Abstract
Description
Brief description:
[0001] The invention relates to two small, inconspicuous, and weatherproof compartments for the concealed placement of GPS trackers on e-scooters. One of the compartments is located in the footboard, the second in the handlebar tube directly below the handlebars. Both are suitable for commercially available GPS trackers (e.g., Apple AirTag, Samsung SmartTag, Tile).
[0002] Purpose / Goal of the idea: - Improved theft protection for e-scooters - Discreet integration of trackers to make removal or detection more difficult for thieves. - Increased safety for users, e.g., for parents who provide e-scooters to their children. Technical features: - The compartments are waterproof and vibration-resistant - One is located in the frame / footboard, the other in the tube below the handlebars. - Lockable (e.g. with internal screw or magnetic closure) - Compatible with multiple tracker models
[0003] Advantages over existing solutions: - The tracker is invisible and not removable like external mounts. - No external mount required - Design remains unchanged
[0004] Scope: - Privately owned e-scooters - Sharing scooters (e.g. Tier, Lime, VOI) - Electric scooters or bicycles with a similar design
[0005] Register as: Utility models registered with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) A notice:
