Description

The invention relates to a packaging for large appliances, in particular for domestic appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigeration appliances, ovens or the like.Such packages for large appliances must be suitable for being able to carry the weight of heavy large appliances in their base region and at the same time to protect these from damage due to external influences and forces. In addition, for saving space during storage or transport, it is advantageous to stack a plurality of packages on top of one another, which in turn makes increased requirements for the stability of the supporting parts of the package. The document DE 10 2017 128 206 A1 discloses a packaging for large appliances, in particular for domestic appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens and the like, wherein the packaging comprises a supporting frame, a floor cushion arranged on the supporting frame, an upper cover part and corner cushion parts, which can be placed in each case at the corners of the appliance to be packaged and which form the vertical supporting elements of the packaging between the floor cushion and the cover part. The cover part is designed as a cover cushion, which can be produced as a molded part from a polystyrene foam, and in a joined state the corner cushions are connected with their lower ends to the floor cushion and with their upper ends to the cover cushion via positively engaging plug-in connection means. The publication DE 10 2006 041 855 A1 discloses a stackable transport packaging for large household appliances such as ovens, refrigeration appliances, washing machines, dishwashers or the like, which have a substantially rigid housing, with two lower frame elements arranged on two sides of the household appliance and opposite one another, with two upper frame elements arranged on the same sides of the household appliance opposite one another and above the lower frame elements, with support supports for connecting the lower to the upper frame elements, and with connection supports for height-adjustable fixing of the support supports. All packaging parts may be formed from a substantially rigid plastic, thereby minimizing the packaging material. Further, the support posts and the connection posts may also be formed of metal to withstand the increased compressive load from above without damage and provide a secure connection between upper and lower frame members.DE 60 2005 002 787 T2 discloses a package for stretch hood packaging of large household appliances comprising a base shaped for at least either assembling a household appliance thereon or placing the household appliance thereon after assembly, the package being packaged for shipment, the base having an upper surface for supporting the household appliance thereon and outer rim portions having a plurality of substantially L-shaped pockets located at the top of the outer rim portions of the base, each pocket extending around the corners of the base; two vertically extending first posts each having substantially L-shaped tongues on their undersides received in a respective L-shaped pocket of the base at a corner location adjacent to where one pair of the front or rear corners of the device is to be received, the first posts being shaped to abut vertically extending corners of the device along the length thereof; two vertically extending second posts each having substantially L-shaped tongues on their undersides received in a respective L-shaped pocket of the base at a corner location adjacent to where the other pair of the front or rear corners of the device is to be disposed, the second posts being shaped to abut vertically extending corners of the device along the length thereof; and wherein at least the second posts each have a vertically oriented horizontal extension extending along the side of the device and vertically spaced a sufficient amount from an outer base edge portion to allow each of the second posts to pivot when the device is stretch hood packaged with a film hood in the package, thereby substantially preventing deformation of the base due to the device being stretch hood packaged due to the pivoting posts. The package may further include an apparatus in the package and a film hood stretched thereover, the film hood extending approximately along at least the lower corners of the base for holding the package together. Further, the film hood may be made of polyethylene having a coefficient of friction on its inside in the range of about 6 to about 6.5 and a coefficient of friction on its outside in the range of about 4 to about 4.5, and / or may be formed of a film having a thickness in the range of about 90 microns. Further, the base, the two vertically extending first posts, and the two vertically extending second posts may be formed of polystyrene. Moreover, the polystyrene may be expanded polystyrene having shock absorbing properties. Also, two of the posts may be disposed in a position in which a door of the apparatus is disposed in the package and formed of expanded polystyrene having a density in the range of about 20 g / L and 30 g / L, and the base and the remaining posts may be formed of expanded polystyrene having a density in the range of about 32 g / L.Against this background, it is an object of the present invention to provide a simple and cost-effective packaging for large appliances, in particular for domestic appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigeration appliances, ovens or the like, which meets the legal and operational requirements, in particular both the presence and the future. To achieve the object according to the invention, a packaging for large appliances, in particular for domestic appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerating appliances, ovens or the like, is proposed, comprisinga