Description

STATE OF THE ART The present disclosure relates to a process for manufacturing a shaped product. For example, Japanese patent no. 7526364 describes a battery housing mounted on a vehicle. A cross brace is arranged inside the battery housing. The cross brace is a plate-shaped component that extends in the width of the vehicle. The cross brace has a ridge extending along the width of the vehicle. This ridge forms a ridge line of plate-shaped parts that abut each other over the ridge. Both ends of the cross brace are attached to the inner wall of the battery housing. Japanese patent no. 7526364 describes a method for bending a sheet material by roll forming to form the burr part on the sheet material, as a method for producing the cross brace. SUMMARY However, the crossbar manufactured according to the method described in Japanese patent no. 7526364 required brackets to attach the two ends of the crossbar to the inner wall of the battery housing. It is desirable that the crossbar could be attached to the inner wall of the battery housing without these brackets. It is also desirable that shaped products other than crossbars, which have a main body part underneath, can be attached to the inner wall of a battery housing without brackets. The main body part here is a plate-shaped part that extends in a specific direction and has a ridge section that is essentially formed along that specific direction. One aspect of the present disclosure provides for a method for manufacturing a shaped product that can be attached to various components without supports. One aspect of the present disclosure is a method for manufacturing a shaped product. The shaped product comprises a main body part and at least one flange part. The main body part is plate-shaped. The main body part extends in a longitudinal direction of the shaped product. The main body part has at least one ridge formed along its longitudinal direction. The at least one flange part is provided longitudinally at one end of the main body part. The method for producing the formed product comprises: (i) bending by roll forming of a longitudinally extending plate-shaped workpiece having at least one through-pass formed therein, in order to form at least one burr part on the workpiece such that the at least one burr part overlaps the at least one through-pass; (ii) cutting the workpiece on which the at least one burr part is formed along a cutting plane that intersects the longitudinal direction through the at least one through-pass, thereby producing a formed intermediate product comprising the main body part and at least one end part facing the at least one through-pass from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; and (iii) bending the at least one end part to form the at least one flange part on the formed intermediate product, thereby producing the formed product. With the above design, the shaped product can be achieved that can be attached to various components without brackets. One aspect of the present disclosure may further include forming the at least one through-section in the workpiece prior to bending the workpiece by roll forming. This design facilitates the production of shaped products of different dimensions in the longitudinal direction of the main body part. In one aspect of the present disclosure, the workpiece, as the at least one through-section, can have several through-sections arranged in a longitudinally intersecting direction. The workpiece, as the at least one burr section, can also have several burr sections formed such that each burr section overlaps with one of the several through-sections. Cutting the workpiece along the cutting plane intersecting the several through-sections can produce the formed intermediate product. With the foregoing embodiment, the formed product can be obtained that can be attached to various components without supports. One embodiment of the present disclosure may further include forming the multiple through-sections as the at least one through-section in the workpiece before bending the workpiece by roll forming. This design facilitates the production of shaped products of different dimensions in the longitudinal direction of the main body part. In one aspect of this disclosure, the workpiece can be made of high-strength steel. This design allows the workpiece to be bent by roll forming, producing a highly accurate, shaped product, which makes the shaped product even more useful. In one aspect of the present disclosure, the molded product may be a component mounted on a vehicle. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXAMPLE EXECUTION FORMS [1. First embodiment] [1-1. Design of the battery mounting structure] A battery mounting structure 1 shown in Fig. 1 is a structure for mounting a battery B in a vehicle. The battery mounting structure 1 is located in a lower part of the vehicle. The up-down, forward-backward, and left-right directions indicated in Figs. 1, 2 to 3 refer to the respective directions when the battery mounting structure 1 is installed in the vehicle. As shown in Fig. 1, the battery mounting structure 1 comprises a frame element 2, a cross member 3A, a lower cover element 4, and an upper cover element (not shown). Fig. 1 shows an example where the battery mounting structure 1 has two cross members 3A; however, the number of cross members included in the battery mounting structure is not specifically limited. For example, the battery mounting structure may have one cross member or several cross members. Frame element 2 is a frame-like element. Frame element 2 has a front part 21, a rear part 22, a left-side part 23, and a right-side part 24. The front part 21, the rear part 22, the left-side part 23, and the right-side part 24 are elongated parts that extend in a specific direction. For example, the front part 21, the rear part 22, the left-side part 23, and the right-side part 24 extend in a straight line. When the battery mounting structure 1 is installed in the vehicle, the front part 21 and the rear part 22 extend in the left-right direction of the vehicle. The rear part 22 is located further back in the vehicle than the front part 21. The front part 21 and the rear part 22 are spaced apart from each other. The distance between the front part 21 and the rear part 22 varies, for example, depending on the overall length of the vehicle. The lengths of the front part 21 and the rear part 22 in the left-right direction of the vehicle also vary, for example, depending on the overall width of the vehicle. When the battery mounting structure 1 is installed in the vehicle, the left-hand part 23 and the right-hand part 24 extend in the forward-backward direction of the vehicle. The left-hand part 23 connects a left end on the front part 21 to a left end on the rear part 22. The right-hand part 24 connects a right end on the front part 21 to a right end on the rear part 22. The left-hand part 23 and the right-hand part 24 are spaced apart from each other. This distance varies, for example, according to the overall length of the vehicle. As shown in Fig. 4, the cross member 3A is an elongated element extending in a specific direction. Hereinafter, the direction in which the cross member 3A extends is referred to as the "longitudinal direction D". The longitudinal direction D is, for example, a straight line. In the following description and drawings, one side in longitudinal direction D is designated as a first side and the other side as a second side. The same applies to a second embodiment and subsequent embodiments, which will be described later. As shown in Fig. 1, the cross brace 3A is configured to connect the left-hand part 23 to the right-hand part 24. When the battery mounting structure 1 is installed in the vehicle, the longitudinal direction D aligns, for example, with the left-right direction of the vehicle. Both ends of the cross brace 3A in the longitudinal direction D, namely two fixed end parts 32A and 33A described later, are attached to the left-hand part 23 and the right-hand part 24, respectively. If multiple cross braces 3A are configured, they are spaced apart from one another. The cross brace 3A will be described in further detail later. The lower cover element 4 is an element covering the lower part of a space enclosed by the frame element 2. Although not shown, the upper cover element is an element covering the upper part of the space enclosed by the frame element 2. If a single cross member 3A is present, the battery B is positioned at least between the front part 21 and the cross member 3A and / or between the rear part 22 and the cross member 3A. If multiple cross members 3A are present, the battery B is positioned at at least one of the following locations: between the front part 21 and the cross member 3A; between the rear part 22 and the cross member 3A; and between the cross members 3A. [1-2. Design of the cross brace] The cross brace 3A is described in detail with reference to Figures 1, 2, 3 to 4. The cross brace 3A is manufactured by forming the workpiece 5 described later. The cross brace 3A is an example of a formed product. As shown in Fig. 4, the cross member 3A comprises a main body part 31A, a first fixed end part 32A and a second fixed end part 33A. The main body part 31A is a plate-shaped part. The main body part 31A extends in the longitudinal direction D. The main body part 31A comprises a main body wall part 311, two side wall parts 312a and 312b, two main body flange parts 313a and 313b, and four ridge parts 314a to 314d. In the first embodiment, the two side wall parts 312a and 312b are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first side wall part 312a and the second side wall part 312b, respectively. The two main body flange parts 313a and 313b are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313b, respectively. The four ridge sections 314a to 314d are designated, for the sake of differentiation, as the first ridge section 314a, the second ridge section 314b, the third ridge section 314c and the fourth ridge section 314d. The main body wall part 311 is a plate-shaped part that extends in the longitudinal direction D. The main body wall part 311 is, for example, flat. The main body wall part 311 has two edges along the longitudinal direction D. In other words, the edges along the longitudinal direction D are edges that extend from the first side to the second side. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b are plate-shaped parts extending in the longitudinal direction D. The first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b are, for example, flat. The first side wall section 312a is connected along the longitudinal direction D via the first ridge section 314a to one of the two edges of the main body wall section 311. The second side wall section 312b is connected along the longitudinal direction D via the second ridge section 314b to the other of the two edges (in other words, the edge on the side opposite the first side wall section 312a) of the main body wall section 311. As shown in Figure 2, the first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b form an angle with respect to the main body wall section 311.The size of the angle formed between the main body wall section 311 and either the first side wall section 312a or the second side wall section 312b is not specifically limited. This angle is, for example, 90°. The first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b face each other at a distance. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the first ridge section 314a and the second ridge section 314b are plate-shaped parts extending in the longitudinal direction D. Cross-sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D of the first ridge section 314a and the second ridge section 314b are curved in an arc. The first ridge section 314a and the second ridge section 314b each form a ridge line of plate-shaped parts abutting each other along the ridge section in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. In particular, the first ridge section 314a connects the main body wall section 311 with the first side wall section 312a, forming a ridge line between them. The second ridge section 314b connects the main body wall section 311 with the second side wall section 312b, forming a ridge line between them. As shown in Fig. 2, the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, and the second side wall part 312b, together with the first ridge part 314a and the second ridge part 314b, form a region with a substantially U-shaped cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. Hereinafter, a space enclosed on three sides by the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, and the second side wall part 312b is referred to as the interior space S1. A side facing the interior space S1 with respect to the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, and the second side wall part 312b is referred to as the inside of the main body part 31A. A side opposite the side facing the interior S1 with respect to the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a and the second side wall part 312b is referred to as an outer surface of the main body part 31A. As shown in Fig. 3 and Fig.As shown in Figure 4, the cross-sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D of the first ridge part 314a and the second ridge part 314b are curved in an arc shape, so that the first ridge part 314a and the second ridge part 314b curve towards the outside of the main body part 31A. The first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313b are plate-shaped parts extending in the longitudinal direction D. The first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313b are, for example, flat. As shown in Fig. 4, the first main body flange part 313a extends over the third ridge part 314c with an edge of the first side wall part 312a opposite the main body wall part 311. The first main body flange part 313a is located on the outside of the main body part 31A with respect to the first side wall part 312a. In other words, the first main body flange part 313a is arranged transversely across the first side wall part 312a on a side opposite the main body wall part 311. As shown in Fig. 2, the first main body flange part 313a forms an angle with the first side wall part 312a. The first main body flange part 313a