Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a vehicle pneumatic tire (10), comprising the process steps: a) manufacturing or providing a vehicle pneumatic tire (10) with a radially outer tread (12) and a radially inner tire inner layer (14), wherein the tire inner layer (14) comprises an attachment section (18) provided for the application of a noise-dampening layer (16), b) cleaning the tire inner layer (14) of the vehicle pneumatic tire (10) in the attachment section (18) using a material removal method, wherein the cleaning is carried out along a predetermined geometric pattern, such that the area fraction of the surface (22) thus cleaned is in the range of 0.4*AA to 0.8*AA, wherein AA is the radially inward-facing surface of the entire attachment section (18).and c) attaching the noise-dampening layer (16) in the attachment section (18) by creating a material-bonded connection using an adhesive (20), wherein the adhesive (20) at least partially contacts the cleaned surface (22).
