Abstract

Edge processing device (3) for processing edge bands (2) with a control (10) and a pressure device (7) for pressing an edge band (2) against the narrow side of a workpiece, wherein the edge processing device (3) has an edge band guide (8, 9) and further a sawing device (4) which is arranged in front of the pressure device (7) and can be controlled by a control (10) in such a way that it can selectively cut the edge band (2) to a predetermined depth or completely cut through it.