runs, for example, parallel to the main body wall part 311.If the first main body flange part 313a runs parallel to the main body wall part 311 and if an angle formed between the main body wall part 311 and the first side wall part 312a is 90°, then the angle formed between the first main body flange part 313a and the first side wall part 312a is also 90°. As shown in Fig. 3, the second main body flange part 313b extends over the fourth ridge part 314d with an edge of the second side wall part 312b opposite the main body wall part 311. The second main body flange part 313a is arranged on the outside of the main body part 31A with respect to the second side wall part 312b. In other words, the second main body flange part 313b is arranged transversely across the second side wall part 312b on a side opposite the main body wall part 311. As shown in Fig. 2, the second main body flange part 313b forms an angle with the second side wall part 312b. The second main body flange part 313b runs, for example, parallel to the main body wall part 311.If the second main body flange part 313b runs parallel to the main body wall part 311 and if an angle formed between the main body wall part 311 and the second side wall part 312b is 90°, then the angle formed between the second main body flange part 313b and the second side wall part 312b is also 90°. As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the third ridge section 314c and the fourth ridge section 314d are plate-shaped parts extending in the longitudinal direction D. Cross-sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D of the third ridge section 314c and the fourth ridge section 314d are curved in an arc. In particular, the cross-sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D of the third ridge section 314c and the fourth ridge section 314d are curved in an arc to arch towards the inside of the main body part 31A. The third ridge section 314c and the fourth ridge section 314d each form a ridge line of plate-shaped parts abutting each other along the ridge section in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. In particular, the third ridge section 314c connects the first side wall part 312a to the first main body flange part 313a, forming a ridge line between them. The second ridge section 314b connects the second side wall section 312b with the second main body flange section 313b, forming a ridge line between them. As shown in Fig. 4, the first fixed end part 32A is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31A. The first fixed end part 32A comprises an end piece part 321 and two end flange parts 322a and 322b. In the first embodiment, the two end flange parts 322a and 322b are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 322a and the second end flange part 322b, respectively. The end piece part 321, the first end flange part 322a, and the second end flange part 322b are, for example, planar. The end piece 321 extends from the first side edge of the main body wall piece 311 towards the first side. The end piece 321 forms a continuous plane with the main body wall piece 311. There is no height difference between the end piece 321 and the main body wall piece 311. The first end flange part 322a extends from the first side edge of the first side wall part 312a towards the outside of the main body part 31A. In other words, the first end flange part 322a extends away from the second side wall part 312b. The first end flange part 322a intersects the longitudinal direction D. For example, the first end flange part 322a runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. As shown in Fig. 3, the second end flange part 322b extends from the first side edge of the second side wall part 312b towards the outside of the main body part 31A. In other words, the second end flange part 322b extends away from the first side wall part 312a. The second end flange part 322b intersects the longitudinal direction D. For example, the second end flange part 322b runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. As shown in Fig. 4, the second fixed end part 33A is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31A. The second fixed end part 33A has an end piece part 331 and two end flange parts 332a, 332b. In the first embodiment, the two end flange parts 332a and 332b are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 332a and the second end flange part 332b, respectively. The end piece part 331, the first end flange part 332a, and the second end flange part 332b are, for example, planar. The end piece 331 extends further towards the second side from the second side edge of the main body wall piece 311. The end piece 331 forms a continuous plane with the main body wall piece 311. There is no height difference between the end piece 331 and the main body wall piece 311. The first end flange part 332a extends from the second side edge of the first side wall part 312a towards the outside of the main body part 31A. In other words, the first end flange part 332a extends away from the second side wall part 312b. The first end flange part 332a intersects the longitudinal direction D. For example, the first end flange part 332a runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end flange part 332b extends from the second side edge of the second side wall part 312b towards the outside of the main body part 31A. In other words, the second end flange part 332b extends away from the first side wall part 312a. The second end flange part 332b intersects the longitudinal direction D. For example, the second end flange part 332b runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. As shown in Fig. 1, the cross member 3A is configured to connect the left-hand part 23 with the right-hand part 24 in the frame element 2. As shown in Fig. 2, the cross member 3A is arranged such that the main body wall part 311 points upwards and the first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313b point downwards. The first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313b are attached to the lower cover element 4, for example by welding. As shown in Fig. 3, the first fixed end part 32A of the cross member 3A is attached to the left side part 23 of the frame element 2. In particular, the end part 321 is attached to an upper surface of the left side part 23, for example by welding. The first main body flange part 322a and the second main body flange part 322b are attached to a side surface of the left-side part 23, for example by welding. As shown in Fig. 1, the first fixed end part 33A of the cross member 3A is attached to the right-hand part 24 of the frame element 2. Although not shown, the end piece part 331 is attached to an upper surface of the right-hand part 24, for example by welding. The first end flange part 332a and the second end flange part 332b are attached to a side surface of the right-hand part 24, for example by welding. [1-3. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] A method for manufacturing the cross brace 3A is described with reference to Figures 5 to 10D. The cross brace 3A is manufactured from the workpiece 5 shown in Figure 5. The workpiece 5 is a plate-shaped element extending in the longitudinal direction D. The workpiece 5 is, for example, flat. The workpiece 5 is made of metal. As an example, the workpiece 5 is high-strength steel (so-called high-strength material). High-strength steel is steel with a tensile strength of at least 980 MPa or more, for example, 1180 MPa or higher. The workpiece 5 is, for example, a high-strength steel with a tensile strength of 1430 MPa. The process for manufacturing the cross member 3A includes a punching operation, a roll forming operation, a cutting operation and a bending operation. [1-3-1. Punching process] As shown in Fig. 5, during the punching process, at least one opening group 51A is formed in the workpiece 5 by a punch (not shown). The opening group 51A includes at least one through-hole. The through-hole is an opening that penetrates the workpiece 5 in its thickness direction. The opening group 51A of the first embodiment has at least one through-hole section comprising two through-holes 511a, 511b and two incisions 512a, 512b. In other words, during the punching process of the first embodiment, at least one through-hole section comprising two through-holes 511a, 511b and two incisions 512a, 512b is formed in the workpiece 5. In the first embodiment, the two through-holes 511a and 511b are referred to as the first through-hole 511a and the second through-hole 511b, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The two incisions 512a and 512b are referred to as the first incision 512a and the second incision 512b, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first through-hole 511a and the second through-hole 511b are openings where the edges of the workpiece 5 forming the through-holes 511a and 511b are continuous along the entire circumference enclosing the through-holes 511a and 511b. The first notch 512a and the second notch 512b are openings where the edges of the workpiece 5 forming the notches 512a and 512b are not continuous along the entire circumference of the notches 512a and 512b. In other words, the first notch 512a and the second notch 512b are openings that are each formed by cutting out a portion of an edge of the workpiece 5. The first through hole 511a, the second through hole 511b, the first cut 512a and the second cut 512b are in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction D (e.g.in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D) in the order first cut 512a, first through hole 511a, second through hole 511b and second cut 512b. As indicated by the white-filled arrows in Figures 5 and 6, the workpiece 5 is fed to the first side from the second side while being punched by the die. Several opening groups 51A are formed in the workpiece 5. The several opening groups 51A are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction D. The distance between the opening groups 51A is equal to the dimension of the main body part 31A in the longitudinal direction D. [1-3-2. Roll forming process] As shown in Fig. 5, the roll forming process follows the punching process. In the roll forming process, roll forming is carried out on the workpiece 5, in which the opening groups 51A were formed during the punching process. The workpiece 5 is guided between several sets of profiling rolls 101 to 105 and gradually bent, as shown in Fig. 6. This forms at least one burr section along the longitudinal direction D on the workpiece 5. The at least one burr section is designed to extend along the longitudinal direction D. The at least one burr section is designed to intersect at least one through section. Intersecting a specific burr section with a specific through section means that at least a portion of the edge of the workpiece 5 forming this specific through section is formed by this specific burr section. In the first embodiment, during the preceding punching process, the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first incision 512a, and the second incision 512b are formed as at least one through-hole section. Therefore, during the subsequent roll forming process, the workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, and the first to fourth burr sections 314a to 314d are formed on the workpiece 5. More precisely, workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, as described in steps (A-1) to (A-4) below. (A-1) Workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the first side wall section 312a forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the main body wall section 311. If this bending is carried out subsequently or parallel to the process described in step (A-2) below, it can also be said that workpiece 5 is bent such that the portion corresponding to the first side wall section 312a faces the portion corresponding to the second side wall section 312b. By bending workpiece 5 in step (A-1), the first burr section 314a is formed on workpiece 5. The first burr section 314a is designed to intersect the first through-hole 511a. The first burr section 314a extends along the longitudinal direction D.(A-2) The workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second side wall part 312b forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the main body wall part 311. If this bending is carried out following or parallel to the preceding step (A-1), it can also be said that the workpiece 5 is bent such that the portion corresponding to the second side wall part 312b faces the portion corresponding to the first side wall part 312b. By bending the workpiece 5 in step (A-2), the second burr portion 314b is formed on the workpiece 5. The second burr portion 314b is designed to intersect the second through-hole 511b. The second burr section 314b extends along the longitudinal direction D.