Description

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a variable guide vane device provided at an air inlet of an axial compressor of a gas turbine, a turbo-refrigerator, a jet engine, or the like, and to a maintenance method for a variable guide vane device.

[0002] A general gas turbine consists of a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine. The compressor generates compressed air at high temperature and high pressure by compressing air drawn from an air intake. The combustor produces a high-temperature, high-pressure combustion gas by adding fuel to the compressed air and combusting the mixture. The turbine is driven by the combustion gas to drive a coaxially connected generator.

[0003] In the gas turbine, a variable vane device is provided at the air inlet of the compressor. The variable vane device is used to control the air intake amount by swinging the direction of the vanes in an idle state or a high-speed rotation state of the gas turbine relative to the direction of the vanes in a rated speed state. Consequently, the power can be maintained or increased. A variable vane driving method and a variable vane driving device for the axial compressor are known, for example, from JP 2010001821 A1.

[0004] In the variable vane device, an outer peripheral portion of a ring positioned in the vertical direction is rotatably supported by a plurality of guide rollers, and the ring is rotated by an actuator so that a plurality of variable vanes arranged in a ring shape are pivoted via a driving force transmission mechanism. In a case where an opening is changed in accordance with the rotation of the variable vanes, the ring is rotated by a predetermined angle by an actuator. For this reason, the guide rollers each support the ring only at a predetermined equal area in a contact state, and therefore, the thickness of the ring decreases due to abrasion of the contact portion. As the thickness of the ring decreases, the guide rollers cannot adequately support the ring.As a result, there are concerns that the angle of the variable guide vanes cannot be adjusted precisely in accordance with a sweep.

[0005] Another variable guide vane device for a gas turbine is also known from JP 3854562 B2. The guide vane device comprises a ring that is rotatably mounted along a number of variable static vanes arranged in the shape of a ring and rotates the variable static vanes through a drive force transmission mechanism through its rotation, a drive shaft that is arranged near the ring and rotatably mounted with a drive axis parallel to the ring's rotation axis, and a drive mechanism that rotates and drives the drive shaft. A first arm is attached to the shaft and projects in a direction away from the drive axis in the direction of an approximate tangent to a platform connected to the ring and is rotatably connected to the platform at one end.Another end of the first arm is rotatably connected to a second arm, so that the ring is rotated by the rotation of the drive shaft via the first and second arm.

[0006] The present disclosure has been made to solve the problems described above, and an object is to provide a maintenance method for a variable guide vane device and a variable guide vane device that can maintain performance by preventing malfunction of variable guide vanes.

[0007] To achieve the above object, a maintenance method for a variable vane device of the present invention comprises the features of claim 1 and relates to a variable vane device provided in a rotary machine. The variable vane device includes a plurality of variable vanes arranged in a ring shape so as to surround a flow passage, a ring supported by a plurality of guides provided on an outer peripheral portion of the rotary machine so as to be rotatable about a center axis of the rotary machine and connected to the plurality of variable vanes, a fixing bracket fixed to the ring, and a driving device connected to the fixing bracket, the driving device rotating the ring.to pivot the plurality of variable vanes. The maintenance method for a variable vane device includes a preparation step of preparing the ring, which includes a first connecting portion to which the fixing bracket can be attached, and a second connecting portion to which the fixing bracket can be attached, at a position offset from the first connecting portion in a circumferential direction, wherein the ring is attached to the fixing bracket at the first connecting portion, a release step of releasing a connection between the plurality of variable vanes and the ring and a connection between the ring and the fixing bracket at the first connecting portion, a rotation step of rotating the ring by a predetermined angle, and a connection step of connecting the plurality of variable vanes to the ring at a position, which is different from a position before the release step, and connecting the ring to the holder at the second connecting portion.

[0008] Therefore, when the ring at the supporting position is abraded by the guides, the ring that has fixed the fixing bracket to the first connecting portion is prepared, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes and the ring and the connection between the ring and the fixing bracket at the first connecting portion are released, and the ring is rotated by a predetermined angle. Subsequently, the plurality of variable vanes are connected to the ring at positions different from positions before the releasing step, and the ring is connected to the fixing bracket at the second connecting portion. For this reason, since the positions of the ring supported by the plurality of guides are changed, the plurality of guides can support the ring at non-abraded positions. Consequently, since malfunction of the variable vanes can be prevented or eliminated,is avoided, a performance can be maintained.

