Description

The invention relates to a mechanical securing device for the anti-theft fastening of outboard motors to watercraft. The fuse is designed in such a way that it prevents unauthorized removal or theft of the outboard motor and is easy to install and operate. The device is made of corrosion resistant material, VdS certified and is manufactured entirely in Germany. The securing means consists essentially of a base plate (7), a pressure screw (2), a tightening bolt (3), a locking bolt (4), two pins (5), a ball (6), a hexagonal adapter (8) and three threaded pins (9).List of reference characters1 Securing nut 2 Pressure screw 3 Tightening bolt 4 Locking bolt 5 Pin 6 Ball 7 Base plate 8 Hexagonal adapter 9 Threaded pin

Claims

Mechanical securing device for anti-theft fastening of an outboard motor, characterised in that the base plate (7) completely covers the fastening points of the motor when the device is mounted and is secured against unauthorized opening by means of a securing nut (1).Securing device according to claim 1, characterised in that the base plate (7) is at least 15 mm thick and consists of corrosion-resistant, hardened steel.Securing device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the base plate (7) with the locking bolt (4) fits into the different positions of the row of holes in the outboard motor.Securing device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the tightening bolt (3) is secured against separation tests by means of 2 pins (5) and a ball (6). This is ensured by the co-rotation of the pins in the bore.Securing device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the securing nut (1) is secured by means of the pressure screw (2).Securing device according to claim 5, characterised in that the hexagonal adapter (8) with 3 threaded pins (9) is used for tightening and loosening the securing nut (1). This is an individual piece due to the component due to different drill placements in each securing means.
