CROSS-REFERENCE TO A RELATED APPLICATION
[0001] This application claims priority to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2023-0048736, filed on April 13, 2023, and all the benefits thereof under 35 USC 9119, the contents of which are incorporated by reference in their entirety. BACKGROUND
[0002] The present disclosure relates to a hydraulic device, and more particularly to a hydraulic device capable of gripping a tool more stably.
[0003] A hydraulic chuck according to the related art comprises a main body having one end at which a tapered loading part is provided which is fitted into a mounting shaft of a machine tool, and another end at which a coupling hole of a tool (e.g., a drilling machine) is provided.
[0004] This coupling hole is defined by a hollow portion of a coupling sleeve, which is inserted into an insertion hole provided in the main body for integral fastening. Meanwhile, the main body is configured to have a hydraulic chamber provided on one side with a piston for applying or releasing hydraulic pressure with an adjusting screw.
[0005] This hydraulic chamber communicates with an oil passage, and the oil passage is configured to communicate with a hydraulic operating chamber formed between the main body and the coupling sleeve by performing grooving on an outer peripheral surface of the coupling sleeve.
[0006] An inlet port for the cutting oil is provided inside the filling part of the main body, and a vent port communicating with the oil passage or the hydraulic operating chamber and opened / closed by a bolt is provided on one side of the main body.
[0007] To couple the tool to this hydraulic chuck, insert the tool into the coupling hole of the coupling sleeve, and then tighten the adjusting screw to couple the tool. Hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic chamber is directed through the oil passage into the hydraulic working chamber to reduce the inner diameter of the coupling sleeve. When disconnecting the tool, loosen the adjusting screw to reduce the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic working chamber, thereby increasing the inner diameter of the coupling sleeve to disconnect the tool.
[0008] This prior art hydraulic chuck has the limitation that a component carrying the adjusting bolt for adjusting the oil pressure is not securely attached to the hydraulic chamber, so that the hydraulic adjustment of the oil via the adjusting bolt does not take place smoothly. SUMMARY
[0009] The present invention has been developed to solve the above-mentioned limitations, and an aspect of the present invention is to provide a hydraulic device with further improved fastening force of a housing accommodating a clamping member (clamping bolt) provided for adjusting the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic medium to a body of the hydraulic device.

[0024] Therefore, the embodiments described in this specification and the configurations illustrated in the drawings are only preferred embodiments of the present invention and may not fully describe the technical spirit. Accordingly, it should be understood that various equivalents and modified examples that can replace the embodiments may be provided at a time of application of this specification.
[0025] Fig. 1 is a view showing a hydraulic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a portion having a hydraulic chamber 200 in the hydraulic device 10 in Fig. 1 shows. Fig. 3 is a view showing a portion provided with a hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 in the hydraulic device 10 in Fig. 1 is provided. Fig. Fig. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the area provided with the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 in the hydraulic device 10 in Fig. 1 shows.
[0026] In one embodiment of the present invention, each of the X-axis and Y-axis directions shown in the drawings may mean a radial direction of the hydraulic device 10, which will be described later, and a Z-axis direction may mean an axial direction of the hydraulic device 10, which is perpendicular to a horizontal plane (XY plane).
[0027] With reference to the Fig. 1 to 4, the hydraulic device 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a body 100, the hydraulic chamber 200, and the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300. As an example, the hydraulic device 10 may be a type of hydraulic chuck.
[0028] The body 100 can accommodate a sleeve S for clamping a tool C (see Fig. 1). Tool C can be, for example, various types of tools, including a drill, an end mill, and the like.
[0029] In one embodiment, the body 100 may be configured to be inserted into a mounting shaft (not shown) of a machine tool such that the power transmitted from the mounting shaft is transferred to the tool C held by the sleeve S to drive the tool C.
[0030] The hydraulic chamber 200 may be provided in the housing 100 and configured to supply a hydraulic medium (e.g., oil) (not shown) to the sleeve S at a predetermined hydraulic pressure so that the sleeve S grips the tool C.
[0031] The sleeve S can be arranged within the hydraulic chamber 200 as viewed in the radial direction of the body 100 (X-axis direction and Y-axis direction). The hydraulic chamber 200 can be arranged coaxially with the sleeve S as viewed in the axial direction of the housing 100 (Z-axis direction).
[0032] The hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 may be provided in the body 100 and configured to adjust the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium flowing into the hydraulic chamber 200.
[0033] Here, the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 can be arranged in a hydraulic pressure adjusting part receiving space 110 of the housing 100. The space 110 for receiving the hydraulic pressure adjusting part can be connected to the hydraulic chamber 200 via a supply channel 400 for the hydraulic medium.
[0034] The hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 may in particular comprise a clamping part 310, a housing 320, a piston 330 and a fixing material P.