[0009] In the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the present disclosure, the plurality of variable guide vanes are connected to the ring via a link mechanism, the link mechanism being disassembled in the detaching step and the link mechanism being assembled in the connecting step.

[0010] Therefore, since a relationship between the plurality of variable guide vanes and the ring is changed by disassembling and assembling the connecting mechanism, the workability can be improved.

[0011] In the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the present disclosure, the ring is rotated by an integer multiple of an angle of an arrangement interval of the plurality of variable guide vanes in the rotating step.

[0012] Therefore, since the ring is rotated by an integer multiple of an angle of the arrangement interval of the plurality of variable guide vanes to change a relationship between the plurality of variable guide vanes and the ring, the positions of the ring supported by the use of the plurality of guides can be changed without changing an operating range of the variable guide vanes.

[0013] In the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the present disclosure, the ring is rotated 180° in the rotation step.

[0014] Therefore, since the weight of the ring is supported by the guides, the portions of the lower part of the ring supported by the guides are easily abraded. Consequently, the positions of the ring abraded by the plurality of guides can be changed simply by rotating the ring 180°.

[0015] A variable guide vane device of the present disclosure is provided for a rotary machine. The variable guide vane device includes a plurality of variable guide vanes arranged in a ring shape so as to surround a flow passage, a ring supported by a plurality of guides provided on an outer peripheral portion of the rotary machine so as to be rotatable about a center axis of the rotary machine, and provided with the plurality of connecting portions connected to the plurality of variable guide vanes offset from each other in a circumferential direction, and a drive device that rotates the ring while being connected to one of the plurality of connecting portions.

[0016] Therefore, the ring is provided with a plurality of connecting portions offset from each other in the circumferential direction, and the ring is rotated by a predetermined opening angle to connect the drive portion to a different connecting portion when the ring is worn at the positions supported by the guides. Consequently, since the positions of the ring supported by the plurality of guides are worn, the plurality of guides can support the ring at the non-worn position. As a result, performance can be maintained because malfunction of the variable vanes is avoided or prevented.

[0017] According to the maintenance method for a variable vane device and the variable vane device of the present disclosure, when the ring is abraded at the positions supported by the guides, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes and the ring is released, and the ring is rotated by a predetermined opening angle. Subsequently, the plurality of variable vanes are connected to the ring at positions different from the positions before the release step. Consequently, since the positions of the ring supported by the plurality of guides are changed, the plurality of guides can support the ring at non-abraded positions. As a result, since malfunction of the variable vanes is avoided, performance can be maintained. Fig. 1 is a front view illustrating a variable guide vane device of a first embodiment. [0018] Hereinafter, disclosed embodiments of a maintenance method for a variable vane device and a variable vane device according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, the present disclosure is not limited to these embodiments and encompasses a combination of embodiments in the case of a plurality of embodiments. [First embodiment]

[0019] Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram illustrating an overall configuration of a gas turbine of a first embodiment.

[0020] In the embodiment as in Fig. As illustrated in Fig. 8, a gas turbine 10 includes a compressor 11, a combustor 12, and a turbine 13. In the gas turbine 10, the compressor 11 and the turbine 13 are arranged along an axis O direction on the outside of a rotating shaft 32, and a plurality of combustors 12 are arranged between the compressor 11 and the turbine 13. Furthermore, the gas turbine 10 can generate electric power with a generator (a motor) (not illustrated) coaxially connected thereto.

[0021] The compressor 11 includes an air inlet 20 that introduces air. Inlet guide vanes (IGV) 22 serving as variable guide vanes are arranged inside a compressor casing 21. A plurality of guide vanes 23 and a plurality of idler vanes 24 are alternately arranged in an air flow direction (the direction of the axis O of the rotor 32, which will be described later), and a bleed air chamber 25 is provided on the outside thereof. The compressor 11 compresses the air introduced from the air inlet 20 to generate compressed air of high temperature and high pressure, and supplies the compressed air of high temperature and high pressure to a casing 14. The compressor 11 is activated by the motor coaxially connected thereto.

