Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a cable fastening component according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] Cable fastening components are used to fix cables and cable ends of devices to profile rails.

[0003] The cable ends of devices or their cables that are mounted on aluminum profile rails are often not secured by a suitable arrangement on the profiles, but only with the help of cable ties that are fastened around the profiles.

[0004] An object of the invention is to provide an improved cable fastening component.

[0005] The object is achieved according to claim 1 by a cable fastening component, wherein the cable fastening component can be fastened in a groove with an undercut, wherein the cable fastening component has at least one receptacle for a cable and / or a cable tie, wherein the cable fastening component has a fastening adapter for the groove, wherein the fastening adapter has a first section with a first dimension, which allows the fastening adapter to be inserted into the groove perpendicular to the groove, wherein the cable fastening component with the fastening adapter can be rotated by 90° in the groove, so that a second section with a second dimension, which is wider than the opening of the groove, is arranged under the groove shoulder, wherein at least one wedge-shaped section is provided, wherein the wedge-shaped section is moved under the groove shoulder during the rotational movement and the cable fastening component is clamped with the fastening adapter under the groove shoulder.

[0006] The cable fastening component is preferably made of plastic. In particular, the cable fastening component is manufactured using an injection molding process. The cable fastening component is preferably a one-piece component without any moving parts.

[0007] The groove is, for example, part of a profile rail, for example an extruded profile. The profile rail can be part of a mounting structure. The profile rail can also be part of a housing, in particular a sensor housing, for example a light grid housing. The profile rail is preferably made of aluminum. However, the profile rail can also be made of steel or stainless steel, for example. The profile rail has a square or rectangular cross-section and has, for example, a longitudinal groove or slot on each long side. The groove or longitudinal groove has an undercut on both sides which is formed by groove shoulders. T-nuts can be inserted into the groove, for example to attach sensors, for example light grids.

[0008] The groove can have a rectangular cross-section. However, the groove can also have other cross-section shapes. For example, a recess for cable routing can be provided in the groove.

[0009] The undercut is formed by two projections that narrow the groove on the outside of the profile rail on both sides, so that the groove is open to the outside of the profile rail, but the undercuts can serve as fastening surfaces for sliding blocks or the fastening adapter of the cable fastening component.

[0010] The receptacle for a cable can be formed by a channel in the cable fastening component. A cable can be attached to the receptacle. The cable is preferably a connecting cable for a sensor, in particular a light grid.

[0011] The cable is, for example, a multi-core cable. The cable is round, for example, and has a diameter of approximately 2 mm to approximately 10 mm. For example, the cable has a diameter of approximately 3 mm.

[0012] The mounting adapter is integrally connected to the cable fastening component and is a part of the cable fastening component. The mounting adapter is used to secure the cable fastening component in the groove.

[0013] The fastening adapter is inserted vertically into the slot opening. For this purpose, the fastening adapter has a first section which is narrower than the slot opening. After the fastening adapter has been inserted into the groove with the first section, the cable fastening component with the fastening adapter is rotated 90° in the groove. The rotation takes place in the plane of the surface of the profile rail on which the cable fastening component is arranged. The second section of the fastening adapter is rotated under the groove shoulders. The second section has a dimension which is wider than the slot opening and thus engages under the groove shoulders. The first section and the second section are connected to one another with a wedge-shaped section. The wedge-shaped section is designed, for example, as a flat surface. This wedge-shaped section with the flat surface slides under the groove shoulder during rotation and clamps the mounting adapter in the groove under the groove shoulders. The mounting adapter is moved toward the bottom of the groove. The cable fastening component has a flat surface that then rests against the surface of the extruded profile, i.e., the outside of the groove of the profile rail, or is pressed against the surface of the profile rail, i.e., the outside of the groove of the extruded profile, by the rotational movement of the cable fastening component in the groove.

[0014] In a further development of the invention, the cable fastening component has locking projections, wherein the locking projections protrude into the opening of the groove after rotation of the cable fastening component and fix the cable fastening component.

[0015] The cable fastening component has a flat surface which then rests on the surface of the profile rail, i.e. on the outside of the groove in the profile rail, or is pressed against the surface of the profile rail, i.e. on the outside of the groove in the profile rail, by the rotational movement of the cable fastening component in the groove. The locking projections are arranged on this flat surface of the cable fastening component, which faces the groove. The locking projections are arranged, for example, opposite the fastening adapter. The locking projections have, for example, a width which corresponds to the width of the groove opening. The locking projections fix the cable fastening component in the groove so that it cannot twist. When the locking projections engage in the groove, an acoustic noise, in particular an acoustic click, is preferably generated, which is audible to humans and signals that the cable fastening component has engaged in the groove.

[0016] In a further development of the invention, the cable fastening component has at least two receptacles, each for a single cable. This allows at least two cables to be arranged on the cable fastening component.

[0017] In a further development of the invention, the cable fastening component has at least two receptacles, each for at least one cable tie. This allows a cable tie to be arranged in at least one of the receptacles. For example, a cable is arranged on a surface of the cable fastening component and secured in the receptacle by the cable tie.

[0018] In a further development of the invention, the receptacles are orthogonal or perpendicular to each other. This allows a cable to be secured in a first direction or a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

[0019] In a further development of the invention, the receptacles are parallel to each other. This allows at least two cables to be arranged parallel or side by side on the cable fastening component.

[0020] In a further development of the invention, the receptacles form closed channels. This allows the cables to be inserted into the closed channels, where they are already secured and cannot be easily removed. This allows for very simple installation.

[0021] In a further development of the invention, the receptacles form open channels. This allows the cables to be easily inserted laterally into the open channels. The open channels, for example, have a conical shape that narrows toward the rear wall of the channel, forming a wedge-shaped channel opening, which allows the cable to be easily clamped.

[0022] In a further development of the invention, the cable fastening component has at least one opening and a guide for a cable tie. The opening is arranged such that the cable tie can be fixed to the cable fastening component and can enclose the cable. This allows the cable to be fixed to the cable fastening component.

[0023] The guide is arranged so that the cable tie can be guided on the cable fastening component, thereby improving the fixation of the cable tie on the cable fastening component.