[0035] The clamping part 310 may be configured to be unidirectionally driven within the receiving space of the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 110. As an example, the clamping part 310 may be a clamping bolt configured such that an external adjustment tool (not shown) and an inner peripheral surface of the clamping bolt are screwed together, and the clamping bolt is unidirectionally driven in accordance with the rotation of the adjustment tool within the hydraulic pressure adjusting part receiving space 110.
[0036] Here, the one direction in which the clamping part 310 is driven may mean a direction on a parallel axis that is a predetermined distance radially away from a central axis in the radial direction of the body 100 (X-axis direction, Y-axis direction).
[0037] The housing 320 can accommodate the clamping part 310 and be attached to the housing 100. In particular, the housing 320 can be attached to the receiving space 110 of the housing 100 for the hydraulic pressure adjustment part.
[0038] Here, the housing 320 may have an inner peripheral surface with an inner screw portion (not shown) that can be screwed to an outer peripheral surface of the clamping member 310. That is, according to the rotation of the adjusting tool, the clamping member 310 can be driven in one direction in the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110 while engaging the inner screw portion (not shown) provided on the inner peripheral surface of the housing 320.
[0039] The piston 330 may have one end housed in the housing 320. Furthermore, the piston 330 may be connected to the clamping part 310 and configured to be movable in a direction corresponding to the drive of the clamping part 310. Here, the end of the piston 330 may be a portion connected to the clamping part 310.
[0040] Here, the piston 330 can adjust the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium flowing into the hydraulic chamber 200 while moving to one side of the hydraulic medium supply channel 400 or in a direction away from the hydraulic medium supply channel 400 within the hydraulic pressure adjusting part accommodating space 110 according to the drive of the clamping part 310.
[0041] Meanwhile, the hydraulic medium may be arranged in a space in which the piston 330 is accommodated within the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110 and may be located outside the housing 320 as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the housing 320.
[0042] Specifically, when the piston 330 moves to one side of the hydraulic medium supply channel 400 within the hydraulic pressure adjusting part accommodating space 110 according to the drive of the clamping part 310, the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium flowing into the hydraulic chamber 200 can increase while the piston 330 pushes the hydraulic medium to the side of the hydraulic medium supply channel 400. In this case, the sleeve S can contract when the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium acts on an outer surface of the sleeve S. Accordingly, the sleeve S can stably grip the tool.
[0043] When the piston 330 moves in a direction away from the hydraulic medium supply channel (400), the sleeve S can return to its original shape when the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium in the hydraulic chamber (200) decreases as the piston 330 moves into the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure part (110) by the drive of the clamping part (310). Accordingly, the tool can be separated from the sleeve S.
[0044] For example, the sleeve S may be made of a material with good elasticity so that the sleeve S contracts slightly or returns to its original shape depending on the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium applied to the outer surface.
[0045] The fixing material P may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and configured to fix the housing 320 to the body 100.
[0046] The fixing material P may be, for example, a paste made of a metallic material such as copper or silver. The fixing material P may be applied to the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 by applying the fixing material P to the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and then performing a vacuum brazing process.
[0047] For example, a brazing method may be a method in which a metal material for brazing (paste made of a metal material) having a melting point of a certain temperature (e.g., about 450°C or higher) is heated to at most a solidus temperature (a temperature at which all solid is completely converted to liquid) of a base material so that only the metal material for brazing is melted, and then inserted between two base materials to be joined to join the two base materials. That is, in the present invention, the fixing material P may be configured such that the fixing material P is inserted between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the body 100 in a state of being heated to a certain melting point temperature or higher to fix the housing 320 to the body 100.However, the joining method between the housing 320 and the body 100 using the fixing material P is not limited to the above embodiment.
[0048] According to this embodiment, the fastening force of the housing 320, which accommodates the clamping part 310 configured to adjust the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium, to the body 100 of the hydraulic device 10 can be improved. This has the advantage that the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium supplied to the hydraulic chamber 200 can be adjusted more stably.
[0049] According to an embodiment of the present invention, since the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium can be stably adjusted, the gripping and separating of the tool can be stably achieved by the sleeve S provided in the body 100 of the hydraulic device 10.
[0050] With reference to the Fig. the fixing material P may be arranged between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 110.
[0051] That is, the fixing material P may be disposed between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the hydraulic pressure adjusting member receiving space 110 of the body 100, so that the fixing material P fixes the housing 320 receiving the clamping member 310 therein to the body 100.
[0052] Accordingly, the clamping part 310 can be stably moved into the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 110 in one direction.
[0053] With reference to the Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the fixing material P may be configured to be in surface contact with the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110.
[0054] In this embodiment, the coupling between the housing 320 and the body 100 can be made over a wider range, whereby the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium introduced into the hydraulic chamber 200 can be adjusted more stably.
