Description

Bag

[0001] The invention relates to a bag, in particular a handbag or a fanny pack. State of the art

[0002] The following are disadvantages of well-known bags: 1) Larger bags often have the problem that smaller items cannot be safely stored in them and are thrown around inside when the bag is moved. 2) With bags that have classic shoulder straps, the strap is usually worn over the shoulder, or around the waist in the case of fanny packs. The user typically puts the bag on by pulling the strap over their head. This is quite cumbersome, as they have to put at least one arm through the opening formed by the strap and bag, in addition to their head. With fanny packs, they have to put both arms through the opening. This is even more inconvenient. 3) Standard bags offer insufficient protection against external impacts. Therefore, delicate items can easily be damaged if the user is bumped or accidentally drops their bag. 4) The production of bags usually requires the extraction of valuable resources from the environment. Problem and solution of the invention

[0003] Objective of the invention: To avoid the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art.

[0004] This problem is solved according to the invention in a bag of the type mentioned at the outset by the fact that the bag includes a basketball fragment. Advantages of the invention

[0005] Among other things, the following advantages are achieved: 1) The inner pocket of the back panel allows small items to be stored securely, and the user has space for additional items in the main pocket. 2) The release buckle makes it easy to open and close the strap without having to put the bag on over your head. 3) The robust basketball layer protects the items inside. 4) Since an old basketball can be reused to make the bag, significantly fewer resources need to be extracted from the environment than for many other bags.

[0006] These benefits are achieved as follows: The bag incorporates a basketball fragment. This fragment can, for example, be essentially hemisphere-shaped. Such a fragment can be created, for instance, by cutting a whole basketball into two essentially equal halves. One half of the basketball can then become the basketball fragment for the bag. The basketball fragment is subsequently processed so that the finished bag can, among other things, have a zipper. - The optional zipper can be opened and closed. - The bag may include a strap with a release buckle. The release buckle can be opened easily. - The bag may have inner pockets. These inner pockets offer plenty of space for small items. - By using worn-out basketballs and used leather scraps, as well as zippers from used bags, this is an upcycled product. This also contributes to environmental protection.

[0007] It is particularly important that this upcycled product reuses resources and thus creates a useful item that provides an important benefit in everyday use, namely the safe transport of the wearer's personal belongings.

[0008] The inventors overcame the following technical difficulties in a non-obvious manner during the development of the system according to the invention.

[0009] Cutting the inner lining and fitting it into the basketball fragment proved difficult due to the basketball fragment's curvature. By cutting the individual layers of the lining into four pieces and in a herringbone pattern, a clean lining could be achieved.

[0010] Due to the thickness of the basketball fragment and the leather, ordinary thread could not be used. To solve this problem, specially waxed thread is used and sewn by hand.

[0011] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are set out in the dependent claims.

[0012] It is therefore suggested that - that the bag includes a zipper (4), - that the basketball fragment is essentially hemispherical, - that the bag includes a hem (3), - that the hem (3) is a leather hem, - that the hem (3) is arranged at the edge of the basketball fragment, - that the zipper (4) is located at the hem (3), - that the bag includes a back panel, - that the zipper (4) is positioned between the back panel and the basketball fragment, - that the bag includes a suspension point for a D-ring (2), - that the basketball fragment contains leather, - that the leather is natural leather, - that the leather is synthetic leather, - that the back panel is made of leather, - that the basketball fragment is partially covered by a skeleton, - that the frame has black rubber, - that the bag includes a strap (8), - that the belt includes a length adjustment (6), - that the belt includes a release buckle (7), - that the belt includes a carabiner hook (9), - that the bag includes an inner lining, - that the interior trim includes an interior lining, - that the lining has a herringbone pattern, - that the interior lining consists of several layers, - that the interior trim consists of four parts, - that the interior lining includes an inner pocket, - that the inner pocket is located on the inside of the back panel, - that the bag contains waxed yarn. Example(s) of implementation

[0013] An embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the drawings. In all drawings, identical reference numerals have the same meaning and are therefore explained only once, if necessary.

[0014] They show Fig. 1 the basketball bag according to the invention, open and lying down, Fig. 2. The basketball bag is attached to the strap, hanging. Fig. 3. A rear view, focusing on the adjustable strap and back panel. Fig. 4. The basketball bag lying down, open in side view. Fig. 5. The basketball bag is opened in side view and Fig. 6. Basketball bag opened, view from above, focus on inner pocket. Construction of the bag according to the invention

[0015] In Fig. Image 1 shows an example of an open basketball bag. Attachments for D-rings are mounted on the outside of the basketball half. The strap is attached to these D-rings with carabiners. The edges of the basketball are reinforced with leather trim. The zipper is attached to the hem and connects the back panel to the basketball. The leather back panel includes an interior zippered pocket. The adjustable strap can be easily opened with a release buckle.

[0016] Fig. 2: The sturdy strap and carabiner hooks make it easy to hang the bag.

[0017] Fig. 3: The release buckle allows the strap to be opened and closed at any time for quick and easy fastening and removal of the bag. The adjustable length allows the strap to be set to the desired length.

[0018] Fig. 4: The zipper makes it easy to open and close the bag.

[0019] Fig. 5: Here you can see the bag from a side view.

[0020] Fig. 6: Here you can see the bag from above. The focus is on the inner pocket with a zipper. How the bag according to the invention worked

[0021] The following explains in detail how the bag according to the invention works: Step 1: With the basketball bag closed, you can open the zipper to put items inside. Step 2: Small items such as change or keys can be stored in a built-in inner pocket, e.g. in the back panel. Step 3: After closing the zipper, the items are safely stored. Step 4: The adjustable strap can be adjusted to the desired length. Step 5: The release buckle allows you to open and close the strap to easily put on the bag.

[0022] When the user carries the bag over their shoulder, the basketball fragment usually faces outwards, thus protecting the contents of the bag.

[0023] The basketball fragment, like the basketball itself, is usually made of leather, especially natural leather, synthetic leather or artificial leather.

[0024] Since the surface of a basketball is usually covered by a skeleton of black rubber, the basketball fragment may also be covered by such a skeleton.

[0025] In addition to the above written description of the invention, reference is hereby explicitly made to the graphic representation of the invention in the figures for its supplementary disclosure.