(A-3) The workpiece 5 is bent such that a part corresponding to the first main body flange section 313a forms an angle with a part corresponding to the first side wall section 312a.At this point, workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the first main body flange part 313b does not face the portion corresponding to the main body wall part 311. Bending workpiece 5 in step (A-3) forms the third burr 314c on workpiece 5. The third burr 314c is designed to intersect the first notch 512a. The third burr 314c extends along the longitudinal direction D. (A-4) Workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second main body flange part 313b forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the second side wall part 312b. At this point, workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second main body flange part 313b does not face the portion corresponding to the main body wall part 311. Bending workpiece 5 in step (A-4) forms the fourth burr part 314c on workpiece 5.The fourth ridge section 314c is designed to intersect the second notch 512b. The fourth ridge section 314d extends along the longitudinal direction D. The preceding steps (A-1) to (A-4) can be carried out individually, or at least two of them can be carried out in parallel. In the first embodiment, steps (A-1) and (A-2) are started simultaneously, and then steps (A-3) and (A-4) are also carried out in parallel from a certain point during the execution of steps (A-1) and (A-2). A portion of workpiece 5 located between the first ridge section 314a and the second ridge section 314b corresponds to the main body wall section 311. A portion of workpiece 5 located between the first ridge section 314a and the third ridge section 314c corresponds to the first side wall section 312a. A portion of workpiece 5 located between the second ridge section 314b and the fourth ridge section 314d corresponds to the second side wall section 312b. A portion of workpiece 5 extending over the third ridge section 314c and the first side wall section 312a corresponds to the first main body flange section 313a. A portion of workpiece 5 extending over the fourth ridge section 314d and the second side wall section 312b corresponds to the second main body flange section 313b.By forming the first to fourth burr sections 314a to 314d on the workpiece 5, the main body wall section 311, the first side wall section 312a, the second side wall section 312b, the first main body flange section 313a and the second main body flange section 313b are also formed on the workpiece 5. In other words, the main body section 31A is formed on the workpiece 5. The roll forming process can be carried out as a continuous process with the punching process, as shown in Fig. 5, or it can be carried out as a process independent of the punching process. [1-3-3. Cutting process] Following the roll forming process, the cutting process is carried out. As shown in Figs. 7A and 7B, during the cutting process the workpiece 5, which has at least one burr formed during the roll forming process (in the first embodiment burr parts 314a to 314d), is cut along a cutting plane C. The cutting plane C is an imaginary plane passing through the opening group 51A and intersecting the longitudinal direction D. If there is only one through-piece forming the opening group 51A, the cutting plane C passing through the opening group 51A means that the cutting plane C passes through this single through-piece. If there are multiple through-pieces forming the opening group 51A, the cutting plane C passing through the opening group 51A means that the cutting plane C passes through all of the multiple through-pieces. The cutting plane C passing through a specific through-piece can also be described as having at least one intersection point with an edge of the workpiece 5 forming that specific through-piece. The cutting plane C of the first embodiment passes through the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first notch 512a, and the second notch 512b. More precisely, the cutting plane C of the first embodiment passes through the center of each of the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first notch 512a, and the second notch 512b in the longitudinal direction D. The cutting plane C is, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. In Fig. 8A, positions where the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5, i.e., positions where the workpiece 5 is cut, are indicated by dashed lines with two dots. As shown in Figs. 7A and 7B, cutting the workpiece 5 at the cutting plane C passing through each opening group 51A results in a portion of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C being obtained as a formed intermediate part 6A. The formed intermediate part 6A comprises the main body part 31A described above, a first end-cut part 61A, and a second end-cut part 62A. The first cutting end section 61A is provided at the first side end of the main body section 31A. Four notches 611a to 611d are formed in the first cutting end section 61A. In the first embodiment, the four notches 611a to 611d are each designated as the first to fourth notch 611a to 611d for differentiation. The first to fourth notches 611a to 611d are openings that correspond to the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first notch 512a, and the second notch 512b, respectively, before cutting. As shown in Fig. 10A, the first end section 61A has three end sections 321, 612a and 612b. In the first embodiment, the three end sections 321, 612a, and 612b are designated as first end section 321, second end section 612a and third end section 612b for the sake of differentiation. The first end piece 321 is a feature that is retained in the finished cross member 3A. As described above, the end piece 321 is a flat part that extends from the first side edge of the main body wall part 311 further towards the first side. The first end piece 321 lies in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the first cut 611a and the second cut 611b. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the first end piece 321 faces the first cut 611a and the second cut 611b. The second end piece 612a is a plate-shaped part that extends from the first side edge of the first side wall part 312a further towards the first side. The second end piece 612a is, for example, flat. The second end piece 612a lies in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the first cut 611a and the third cut 611c. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the second end piece 612a faces the first cut 611a and the third cut 611c. The third end piece 612b is a plate-shaped part that extends from the first side edge of the second side wall part 312b further towards the first side. The third end piece 612b is, for example, flat. The third end piece 612b lies in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the second cutout 611b and the fourth cutout 611d. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the second end piece 612b faces the second cutout 611b and the fourth cutout 611d. As shown in Fig. 7B, the second cutting end 62A is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31A. Four notches 621a to 621d are formed in the second cutting end 62A. In the first embodiment, the four notches 621a to 621d are each designated as the first to fourth notch 621a to 621d for differentiation. As shown in Figs. 7A and 7B, the first to fourth notches 621a to 621d correspond to openings that correspond to the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first notch 512a, and the second notch 512b, respectively, before cutting. As shown in Fig. 8B, the second end section 62A has three end sections 331, 622a and 622b. In the first embodiment, the three end sections 331, 622a, and 622b are designated as first end section 331, second end section 622a and third end section 622b for the sake of distinction. The first end piece 331 is a feature that is retained in the finished cross member 3A. As described above, the end piece 331 is a flat part that extends from the second side edge of the main body wall part 311 towards the second side. The first end piece 331 lies in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the first cut 621a and the second cut 621b. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the first end piece 331 faces the first cut 621a and the second cut 621b. The second end piece section 622a is a flat section that extends from the first side edge of the first side wall section 312a towards the second side. The second end piece section 622a lies in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the first cutout 621a and the third cutout 621c. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the second end piece section 622a faces the first cutout 621a and the third cutout 621c. The third end piece 622b is a flat part that extends from the second side edge of the second side wall part 312b further towards the second side. The third end piece 622b lies in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D between the second cutout 621b and the fourth cutout 621d. In other words, from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D, the third end piece 622b faces the second cutout 621b and the fourth cutout 621d. [1-3-4. Bending process] Following the cutting process, the bending process is carried out. As shown in Figures 9A and 9B, during the bending process at least one of the end pieces 321, 331, 612a, 612b, 622a, 622b is bent on the formed intermediate product 6A, and at least one flange piece is formed on the formed intermediate product 6A. At least one of the end pieces 321, 331, 612a, 612b, 622a, 622b is bent towards the outside of the main body part 31A. A method for bending at least one of the end-piece parts 321, 331, 612a, 612b, 622a, 622b is not specifically restricted. For example, a single-acting press may be used to bend at least one of these, or a step press employing a cam-operated control mechanism or the like. As shown in Figures 10A to 10D, in the first embodiment the second end pieces 612a, 622a and the third end pieces 612b, 622b are bent to form the first end flange pieces 322a, 332a and the second end flange pieces 322b, 332b on the formed intermediate product 6A. This results in the cross member 3A shown in Figure 4. [1-4. Effects] According to the first embodiment described in detail above, the following effects can be achieved.(1a) The method for producing the cross member 3A comprises the roll forming process, the cutting process, and the bending process. In the roll forming process, the workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming after the punching process, thereby forming at least one burr (in the first embodiment, burr parts 314a to 314d) on the workpiece 5. The workpiece 5 is then cut along the cutting plane C in the cutting process, and a shaped intermediate product 6A is produced. Then, in the subsequent bending process, at least one of the end parts 321, 331, 612a, 612b, 622a, 622b (in the first embodiment, the second end parts 612a, 622a and the third end parts 612b, 622b) is bent to produce the cross member 3A. With this configuration, the cross brace 3A can be achieved, wherein the first end flange parts 322a, 332a and the second end flange parts 322b, 332b are provided at both ends of the main body part 31A in the longitudinal direction D. The first end flange parts 322a, 332a and the second end flange parts 322b, 332b enable both ends of the cross brace 3A to be attached to the frame element 2 in the longitudinal direction D. Consequently, it is possible to achieve the cross brace 3A in which both ends can be fixed to the frame member 2 in the longitudinal direction D without supports. (1b) For the cross member 3A, the longitudinal dimension D of the main body part 31A may need to vary in accordance with the overall width of the vehicle. For example, if an attempt were made to produce the cross members 3A with different longitudinal dimensions D of the main body part 31A solely by compression molding, separate molds would be required for each dimension. In contrast, the manufacturing process of the first embodiment further includes a punching operation. During the punching operation, at least one through-hole (in the first embodiment, the first through-hole 511a, the second through-hole 511b, the first cut 512a, and the second cut 512b) is formed in the workpiece 5. With this design, the longitudinal dimension D of the main body part 31A can be easily changed by altering the position of the through-hole in the longitudinal direction D and consequently by changing the position at which the workpiece 5 is cut during the cutting operation. Therefore, it becomes easy to produce cross members 3A with different dimensions in the longitudinal direction D. If, as in the first embodiment, the workpiece 5 is fed in a specific direction by the punch during punching, it is possible to change the position of the through hole in the longitudinal direction D by changing the feed rate of the workpiece 5 and / or the interval of the operation of the punch. (1c) In the roll forming process, the workpiece 5 undergoes roll forming to form the main body part 31A. This design allows for a smaller angular error between the first side wall part 312a or the second side wall part 312b and the main body wall part 311 compared to a design in which the main body part 31A is formed by compression forming. This is because, during roll forming, the workpiece 5 is progressively bent by several sets of roll forming rollers 101 to 105 to form the main body part 31A. According to the manufacturing process of the first embodiment, the cross member 3A can be produced with even higher precision. (1d) For example, workpiece 5 is made of high-strength steel. In this case, it is likely that springback will occur when the main body part 31A is formed by compression forming. That is, the angular error between the first side wall part 312a or the second side wall part 312b and the main body wall part 311 will tend to be large. If workpiece 5 is made of high-strength steel, forming the main body part 31A by roll forming, as in the manufacturing process of the first embodiment, is therefore even more advantageous in order to achieve the effect described in (1c). (1e) For example, in an embodiment where the main body part 31A is formed by compression molding, the angle of the first side wall part 312a or the second side wall part 312b with respect to the main body wall part 311 must be greater than 90°, since release from the mold is required after forming. In contrast, if the main body part 31A is formed by roll forming, as in the roll forming process of the first embodiment, release from the mold is not required. Therefore, the angle between the first side wall part 312a or the second side wall part 312b with respect to the main body wall part 311 can be set to any desired angle. For example, this angle can be set to 90°. If this angle is 90°, the proportion of the cross member 3A occupying the space enclosed by the frame element 2 can be reduced if the cross member 3A is placed inside the frame element 2.Consequently, the area available for placing battery B can be increased. [2. Second embodiment] [2-1. Design of the cross brace] The second embodiment has a basic design similar to the first embodiment; therefore, the differences are described below. It should be noted that reference numbers identical to those of the first embodiment indicate identical components, and reference should be made to the preceding description. A cross member 3B of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 11 comprises a main body part 31B, a first fixed end part 32B and a second fixed end part 33B. The main body part 31B comprises the main body wall part 311, the side wall part 312a, and the ridge