Abstract

Battery cell comprising: a housing provided with an opening; an electrode assembly received in the housing; and an end cap arranged at one end of the housing along a first direction and closing the opening, the end cap comprising a cover body and a connecting part; the connecting part being arranged around an outer surface of the cover body; and the connecting part being sealed to the housing, the cover body being provided along the first direction with a first outer surface facing away from the electrode assembly; the first outer surface being a surface of the end cap furthest from the electrode assembly; and the connecting part being closer to the electrode assembly than the first outer surface.