trough which has upwardly projecting lugs upwardly when a preferably circumferential edge is formed,a floor cushion which is arranged in the trough,at least two lateral clamp cushions for counter support of clamp forces, which preferably consist at least of at least partially compressed honeycomb plates, which are preferably inserted into the floor cushion on the right and left sides, in particular in a form-fitting manner, and which preferably contact the large appliance on the inside,a roof cushion which comprises a carrier plate with a plurality of downwardly projecting side flaps and shaped flaps, wherein a plurality of honeycomb cushions are attached, in particular adhesively bonded, on the inside of the downwardly projecting side flaps,at least one corner strip, preferably arranged at each vertical corner of the packaging, which extends from the floor cushion approximately to the roof cushion and which preferably and at least partially consists of a fiber material, in particular wood or cardboard, anda film, in particular a shrink film or a stretch film, which forms an outer casing of the packaging at least in regions. The packaging according to the invention for large appliances, in particular for domestic appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigeration appliances, ovens or the like, is thus in principle a largest possible EPS-free packaging which meets the legal requirements and the operational requirements, such as transport guidelines, Amazon ISTA 6 and so forth. Thus, the packaging for large-scale devices according to the invention can be an essential component of a local, regional, national and / or global sustainability strategy and represent a decisive factor with regard to market accessibility. It can also represent part of a circular economy, make it easier to market the individual large appliance, in particular even first make it possible, and substantially support and even emboss the "green-life" idea. The packaging for large appliances according to the invention is basically characterized by packaging parts which are arranged substantially under or on the top side of the individual large appliance. The use of large-area and in particular multilayer packaging parts with corresponding production and utilization costs, storage volumes and the like is thus dispensed with.By combining the roof cushion with the floor group, the known EPS corner cushions can be completely dispensed with. As a result, the packaging components are no longer device height-dependent and the variance is reduced by the omission of the corner cushions.Furthermore, the packaging for large devices according to the invention has a reduced number of variants with associated advantages, such as, for example, a lower complexity, noticeable cost advantages, a reduced storage diversity and the like. The known packages for large-scale devices according to the known prior art have substantially more package parts with correspondingly higher part costs and storage costs. The term "trough" is understood to mean a usually flat and lidless container which serves for receiving at least one element, a component, an assembly and the like, in each case in solid and / or liquid form. Within the scope of the present invention, the tub serves to receive the floor cushion. In the present context, the tray can be, for example, a pure cardboard tray, a cardboard tray with a coating or a plastic tray. The coating is in particular a preferably biodegradable coating and a coating which reduces moisture absorption of the trough, preferably markedly reduces, in particular completely prevents it.A "honeycomb panel", an abbreviation for a sandwich panel with a honeycomb core, is generally a three-layer composite construction in sandwich construction, which consists of two load-bearing top skins and a support core in honeycomb form. The support core is also referred to as English honeycomb (German Honeycomb), the structural bionics of which are adopted and produced from resin-impregnated paper or cardboard. The cover skins may be made of cardboard. Various material combinations between the support core and the cover skins are possible; the support core and the skins are usually bonded together. A honeycomb panel with a support core of paper or cardboard can be equipped in such a way that it can be loaded with more than 50 tons per m 2. The skins can be designed as natural wood board, particle board or as MDF board. The carrier plate of the roof cushion can consist at least partially or in regions of a "corrugated cardboard", in Switzerland also corrugated cardboard. Corrugated board is formed by the bonding together of at least one smooth and one corrugated paper web (single-faced or single-faced corrugated board). Up to nine paper webs are used to produce corrugated board (multi-corrugated corrugated board). The wave is its decisive characteristic: light paper obtains excellent strength when it is corrugated and glued to smooth paper webs forming hollow volumes. Thus, a stable packaging means is produced by a type of lightweight construction made of paper. Depending on requirements and application, many different types of corrugated board and corrugated board packaging are produced. In a first preferred embodiment, it is provided that the floor cushion consists of a multi-layer assembly which comprises at least one contoured floor cushion base plate, which preferably consists of an uncompressed honeycomb carton, and which comprises at least one at least partially compressed upper floor cushion plate, the at least partial compressions of which have a plurality of, in particular three, different steps, wherein the first stage serves for compressing the positioning and / or the locking of a base carrier of the large appliance, in particular of the dishwasher, in the floor cushion, wherein