part 314a, which have been described above. A cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D in the main body part 31B essentially has an L-shape. In this embodiment, the inner and outer sides of the main body part 31B refer to an inner angle and an outer angle of the L-shape, respectively. The same applies to a third embodiment described later. The first fixed end part 32B is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31B. The first fixed end part 32B has two end flange parts 322c and 322d. In the second embodiment, the two end flange parts 322c and 322d are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 322c and the second end flange part 322d, respectively. The first end flange part 322c extends from the first side edge of the main body wall part 311 towards the outside of the main body part 31B. The first end flange part 322c is, for example, planar. The first end flange part 322c intersects the longitudinal direction D. The first end flange part 322c runs, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end flange part 322d has a design that is essentially identical to that of the first end flange part 322a of the first embodiment. However, in the second embodiment, the ratio of the dimension of the second end flange part 322d along an edge of the side wall part 312a to the dimension of the edge of the side wall part 312a is greater than the ratio of the dimension of the first end flange part 322a along the edge of the side wall part 312a to the dimension of the edge of the side wall part 312a in the first embodiment. The edge of the side wall part 312a is here the first side edge of the side wall part 312a. The second fixed end part 33B is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31B. The second fixed end part 33B has two end flange parts 332c and 332d. In the second embodiment, the two end flange parts 332c and 332d are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 332c and the second end flange part 332d, respectively. The first end flange part 332c extends from the second side edge of the main body wall part 311 towards the outside of the main body part 31B. The first end flange part 332c is, for example, planar. The first end flange part 332c intersects the longitudinal direction D. The first end flange part 332c runs, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end flange part 332d of the second embodiment has a design that is essentially identical to that of the first end flange part 332a of the first embodiment. However, in the second embodiment, the ratio of the dimension of the second end flange part 332d along an edge of the side wall part 312a to the dimension of the edge of the side wall part 312a is greater than the ratio of the dimension of the first end flange part 332a along the edge of the side wall part 312a to the dimension of the edge of the side wall part 312a in the first embodiment. The edge of the side wall part 312a is here the second side edge of the side wall part 312a. Similar to the first embodiment, the first fixed end part 32B and the second fixed end part 33B of the cross member 3B are attached to the frame element 2. In particular, the first end flange parts 322c, 332c and the second end flange parts 322d, 332d are attached to the frame element 2. [2-2. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] A method for producing the cross member 3B of the second embodiment also includes a punching operation, a roll forming operation, a cutting operation and a bending operation as in the first embodiment. [2-2-1. Punching process] The punching process of the second embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the punching process of the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 12A, an opening group 51B has only the through-hole 511a described above as at least one through-hole. In other words, in the punching process of the second embodiment, only the through-hole 511a is formed in the workpiece 5. Fig. 12A shows the position at which the workpiece 5 is bent to form the burr part 314a in the subsequent roll forming process, which is indicated by a dashed line with two dots. [2-2-2. Roll forming process] The roll forming process of the second embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the roll forming process of the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 12B, only the burr portion 314a is formed on the workpiece 5 by roll forming after the punching process. That is, only the preceding step (A-1) is carried out. [2-2-3. Cutting process] The cutting process of the second embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the second embodiment, the opening group 51B has only one through-hole 511a. Therefore, the cutting plane C of the second embodiment is a virtual plane that passes only through the through-hole 511a and intersects the longitudinal direction D (e.g., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D). Although the cutting plane C of the second embodiment is not shown, Fig. 12B indicates, with a dashed line with two points as a reference, the position at which the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5 after the roll forming process. The workpiece 5 is cut at the cutting plane C that intersects each opening group 51B. As a result, the part of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C is obtained as a formed intermediate product 6B, as shown in Fig. 12C. The formed intermediate product 6B has the main body part 31B described above, a first end-cut part 61B, and a second end-cut part 62B. The first cutting end part 61B is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31B. The notch 611a described above is formed in the first cutting end part 61B. The first cutting end part 61B has two end part parts 612c and 612d. In the second embodiment, the two end part parts 612c and 612d are referred to as the first end part 612c and the second end part 612d, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first end part 612c has a design that is essentially identical to that of the first end part 321 of the first embodiment. However, the first end part 612c of the second embodiment faces only the notch 611a. The second end piece part 612d of the second embodiment has a design that is essentially identical to that of the second end piece part 612a of the first embodiment. However, the second end piece part 612d of the second embodiment faces only the notch 611a. The second cutting end part 62B is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31B. The second cutting end part 62B has the incision 621a described above. The second cutting end part 62B has two end part parts 622c and 622d. In the second embodiment, the two end part parts 622c and 622d are referred to as the first end part 622c and the second end part 622d, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first end part 622c has a design that is essentially identical to that of the first end part 331 of the first embodiment. However, the first end part 622c of the second embodiment faces only the notch 621a. The second end part 622d of the second embodiment has a design that is essentially identical to that of the second end part 622a of the first embodiment. However, the second end part 622d of the second embodiment faces only the notch 621a. [2-2-4. Bending process] The bending process of the second embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. As shown in Figures 12C to 12D, in the bending process of the second embodiment, the first end pieces 612c, 622c and the second end pieces 612d, 622d are bent, and the first end flange pieces 322c, 332c and the second end flange pieces 322d, 332d are formed on the shaped intermediate product 6B. As a result, the cross member 3B shown in Figure 11 is obtained. [2-3. Effects] The second embodiment, described in detail above, achieves the same effects as the first embodiment. [3. Third embodiment] [3-1. Design of the cross brace] The third embodiment has a basic design similar to the second embodiment; therefore, the differences are described below. It should be noted that identical reference numbers as in the first and second embodiments indicate identical configurations, and reference should be made to the preceding descriptions. As shown in Fig. 13, a cross member 3C of the third embodiment comprises a main body part 31C, a first fixed end part 32C and a second fixed end part 33C. The main body part 31C comprises the main body wall part 311, the side wall part 312a, and the ridge part 314a, as well as two main body flange parts 313a and 313c and two ridge parts 314c and 314e. In the third embodiment, the two main body flange parts 313a and 313c are, for the sake of distinction, each designated as the first main body flange part 313a and the second main body flange part 313c, respectively. The first main body flange part 313a is detailed as in the first embodiment. In the third embodiment, the three ridge parts 314a, 314c, and 314e are, for the sake of distinction, each designated as the first to third ridge part 314a, 314c, and 314e, respectively. The first ridge part 314a and the second ridge part 314c are, as described in detail in the first embodiment, like the first ridge part 314a and the third ridge part 314c. The second main body flange part 313c is a plate-shaped part extending in the longitudinal direction D. The second main body flange part 313c is, for example, flat. The second main body flange part 313c extends over the third ridge part 314e with the edge of the main body wall part 311 opposite the main body wall part 312a. The second main body flange part 313c is located on the outside of the main body part 31C with respect to the second main body wall part 311. In other words, the second main body flange part 313c is located on the side opposite the side wall part 312a, extending transversely across the main body wall part 311. The second main body flange part 313c, for example, forms an angle with the main body wall part 311. The angle formed between the main body wall part 311 and the second main body flange part 313c is, for example, 90°. The third ridge section 314e is a plate-shaped section extending in the longitudinal direction D. A cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D of the third ridge section 314e is curved in an arc and arches towards the inside of the main body section 31C. The third ridge section 314e connects the main body wall section 311 with the second main body flange section 313c to form a ridge line between them. The first fixed end part 32C is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31C. The first fixed end part 32C has two end flange parts 322e and 322a. In the third embodiment, the two end flange parts 322e and 322a are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 322e and the second end flange part 322a, respectively. The first end flange part 322e extends from the first side edge of the main body wall part 311 towards the outside of the main body part 31C. The first end flange part 322e is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The first end flange part 322e intersects the longitudinal direction D. The first end flange part 322e, for example, runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end flange part 322a is like the first end flange part 322a described in detail in the first embodiment. The second fixed end part 33C is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31C. The second fixed end part 33C has two end flange parts 332e and 332a. In the third embodiment, the two end flange parts 332e and 332a are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end flange part 332e and the second end flange part 332a, respectively. The first end flange part 332e extends from the second side edge of the main body wall part 311 towards the outside of the main body part 31C. The first end flange part 332e is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The first end flange part 332e intersects the longitudinal direction D. The first end flange part 332e runs, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end flange part 332a is identical to the first end flange part 332a detailed in the first embodiment. Similar to the second embodiment, the first fixed end part 32C and the second fixed end part 33C of the cross member 3C are attached to the frame element 2. In particular, the first end flange parts 322e, 332e and the second end flange parts 322a, 332a are attached to the frame element 2. [3-2. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] The method for manufacturing the cross member 3C of the third embodiment also includes a punching operation, a roll forming operation, a cutting operation and a bending operation as in the second embodiment. [3-2-1. Punching process] The punching process of the third embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the punching process of the third embodiment, an opening group 51C, as shown in Fig. 14A, includes at least one through-hole section with a through-hole 511a and two incisions 512a, 512c. In other words, during the punching process of the third embodiment, the through-hole 511a and two incisions 512a, 512c are formed in the workpiece 5. In the third embodiment, the two incisions 512a and 512c are designated as the first incision 512a and the second incision 512c, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The through hole 511a, the first cut 512a and the second cut 512c are arranged in the longitudinal direction D cutting direction (e.g. in direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D) in the order first cut 512a, through hole 511a and second cut 512c. Fig. 14A shows with dashed lines with two dots the positions at which the workpiece 5 is bent during the subsequent roll forming process to form the first to third burr part 314a, 314c and 314e. [3-2-2. Roll forming process] The roll forming process of the third embodiment is essentially similar to that of the second embodiment. However, in the roll forming process of the third embodiment, as shown in Fig. 14B, the first to third burr sections 314a, 314c and 314e are formed on the workpiece 5 by roll forming. More precisely, workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, as described in the preceding steps (A-1) and (A-3) and in the following step (C-1). The steps described in the preceding steps (A-1) and (A-3) and in the following step (C-1) can be carried out sequentially, or at least two of them can be carried out in parallel. (C-1) The workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second main body flange part 313c forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the main body wall part 311. At this point, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second main body flange part 313c does not face the portion corresponding to the side wall part 312a. By bending the workpiece 5 as described in step (C-1), the third burr 314e is formed on the workpiece 5. The third burr 314e is designed to intersect with the second notch 512b. The third burr 314e extends along the longitudinal direction D. A part of the workpiece 5, which extends over the third burr part 314e to the main body wall part 311, corresponds to the second main body flange part 313c. [3-2-3. Cutting process] The cutting process of the third embodiment is essentially similar to that of the second embodiment. However, in the third embodiment, the opening group 51C has a through hole 511a, a first cut 512a, and a second cut 512c. Therefore, the cutting plane C of the third embodiment is an imaginary plane that passes through the through hole 511a, the first cut 512a, and the second cut 512c and intersects the longitudinal direction D (e.g., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D). Although the cutting plane C of the third embodiment is not shown, Fig. 14B indicates, with a dashed line with two points as a reference, the position at which the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5 after the roll forming process. The workpiece 5 is cut at the cutting plane C that intersects each opening group 51C. As a result, a portion of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C is obtained as a formed intermediate product 6C shown in Fig. 14C. The formed intermediate product 6C comprises the main body part 31C described above, a first cut end part 61C, and a second cut end part 62C. The first cutting end 61C is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31C. Three incisions 611a, 611c, and 611e are formed in the first cutting end 61C. In the third embodiment, the three incisions 611a, 611c, and 611e are designated as the first to third incisions 611a, 611c, and 611e, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first incision 611a and the second incision 611c are identical to the first incision 611a and third incision 611c described in detail for the first embodiment. The third incision 611e is an opening that corresponds to the second incision 512c before cutting. The first end section 61C has two end sections 612e and 612a. In the third embodiment, the two end sections 612e and 612a are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end section 612e and the second end section 612a, respectively. The first end section 612e of the third embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the first end section 321 of the first embodiment. The first end section 612e of the third embodiment faces the first notch 611a and the third notch 611e from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end section 612a is described in detail as in the first embodiment. The second cutting end 62C is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31C. Three incisions 621a, 621c, and 621e are formed in the first cutting end 62C. In the third embodiment, the three incisions 621a, 621c, and 621e are designated as the first to third incisions 621a, 621c, and 621e, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first incision 621a and the second incision 621c are identical to the first incision 621a and third incision 621c detailed in the first embodiment. The third incision 621e is an opening that corresponds to the second incision 512c before cutting. The second end section 62C has two end sections 622e and 622a. In the third embodiment, the two end sections 622e and 622a are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first end section 622e and the second end section 622a, respectively. The first end section 622e of the third embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the first end section 331 of the first embodiment. The first end section 622e of the third embodiment faces the first notch 621a and the third notch 621e from the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second end section 622a is described in detail as in the first embodiment. [3-2-4. Bending process] As shown in Figures 14C and 14D, in the bending process of the third embodiment, the first end pieces 612e, 622e and the second end pieces 612a, 622a are bent as in the second embodiment. This forms the first end flange pieces 322e, 332e and the second end flange pieces 322a, 332a on the formed intermediate product 6C. As a result, the cross member 3C shown in Figure 13 is obtained. [3-3. Effects] According to the third embodiment described in detail above, similar effects are achieved as in the second embodiment. [4. Fourth embodiment] [4-1. Design of the cross brace] The fourth embodiment has a design similar to the first embodiment. Therefore, the differences are described below. It should be noted that identical reference numbers as in the first to third embodiments indicate identical designs, and reference should be made to the preceding descriptions. As shown in Fig. 15, a cross member 3D of the fourth embodiment comprises a main body part 31D, a first fixed end part 32D and a second fixed end part 33D. The main body part 31D is essentially a rectangular, tubular part. In the following, a space enclosed on all four sides by the main body part 31D is referred to as an interior space S2. The inside and outside of the main body part 31D each refer to a side facing the interior space S2 with respect to the main body part 31D and a side opposite it, respectively. The main body part 31D comprises the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, the second side wall part 312b, an opposing wall part 315, and four ridge parts 314a, 314b, 314f, and 314g. In the fourth embodiment, the four ridge parts 314a, 314b, 314f, and 314g are designated as the first to fourth ridge part 314a, 314b, 314f, and 314e, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, the second side wall part 312b, the first ridge part 314a, and the second ridge part 314b are described in detail as in the first embodiment. Figures 15 and 18A to 18D show the cross member 3D or the workpiece 5, which is oriented with the side of the main body wall part 311 facing downwards and the side of the opposite wall part 315 facing upwards. Therefore, the first side wall part 312a is located at the rear of the drawing and the second side wall part 312b is located at the front of the drawing. As shown in Fig. 15, the opposite wall section 315 is a plate-shaped section extending in the longitudinal direction D. The opposite wall section 315 is, for example, flat. The opposite wall section 315 faces the main body wall section 311 at a distance. The opposite wall section 315 runs parallel to the main body wall section 311. The opposite wall section 315 is continuous with the edge of the first side wall section 312a opposite the main body wall section 311 via the third ridge section 314f. The opposite wall section 315 is connected via the fourth ridge section 314g to the edge of the second side wall section 312b opposite the main body wall section 311. The opposite wall section 315 comprises a first plate-shaped section 3151, a second plate-shaped section 3152, and a welded section 3153. The first plate-shaped section 3151 and the second plate-shaped section 3152 are plate-shaped (e.g., flat) parts. The first plate-shaped section 3151 and the second plate-shaped section 3152 abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The welded section 3153 is a part where opposite end faces of the first plate-shaped section 3151 and the second plate-shaped section 3152 are welded together. The third ridge section 314f and the fourth ridge section 314g are plate-shaped parts extending in the longitudinal direction D. Cross-sections of the third ridge section 314f and the fourth ridge section 314g perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D are curved in an arc towards the outside of the main body part 31D. The third ridge section 314f connects the first side wall section 312a to the opposite wall section 315 (in particular the first plate-shaped part 3151) to form a ridge line between them. The fourth ridge section 314g connects the second side wall section 312b to the opposite wall section 315 (in particular the second plate-shaped part 3152) to form a ridge line between them. The first fixed end part 32D is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31D. The first fixed end part 32D has four end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, and 322f. In the fourth embodiment, the four end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, and 322f are designated as the first to fourth end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, and 322f, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first end flange part 322e is described in detail as in the first embodiment. The second end flange part 322a and the third end flange part 322b are the same as the first end flange part 322a and the second end flange part 322b described in detail in the first embodiment. The fourth end flange section 322f extends from the first side edge of the opposite wall section 315 towards the outside of the main body section 31D. The fourth end flange section 322f is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end flange section 322f intersects the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end flange section 322f runs, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end flange part 322f comprises a first plate-shaped part 3221, a second plate-shaped part 3222, and a welded part 3223. The first plate-shaped part 3221, the second plate-shaped part 3222, and the welded part 3223 in the fourth end flange part 322f are each continuous with the first plate-shaped part 3151, the second plate-shaped part 3152, and the welded part 3153 in the opposite wall part 315. The first plate-shaped part 3221 and the second plate-shaped part 3222 are plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The first plate-shaped part 3221 and the second plate-shaped part 3222 abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The welded part 3223 is a part where opposite end faces of the first plate-shaped part 3221 and the second plate-shaped part 3222 are welded together. The second fixed end part 33D is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31D. The first fixed end part 33D has four end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, and 332f. In the fourth embodiment, the four end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, and 332f are designated as the first to fourth end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, and 332f, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first end flange part 332e is described in detail as in the first embodiment. The second end flange part 332a and the third end flange part 332b are the same as the first end flange part 332a and the second end flange part 332b described in detail in the first embodiment. The fourth end flange section 332f extends from the second side edge of the opposite wall section 315 towards the outside of the main body section 31D. The fourth end flange section 332f is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end flange section 332f intersects the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end flange section 332f runs, for example, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end flange part 332f comprises a first plate-shaped part 3321, a second plate-shaped part 3322, and a welded part 3323. The first plate-shaped part 3321, the second plate-shaped part 3322, and the welded part 3323 in the fourth end flange part 332f are each continuous with the first plate-shaped part 3151, the second plate-shaped part 3152, and the welded part 3153 in the opposite wall part 315. The first plate-shaped part 3321 and the second plate-shaped part 3322 are plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The first plate-shaped part 3321 and the second plate-shaped part 3322 abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The welded part 3323 is a part where opposite end faces of the first plate-shaped part 3321 and the second plate-shaped part 3322 are welded together. Similar to the first embodiment, the first fixed end part 32D and the second fixed end part 33D of the cross member 3D are attached to the frame element 2. In particular, the first end flange parts 322e, 332e, the second end flange parts 322a, 332a, the third end flange parts 322b, 332b and the fourth end flange parts 322f, 332f are attached to the frame element 2. [4-2. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] The method for manufacturing the 3D cross member of the fourth embodiment further includes a welding process in addition to the punching, roll forming, cutting, and bending processes. The welding process is carried out between the roll forming and cutting processes. [4-2-1. Punching process] The punching process of the fourth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the punching process of the fourth embodiment, as shown in Fig. 16, an opening group 51D has four through holes 511a to 511d as at least one through-hole. In other words, four through holes 511a to 511d are formed in the workpiece 5 during the punching process of the fourth embodiment. In the fourth embodiment, the four through holes 511a to 511d are each designated as the first to fourth through hole 511a to 511d for differentiation. The first to fourth through holes 511a to 511d are arranged in the direction intersecting the longitudinal direction D (e.g., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D) in the sequence third through hole 511c, first through hole 511a, second through hole 511b, and fourth through hole 511d. Fig. 16 shows with dashed lines with two dots positions at which the workpiece 5 is bent during the subsequent roll forming process to form the first to fourth burr part 314a, 314b, 314f and 314g. [4-2-2. Roll forming process] The roll forming process of the fourth embodiment is essentially similar in design to the roll forming process of the first embodiment. However, in the roll forming process of the fourth embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 17A to 17D, the first to fourth burr sections 314a, 314b, 314f and 314g are formed on the workpiece 5 by roll forming. More precisely, the workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, as described in the preceding steps (A-1) and (A-2) and in the following steps (D-1) and (D-2). (D-1) As shown in Fig. 17B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the first plate-shaped part 3151 forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the first side wall part 312a. This forms the third burr portion 314f on the workpiece 5. As shown in Fig. 18A, the third burr portion 314f is designed to intersect with the second through-hole 511b. The third burr portion 314f extends along the longitudinal direction D. (D-2) As shown in Fig. 17B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second plate-shaped part 3152 forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the first side wall part 312b. This forms the fourth burr portion 314g on the workpiece 5. As shown in Fig. 18A, the fourth burr portion 314g is designed to intersect with the fourth through-hole 511d. The fourth burr portion 314g extends along the longitudinal direction D. The preceding steps (A-1), (A-2), (D-1), and (D-2) can be performed individually, or at least two of them can be performed in parallel. In the fourth embodiment, as shown in Figures 17A to 17D, the preceding steps (D-1) and (D-2) are first performed in parallel, followed by the preceding steps (A-1) and (A-2) performed in parallel. Such a bending of the workpiece 5, such that the part corresponding to the first plate-shaped part 3151 forms an angle with the part corresponding to the first side wall part 312a in step (D-1), can also be described as such a bending of the workpiece 5 that the part corresponding to the first plate-shaped part 3151 faces the part corresponding to the second plate-shaped part 3152. As shown in Fig. 17D, the part of the workpiece 5 located between the first ridge section 314a and the second ridge section 314b corresponds to the main body wall section 311. The part of the workpiece 5 located between the first ridge section 314a and the third ridge section 314f corresponds to the first side wall section 312a. The part of the workpiece 5 located between the second ridge section 314b and the fourth ridge section 314g corresponds to the second side wall section 312b. The part of the workpiece 5 extending over the third ridge section 314f and the first side wall section 312a corresponds to the first plate-shaped section 3151. The part of the workpiece 5 extending over the fourth ridge section 314g and the second side wall section 312b corresponds to the second plate-shaped section 3152. As shown in Fig. 18A, two end faces of the workpiece 5 face each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D after the roll forming process. These two end faces comprise the end face of the first plate-shaped part 3151 and the end face of the second plate-shaped part 3152. [4-2-3. Welding process] Following the roll forming process, the welding process is carried out. As shown in Figures 18A and 18B, the welding process welds together the opposing end faces of the workpiece 5 after the roll forming process. This forms the welded parts 3153, 3223, and 3323 in the workpiece 5. The first plate-shaped part 3151 and the second plate-shaped part 3152 are joined by the welded part 3153, thereby forming the opposing wall part 315 in the workpiece 5. [4-2-4. Cutting process] Following the welding process, the cutting process is carried out. The cutting process of the fourth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the fourth embodiment, the opening group 51D has a first to fourth through-hole 511a to 511d. Therefore, the cutting plane C of the fourth embodiment is an imaginary plane that passes through the first to fourth through-hole 511a to 511d and intersects the longitudinal direction D (e.g., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D). Although the cutting plane C of the fourth embodiment is not shown, Fig. 18B indicates, with a dashed line with two points as a reference, the position at which the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5 after the welding process. The workpiece 5 is cut at the cutting plane C, which intersects each opening group 51D. As a result, a portion of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C is obtained as a formed intermediate part 6D, as shown in Fig. 18C. The formed intermediate part 6D comprises the main body part 31D described above, a first end-cut part 61D, and a second end-cut part 62D. The first cutting end section 61D is provided at the first side end of the main body section 31D. Four notches 611a, 611b, 611f, and 611g are formed in the first cutting end section 61D. In the fourth embodiment, the four burr sections 611a, 611b, 611f, and 611g are each designated as the first to fourth burr section 611a, 611b, 611f, and 611g for differentiation. The first notch 611a and the second notch 611b are detailed as in the first embodiment. The third notch 611f is an opening that corresponds to the third notch 511c before cutting. The fourth notch 611g is an opening that corresponds to the fourth notch 511d before cutting. The first end section 61D has four end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, and 612f. In the fourth embodiment, the four end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, and 612f are designated as the first to fourth end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, and 612f, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first to third end sections 612e, 612a, and 612b are detailed as in the first or third embodiment. However, the second end section 612a of the fourth embodiment faces the first notch 611a and the third notch 611f from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The third end section 612b of the fourth embodiment faces the second notch 611b and the fourth notch 611g from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end piece 612f extends from the first side edge of the opposite wall piece 315 further towards the first side. The fourth end piece 612f is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end piece 612f faces the third incision 611f and the fourth incision 611g from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second cutting end 62D is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31D. Four incisions 621a, 621b, 621f, and 621g are formed in the second cutting end 62D. In the fourth embodiment, the four incisions 621a, 621b, 621f, and 621g are designated as the first to fourth incisions 621a, 621b, 621f, and 621g, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first incision 621a and the second incision 621b are detailed as in the first embodiment. The third incision 621f is an opening corresponding to the third through-hole 511c before cutting. The fourth incision 621g is an opening corresponding to the fourth through-hole 511d before cutting. The second end section 62D has four end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, and 622f. In the fourth embodiment, the four end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, and 622f are designated as the first to fourth end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, and 622f, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first to third end sections 622e, 622a, and 622b are detailed as in the first or third embodiment. However, the second end section 622a of the fourth embodiment faces the first notch 621a and the third notch 621f from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The third end section 622b of the fourth embodiment faces the second notch 621b and the fourth notch 621f from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fourth end piece 622f extends from the second side edge of the opposite wall piece 315 further towards the second side. The fourth end piece 622f is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end piece 622f faces the third incision 621f and the fourth incision 621g from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. [4-2-5. Bending process] The bending process of the fourth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the first embodiment. However, in the bending process of the fourth embodiment, as shown in Figures 18C and 18D, the first end pieces 612e, 622e, the second end pieces 612a, 622a, the third end pieces 612b, 622b, and the fourth end pieces 612f, 622f are bent. This forms the first end flange pieces 322e, 332e, the second end flange pieces 322a, 332a, the third end flange pieces 322b, 332b, and the fourth end flange pieces 322f, 332f on the formed intermediate product 6D. As a result, the cross member 3D shown in Figure 15 is obtained. [4-3. Effects] According to the fourth embodiment described in detail above, the same effects are achieved as in the first embodiment. [5. Fifth embodiment] [5-1. Design of the cross brace] The fifth embodiment has a basic design similar to the fourth embodiment; therefore, the differences are described below. It should be noted that identical reference numbers as in the first to fourth embodiments indicate identical configurations, and reference should be made to the preceding description. As shown in Fig. 19, a cross member 3E of the fifth embodiment comprises a main body part 31E, a first fixed end part 32E and a second fixed end part 33E. The main body part 31E of the fifth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the main body part 31D of the fourth embodiment. However, the main body part 31E of the fifth embodiment has an opposing wall part 315a instead of the opposing wall part 315. Furthermore, the main body part 31E of the fifth embodiment additionally has two central wall parts 316a and 316b. In the fifth embodiment, these two central wall parts 316a and 316b are referred to as the first central wall part 316a and the second central wall part 316b, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The opposing wall section 315a of the fifth embodiment differs from the opposing wall section 315 of the fourth embodiment in that the opposing wall section 315a has a welded section 3154 instead of the welded section 3153. The welded section 3154 will be described later. As shown in Fig. 22A, the first central wall section 316a is a plate-shaped part formed by bending from an edge of the first plate-shaped part 3151 opposite the first side wall section 312a. A part forming a ridge line between the first plate-shaped part 3151 and the first central wall section 316a is designated as the fifth ridge section 314h. The fifth ridge section 314h is a visible feature during the manufacturing process of the cross member 3E and does not remain on the finished cross member 3E. The second central wall section 316b is a plate-shaped section formed by bending from an edge of the second plate-shaped section 3152 opposite the second side wall section 312b. A section forming a ridge line between the second plate-shaped section 3152 and the second central wall section 316b is designated as the sixth ridge section 314i. The sixth ridge section 314i is a visible feature during the manufacturing process of the cross member 3E and does not remain on the finished cross member 3E. As shown in Fig. 19, the first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b are plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b extend in the longitudinal direction D. The first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b are arranged between the main body wall section 311 and the opposite wall section 315a and face the first side wall section 312a or the second side wall section 312b. The first central wall section 316a faces the first side wall section 312a at a distance. The second central wall section 316b faces the second side wall section 312b at a distance. The first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b run essentially parallel to the first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b. Figures 19, 21F, 22A, 22B, 23A, and 23B show, for illustrative purposes, a gap between the first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b. This gap may be present, but it is not mandatory. If this gap is not present, the first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b are in contact with each other. As shown in Figures 22A and 22B, the welded part 3154 is a part where the fifth ridge section 314h and the sixth ridge section 314i are integrally joined by welding. That is, in the finished cross member 3E, the fifth ridge section 314h and the sixth ridge section 314i are visually perceived as a single piece, namely the welded part 3154. As shown in Figure 19, an end face of the first central wall section 316a opposite the welded part 3154 is in contact with the main body wall section 311. An end face of the second central wall section 316b opposite the welded part 3154 is in contact with the main body wall section 311. A cross-section of the main body part 31E in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D is essentially B-shaped. In particular, a portion of the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, the first plate-shaped part 3151, and the first central wall part 316a, together with the first ridge part 314a, the third ridge part 314f, and the welded part 3154, form an essentially rectangular, tubular part. Hereinafter, a space enclosed on all four sides by the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, the first plate-shaped part 3151, and the first central wall part 316a is referred to as an interior space S3. The remaining part of the main body wall part 311, the second side wall part 312b, the second plate-shaped part 3152 and the second central wall part 316b together with the second ridge part 314b, the fourth ridge part 314g and the welded part 3154 form an essentially rectangular, tubular part.In the following, a space enclosed on all sides by the main body wall section 311, the second side wall section 312b, the second plate-shaped section 3152, and the second central wall section 316b is referred to as an interior space S4. An inside side of the main body section 31E, with respect to the main body