[0055] As can be seen from the Fig. As can be seen, the body 100 may also have a recessed groove 112.
[0056] The recessed groove 112 may be provided so as to be recessed from the inner peripheral surface of the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110, which is opposite to a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 in which the piston 330 is arranged.
[0057] The recessed groove 112 may be configured to face the portion of the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 in which one end of the piston 330 is housed. That is, the recessed groove 112 may be provided in a region of the body 100 corresponding to a portion of the piston 330 connected to the clamping part 310.
[0058] Furthermore, a portion of the fixing material P located on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 may flow into the recessed groove 112. The portion of the fixing material P flowing into the recessed groove 112 may be configured to be in surface contact with both an inner surface of the recessed groove 112 and the portion of the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 facing the recessed groove 112, while filling the entire recessed groove 112.
[0059] As described above, the portion of the fixing material P can be provided in a region (recessed groove 112) of the body 100 corresponding to a connecting portion of the clamping part 310 and the piston 330, so that the fastening force of the housing 320 to the body 100 is further improved in a region (connecting portion of the clamping part 310 and the piston 330) susceptible to vibrations occurring during the driving of the clamping part 310. Accordingly, the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium supplied to the hydraulic chamber 200 can be set more stably.
[0060] In particular, the hydraulic pressure adjusting part 300 may also include a sealing part 340.
[0061] The sealing member 340 may be configured to surround the outer peripheral surface of the piston 330. This sealing member 340 may be configured to seal a gap between the end of the piston 330 and the housing 320, as well as a gap between the housing 320 and the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110.
[0062] In addition, the body 100 may also include a sealing groove 114.
[0063] The sealing member receiving groove 114 can receive the sealing member 340 and can be arranged further away from the clamping member 310 than the recessed groove 112, as seen in the longitudinal direction of the housing 320.
[0064] According to this embodiment configuration, the hydraulic medium can be prevented by the sealing member 340 from leaking into the interior of the housing 320 and into a gap between the housing 320 and the accommodating space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110.
[0065] Furthermore, the fixing material P may be provided in the recessed groove 112 formed from the inner peripheral surface of the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110, which is opposite to the outer peripheral surface portion of the housing 320 in which the piston 330 is disposed. Accordingly, the hydraulic fluid can be more effectively prevented from leaking into the gap between the housing 320 and the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110.
[0066] Fig. 5 is a view showing a hydraulic device 11 according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
[0067] The hydraulic device 11 according to this embodiment is similar to the hydraulic device 10 according to the previous embodiment, so duplicate descriptions regarding components that are substantially the same as or similar to those of the previous embodiment will be omitted. The following description will focus on the differences from the previous embodiment.
[0068] As in Fig. 5, the housing 320 of the hydraulic device 11 may have a chamfered portion 322.
[0069] The chamfered portion 322 may be provided such that one end (outer end of the housing 320) provided on a side opposite to a piston 330 in the housing 320 is chamfered.
[0070] This tapered portion 322 may be provided with a fixing material P. In one embodiment, the fixing material P may be provided to have an approximately annular shape on a side surface of the tapered portion 322 in a circumferential direction. The fixing material P provided in the tapered portion 322 may be configured separately from the above-described fixing material P provided between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110. Specifically, the fixing material P provided in the tapered portion 322 may be provided between the side surface of the tapered portion 322 in the circumferential direction and the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110.
[0071] According to this embodiment, the fastening force of the housing 320 to a body 100 can be further improved in a region (outer end of the housing 320) susceptible to vibrations occurring during the driving of a clamping part 310. Accordingly, the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium supplied to the hydraulic chamber 200 can be set more stably.
[0072] Fig. 6 is a view showing a hydraulic device 12 according to a third embodiment of the present invention.
[0073] The hydraulic device 12 according to this embodiment is similar to the hydraulic device 10 according to the previous embodiment, so duplicate descriptions of components that are substantially the same as or similar to those of the previous embodiment will be omitted. The following description will focus on the differences from the previous embodiment.
[0074] As in Fig. 6, the housing 320 of the hydraulic device 12 may further include a plurality of outer screw portions 323.
[0075] The plurality of outer screw portions 323 may be provided on an outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and configured to be screwed to an inner peripheral surface of a hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating the space 110. That is, a thread corresponding to the outer screw portions 323 may also be provided on the inner peripheral surface of the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110.
[0076] At the same time, a fixing material P can be provided in a space between the outer screw sections 323.
[0077] That is, the fixing material P may be provided in the space between the outer screw portions 323 projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 to one side of the inner peripheral surface of the accommodating space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110.