the second stage of the compression forms a plurality of damping regions which ensure that, in a drop test, the acting forces are predominantly, preferably exclusively, introduced into the damping regions formed, andwherein the third stage of the compression forms a plurality of force flow regions which ensure that, in a drop test, the force flow regions formed predominantly, preferably exclusively, are involved in a force flow.Further embossings and / or further punchings may be required for the respective interfaces in the assembly process, for example for the addition of accessory components. This combination of features provides the advantage of the one-piece construction of different functional regions in preferably a single at least partially compressed component while achieving appreciable savings in material and weight. Thus, the base surface of the floor cushion can also have a large-area recess. The above-mentioned combination of features also requires less sometimes cost-intensive and demanding handling of individual parts. In a second preferred, preferably alternative embodiment to the first preferred embodiment, it is provided that the floor cushion consists of a multi-layer assembly which comprises at least one floor cushion base plate which is contoured and preferably consists of an uncompressed honeycomb carton and which comprises at least one upper floor cushion plate which consists of preferably differently contoured layer plates, wherein the first contoured layered plate serves for positioning and / or locking a base carrier of the large appliance, in particular of the dishwasher, in the floor cushion, wherein the second contoured layered plate forms a plurality of damping regions which ensure that, in a falling test, the acting forces are predominantly, preferably exclusively, introduced into the damping regions formed, andwherein the third contoured layered plate forms a plurality of force flow regions which ensure that, in a drop test, the force flow regions formed predominantly, preferably exclusively, are involved in a force flow.Of course, still further differently contoured layer plates, such as an additional plate or the like, can be provided.Further embossings and / or further punchings may be required for the respective interfaces in the assembly process, for example for the addition of accessory components. This combination of features provides the advantage of the multi-layer configuration of different functional regions in a plurality of components which are simple to produce and cost-effective, in the configuration of preferably differently contoured layer plates, while achieving appreciable savings in material and weight. Thus, in this preferred embodiment too, the base surface of the floor cushion can have a large-area recess. Also, a lower complexity due to a lack of variance can be achieved for all layers. The tools required for realizing this combination of features are also simpler, smaller and thus more cost-effective.In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the trough and the floor cushion arranged therein form a workpiece carrier which serves for mounting the large device on a mounting line. The components and groups of the workpiece carrier can comprise at least one fibrous material, at least one fibrous material with at least regional coating, at least one plastic and / or at least one wood compound. The coating is in particular a preferably biodegradable coating and a coating which reduces moisture absorption of the trough, preferably markedly reduces, in particular completely prevents it.Thus, the use of a separate, cost- and maintenance-intensive workpiece carrier can ideally be completely eliminated during the assembly of the large device. Necessary functions for the assembly steps, such as stops, positioning marks and aids, suction devices and the like, can be integrated in the floor cushion. Thus, in this preferred embodiment too, the base surface of the floor cushion can have a large-area recess. The large-area recess serves in particular for lifting out and positioning the large device at the "displacement location", that is to say at the mounting location at which the large device is brought onto the workpiece carrier and positioned, in particular fixed, thereon. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the upwardly projecting flaps of the trough are preferably connected, in particular glued, to the floor cushion arranged in the trough in a planar manner. As a result of this preferably planar connection, in particular adhesive bonding, of the at least two components, the trough protects the floor cushion against damage independently of the structure and makes it more resistant to moisture ingress. In the interior of the tub, the flaps are glued upwardly to cover the open side surfaces of the cells of the floor cushion. The open side surfaces of the floor cushion are not protected during the production of the floor cushion, for example by a cover layer. At the stoppers and positions on the assembly line, the side surfaces of the floor cushion may be damaged otherwise, thereby affecting the stability of the floor cushion. Also, by means of the preferably planar connection, in particular adhesive bonding, of the at least two components, which can be automated cost-effectively and easily, the number of parts to be taken into account during the assembly of the large appliance can be reduced. The upwardly projecting flaps of the trough can immediately be made simultaneously during the production of the base cardboard of the trough, preferably by means of cutting and punching tools. The floor cushion can thus be supplied directly to the assembly line in the trough. The trough is preferably designed such that the floor cushions can be stacked one above the other in a form-fitting manner. