Abstract

Reusable projectile for compressed air weapons, comprising a body made of elastic material with: - a substantially cylindrical outer contour with a diameter of 12.7 mm and a length of 14 mm - a closed, dome-shaped front side, - an axial opening arranged at the rear for receiving a ball mass, - a spherical receptacle formed inside the body with a diameter of 7.8 mm or 5.8 mm, - wherein the ball mass is reversibly fixed by elastic deformation of the body, and the projectile is designed for multiple use with an exchangeable ball mass and has special aerodynamics due to the closed body despite the higher weight than purely elastic bodies due to the ball mass. Claims

[1] Reusable projectile for pneumatic weapons, comprising a body made of elastic material with: - a substantially cylindrical outer contour with a diameter of 12.7 mm and a length of 14 mm - a closed, dome-shaped front side, - an axial opening at the rear for accommodating a ball mass, - a spherical receptacle formed inside the body with a diameter of 7.8 mm or 5.8 mm, - where the spherical mass is reversibly fixed by elastic deformation of the body, and the projectile is designed for multiple use with replaceable bullet mass and due to the closed body it has a special aerodynamics despite the higher weight due to the spherical mass than pure elastic bodies Subclaims [2] Projectile according to claim 1, wherein the spherical receptacle is designed as a blind hole which narrows from the rear side and receives the spherical mass in a form-fitting manner. [3] Projectile according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the ball mass is a steel ball with a diameter of 8 mm or 6 mm. [4] Projectile according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the body is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). [5] Projectile according to one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one annular rib is arranged on the outside of the body for stabilization in the magazine or barrel. [6] A projectile according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the body has a textured or reinforced zone in the region of the ball seat to increase durability during repeated use. [7] Projectile according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the ball mass can be removed without tools by finger pressure.