[0078] According to this embodiment, not only a body 100 can be more firmly fixed to the housing 320 by a screw connection between the body 100 and the housing 320, but also the fixing material P can be applied to the space between the projecting outer screw portions 323 of the housing 320 to further increase the connection area of the housing 320 and the body 100.
[0079] Fig. 7 is a view showing a hydraulic device 13 according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention.
[0080] The hydraulic device 13 according to this embodiment is similar to the hydraulic device 10 according to the previous embodiment, so duplicate descriptions of components that are substantially the same or similar to those of the previous embodiment will be omitted. The following description will focus on the differences from the previous embodiment.
[0081] Referring to Fig. 7, in the hydraulic device 13, a hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110 of a body 100 may be arranged to have an inclination inclined at a predetermined angle (e.g., about 10 degrees or more) with respect to a radial direction of the body 100 and an axial direction of the body 100 (Z-axis direction).
[0082] A housing 320 of a hydraulic pressure adjusting member 300 may be disposed in the hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110 with the inclination being inclined at the predetermined angle.
[0083] Here, a fixing material P can flow into a recessed groove 112 of the body 100 in the inclination direction of the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure compensation part 110.
[0084] As described above, the housing 320 can be fixed to the body 100 at the predetermined angle with respect to the radial direction of the body 100 and the axial direction of the body 100, and thus the fixing material P can flow more easily into the above-described recessed groove 112. Accordingly, the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic medium supplied to a hydraulic chamber 200 can be adjusted more stably.
[0085] Fig. 8 is a view showing a hydraulic device 14 according to a fifth embodiment of the present invention.
[0086] The hydraulic device 14 according to this embodiment is similar to the hydraulic device 10 according to the previous embodiment, so duplicate descriptions of components that are substantially the same or similar to those of the previous embodiment will be omitted. The following description focuses on the differences from the previous embodiment.
[0087] As in Fig. 8, the housing 320 of the hydraulic device 14 may also include a plurality of projections 324.
[0088] The plurality of protrusions 324 may be provided to protrude from an outer peripheral surface of a housing 320 to oppose an inner peripheral surface of a hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110.
[0089] Here, a fixing material P may be provided in a space between the plurality of projections 324 and a space between the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving space for the hydraulic pressure adjusting member 110.
[0090] According to this embodiment, the fixing material P may be applied to the space between the plurality of projections 324 protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the housing 320 to further increase the joining area of the housing 320 with the body 100.
[0091] Fig. 9 is a view showing a hydraulic device 15 according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention.
[0092] The hydraulic device 15 according to this embodiment is similar to the hydraulic device 10 according to the previous embodiment, so duplicate descriptions of components that are substantially the same or similar to those of the previous embodiment will be omitted. The following description will focus on the differences from the previous embodiment.
[0093] As in Fig. 9, a housing 320 in the hydraulic device 15 may further include a pair of stepped portions 325.
[0094] The pair of stepped portions 325 may be provided to protrude outwardly from one end disposed on one side of a piston 330 and one end (outer end of a housing 320) provided on a side opposite to the piston 330 in the housing 320, respectively, to contact with an inner peripheral surface of a hydraulic pressure adjusting member accommodating space 110.
[0095] In particular, a fixing material injection space 325a into which a fixing material P is injected may be defined between the pair of stepped portions 325 in the longitudinal direction of the housing 320.
[0096] Here, the fixing material P can be injected into the fixing material injection space 325a through an injection hole H provided in the stepped portion 325 located at the end of the side of the housing 320 opposite the piston 330. When the fixing material P is injected into the fixing material injection space 325a through the injection hole H, the injection hole H can also be sealed by the injected fixing material P.
[0097] As described above, both ends of the housing 320 may protrude longitudinally to contact the inner peripheral surface of the hydraulic pressure adjustment member accommodation space 110, and the fixing material P may be disposed in a space between both ends of the housing 320, so that the fastening force of the housing 320 to a body 100 is further enhanced in areas (both ends of the housing 320 in the longitudinal direction) susceptible to vibrations occurring during the driving of a clamping member 310. Accordingly, the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic medium supplied to a hydraulic chamber 200 can be adjusted more stably.
[0098] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the fastening force of the housing, which accommodates the clamping part provided for adjusting the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium, to the body of the hydraulic device can be improved. This provides the advantage that the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium introduced into the hydraulic chamber can be adjusted more stably.
[0099] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic medium can be stably adjusted, so that the gripping and separating of the tool by the sleeve provided in the body of the hydraulic device is stably achieved.
[0100] Furthermore, various other additional effects can be achieved by the various embodiments of the present invention. These various effects of the present invention are described in detail in each of the embodiments, or the description of the effects that could be easily understood by those skilled in the art is omitted.
[0101] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the limited embodiments and drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto and can be implemented in various ways by persons having ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention belongs within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention and an equivalent of the appended claims.
