Description

Field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of bicycle quick release structures and, more particularly, to a fastening structure for the quick release handle. State of the art

[0002] The quick release device is a fastening device that can be quickly locked or unlocked, as known, for example, from Taiwanese patent M521680, and can be widely used for sports equipment such as bicycles, scooters, and exercise bikes.

[0003] Conventional quick-release clamps typically use an eccentric cam mechanism to quickly lock or unlock the operating lever. However, there are some structural deficiencies, such as: 1. After pressing the operating lever, the alignment of the operating lever must be adjusted to reduce the risk of it being struck by foreign objects and becoming dislodged. However, the pressing position of the operating lever may not necessarily coincide with the specified position, causing operational difficulties for the user. 2. The quick release device with a conventional eccentric cam mechanism has a complex overall structure and many components, which increases production costs and assembly time. Object of the invention

[0004] The invention is based on the object of eliminating the above-mentioned deficiencies in the prior art by the innovative design of the structure and providing a fastening structure for the quick-release handle.

[0005] According to the above object of the present invention, a fastening structure for the quick release handle is provided, comprising a spindle, an elastic piece, and an operating lever, wherein the peripheral side of one end of the spindle is provided with an external thread, a geometric hole is recessed in the cutting surface of the other end, the wall of the geometric hole has a recess in the form of at least one engagement recess, the elastic piece is snapped into the engagement recess, and a geometric rod matching the geometric hole is arranged at one end of the operating lever. With the above composition, when the spindle is locked, the operating lever can be inserted, wherein the elastic piece ensures a more firm insertion of the operating lever, and after the spindle is locked, the operating lever can be removed to prevent the spindle from being accidentally rotated. Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of the appearance of an embodiment according to the present invention; Fig. 2 shows a schematic sectional view of the subcomponents of the embodiment according to Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows a schematic sectional view of the embodiment according to Fig. 1; Fig. 4 shows a schematic exploded view of the embodiment according to Fig. 1; Fig. 5 shows a first schematic sectional exploded view of the subcomponents of the embodiment according to Fig. 4; Fig. 6 shows a second schematic sectional exploded view of the subcomponents of the embodiment according to Fig. 4. Detailed description of the embodiment

[0006] The fastening structure for the quick-release handle according to the invention is described in detail below using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the figures. The components of the present invention mentioned in this exemplary embodiment are not necessarily to scale with regard to their proportions, dimensions, and amount of deformation and displacement, but are only shown schematically. In the exemplary embodiment, identical and symmetrical components are represented by the same reference numerals. The following directional terms such as "front, back, left, right, top, bottom, inside, and outside" in the description of the exemplary embodiment are shown according to the indicated direction in the figure and should not be construed as limiting the present invention.

[0007] It is based on the Fig.1 to 6. The fastening structure for the quick-release handle according to the invention comprises a spindle 10, at least one elastic piece 20, an actuating lever 30, and at least one washer 40.

[0008] The spindle 10 has a rod body 11, a rod head 12, an external thread 111, a geometric bore 121 and at least one engagement recess 122.

[0009] The rod body 11 has a predetermined contour.

[0010] The rod head 12 is arranged at one end of the rod body 11.

[0011] The external thread 111 is arranged on the circumferential side of one end of the rod body 11 and away from the rod head 12.

[0012] The geometric hole 121 is recessed in the cut surface of one end of the rod end 12. In the implementation, the geometric hole 121 is a non-circular polygonal hole.

[0013] The engagement recess 122 is recessed in the wall of the geometric bore 121.

[0014] The elastic piece 20 is engaged in the engagement recess 122, for which purpose the diameter of a portion of the geometric bore 121 is adapted. The elastic piece has a slightly U-shaped profile and an outwardly extending bending segment 21 at two free ends.

[0015] The operating lever 30 has a handle portion 31, a connecting portion 32, a connecting socket 33 and a geometric rod 34.

[0016] The handle portion 31 has a predetermined contour and is intended to be held by the user.

[0017] The connecting portion 32 is arranged at one end of the handle portion 31.

[0018] The connecting bushing 33 is recessed in the cut surface of one end of the connecting section 32 and is adapted to the outer contour of the rod head 12.

[0019] The geometric rod 34 is attached at one end to the bottom of the connection socket 33 and has an outer contour adapted to the geometric bore 121.

[0020] The annular groove 331 is formed in the wall of the connection socket 33 in the form of a recess and serves to receive an O-ring A.

[0021] The washer 40 surrounds the peripheral side of the rod body 11, one end of which rests against the rod head 12, wherein the predetermined end surface of the washer 40 is provided with a rough anti-slip surface 41.

[0022] The various components and assembly methods of the quick-release handle mounting structure according to the invention have been described above. The operating characteristics of the embodiment of the present invention will be described below.

[0023] In using the present invention, first, the rod body 11 of the spindle 10 is passed through the shaft hole of the fork body of a bicycle (not shown), wherein the external thread 111 of the spindle 10 is screwed to the fork body so that the rod head 12 of the spindle 10 rests against the fork body.

[0024] Subsequently, the geometric rod 34 of the operating lever 34 is inserted into the geometric hole 121 of the spindle 10. At this point, the user can apply force to push the operating lever 30 and move the spindle 10 so that the rod end 12 of the spindle 10 is pressed against the fork body. After the adjustment is complete, the operating lever 30 can be removed without worrying about the orientation of the operating lever 30.

[0025] The geometric rod 34 must be inserted into the geometric hole 121, so an appropriate gap between them must be maintained during design. The larger the gap, the smoother the insertion of the geometric rod 34, but the rotation is not necessarily smooth. On the contrary, the smaller the gap, the more difficult the insertion of the geometric rod 34 is, but the force can be transmitted more directly during rotation.

[0026] To overcome this deficiency, in the present invention, an elastic piece 20 is disposed in the geometric hole 121 so that a larger gap can be provided to facilitate the insertion of the geometric rod 34. After the geometric rod 34 is inserted into the geometric hole 121, the elastic piece 20 is used to close the gap between the geometric rod 34 and the geometric hole 121, thus achieving the intended purpose of a press fit.

[0027] In addition, an O-ring A is arranged on the wall of the connecting socket 33 of the operating lever 30, whereby the connecting socket 33 and the rod head 12 are firmly connected to each other to facilitate stability when the operating lever 30 is rotated by the user.

[0028] The present invention thus discloses a fastening structure for the quick-release handle, comprising a spindle, an elastic piece, and an operating lever. The peripheral side of one end of the spindle is provided with an external thread, a geometric bore is recessed in the cutting surface of the other end, the wall of the geometric bore has a recess in the form of at least one engagement recess, the elastic piece is snapped into the engagement recess, and a geometric rod matched to the geometric bore is arranged at one end of the operating lever. With the above composition, the operating lever can be inserted when the spindle is locked, the elastic piece ensures a more secure insertion of the operating lever, and after the spindle is locked, the operating lever can be removed to prevent the spindle from being accidentally rotated.

[0029] The above description represents only a preferred embodiment of the invention and is not intended to limit the claims. All equivalent changes and modifications that can be made by one skilled in the art in accordance with the description and drawings of the invention are within the scope of the present invention.
