Description

[0001] The invention relates to a studded plate having the features of the introductory part of claim 1.

[0002] The invention further relates to the use of a device for producing a studded plate and the use of a device for producing studded plates.

[0003] Studded panels consist of a deep-drawable film in which projections (studs) are formed using the deep-drawing process.

[0004] These studded panels are used to hold electrical cables or pipes used in underfloor heating systems, with the pipes being inserted between studs.

[0005] Well-known studded panels have a support plate made of foamed plastic (EPS) on their underside - that is, the side opposite the protruding studs.

[0006] If studded panels with a low construction height are required, studded panels are also used without a foam panel (e.g. EPS) underneath.

[0007] To ensure that studded panels have sufficient load-bearing capacity without EPS panels underneath, holes are provided in the end surfaces of the studs. Flowing screed, which is applied after the studded panel has been laid and the cables or pipes have been inserted, penetrates through these holes into the hollow spaces of the studs and fills them. Once the flowing screed has hardened (set), the studded panel is sufficiently load-bearing and resilient.

[0008] The flowing screed also creates a connection with the subfloor on which the studded panels are laid and also has a sound-insulating effect.

[0009] The holes in the end surfaces of the studs were previously created by punching. Punching is a complex and therefore costly process.

[0010] The invention is based on the object of providing an improved studded plate.

[0011] Furthermore, the invention is based on the object of proposing the use of a device for producing the studded plate according to the invention.

[0012] Finally, the invention relates to the use of a device for producing studded plates.

[0013] The first-mentioned object is achieved according to the invention with a studded plate having the features of claim 1.

[0014] As far as the use is concerned, the second and third mentioned problems are each solved by the features of the independent claims directed to the use.

[0015] Finally, a use of devices for manufacturing is disclosed which can help to solve the problem underlying the invention with the independent claims directed to the use of the device.

[0016] Preferred and advantageous further embodiments of the studded plate according to the invention and the use of a respective device are the subject of the subclaims.

[0017] Since the dimpled sheet according to the invention features collars around the holes in the free end surfaces of the dimples, which protrude particularly outward, i.e., away from the inside of the dimples, the holes in the end surfaces of the dimples can be created easily. For example, the holes can be created by creating protrusions, such as projections, in the end surfaces of the dimples during the deep-drawing of the dimpled film. These projections are then removed, creating the desired holes in the end surfaces of the dimples without requiring any further steps.

[0018] The collars provided around the holes ensure improved stability of the studs despite the holes, so that no undesirable deformation of the studded plate, especially its studs, can occur when flowing screed is applied.

[0019] A particularly advantageous feature of the inventive use of a device for producing studded panels according to the invention is that it is sufficient to separate the projections molded onto the studs. Thus, the desired holes in the end surfaces of the studs are created in a simple separation process (cutting, sawing).

[0020] If the projections are cut off at a distance from the free end surfaces of the studs, which is often advantageous for spatial reasons because the tools for cutting off the projections do not damage the end surfaces of the studs, the advantageous collars around the holes in the end surfaces of the studs are created at the same time during the cutting off process.

[0021] An advantageous device for use according to the invention comprises a first conveyor device which moves stud plates provided with projections on the studs to a tool, a tool for separating the projections from the end surfaces of the studs and a further conveyor device for transporting stud plates with holes in the end surfaces of the studs.

[0022] The conveying devices used according to the invention can be, for example, horizontal conveyors, such as belt conveyors or conveyors with several belts or cords as conveying means.

[0023] A band saw or a band knife is particularly intended as a tool for separating the projections from the end surfaces of the studs.

[0024] Further details and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. It shows: Fig. 1 a section of a studded plate with projections formed on the end surfaces of studs, Fig. 2 a section of the studded plate from Fig. 1 after removing the projections, Fig. 3 in section a studded plate embedded in a screed, Fig. 4 an alternative studded plate, Fig. 5 in oblique view (schematic) a device for use according to the invention, and Fig. 6 in view the device of Fig. 5.

[0025] A studded plate 1 according to the invention comprises a film of thermoformable plastic in which studs 2 are formed according to a predetermined pattern. Studded plates 1, of which Fig. 1 to 4 only sections are shown, can for example have a length of 1000 mm and a width of 600 mm or be present as sheets (length e.g. 10 m, width e.g. 1 m) and carry a plurality of studs 2 which are arranged distributed over the studded plates 1 according to a grid.

[0026] An adhesive may be applied to the underside of the studded plate 1. The adhesive may be a self-adhesive adhesive covered by a protective film before use, or a hot-melt adhesive.

[0027] For example, a film made of one of the following thermoplastics can be used as a deep-drawing film for the dimpled panels 1 according to the invention: - Polyethylene (PE) - Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) - Polypropylene (PP) - Polystyrene (PS) - Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) - Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) - Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)

[0028] Cables or pipes from underfloor heating systems can be inserted and held in place in the spaces between the studs 2.

[0029] Holes 4 are provided in the free end surfaces 3 of the studs 2.

[0030] Around the holes 4 are ( Fig. 2) collars 5 are provided, which point away from the inside of the knobs 2, i.e. protrude outwards.