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that at least one support element is arranged on the front region of the floor cushion, in particular introduced in a form-fitting manner, and that the support element contacts the large appliance in its front base region, in particular supports it in a form-fitting manner. In addition, in some designs of large-scale devices, supporting elements are required. The support elements are preferably connected to the large appliance in a positively locking manner and thereby have an influence on the force flow in the base region of the packaging, for example when stacking a plurality of large appliances. These support elements also have a function for the stability of the packaged large appliance. The support elements can optionally be made of plastic, for example by deep-drawing, or else of multilayer and subsequently punched corrugated cardboard. Furthermore, a respective support element can reject the basic shape of an angle, a column, a support and so forth. The components are mounted in the floor cushion and on the large appliance during the assembly process and are therefore not a direct component of the floor cushion. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that a hose guide for positioning a hose located on the large appliance is arranged, in particular introduced positively, in the rear region of the floor cushion during the assembly process. The hose guide, which can already be inserted into the floor cushion in the delivery state or during the assembly process of the large appliance, is required, for example, in a dishwasher in order to hold the hoses located at the rear of the dishwasher in position during the assembly process, that is to say before the outer casing is attached. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that a hose adapter for suctioning residual moisture present in the large device is arranged in the rear region of the floor cushion before delivery, in particular introduced in a form-fitting manner. The hose adapter, which can already be inserted into the floor cushion in the delivery state or during the assembly process of the large appliance, is required, for example, in a dishwasher in order to suck off residual moisture present in the dishwasher before delivery. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the at least two lateral clamp cushions are contoured and / or compressed on the inside in such a way that they introduce clamping forces and / or further forces generated by further transport load cases into adjacent and force-absorbing components and / or assemblies of the large appliance, such as a base carrier or a door hinge. The introduction of the clamping forces and / or the further forces generated by further transport load cases into adjacent and force-absorbing components and / or assemblies of the large appliance can be effected, for example, by direct contact with adjacent components and / or assemblies, in particular by larger contact surfaces, by "weakened" material and the like.Due to this preferred embodiment, it is possible to eliminate the provision of further force-absorbing and sometimes expensive components in the lower region of the large appliance, since clamping forces and / or further forces generated by further transport load cases are introduced directly and directly into adjacent force-absorbing components and / or assemblies of the large appliance by the lateral clamping cushions. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the at least two lateral clamp cushions are contoured and / or compressed on the inside in such a way that they do not introduce clamping forces and / or further forces generated by further transport load cases into adjacent and non-force-absorbing components and assemblies of the large appliance, such as a side wall.Due to this preferred embodiment, it can also be ensured in a process-safe manner that clamping forces and / or further forces generated by further transport load cases are not introduced into adjacent and non-force-absorbing components and / or assemblies of the large appliance. The avoidance of the introduction of the clamping forces and / or the further forces generated by further transport load cases into adjacent and force-absorbing components and / or assemblies of the large appliance can be effected, for example, by distances, in particular distance surfaces, free surfaces, free spaces and the like. The two lateral clamp cushions are mounted, not least for reasons of accessibility in the mounting sequence, preferably after the optional side walls of the large appliance have been suspended. The respective clamp cushion can be designed by trimming or compressing in such a way that the forces are only introduced into the device at the desired positions in order to prevent damage to the components of the large device that are involved in the force flow.In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the at least two lateral clamp cushions are designed such that they can be mounted only after the wall parts have been attached, in particular hung, in the assembly process of the large appliance, in particular can be inserted into the floor cushion on the right and left side, in particular in a form-fitting manner. The late assembly of the at least two lateral clamp cushions allows relatively free and unhindered access to the components and assemblies already mounted on the large appliance. In the case of necessary reworking on the large appliance, components which are not yet required but have already been mounted, such as the at least two lateral clamp cushions, would then not have to be removed. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the at least two lateral clamp cushions are inserted into the floor cushion on the right and left sides, in particular in a form-fitting manner, by means of a plug system, in particular a tongue and groove system. This type of assembly in the form of a plug-in arrangement allows rapid, sometimes error-free and simple assembly of the lateral clamp cushions. The at least two lateral clamp cushions can already be prepared for plugging during their production, for example by compression when a honeycomb panel is designed or by contouring when a multilayer sheet is designed. During the preparation of the at least two lateral clamp cushions, care can also already be taken to ensure a desired introduction of force at desired positions. By a desired introduction of force into the lateral clamp cushion, possible damage to the adjacent side wall of the large appliance can be prevented. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that at least one honeycomb cushion is attached, in particular glued, on the inside of the carrier plate of the roof cushion and / or that at least one clamping strip is provided for counter-supporting clamping forces, which is preferably attached, preferably glued, on the inside of the carrier plate of the roof cushion. The roof cushion thus preferably consists of several components, among other things a carrier plate, in particular a carrier plate made of corrugated cardboard, several honeycomb cushions and at least one clamping strip for counter support of clamping forces. If no honeycomb pad is attached to the roof area of the large appliance, for example a dishwasher, the overall height of the packaged large appliance is lower and the loading volume in the transport means can be utilized more efficiently. A measure of the efficiency of the load volume in the transport means is, for example, the number of packages in containers, cars and so forth. By using a higher number of packages per transport means, the number of transport units and thus also the costs and the resulting environmental loads can be reduced. The at least one clamping strip is preferably provided in integrated large appliances, in particular dishwashers, which do not have a functional plate on the top side, in particular a work plate, since it is provided here for the transmission of forces generated by transport load cases. In contrast, in free-standing large appliances, in particular dishwashers, usually no at least one clamping strip is provided, since an existing upper-side functional plate, in particular a work plate, is provided for the transmission of forces generated by transport load cases. In the case that such a honeycomb cushion is required in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) due to higher requirements on the transport packaging, such as roof joints and the like, this can be depicted specifically for these large appliances via a modular construction or a roof cushion variant. The upholstery and the wooden strips of the roof upholstery must be adapted to the interfaces of the different forms of apparatus, whereby in turn different component variants are required. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the respective corner strip has an L-shaped or approximately L-shaped cross section and / or that the respective corner strip is attached, in particular fixed in a positioning manner, to the floor cushion. The respective corner strip ensures the appropriate distance of the film from the large appliance and thereby generates the required film tension after the shrinking process. The corner strip can be made of wood or optionally also of other materials, such as cardboard. The L-shaped or approximately L-shaped cross section of the respective corner strip facilitates an additional positioning and fixing of the large appliance via its vertical edge. In principle, the respective corner strip can have any cross section; the corner edges can also have different cross sections. In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the film, in particular the shrink film or the stretch film, envelopes at least the in particular vertical side walls and the corner regions of a lower assembly and an upper assembly on the outside. In order to ensure the shrinking process of the preferably recyclable film and to meet the subsequent transport requirements of the packaged large appliance, a corner strip is required in each case in the corner regions of the packaging. The preferably recyclable film, in particular the shrink film or the stretch film, has a film thickness in the range from 30 μm to 75 μm, preferably in the range from 40 μm to 60 μm, in particular of about 50 μm. The preferably recyclable shrink film is preferably a polyethylene film, whereas the preferably recyclable stretch film is preferably produced on the basis of polyethylene. Recycling is usually referred to as the reprocessing of discarded valuable materials into a new product. The original product is destroyed precisely in the course of this, usually by comminution or melting processes, and the valuable material obtained thereby is used for producing new products. The above-described outer-side wrapping of the large appliance, in particular of the dishwasher, can additionally or alternatively also be effected by a carton-based wrapping, such as a folding box and the like. Such a carton-based wrapper can then be fixed with at least one wrapper tape if necessary.Further possible implementations of the invention also include combinations, not explicitly mentioned, of features or embodiments described above or below with respect to the exemplary embodiments. In this case, the person skilled in the art will also add individual aspects as improvements or additions to the respective basic form of the invention.Further advantageous embodiments and aspects of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims and of the exemplary embodiments of the packaging for large appliances described below.
