Abstract

Steer-by-wire steering device comprising: a sliding rod (111); a motor (115) connected to the sliding rod (111) via a gearbox (113) to move the sliding rod (111); and a sensor (117) that detects rotation information from the gearbox (113) and detects a movement position of the slide rod (111) based on the rotation information, wherein the gearbox (113) comprises a ball nut (312) coupled to the slide rod (111), a nut pulley (311) coupled to the ball nut (312), a motor pulley (313) coupled to a motor shaft (115a) of the motor (115), and a belt (314) connecting the nut pulley (311) and the motor pulley (313), and the sensor (117) detects the rotation information from at least one of the following elements: the nut pulley (311), the ball nut (312), the motor pulley (313), or the belt (314), wherein the sensor (117) comprises a gear element (320).which rotates in engagement with the nut pulley (311), the ball nut (312), the motor pulley (313) or the belt (314), and the sensor (117) detects the rotation information of the gear element (320), wherein the gear element (320) comprises a first gear element (321) and a second gear element (322) with different diameters, each rotating in engagement with the nut pulley (311), the ball nut (312), the motor pulley (313) or the belt (314), and the rotation information comprises a first rotation information, which is rotation information of the first gear element (321), and a second rotation information, which is rotation information of the second gear element (322), wherein the sensor (117) determines the movement position of the sliding rod (111) based on the first rotation information and the second rotation information.