[0022] The combustion chamber 12 generates combustion gas by supplying fuel to the high-temperature, high-pressure compressed air compressed by the compressor 11 and stored in the casing 14, and by combusting the mixture. In the turbine 13, a plurality of guide vanes or blades 27 and the plurality of moving vanes or blades 28 are alternately arranged in a combustion gas flow direction (the direction of the axis O of the rotor 32) inside a turbine casing 26. Furthermore, an exhaust chamber 30 is arranged on the downstream side of the turbine casing 26 via an exhaust casing 29, and the exhaust chamber 30 includes an exhaust diffuser 31 connected to the turbine 13. The turbine 13 is driven by the combustion gas supplied from the combustion chamber 12 and drives the generator coaxially connected thereto.

[0023] In the compressor 11, the combustor 12, and the turbine 13, the rotor (rotation shaft) 32 is arranged in the direction of the axis O and penetrates a center portion of the exhaust chamber 30. The rotor 32 has one end near the compressor 11, which is supported by a bearing portion 33 so as to be rotatable, and one end near the exhaust chamber 30, which is supported by a bearing portion 34 so as to be rotatable. Furthermore, a stack of a plurality of discs equipped with the moving blades 24 is fixed to the rotor 32 in the compressor 11. Further, a stack of a plurality of discs equipped with the moving blades 28 is fixed to the rotor in the turbine 13, and a drive shaft of the generator is connected to the end of the rotor 32 near the exhaust chamber 30.

[0024] Furthermore, in the gas turbine 10, the compressor housing 21 of the compressor 11 is supported by a root portion 35, the turbine housing 26 of the turbine 13 is supported by a root portion 36, and the exhaust chamber 30 is supported by a root portion 37.

[0025] Therefore, in the compressor 11, the air introduced from the air inlet 20 is compressed while passing through the inlet guide vanes 22 and the plurality of guide vanes 23 and moving blades 24, so that compressed air of high temperature and high pressure is obtained. In the combustion chamber 12, a predetermined fuel is supplied to the compressed air, and both the fuel and the air are burned. In the turbine 13, the high-temperature and high-pressure combustion gas generated from the combustion chamber 12 drives and rotates the rotor 32 while passing through the plurality of guide vanes 27 and moving blades 28 in the turbine 13, thus driving the generator connected to the rotor 32. Subsequently, the combustion gas that has driven the turbine 13 is discharged to the atmosphere as exhaust gas.

[0026] The inlet guide vane 22 provided in the compressor 11 will be described in detail here. Fig. 1 is a front view illustrating the variable guide vane device of the first embodiment, Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view along a line II-II of Fig. 1, which illustrates a main part of the variable guide vane device, and Fig. Figure 3 is a side view illustrating the variable vane device.

[0027] As in Fig. 1 to 3, a variable guide vane device 50 includes the plurality of inlet guide vanes (variable guide vanes) 22, a ring 51, a driving force transmission mechanism 52, and a driving device 53.

[0028] A housing 61 is formed in a double-cylindrical shape, and an annular passage 64 is formed between an outer cylinder 62 and an inner cylinder 63. The intake guide vane 22 includes a shaft or axis portion 65 and a vane or blade portion 66. The plurality of intake guide vanes 22 are arranged in the housing 61 in an annular shape with a predetermined gap interposed therebetween. That is, the shaft portion 65 of the intake guide vane 22, which penetrates the outer cylinder 62, is supported to be rotatable, and the vane portion 66 is located at the passage 64 formed between the outer cylinder 62 and the inner cylinder 63.

[0029] The ring 51 is formed in a ring shape in which an upper ring 67 and a lower ring 68 formed in a half-ring shape are integrally fixed. The ring 51 is arranged on the outside of the outer cylinder 62 in the housing 61. The upper ring 67 and the lower ring 68 are arranged so that the flange portions 67a and 68a come into close contact with each other and are fixed by a fixing bolt (not illustrated). In the housing 61, a plurality of support members 69 are fixed to an outer peripheral portion of the outer cylinder 62 with a predetermined gap therebetween in the circumferential direction, and a guide roller (a guide) 70 is supported by each support member 69. Each guide roller 70 is supported by each support member 69 with a support shaft 71 elongated in the axial direction of the housing 61 so as to be rotatable. The ring 51 is supported in an outer peripheral portion of the housing 61 so as to be rotatable, while an outer peripheral support surface 51a is supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70.

