Description

▪ State of the art:

[0001] The boards currently on the market are all foldable.

[0002] Here, damage due to tearing occurs quickly, especially in the folded geometries, as these areas are exposed to high mechanical stress. ▪ Problem 1. Waste disposal (food cuttings, e.g. bread crumbs, fruit, vegetables, etc.)

[0003] The problem with disposing of food after cutting it into a waste container is that often even the short side of the cutting board is larger than the diagonal of the waste container.

[0004] As a result, leftovers usually fall next to the trash can during disposal and end up on the floor or in the drawer area (in the case of pull-out systems). 2. Place food in the pot / pan

[0005] The problem after cutting food is getting it into the pot or pan. Smaller pots and pans, in particular, have a smaller diameter than most commercially available cutting boards used for food preparation. ▪ Problem solving

[0006] Non-slip cutting board with removable, magnetic wooden guide rails Fig. 1 - Bottom view Fig. 2 - Top view Fig. 3 - Isometrics Fig. 4 - Detail guide rail underside Fig. 5 - Detail guide rail cross section

[0007] The solution to the problem is to use the underside of the cutting board ( Fig. 1, point 1) wooden embedded magnetic rails ( Fig. 1, point 3) and attachable / removable angled “guide rails” ( Fig. 2 and Fig. 4, point 4) made of wood with embedded magnets (short piece) ( Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, point 5).

[0008] Under the cutting board there are rubber feet in the corners ( Fig. 1, point 2) to ensure slip resistance on different worktop materials.

[0009] The three linearly embedded magnetic rails ( Fig. 1, point 3) are used for the variable displacement of the guide rails and thus make different muzzle openings possible (see Fig. 2 - dashed representation).

[0010] All magnetic components ( Fig. 1, point 3 and Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, point 5) are embedded in the wood in such a way that the underside is filled with food-safe wood filling ( Fig. 5, point 6) a homogeneous material surface remains. Claims

[1] Cutting board (1) made of wood characterized by that the thickness is at least 1.5 cm, maximum 3.0 cm, preferably 1.7 cm. [2] Cutting board (1) according to claim 1, characterized by that at least 4 rubber feet (2) are attached to the underside to prevent slipping. [3] Cutting board according to one of the preceding claims, at least two, but ideally three linear magnetic strips (3) are embedded in the cutting board (1) over the short length on the underside. [4] Guide rails (4) characterized by that two removable, movable wooden blocks (4) are mirror-inverted at an angle of at least 30° and a maximum of 45°. [5] Guide rails according to claim 4, characterized by that at least two, preferably three magnet pieces (5) are embedded in the wooden guide rails on the underside and are sealed with food-safe filling (6).