wall section 311, the first side wall section 312a, the second side wall section 312b, and the opposite wall section 315a, refers to a side facing the interior spaces S3 and S4. An outside side of the main body section 31E, with respect to the main body wall section 311, the first side wall section 312a, the second side wall section 312b, and the opposite wall section 315a, refers to a side opposite the side facing the interior spaces S3 and S4. The first fixed end part 32E is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31E. The first fixed end part 32E has five end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, 322g, and 322h. In the fifth embodiment, the five end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, 322g, and 322h are designated as the first through fifth end flange parts 322e, 322a, 322b, 322g, and 322h, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first end flange part 322e is described in detail as in the third embodiment. The second end flange part 322a and the third end flange part 322b are the same as the first end flange part 322a and the second end flange part 322b described in detail in the first embodiment. The fourth end flange part 322g and the fifth end flange part 322h are plate-shaped (e.g., flat) parts. The fourth end flange part 322g extends from the first side edge of the first plate-shaped part 3151 towards the outside of the main body part 31E. The fifth end flange part 322h extends from the first side edge of the second plate-shaped part 3152 towards the outside of the main body part 31E. The fourth end flange part 322g and the fifth end flange part 322h intersect the longitudinal direction D. For example, the fourth end flange part 322g and the fifth end flange part 322h run perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second fixed end part 33E is provided at the second end of the main body part 31E. The second fixed end part 33E has five end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, 332g, and 332h. In the fifth embodiment, the five end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, 332g, and 332h are designated as the first through fifth end flange parts 332e, 332a, 332b, 332g, and 332h, respectively, for the sake of distinction. The first end flange part 332e is detailed as in the first embodiment. The second end flange part 332a and the third end flange part 332b are detailed as in the first embodiment. The fourth end flange part 332g and the fifth end flange part 332h are plate-shaped (e.g., flat) parts. The fourth end flange part 332g extends from the second lateral edge of the first plate-shaped part 3151 towards the outer surface of the main body part 31E. The fifth end flange part 332h extends from the second lateral edge of the second plate-shaped part 3152 towards the outer surface of the main body part 31E. The fourth end flange part 332g and the fifth end flange part 332h intersect the longitudinal direction D. For example, the fourth end flange part 332g and the fifth end flange part 332h run perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. Similar to the fourth embodiment, the first fixed end part 32E and the second fixed end part 33E of the cross member 3E are attached to the frame element 2. In particular, the first end flange parts 322e, 332e, the second end flange parts 322a, 332a, the third end flange parts 322b, 332b, the fourth end flange parts 322g, 332g and the fifth end flange parts 322h, 332h are attached to the frame element 2. [5-2. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] The method for manufacturing the cross member 3E of the fifth embodiment also includes a punching operation, a roll forming operation, a welding operation, a cutting operation and a bending operation similar to the fourth embodiment. [5-2-1. Punching process] The punching process of the fifth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the fourth embodiment. However, as shown in Fig. 20, in the punching process of the fifth embodiment, an opening group 51E has at least one through-hole section with four through-holes 511a to 511d and two incisions 512d, 512e. In other words, in the punching process of the fifth embodiment, the workpiece 5 is formed with four through-holes 511a to 511d and two incisions 512d and 512e. In the fifth embodiment, the four through-holes 511a to 511d are each designated as the first to fourth through-hole 511a to 511d for differentiation. In the fifth embodiment, the two incisions 512d and 512e are each designated as the first incision 512d and the second incision 512e for differentiation. The first to fourth through holes 511a to 511d, the first cut 512d and the second cut 512e are arranged in the longitudinal direction D cutting direction (e.g. perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D) in the order first cut 512d, third through hole 511c, first through hole 511a, second through hole 511b, fourth through hole 511d and second cut 512e. Fig. 20 shows with dashed lines with two dots the positions at which the workpiece 5 is bent during the subsequent roll forming process to form the first to sixth burr part 314a, 314b and 314f to 314i. [5-2-2. Roll forming process] The roll forming process of the fifth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the fourth embodiment. However, in the roll forming process of the fifth embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 21A to 21F, the first to sixth burr sections 314a, 314b and 314f to 314i are formed on the workpiece 5 by roll forming. More precisely, the workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, as described in the preceding steps (A-1), (A-2), (D-1) and (D-2) and in the following steps (E-1) and (E-2). (E-1) As shown in Fig. 21B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the first central wall section 316a forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the first plate-shaped section 3151. This forms the fifth burr section 314h on the workpiece 5. As shown in Fig. 22A, the fifth burr section 314h is designed to intersect with the first notch 512d. The fifth burr section 314h extends along the longitudinal direction D. (E-2) As shown in Fig. 21B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second central wall part 316b forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the second plate-shaped part 3152. This forms a sixth burr portion 314i on the workpiece 5. As shown in Fig. 22A, the sixth burr portion 314i is designed to intersect with the second notch 512e. The sixth burr portion 314i extends along the longitudinal direction D. The preceding steps (A-1), (A-2), (D-1), (D-2), (E-1), and (E-2) can be performed individually, or at least two of them can be performed in parallel. In the fifth embodiment, as shown in Figures 21A to 21F, steps (E-1) and (E-2) are first performed in parallel. Subsequently, steps (D-1) and (D-2) are performed in parallel. Then, steps (A-1) and (A-2) are performed in parallel. In this case, such a bending of the workpiece 5, such that the part corresponding to the first central wall section 316a forms an angle with the part corresponding to the first plate-shaped part 3151 in (E-1), can also be described as such a bending of the workpiece 5, such that the part corresponding to the first central wall section 316a faces the part corresponding to the second central wall section 316b. [5-2-3. Welding process] Following the roll forming process, the welding process is carried out. In the welding process of the fifth embodiment, as shown in Figs. 22A and 22B, the fifth burr section 314h and the sixth burr section 314i are welded together to form a single-piece structure. This forms the welded part 3154 and consequently the opposite wall section 315a in the workpiece 5. A portion of the edge of the workpiece 5 forming the first cut 512d and a portion of the edge of the workpiece 5 forming the second cut 512e are continuous through the welded part 3154. [5-2-4. Cutting process] Following the welding process, the cutting process is carried out. The cutting process of the fifth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the fourth embodiment. However, in the fifth embodiment, the opening group 51E includes the first to fourth through-holes 511a to 511d, the first notch 512d, and the second notch 512e. Therefore, the cutting plane C of the fifth embodiment is an imaginary plane that passes through the first to fourth through-holes 511a to 511d, the first notch 512d, and the second notch 512e, intersecting the longitudinal direction (e.g., perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D). Although the cutting plane C of the fifth embodiment is not shown, Fig. 22B indicates, with a dashed line with two points as a reference, the position at which the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5 after the welding process. The workpiece 5 is cut at the cutting plane C that intersects each opening group 51E. As a result, a portion of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C is obtained as a formed intermediate product 6E shown in Fig. 23A. The formed intermediate product 6E comprises the main body part 31E described above, a first cut end part 61E, and a second cut end part 62E. The first cutting end 61E is provided at the first side end of the main body part 31E. Five incisions 611a, 611b, and 611f to 611h are formed in the first cutting end 61E. In the fifth embodiment, the five incisions 611a, 611b, 611f to 611h are each designated as the first to fifth incision 611a, 611b, 611f to 611h for differentiation. The first to fourth incisions 611a, 611b, 611f, and 611g have the same configuration as in the fourth embodiment. The fifth incision 611h is an opening that corresponds to the first incision 512d and the second incision 512e before cutting. The first end section 61E has five end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, 612g, and 612h. In the fifth embodiment, the five end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, 612g, and 612h are designated as the first to fifth end sections 612e, 612a, 612b, 612g, and 612h, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first to third end sections 612e, 612a, and 612b have the same configuration as those in the fourth embodiment. The fourth end piece 612g extends from the first side edge of the first plate-shaped part 3151 further towards the first side. The fourth end piece 612g is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end piece 612g faces the third notch 611f and the fifth notch 611h from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fifth end piece part 612h extends from the first side edge of the second plate-shaped part 3152 further towards the first side. The fifth end piece part 612h is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fifth end piece part 612h faces the fourth notch 611g and the fifth notch 611h from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The second cutting end 62E is provided at the second side end of the main body part 31E. Five incisions 621a, 621b, 621f to 621h are formed in the second cutting end 62E. In the fifth embodiment, the five incisions 621a, 621b, 621f to 621h are designated as the first to fifth incisions 621a, 621b, 621f to 621h for differentiation. The first to fourth incisions 621a, 621b, 621f and 621g have the same configuration as in the fourth embodiment. The fifth incision 621h is an opening that corresponds to the first incision 512d and the second incision 512e before cutting. The second end section 62E has five end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, 622g, and 622h. In the fifth embodiment, the five end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, 622g, and 622h are designated as the first to fifth end sections 622e, 622a, 622b, 622g, and 622h, respectively, for the sake of differentiation. The first to third end sections 622e, 622a, and 622b have the same configuration as those in the fourth embodiment. The fourth end piece 622g extends from the second side edge of the first plate-shaped piece 3151 further towards the second side. The fourth end piece 622g is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end piece 622g faces the third incision 621f and the fifth incision 621h from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The fifth end piece part 622h extends from the second side edge of the second plate-shaped part 3152 further towards the second side. The fourth end piece part 622g is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The fourth end piece part 622g faces the third incision 621f and the fifth incision 621h from a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. [5-2-5. Bending process] The bending process of the fifth embodiment is essentially similar to that of the fourth embodiment. However, in the bending process of the fifth embodiment, as shown in Figures 23A and 23B, the first end pieces 612e, 622e, the second end pieces 612a, 622a, the third end pieces 612b, 622b, the fourth end pieces 612g, 622g, and the fifth end pieces 612h, 622h are bent. This forms the first end flange pieces 322e, 332e, second end flange pieces 322a, 332a, third end flange pieces 322b, 332b, fourth end flange pieces 322g, 332g, and fifth end flange pieces 322h, 332h on the formed intermediate product 6E. As a result, the cross member 3E shown in Fig. 19 is achieved. [5-3. Effects] According to the fifth embodiment described in detail above, similar effects are achieved as in the fourth embodiment. [6. Sixth embodiment] [6-1. Design of the cross brace] The sixth embodiment has a basic design similar to the fifth embodiment; therefore, the differences are described below. It should be noted that identical reference numbers as in the first to fifth embodiments indicate identical configurations, and reference should be made to the preceding description. As shown in Fig. 24, a cross member 3F of the sixth embodiment comprises a main body part 31F, a first fixed end part 32F and a second fixed end part 33F. The main body part 31F of the sixth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the main body part 31E of the fifth embodiment. However, the main body part 31F of the sixth embodiment also includes a contact wall part 317. Instead of the opposing wall part 315a, the main body part 31F of the sixth embodiment has two opposing wall parts 315b and 315c. In the sixth