[0030] The driving force transmission mechanism 52 is a link mechanism and can change the angles of the plurality of intake guide vanes 22 by transmitting a rotational force of the ring 51 to the plurality of intake guide vanes 22. In the driving force transmission mechanism 52, one end of a first link 72 and one end of a second link 73 are connected to each other by a connecting shaft 74 so as to be rotatable. Furthermore, the other end of the first link 72 is supported by the ring 51 so as to be rotatable via a connecting shaft 75, and the shaft portion 65 of the intake guide vane 22 is integrally fixed to the other end of the second link 73.

[0031] For this reason, when the ring 51 rotates in one direction, a rotational force is transmitted to each intake guide vane 22 via the driving force transmission mechanism (linkage mechanism) 52, and therefore, each intake guide vane 22 rotates in one direction to close the passage 64. Further, when the ring 51 rotates in the other direction, a driving force is transmitted to each intake guide vane 22 via the driving force transmission mechanism (linkage mechanism) 52, and therefore, each intake guide vane 22 rotates in the other direction to open the passage 64.

[0032] The drive device 53 is an actuator and includes a drive rod (a drive portion) 76 that is movable in a reciprocating manner in the axial direction. The drive rod 76 includes a rotatable pivot joint 77. The drive device 53 is attached to a support bracket 78, and the support bracket 78 is fixed to the housing 61 via a plurality of fixing bolts 79. Meanwhile, a fixing bracket 80 is fixed to a lower portion of the ring 51. Furthermore, a front end of the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 is connected to the fixing bracket 80.

[0033] For this reason, when the drive rod 76 is moved forward by the drive device 53, a driving force is transmitted to the ring 51 via the fixing bracket 80, and therefore the ring 51 rotates in one direction (in Fig. 1 a counterclockwise direction). Furthermore, when the drive rod 76 is moved backward by the drive device 53, a driving force is transmitted to the ring 51 via the fixing bracket 80, and therefore the ring 51 rotates in the other direction (in Fig. 1 a clockwise direction). In addition, a rotational force of the ring 51 is transmitted to each inlet guide vane 22 via the driving force transmission mechanism (the link mechanism) 52, and therefore, each inlet guide vane 22 rotates to open and close the passage 64.

[0034] Incidentally, in the variable vane device 50, the ring 51 for rotating the plurality of inlet guide vanes 22 is rotatably supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70. Furthermore, when the ring 51 is rotated by the drive device 53, each variable vane 22 is rotated by the drive force transmission mechanism 52. In this case, since the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined angle by the drive device 53, the guide rollers 70 support the ring 51 while contacting only a predetermined area. For this reason, the ring 51 is abraded, and its thickness is reduced only in the areas contacting the guide rollers 70.

[0035] For this reason, in a maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the first embodiment, a wear or abrasion portion of the ring 51 is not used by shifting a positional relationship between the ring 51 and the plurality of guide rollers 70 in the circumferential direction.

[0036] Fig. 4 is a front view illustrating a fastening state of an unrepaired ring, Fig. 5 is a front view illustrating a fixing state of a repaired ring, Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram illustrating bracket attachment portions of the ring and Fig. Figure 7 is a flowchart illustrating a maintenance procedure for a variable vane device.

[0037] The maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the first embodiment includes a detaching step of detaching a connection between the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51, a rotating step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connecting step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the detaching step.

[0038] According to the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the first embodiment, in the detaching step, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is released, and the connection between the ring 51 and the drive device 53 is released. Further, in the connecting step, the plurality of variable vanes 22 are connected to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the detaching step, and the ring 51 is connected to the drive device 53 at a position different from a position before the detaching step.

[0039] In this case, in the connecting step, the fixing bracket 80 is fixed to the ring 51, and the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 is connected to the fixing bracket 80. Here, in the connecting step, the fixing bracket 80 is fixed to the ring 51 at a position different from a position before the detaching step. Furthermore, the driving force transmission mechanism (the connecting mechanism) 52 is disassembled in the detaching step, and the driving force transmission mechanism 52 is assembled in the connecting step.

[0040] Thereafter, in the rotation step, it is preferable to rotate the ring 51 by an integer multiple of an angle of the arrangement interval of the plurality of variable guide vanes 22. However, the ring may be rotated by 180° in the rotation step.

[0041] More precisely, as in Fig. 6, the ring is formed such that a plurality of (two in this embodiment) connecting portions 81 and 82 for fixing the fixing bracket 80 are staggered in the circumferential direction. The first connecting portion 81 includes five fixing holes 81a, 81b, 81c, 81d, and 81e formed at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction of the ring 51. The second connecting portion 82 includes five fixing holes 82a, 82b, 82c, 82d, and 82e formed at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction of the ring 51. The connecting portions 81 and 82 are provided so as to be separated from each other by an integral multiple of a fixing pitch (distance) (twice in the embodiment) of the variable guide vanes 22 in the ring 51.

[0042] This means that the mounting bracket 80 overlaps or overlies, as in Fig. 4, the first connecting portion 81 (the mounting holes 81a, 81b, 81c, 81d, and 81e) is provided at the lower end of the ring 51 and is fixed by a plurality of fixing bolts 85. The one-dot chain lines A here indicate the fixing positions of the variable guide vanes 22. The second connecting portion 82 (the mounting holes 82a, 82b, 82c, 82d, and 82e) is provided to be offset from the first connecting portion 81 (the mounting holes 81a, 81b, 81c, 81d, and 81e) by two pitches in the clockwise direction of the ring 51. For this reason, the fixing bracket 80 is detached from the ring 51, and the ring 51 is rotated by two pitches in the counterclockwise direction. Then, as shown in Fig. 5, the fixing bracket 80 has the second connecting portion 82 (the connecting holes 82a, 82b, 82c, 82d and 82e) and is fixed with a plurality of fixing bolts 85a, 85b, 85c, 85d and 85e.

[0043] The maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the first embodiment will be described here in detail with reference to a flowchart.

[0044] In the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the first embodiment, when a portion of the ring 51 in contact with each guide roller 70 is abraded and causes a reduction in thickness, a positional relationship between the ring 51 and the plurality of guide rollers 70 is offset in the circumferential direction. That is, the drive force transmission mechanism (linkage mechanism) 52 is, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 7, the variable guide vanes 22 are first disassembled at step S11 to separate the variable guide vanes 22 and the ring. In this case, the connection of the shaft portion 65 of the variable guide vane 22, the first connection 72, the second connection 73, and the connection axes 74 and 75 are released. Alternatively, only the connection between the shaft portion 65 of the variable guide vane 22 and the second connection 73 may be released.

[0045] Next, as in Fig. 4 and Fig. 7, the fastening bracket 80 is released at step S12. In this case, the fastening bolts 85 are loosened to release the connection between the ring 51 and the fastening bracket 80 and the connection between the fastening bracket 80 and the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53. Subsequently, the ring 51, as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 7, at step S13, the ring 51 is rotated to adjust the position. Therefore, since the connection between each variable vane 22 and the ring 51 is released and the connection between the ring 51 and the mounting bracket 80 is released, the ring 51 can be freely rotated. For this reason, the ring 51 is rotated counterclockwise by twice the mounting pitch of the variable vanes 22 (by two pitches).

[0046] Subsequently, at step S14, the driving force transmission mechanism 52 is assembled to connect each variable guide vane 22 and the ring 51. At this time, it is necessary to assemble the driving force transmission mechanism 52 without changing the angle of each variable guide vane 22 before disassembling the driving force transmission mechanism 52 and during assembly thereof. Thereafter, at step S15, the fixing bracket 80 is fixed to the second connecting portion 82. In this case, the fixing bracket 80 overlaps the second connecting portion 82 of the ring 51 and is fixed by the plurality of fixing bolts 85. In addition, the fixing bracket 80 is connected to the driving rod 76 of the driving device 53.

[0047] In this way, the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the first embodiment includes a preparation step of preparing the ring 51 having the first connecting portion 81 to which the fixing bracket 80 is fixed to the ring 51, and the second fixing portion 82 to which the fixing bracket 80 is fixed at a position offset from the first connecting portion 81 in the circumferential direction, the ring 51 having the fixing bracket 80 fixed to the first connecting portion 81, a release step of releasing the connection between the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51 and the connection between the ring 51 and the fixing bracket 80 at the first connecting portion 81, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connecting step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the detaching step, and connecting the ring 51 to the fixing bracket 80 at the second connecting portion 82.

