Abstract

Secondary battery cell comprising: a housing provided with an opening; an end cap for covering the opening; an electrode terminal provided on the end cap; an electrode assembly received in the housing; wherein the electrode assembly comprises a body comprising a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and a separating film, and wherein the electrode assembly is a stacked structure; wherein the separating film comprises a porous substrate, a first coating and a second coating, the first coating and the second coating being located on two opposite surfaces of the porous substrate, and wherein the first coating and the second coating each comprise a granular filler; wherein the thickness of the first coating is designated as T1 and the thickness of the second coating as T2, wherein: T1 + T2 ≥ 5 µm;and wherein the length of the secondary battery cell is 500 mm to 1200 mm.;
