Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a transport device for at least one sanitary facility for a construction site, which is designed in the manner of a lifting truck and which has an electric drive.
[0002] Transport devices of the aforementioned type are generally well known. Pallet trucks are used for transporting pallets and objects of various shapes and sizes. They can be manually driven and operated, but various pallet truck-type transport devices with electric drives have also been proposed.
[0003] Such transport devices are usually used in halls or depots, or in trucks with level floors. However, when transporting sanitary equipment for a construction site, such as a plastic construction site toilet, this transport should ideally be carried out to the installation site of the sanitary equipment. In this case, difficult terrain on a construction site often has to be overcome.
[0004] The invention is based on the object of demonstrating a transport device of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is suitable for the transport of sanitary facilities for construction sites.
[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention in that the generic transport device is equipped with profiled drive wheels and has attachment means for fastening elements for the sanitary facility.
[0006] The transport device is equipped with profiled drive wheels. The profile can be coarse-treaded, allowing travel over rough terrain, especially on construction sites.
[0007] Furthermore, attachment means for fastening elements for the sanitary facility are provided, with which it is advantageously achieved that the transported sanitary facility is arranged in a fixed position on the transport device, namely even when it is transported with the profiled drive wheels over, for example, undulating terrain.
[0008] The transport device according to the invention makes it possible to position a sanitary facility directly on site in locations that are difficult to access and also vary.
[0009] According to a first development of the invention, the drive wheels each have a diameter greater than 20 cm. Such a wheel size also results in increased ground clearance, making it easier to negotiate undulating terrain. The transport device can have two additional smaller wheels so that it can stand and be moved safely on level ground using four wheels. The large drive wheels also enable the transport device to be operated in the form of a sack barrow, so that it is transported only on the axle with the drive wheels and is held in balance by an operator to safely transport the sanitary facility. The transport device has handles for this purpose.
[0010] According to a further development, the intended slings are preferably openings in sections of the transport device. These can be holes or elongated holes into which slings can be inserted. If, for example, tension straps are used as slings, these can be attached to the openings in sections of the transport device.
[0011] A further development of the invention provides that the transport device has a chassis and a height-adjustable fork, with a separate electric drive associated with the fork. The fork can, under certain circumstances, be operated by the electric drive. However, this development proposes using a separate electric drive for the fork. This can be designed with sufficient lifting power so that the fork can be moved to the required height, for example, one meter.
[0012] To further develop the invention, the fork can be made of stainless steel. This makes it resistant to weathering and mechanical influences. To further enhance these properties, the stainless steel of the fork can be pickled.
[0013] An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1: a first side view of a transport device according to the invention for at least one sanitary facility for a construction site, Fig. 2: a second side view of the device according to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3: a plan view of the device according to Fig. 1.
[0014] The transport device in Fig. 1 is designed like a pallet truck, resting on a base 1 via wheels 2, 3. The wheels 2, 3 are rotatably mounted on a chassis 4, which supports a support column 5. A height-adjustable fork 6 is mounted on this support column 5. Handles 11 are also arranged on the column 5.
[0015] The wheel 3 has a diameter of more than 20 cm and is profiled. The wheel 3 is mounted with an electric drive in a housing 7 ( Fig. 2) in operative connection. A control unit 8 is provided on the support column 5 for the drive; furthermore, the support column 5 carries a battery 9 for the electric drive in a compartment.
[0016] Fig. 2 shows both wheels 2, they are connected as drive wheels via corresponding shafts to the drive arranged in the housing 7.
[0017] Fig. 3 shows that the fork 6 has two fork tines 10.