[0048] Therefore, when the ring 51 is abraded at the positions supported by the guide roller 70, the ring 51 having the fixing bracket 80 fixed to the first connecting portion 81 is prepared, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 and the connection between the ring 51 and the fixing bracket 80 at the first connecting portion 81 is released, and the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined angle. Thereafter, the plurality of variable vanes 22 are connected to the ring 51 at positions different from the positions before the releasing step, and the ring 51 is connected to the fixing bracket 80 at the second connecting portion 82. For this reason, since the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are changed, the plurality of guide rollers 70 can properly support the ring 51 in areas where no abrasion has occurred.Consequently, since a malfunction of the variable guide vane is prevented or avoided, the performance can be maintained.

[0049] Furthermore, the positions of the ring 51 are changed by the plurality of guide rollers 70 without changing a connection relationship between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 and a connection relationship between the ring 51 and the drive device 53. Therefore, the high operating accuracy of the variable vanes 22 can be maintained. Furthermore, since the mounting position of the mounting bracket 80 in the ring 51 is changed to change the position of the connection between the drive device 53 and the ring 51, the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 can be easily changed with a simple configuration.

[0050] In the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the first embodiment, the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 are connected via the driving force transmission mechanism 52. Furthermore, the driving force transmission mechanism 52 is disassembled in the detachment step, and the driving force transmission mechanism 52 is assembled in the connection step. Therefore, since a relationship between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is changed by the disassembly and assembly of the driving force transmission mechanism 52, workability can be improved.

[0051] According to the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the first embodiment, in the rotation step, the ring 51 is rotated by an integer multiple of an angle of the attachment interval of the plurality of variable vanes 22, that is, by an integer multiple of the attachment pitch between the variable vanes 22. Therefore, since a relationship between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is changed by shifting it by the attachment pitch between the variable vanes 22, the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 can be changed without changing the operating range of the variable vanes.

[0052] In this case, during the rotation step, the ring 51 can be rotated 180°. That is, since the weight of the ring 51 is supported by the guide rollers 70 located at the lower positions, the portions supported by the guide rollers 70 at the lower portion of the ring 51 are easily abraded. Therefore, when the ring 51 is rotated 180° and vertically inverted, the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 can be changed.

[0053] Further, the variable guide vane device of the first embodiment includes the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 arranged in a ring shape and surrounding the passage 64, the ring 51 rotatably supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 provided on the outer peripheral portion connected to the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and provided with the plurality of connecting portions 81 and 82 offset from each other in the circumferential direction, the driving force transmission mechanism 52 connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51, and the driving device 53 of which the driving rod 76 is connected to any one of the plurality of connecting portions 81 and 82 in the ring 51.

[0054] Therefore, since the plurality of connecting portions 81 and 82 are provided and offset in the circumferential direction of the ring 51, when the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are abraded, the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined opening degree to change the connecting position of the drive rod 76, for example, from the first connecting portion 81 to the second connecting portion 82 so that the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are changed. Consequently, the plurality of guide rollers 70 can support the ring 51 at non-abraded positions. As a result, since malfunction of the variable vanes 22 is prevented, performance can be maintained.

[0055] Further, in the embodiment, the ring 51 is provided with two connecting portions 81 and 82 which are offset in the circumferential direction, but the number of the connecting portions is not limited to two and may be three or more. [Second embodiment]

[0056] Fig. Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram illustrating a main part of a variable guide vane device of a second embodiment, and Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram illustrating a maintenance method for a variable vane device. Furthermore, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same components having the same function as those in the above-described embodiment, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0057] The maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the second embodiment includes, as shown in Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 illustrates a release step of releasing a connection between a plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and a ring 51, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connection step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the release step.

[0058] According to the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the second embodiment, in the detaching step, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is released, and the connection between the ring 51 and a drive device 53 is released. Furthermore, in the rotating step, the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined angle. Furthermore, in the connecting step, the plurality of variable vanes 22 are connected to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the detaching step, and the ring 51 is connected to the drive device 53 at a different position.

[0059] In this case, in the connecting step, a fixing bracket 101 is fixed to the ring 51, and a driving rod 76 of the driving device 53 is connected to the fixing bracket 101 so that the driving rod 76 is connected to a different position of the fixing bracket 101.

[0060] Specifically, in the ring 51, the fixing bracket 101 is fixed by a plurality of fixing bolts 104, and the fixing bracket 101 is provided with a plurality (two in this embodiment) of connecting portions 102 and 103 offset from each other in the circumferential direction to connect to the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53. The first connecting portion 102 is provided at one end of the fixing bracket 101 in the longitudinal direction (the circumferential direction of the ring 51), and the second connecting portion 103 is provided at the other end of the fixing bracket 101 in the longitudinal direction (the circumferential direction of the ring 51). The connecting portions 102 and 103 are provided so as to be separated from each other by an integral multiple (two in this embodiment) of a fixing pitch (a distance) of the variable guide vanes 22 in the ring 51.