embodiment, the two opposing wall parts 315b and 315c are, for the sake of distinction, referred to as the first opposing wall part 315b and the second opposing wall part 315c, respectively. Furthermore, the main body part 31F of the sixth embodiment has eight ridge sections 314a, 314b, 314f to 314k. In the sixth embodiment, the eight ridge sections 314a, 314b, 314f to 314k are designated as the first to eighth ridge section 314a, 314b, 314f to 314k for differentiation. The first to sixth ridge sections 314a, 314b, 314f to 314i are detailed as in the fifth embodiment. However, in the sixth embodiment, the fifth ridge section 314h and the sixth ridge section 314i are not welded together. That is, in the sixth embodiment, the fifth ridge section 314h and the sixth ridge section 314i remain attached to the finished cross member 3F. The first opposing wall section 315b and the second opposing wall section 315c of the sixth embodiment have a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the opposing wall section 315a of the first embodiment. In the fifth embodiment, the opposing wall section 315a extends through the third ridge section 314f and the fourth ridge section 314g to the first side wall section 312a and the second side wall section 312b. In contrast, in the sixth embodiment, the first opposing wall section 315b extends through the third ridge section 314f to the first side wall section 312a. The second opposing wall section 315c extends through the fourth ridge section 314g to the second side wall section 312b. The first opposing wall section 315b and the second opposing wall section 315c abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. In the sixth embodiment, the first central wall section 316a extends over the fifth ridge section 314h with an edge of the first opposite wall section 315b opposite the first side wall section 312a. The second central wall section 316b extends over the sixth ridge section 314i with an edge of the second opposite wall section 315c opposite the second side wall section 312b. A gap is provided between the first central wall section 316a and the second central wall section 316b. The contact wall section 317 connects, via the seventh ridge section 314j and the eighth ridge section 314k, the edge of the first central wall section 316a opposite the first opposing wall section 315b with the edge of the second central wall section 316b opposite the second opposing wall section 315c. The contact wall section 317 is plate-shaped (e.g., flat). The contact wall section 317 is in contact with the main body wall section 311. The contact wall section 317 comprises a first plate-shaped section 3171, a second plate-shaped section 3172, and a welded section 3173. The first plate-shaped section 3171 and the second plate-shaped section 3172 are plate-shaped (e.g., flat) parts. The first plate-shaped section 3171 extends through the seventh ridge section 314j to the first central wall section 316a. The second plate-shaped section 3172 extends through the eighth ridge section 314k to the second central wall section 316b. The first plate-shaped section 3171 and the second plate-shaped section 3172 abut each other in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D. The welded section 3173 is a part where opposing end faces of the first plate-shaped section 3171 and the second plate-shaped section 3172 are welded together. As in the fifth embodiment, a cross-section of the main body part 31F in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D is essentially B-shaped. In the sixth embodiment, the interior space S3 is a space enclosed on all four sides by the main body wall part 311, the first side wall part 312a, the first opposite wall part 315b, and the first central wall part 316a. In the sixth embodiment, the interior space S4 is a space enclosed on all four sides by the main body wall part 311, the second side wall part 312b, the second opposite wall part 315c, and the second central wall part 316b. The first fixed end part 32F of the sixth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the first fixed end part 32E of the fifth embodiment. However, in the sixth embodiment, the fourth end flange part 322g extends from the first side edge of the first opposing wall part 315b towards the outside of the main body part 31F. The fifth end flange part 322h extends from the first side edge of the second opposing wall part 315c towards the outside of the main body part 31F. The second fixed end part 33F of the sixth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially the same as that of the second fixed end part 33E of the fifth embodiment. However, in the sixth embodiment, the fourth end flange part 332g extends from the second lateral edge of the first opposite wall part 315b towards the outside of the main body part 31F. The fifth end flange part 332h extends from the second lateral edge of the second opposite wall part 315c towards the outside of the main body part 31F. The cross member 3F of the sixth embodiment is attached to the frame support 2 in the same way as in the fifth embodiment. [6-2. Method for manufacturing the cross brace] The method for manufacturing the cross member 3F of the sixth embodiment also includes a punching operation, a roll forming operation, a welding operation, a cutting operation and a bending operation similar to that of the fifth embodiment. [6-2-1. Punching process] As shown in Fig. 25, the punching process of the sixth embodiment has the same configuration as the punching process of the fifth embodiment. Fig. 25 shows, with dashed lines with two dots, the positions at which the workpiece 5 is bent during the subsequent roll forming process to form the first to eighth burr sections 314a, 314b, 314f to 314k. [6-2-2. Roll forming process] The roll forming process of the sixth embodiment is essentially similar in design to the roll forming process of the fifth embodiment. However, in the roll forming process of the sixth embodiment, as shown in Figures 26A to 26F, the first to eighth burr sections 314a, 314b, 314f to 314k are formed on the workpiece 5 by roll forming. More precisely, the workpiece 5 is bent by roll forming, as described in the preceding steps (A-1), (A-2), (D-1), (D-2), (E-1) and (E-2) and in the following steps (F-1) and (F-2). In the sixth embodiment, the first plate-shaped part 3151 in step (E-1) is to be read as the first opposing wall part 315b, and the second plate-shaped part 3152 in (E-2) is to be read as the second opposing wall part 315c. (F-1) As shown in Fig. 26B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the first plate-shaped part 3171 forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the first central wall part 316a. This forms the seventh burr portion 314j on the workpiece 5. As shown in Figs. 25 and 27A, the seventh burr portion 314j is designed to intersect with the first notch 512d. The seventh burr portion 314j extends along the longitudinal direction D. (F-2) As shown in Fig. 26B, the workpiece 5 is bent such that a portion corresponding to the second plate-shaped part 3172 forms an angle with a portion corresponding to the first central wall part 316b. This forms the eighth burr 314k on the workpiece 5. As shown in Figs. 25 and 27A, the eighth burr 314k is designed to intersect with the second notch 512e. The eighth burr 314k extends along the longitudinal direction D. The preceding steps (A-1), (A-2), (D-1), (D-2), (E-2), (F-1) and (F-2) can be performed individually, or at least two of them can be performed in parallel. As shown in Figures 26A to 26F, in the sixth embodiment these steps are performed in a sequence essentially the same as that of the fifth embodiment. However, as shown in Figure 26B, steps (E-1) and (E-2) are performed in parallel with steps (F-1) and (F-2). [6-2-3. Welding process] Following the roll forming process, the welding process is carried out. In the welding process of the sixth embodiment, as shown in Figs. 27A and 27B, the opposing end faces of the first plate-shaped part 3171 and the second plate-shaped part 3172 are welded together. This forms the welded part 3173 on the workpiece 5. The welded part 3173 connects the first plate-shaped part 3151 to the second plate-shaped part 3152, thereby forming the contact wall part 317 in the workpiece 5. [6-2-4. Cutting process] Following the welding process, the cutting process is carried out. The cutting process of the sixth embodiment is similar to that of the fifth embodiment. Although the cutting plane C of the sixth embodiment is not shown, Fig. 27B indicates, with a dashed line with two points as a reference, the position at which the cutting plane C intersects the workpiece 5 after the welding process. The workpiece 5 is cut at the cutting plane C intersecting each opening group 51E. As a result, a portion of the workpiece 5 lying between the two cutting planes C is obtained as a formed intermediate product 6F shown in Fig. 28A. The formed intermediate product 6F comprises the main body part 31F described above, a first cut end part 61F, and a second cut end part 62F. The first cutting end part 61F of the sixth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the first cutting end part 61E of the fifth embodiment. However, in the first cutting end part 61F of the sixth embodiment, the fourth end part 612g extends further from the first side edge of the first opposite wall part 315b towards the first side. The fifth end part 612h extends further from the first side edge of the second opposite wall part 315c towards the first side. The second cutting end part 62F of the sixth embodiment has a configuration that is essentially identical to that of the first cutting end part 62E of the fifth embodiment. However, in the second cutting end part 62F of the sixth embodiment, the fourth end part 622g extends further from the second side edge of the first opposite wall part 315b towards the second side. The fifth end part 622h extends further from the second side edge of the second opposite wall part 315c towards the second side. [6-2-5. Bending process] Following the cutting process, the bending process is carried out. The bending process of the sixth embodiment is essentially identical to that of the fifth embodiment. As shown in Figs. 28A and 28B, the first end pieces 612e, 622e, the second end pieces 612a, 622a, the third end pieces 612b, 622b, the fourth end pieces 612g, 622g and the fifth end pieces 612h, 622h are bent. This forms the first end flange parts 322e, 332e, the second end flange parts 322a, 332a, the third end flange parts 322b, 332b, the fourth end flange parts 322g, 332g and the fifth end flange parts 322h, 332h on the formed intermediate product 6F. As a result, the cross member 3F shown in Fig. 24 is obtained. [6-3. Effects] According to the sixth embodiment described in detail above, similar effects are achieved as in the fifth embodiment. [7. Other embodiments] The embodiments of this disclosure have been described above. This disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described above and may take various forms. (7a) In the cross members 3A to 3F of the first to sixth embodiments above, a plurality of end flange parts 322a to 322h and 332a to 332h are provided at the first and second side ends of the main body part 31A to 31F, respectively. However, the number of end flange parts provided at the first or second side end of the main body part is not specifically limited. For example, only one end flange part may be provided at the first or second side end of the main body part.(7b) In the cross braces 3A to 3F of the preceding first to sixth embodiments, at least one end flange part 322a to 322h, 332a to 332h is provided at both the first and second side ends of the main body part 31A to 31F. However, at least one end flange part may also be provided at only one end in the longitudinal direction. For example, in a cross brace 3G shown in Fig. 29, the end flange parts 322a, 322b and 322e are provided only at the first side end of the main body part 31A. (7c) For example, as shown in Fig. 30, an additional through-part H, such as a through-hole, may be formed in at least the main body wall part 311a and / or the end flange parts 322i to 322k of a cross brace 3H. For example, the additional passage part H can be formed in a different part than the main body wall part and the end flange part, such as the side wall part of the cross member. The additional through-pass H is used, for example, to accommodate a fastener, such as a screw. An exemplary method for producing such a crossbar involves simultaneously forming the additional through-pass H when an opening group is formed during the punching operation. (7d) The crossbars 3A to 3F of the preceding first to sixth embodiments are examples of formed products. However, the formed products are not necessarily limited to crossbars arranged within a frame element. For example, the formed product could be a floor cross member or a longitudinal member forming the floor of the vehicle. The floor cross member is, for example, mounted on the vehicle and extends in the left-right direction of the vehicle. The longitudinal member is, for example, mounted on the vehicle and extends in the forward-backward direction of the vehicle. Even if the formed product is a floor cross member or a longitudinal member, it may be necessary to vary the longitudinal dimension D of the main body part in accordance with the overall length or width of the vehicle. Therefore, it is useful to achieve the effect described in (1b) above. Furthermore, the molded product does not necessarily have to be a component mounted on the vehicle. (7e) A function possessed by a component in the embodiments described above may be divided among several components, or functions possessed by several components may be integrated into a single component. Furthermore, a part of the design of the embodiments described above may be omitted. At least one part of the design of one of the embodiments described above may be added to or replaced by the design of another of the embodiments described above. (7f) The present disclosure may be obtained in various forms, including not only the crossbars 3A to 3H described above, but also a battery assembly structure 1 comprising the crossbars 3A to 3H as components, a method for manufacturing the crossbars 3A to 3H and the like.
