Abstract
Description
[0001] Standard bike bags often don't have the option to be used as a backpack. If the bike bag can be used as a backpack, either the bike mount on the back is inconvenient or the backpack is difficult and complex to convert.
[0002] The invention defined in claim 1 is based on the problem of creating a backpack that can be quickly converted into a bicycle bag without having to make any compromises in terms of carrying comfort or in its function as a fully-fledged bicycle bag.
[0003] This problem is solved by the features listed in claims 1 to 5.
[0004] The invention creates a backpack that can be converted into a fully-fledged bicycle bag in just a few simple steps: The bicycle mount on the back of the backpack allows for easy attachment to the bicycle's luggage rack. A cover ensures that the carrying straps do not interfere with use as a bicycle bag. Another cover ensures that the bicycle mount is protected and does not interfere with use as a backpack. The fact that the bicycle mount and carrying straps are on opposite sides ensures that the bicycle mount does not press into your back when used as a backpack.
[0005] An embodiment of the invention is described with reference to Fig. 1 to 4. They show: Fig. 1 the front of the backpack with the carrying straps unfolded. Fig. 2 the front of the backpack with the carrying straps tucked away. Fig. 3 the back of the backpack with covered bike mount. Fig. 4 the back of the backpack with the bike mount unfolded.
[0006] In Fig. 1 the carrying straps (1) are unfolded and attached to the side of the bag using a click fastener (2).
[0007] In Fig. 2 the carrying straps (1) were clicked out at the bottom and stowed behind the cover (3).
[0008] Fig. Figure 3 shows the back of the backpack. The bike mount (4) is hidden behind the top cover (5). The cover (5) has a zipper (6) that serves to close the cover (5) when the bike mount (4) is not in use.
[0009] Fig. Figure 4 shows the back of the backpack. The zipper (6) has been opened and the cover (5) has been folded upwards. The bike mount (4) is visible, and the backpack is ready for use as a bike bag.