[0061] When a portion of the ring 51 in contact with each guide roller 70 is abraded and a reduction in thickness is caused, a positional relationship between the ring 51 and the plurality of guide rollers 70 is displaced in the circumferential direction. That is, a driving force transmission mechanism (a link mechanism) 52 is first disassembled to separate the variable vanes 22 and the ring 51. Subsequently, the connection between the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 and the first link portion 102 of the fixing bracket 101 is released. After that, the ring 51 is rotated counterclockwise by two of the fixing pitches of the variable vanes 22.

[0062] Subsequently, the drive force transmission mechanism 52 is mounted to connect the variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51. Then, the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 is connected to the second connecting portion 103 of the mounting bracket 101.

[0063] In this way, the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the second embodiment includes a preparation step of preparing the ring 51 having the fixing bracket 101 fixed to the first connecting portion 102, a release step of releasing the connection between the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51 and the connection between the ring 51 and the fixing bracket 101 at the first connecting portion 102, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connecting step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51 at positions different from those before the release step and connecting the ring 51 to the fixing bracket 101 at the second connecting portion 103.Consequently, the fixing bracket 101 including the plurality of connecting portions 102 and 103 is fixed to the ring 51 so that the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 can be connected to any of the connecting portions 102 and 103.

[0064] Therefore, when the ring 51 is worn at the positions supported by the guide rollers 70, the ring 51 having the fixing bracket 101 fixed to the first connecting portion 102 is prepared, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is released, while the connection between the drive rod 76 of the driving device 53 and the first connecting portion 102 of the fixing bracket 101 is released, and the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined angle. Thereafter, the plurality of variable vanes 22 are connected to the ring 51 at positions different from the positions before the release step, while the drive rod 76 of the driving device 53 is connected to the second connecting portion 103 of the fixing bracket 101.For this reason, since the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are changed, the plurality of guide rollers 70 can properly support the ring 51 in areas where the ring 51 is not abraded. Consequently, since malfunction of the variable vanes 22 is prevented or avoided, the performance can be maintained. Furthermore, since the mounting position of the drive rod 76 in the bracket 101 is changed to change the mounting position between the drive device 53 and the ring 51, the mounting bracket 101 does not need to be disassembled, and the positions of the ring 51 can be changed by the plurality of guide rollers 70 with a simple configuration. [Third Embodiment]

[0065] Fig. 11 is a schematic diagram illustrating a main part of a variable guide vane device of a third embodiment. Furthermore, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same components having the same function as those of the above-described embodiment, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0066] A maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the third embodiment comprises, as shown in Fig. 11 illustrates a release step of releasing a connection between a plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and a ring 51, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connection step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the release step.

[0067] In this case, a drive device 111 has a stroke greater than a rotational stroke of the variable guide vane 22. The drive device 111 is an actuator and includes a drive rod (a drive portion) 112 that is movable in a reciprocating manner in the axial direction. The drive rod 112 includes a rotatable pivot joint 113. The drive device 111 is fixed to a support bracket 114, and the support bracket 114 is fixed to a housing 61 via a plurality of fixing bolts 115. Furthermore, a front end of the drive rod 112 of the drive device 111 is connected to the fixing bracket 80.

[0068] When a portion of the ring 51 in contact with each guide roller 70 is abraded and causes a reduction in thickness, a positional relationship between the ring 51 and the plurality of guide rollers 70 is offset in the circumferential direction. That is, a driving force transmission mechanism (a linking mechanism) 52 is first disassembled to separate the variable vanes 22 and the ring 51. Subsequently, the driving device 111 is driven to extend a driving rod 76, and the ring 51 is rotated counterclockwise by one fixing pitch of the variable vane 22. Subsequently, the driving force transmission mechanism 52 is assembled to connect the variable vanes 22 and the ring 51. Then, in the driving device 111, a stroke S1 of the variable vane 22 is changed to a stroke S2.

