Abstract

A housing for a lighter, characterized in that the lighter (1) is placed in a housing (2), which is equipped with an operating lever (6) for operating the ignition button (9) of a commercially available lighter (1), specially designed for seniors who have difficulty pressing the ignition button (9).

Description

[0001] Older people often have problems pressing the ignition button on the lighter.

[0002] With my invention the lighter is easy to operate.

[0003] A standard commercially available lighter is used for this purpose.

[0004] The lighter (1) is placed in a housing (2). The housing (2) has two side tabs (3) with holes (4).

[0005] An operating lever (6) with its two locking pins (7) is then snapped into this.

[0006] The operating lever (6) has a rib (8) on the underside which lies on the ignition button (9) of the lighter (1).

[0007] By pressing the operating lever (6) the lighter (1) can now be lit very easily.

[0008] At the bottom of the housing (2) there is an opening (5) through which the lighter (1) can be refilled again and again.

Claims

[1] Case for lighter characterized by that the lighter (1) is placed in a housing (2) which is provided with an operating lever (6) to actuate the ignition button (9) of a commercially available lighter (1), specially developed for seniors who have difficulty pressing the ignition button (9). [2] Casing for lighter according to claim 1, characterized by that: the operating lever (6) is ergonomically designed to allow easy operation of the ignition button (9) with minimal effort [3] A lighter housing according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by that : the housing (2) has an opening (5) at the bottom which allows the lighter (1) to be refilled without having to remove it from the housing (2).
