Description
[0001] Increasing amounts of plastic waste (PET plastic) and discarded windmill blades (fiberglass) are a problem.
[0002] Disposal by burning causes air pollution. Other disposal methods incur high costs.
[0003] My approach to using these materials is to shred them into small pieces and use these pieces mixed with concrete to produce formwork blocks.
[0004] The mixing ratio depends on testing by official testing authorities (load-bearing capacity, heat resistance, fire resistance). For example, the mixing ratio could be 60 liters of plastic scraps, 12.5 liters of concrete, and water.
[0005] Formwork blocks are hollow concrete blocks distinguished by their numerous applications. These blocks are ideal for the quick and easy construction of foundations, walls, and retaining walls. After installation, the blocks can be plastered and then faced.
[0006] Walls can be reinforced (strengthened) by means of horizontally and vertically installed steel rods.
[0007] The stones can be air-dried without additional energy (5-10 days).