[0069] In this way, in the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the third embodiment, a stroke range in which the variable vane 122 is rotated by the drive device 111 between a fully open state and a fully closed state is changed in the circumferential direction of the ring 51. Therefore, when the ring 51 is abraded at the positions supported by the guide rollers 70, the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is released, the ring 51 is rotated by a predetermined angle, and the plurality of variable vanes 22 are connected to the ring 51 at positions different from positions before the release step.

[0070] For this reason, since the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are changed, the plurality of guide rollers 70 can properly support the ring 51 in a range where the ring 51 is not abraded. As a result, since malfunction of the variable vanes 22 is prevented, performance can be maintained. At this time, since the stroke range of the drive device 111 is changed in the circumferential direction of the ring 51 to change the positions of the ring 51 supported by the guide rollers 70, the fixing bracket 101 does not need to be loosened, and the positions of the ring 51 can be easily changed by the plurality of guide rollers 70 with a simple configuration. [Fourth Embodiment]

[0071] Fig. 12 is a schematic diagram illustrating a main part of a variable guide vane device of a fourth embodiment. Furthermore, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same components having the same function as those of the above-described embodiments, and a detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0072] A maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the fourth embodiment includes, as shown in Fig.12 illustrates a release step of releasing a connection between a plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and a ring 51 while releasing a connection between the ring 51 and a driving device 53, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connecting step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring 51 at different positions while connecting the ring 51 to the driving device 53 at a position different from a position before the release step.

[0073] A driving force transmission mechanism 121 is a gear mechanism and can change an angle of each of the plurality of intake guide vanes 22 by transmitting a rotational force of the ring 51 to the plurality of intake guide vanes 22. That is, a driving gear 123 is fixed to an axle portion 122 of the intake guide vane 22, a rack 124 is provided in the ring 51, and the driving gear 123 of each intake guide vane 22 is engaged with the rack 124 of the ring 51.

[0074] For this reason, when the ring 51 rotates, a rotational force is transmitted to each intake guide vane 22 via the driving force transmission mechanism (the gear mechanism) 121 so that each intake guide vane 22 rotates and a passage 64 is opened and closed.

[0075] When a portion of the ring 51 in contact with each guide roller 70 is abraded, causing a reduction in thickness, a positional relationship between the ring 51 and the plurality of guide rollers 70 is displaced in the circumferential direction. That is, the driving force transmission mechanism 121 is first disassembled to separate the variable vanes 22 and the ring 51. After that, a connection between a drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 and a fixing bracket 80 is loosened. Subsequently, the ring 51 is rotated counterclockwise by twice a fixing pitch of the variable vanes 22 (by two pitches). The following is the

[0076] A drive force transmission mechanism 121 is mounted to connect the variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51. Then, the drive rod 76 of the drive device 53 is connected to the mounting bracket 80.

[0077] In this way, the maintenance method for a variable guide vane device of the fourth embodiment includes a release step of releasing the connection between the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 and the ring 51, a rotation step of rotating the ring 51 by a predetermined angle, and a connection step of connecting the plurality of variable guide vanes 22 to the ring at positions different from positions before the release step.

[0078] Therefore, since the positions of the ring 51 supported by the plurality of guide rollers 70 are changed, the plurality of guide rollers 70 can properly support the ring 51 in areas where the ring 51 is not worn. As a result, since malfunction of the variable guide vanes 22 is prevented or avoided, performance can be maintained.

[0079] Furthermore, the maintenance method for a variable vane device of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above. For example, a configuration may be adopted in which the connection between the plurality of variable vanes 22 and the ring 51 is released while the connection between the housing and the drive device is released, the ring is rotated by a predetermined opening degree, and the plurality of variable vanes are connected to the ring at different positions while the housing is connected to the drive device at a different position.

[0080] Further, a configuration may be adopted in which a position adjusting mechanism is provided which is operated by engagement between a pin and an elongated hole provided in at least one of the gap between the ring and the fixing bracket, the gap between the fixing bracket and the driving portion, or the gap between the driving device and the housing, and adjusts the positions of both components before both components are immovably fixed by a fixing bolt.

[0081] Furthermore, if the positions of the plurality of guide rollers are adjustable in the circumferential direction of the ring 51 in the housing, the positions of the ring can be changed while the positions of the plurality of guide rollers are shifted.

[0082] Furthermore, in the embodiments, the guide of the present disclosure is configured as the guide roller 70, but the present disclosure is not limited to a rolling roller. For example, a sliding sliding member may also be used.