[0031] In order to produce the holes 4 in the end surfaces of the knobs 2, projections 6 are formed on the end surfaces 3 of the knobs 2 during the deep drawing of the plastic film to produce the knob plate, as shown in Fig. 1. The projections 6 are formed integrally with the studs 2, particularly since they are produced simultaneously with the deep-drawing of the stud plate 1.

[0032] After the projections 6 have been separated, the Fig. 2 shown holes 4 in the end surfaces 3 of the knobs 2.

[0033] Since the separation of the projections 6 from the free end surfaces 3 of the knobs 2 takes place at a small distance from the free end surfaces 3 - in order not to damage the free end surfaces of the knobs - collars 5 remain around the holes 4 on the end surfaces 3 of the knobs 2, which protrude outwards from the knobs 2, as can be seen from Fig. 2 is evident.

[0034] The free end surfaces 3 of the studs 2 do not have to be flat. The end surface 3 can, for example, have a trough-shaped depression 7. This embodiment is shown in Fig. 4 shown.

[0035] The side surface of the studs 2 can have a different shape—apart from the essentially (circular) cylindrical shape shown in the drawings. For example, the studs 2 can have ribs and grooves in their side surface. Furthermore, locking projections can be provided on the side surface of the studs 2, which secure cables or pipes inserted between the studs 2 and prevent cables or pipes from accidentally slipping out of the space between the studs 2.

[0036] The holes 4 in the free end surfaces 3 of the studs 2 do not have to be circular.

[0037] The holes 4 in the free end surfaces 3 of the studs 2 do not have to be in the center of the end surface 3.

[0038] When flowing screed 8 is applied to the studded plate 1 after the electrical cables or pipes have been inserted between the studs 2, it penetrates through the holes 4 in the end surfaces 3 of the studs 2 into the interior of the studs 2, so that the studs 2 are filled with flowing screed 8. After the flowing screed 8 has hardened (set), a highly resilient studded plate 1 and thus a highly resilient underfloor heating system are created.

[0039] When using a device according to the invention, in particular in the step of separating the projections 6 from the end surfaces 3 of the knobs 2, for example, a schematically shown Fig. 5 shown device 9 can be used.

[0040] This device 9 comprises - a first conveyor device 10 for feeding studded plates 1, on the studs 2 of which projections 6 are provided, - a device 11 for separating the projections 6 from the knobs 2, and - a further conveyor device 12 for transporting studded plates 1, the studs of which have holes 4 in their end surfaces 3.

[0041] Instead of the two conveyor devices 10 and 12, a continuous conveyor device can be provided.

[0042] The tool provided in the device 11 for separating the projections 6 is, for example, a band saw or a band knife that operates transversely to the conveying direction (arrow 13) of both conveyor devices 10 and 12. The device 11 for separating the projections 6 can also comprise a heated cutting wire.

[0043] Facility 11 includes in Fig. The embodiment shown in Figure 6 is a band saw with an endless saw blade 14 guided by deflections 15. A height stop 16 is provided above the sawing-off section of the saw blade 14. The stud plate 1, which also has projections 6 on studs 2, is guided between the height stop 16 and the top side of the conveyor device 10, so that the stud plate 1 is correctly aligned with respect to the saw blade 14. One of the deflections 15 is driven by a motor 17.

[0044] At the Fig. In the embodiment of the device 11 shown in Fig. 6, an endless, rotating knife band can be provided instead of the rotating saw band 14.

[0045] In principle, the device 11 can also comprise a reciprocating saw or a reciprocating knife or a heated cutting wire as a tool for separating the projections 6 from knobs 2.

[0046] The conveyor devices 10 and 12 can be conveyor belts or conveyor belts or conveyor cords that move substantially horizontally aligned studded plates 1 relative to the tool of the device 11.

[0047] The conveyor device 10 can also be designed as a movable table.

[0048] The collar 5 may have the shape of the shell of a cylinder or the shape of the shell of a truncated cone.

[0049] The collar 5 can have a concavely curved cross-sectional shape, as seen from the outside, at least in some areas. In particular, the curved area is located adjacent to the edge of the hole 4 in the end surface 3 of the studs 2. A cylindrical or frustoconical area of the collar 5 can adjoin the curved area of the collar 5.

[0050] The collars 5 are provided within the inner edge of the holes 4. If the holes 4 are circular, the collars 5 are annular.

[0051] The holes 4 in the end surfaces 3 of the studs do not have to be circular, but can also be holes 4 with a polygonal, for example triangular, square or polygonal inner edge.

[0052] In summary, an embodiment of the invention can be described as follows: A studded plate 1 with holes 4 in the end surfaces 3 of studs 2 is produced by cutting off projections 6 formed from the end surfaces 3 of studs 2 during the deep-drawing of the studded plate 1. The separation of the projections 6 from the end surfaces 3 of studs 2 is carried out with the aid of a tool that cuts off projections 6 at a small distance from the end surfaces 3 of studs 2, so that collars 5 are formed around the holes 4 on the end surfaces 3 of studs 2.
