Description

[0001] The invention relates to a retrofittable solution for attaching a luggage hook to two-wheeled vehicles, in particular mopeds that do not have a luggage hook due to their design, for example, the moped known as the Simson Schwalbe. The mount is particularly suitable for retrofitting two-wheelers that are not equipped with a centrally positioned luggage hook on the dashboard as standard and therefore do not have the necessary structure to firmly and securely accommodate a luggage hook. The mount is specifically designed for retrofitting and allows for a secure attachment of luggage hooks without compromising the structural integrity or functionality of the vehicle.

[0002] Many two-wheelers lack a suitable way to securely attach luggage hooks, especially on vehicles that aren't factory-equipped with appropriate mounts. Conventional solutions are often insufficiently stable or require extensive modifications to the vehicle.

[0003] The objective of the invention is to create a retrofittable, stable, and durable connection option for luggage hooks that does not impair the functionality of the bicycle. The mount should be robust enough to withstand the stresses and strains of riding while simultaneously allowing for easy retrofitting to the bicycle.

[0004] The mount is equipped with two mounting holes that allow connection to the frame or other suitable structure of the bicycle. These mounting holes are spaced between 100 mm and 150 mm apart. In addition, the mount has two additional mounting holes, preferably with internal threads and spaced between 20 mm and 30 mm apart. These allow for the attachment of luggage hooks.

[0005] An embodiment of the invention is described with reference to Fig. 1 explains. It shows: Fig. 1 an isometric view of a bracket for attaching a luggage hook.

[0006] The invention comprises a bracket (1) having an arrangement of four mounting holes. The two outer mounting holes (2) and (3) serve for attachment to the vehicle frame, while the two central mounting holes (4) and (5) serve for attachment of the luggage hook. The holes (4) and (5) are equidistant from the center of holes (2) and (3), which allows for precise and symmetrical mounting of the luggage hook relative to the attachment points on the vehicle frame.

[0007] Preferably, the mounting holes (4) and (5) are equipped with an internal thread to allow easy installation of luggage hooks. List of reference symbols 1 bracket 2 mounting holes vehicle frame 3 mounting hole vehicle frame 4 mounting hole luggage hook 5 mounting hole luggage hook
