Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a dog safety line according to the preamble of claim 1.BACKGROUND ARTDog lines exist in a wide variety of forms, functions and types. The retrieval line, or even moxon line, is one of these special dog line types. It is a combination of a dog guide line and a dog neck strap. Other types of line connect the line and the neck strap to one another via a carabiner or other additional parts, which is not necessary in the case of a retrieval line. The retrieval line has a number of advantages to provide. For example, it is very simple to put the line on and off. However, these dog lines are not only easy to handle, they are also effective for dog training. Linen without tension control allows the dog holder to receive dog attention during training. The line is also usable in other dogs and applications where the dog is intended to act unimpeded by a neck strap, e.g., in agility. The simple removal of the retrieval line also leads to the dog not having to run continuously with the neck strap around its neck, which can improve the well-being of the dog and above all reduce the risk of injury to the dog. There are also many different variants of retrieval lines themselves. Most of these consist of an individually adjustable neck with tension restriction and stopper as well as a non-adjustable wrist strap. These retrieving lines usually consist at least for the most part of leather (usually bark leather) or ropes of, for example, nylon, polypropylene (PP), polypropylene multifilament (PPM), jute or various types of belt strap. However, there are dogs that respond anxietyally or even aggressively to humans, other animals, or environmental stimuli and bite into the line in situ to free themselves. The flexibly adjustable neck is also often used as a catch loop, for example when secured. Here, the risk of a dog biting into the line is increased again. In the above-described line variants according to the prior art, the line is often severed by only one or a few bite and the dog represents a danger for itself, its environment and for man.THE OBJECT OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, it is an object of the invention to provide a flexible dog line in which the ability to sever the line by biting the dog is minimal.SOLUTION ACCORDING TO THE INVENTIONFor this purpose, a safety line for dogs is proposed, which line comprises a cable which forms a loop at each of its two ends. This safety line is characterized in that the cable is a wire cable made of stainless steel or metallically coated steel and corresponds to cable classes 7x7 or 7x19. The wire rope has a plastic jacket, preferably made of PVC or PA.Cable cables consisting of stainless steel (preferably V4A or V2A) or metallically coated steels are thus used as cable material, which are assigned to cable classes 7x7 and 7x19. These are 7 strands with 7 or 19 individual wires in each case. The high number of individual wires achieves high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope forms the rope core and takes over the load-bearing function of the safety line and makes it difficult for the dog to bite through it with few specific bite points. The corresponding wire rope is provided with a protective plastic jacket, preferably made of PVC or PA, in order to provide the wire rope with additional protection against, for example, environmental influences. Moreover, the friction of the wire rope is also reduced because the plastic jacket slides more easily.Because the cable forms a loop at its two ends in the sense of a soapy solution, the safety line can be used very individually and a neck and / or a wrist loop can be formed by only the cable or the aid of only a few additional parts. Thus, in general, a flexibly usable safety line made of flexible material can be provided, which at the same time makes the cutting through of the line by biting a dog clearly more difficult. At the same time, the cable has a certain rigidity, so that, for example, a catch loop can be formed.FURTHER FEATURES OF THE INVENTIONA preferred development possibility of the safety line consists in that the said plastic sheathing is again sheathed by a fabric pull. This allows the plastic sheathing to be additionally protected. The fabric cover (or else: fabric jacket) can consist of a wide variety of materials, such as, for example, nylon, polypropylene (PP), hemp, cotton or sisal. Preferably, however, nylon having a very tight braid density is used. In addition, the nylon has good sliding properties, as a result of which, for example, a cable taken up by one of the loops slides well in the respective loop and the loop thus formed can easily be adapted. Furthermore, the rope is pleasant to hand due to the fabric covering and offers a pleasant feeling of wear and hold both for the human and for the animal.A further preferred development possibility of the safety line consists in that at least one loop of the cable is reinforced by means of a cable lug. These cable prongs are provided on the inner side of the loop and preferably consist of steel, particularly preferably stainless steel. The cable lug on the one hand reinforces the loop and thus makes it more stable, and on the other hand the cable lug contributes to an improved sliding capability of the loop, which is important, for example, in the formation of a neck for the dog. In addition, the fabric tension is prevented by the reduced friction and in many cases production of the loop is facilitated by the aid of the cable lug as a bending guide.Furthermore, it is particularly preferred if the loops of the cable are each designed such that the respective end of the cable is bent over such that the cable forms a loop there and the cable end touches a remainder of the cable at least at points, wherein the cable has at least one press clamp into which the respective cable end can be introduced, wherein the press clamp is designed such that it is deformable, as a result of which the cable end is pressed with the remainder of the cable in this region and thus forms a fixed loop. The corresponding press clamp is preferably made of aluminum, stainless steel or copper. A loop of the cable is thus preferably produced in such a way that a press clamp is first pushed onto the cable. The cable end is then bent over accordingly as described above, so that a desired loop is obtained. If a cable cable lug is desired, it is introduced before the bending and can facilitate the corresponding joining process. The cable end of the bent loop can then be introduced into the press clamp on one side, whereby the loop is initially held loose in its shape. By deforming the press clamp, the loop thus formed is fixed in its shape.Furthermore, it is particularly preferred if at least the press clamp is surrounded by a sheathing, preferably made of polyolefin or polyvinyl chloride. The press clamp is thus preferably coated with a double-walled polyolefin or polyvinyl chloride sheathing, which is preferably designed in the form of a so-called shrink tube. The sheathing protects the press clamp from external environmental influences and from oxidation, and at the same time the risk of injury due to sharp edges is considerably reduced. It is also preferred if this sheathing also partially sheathing the cable at least on one side beyond the press clamp. In addition, it is particularly preferred if the safety line forms, at least on one side, a hand strap which is formed by a strap of the cable which passes through a carabiner or otherwise formed fastening hooks at one end, wherein the carabiner or otherwise formed fastening hooks passes through, at its other end, a web ring which is attached to the cable such that it can be displaced axially over the length of the cable. A carabiner is thus preferably introduced into at least one of the loops. For this purpose, various types of carabiners such as, for example, scissors carabiner, safety carabiner, HMS carabiner, firefighting carabiner, twist-lock carabiner or a pin carabiner can be used. The carabiners can be made of different materials such as steel, brass, copper, zinc die casting or stainless steel (V4A or V2A). The latter is preferred for the safety line, since the carabiner must be usable not only for forming a wrist strap but also for securing the dog (e.g. on a clamp, fence, etc.).The size of the wrist strap is individually adjustable by a bridge ring introduced into the cable, preferably threaded onto the cable. The web ring can consist of various metallic materials such as stainless steel (V4A or V2A), brass, steel or coated steel. The wrist loop is also intended to serve to secure, for example, a dog which is convincing, nerve-contracting, incompatible and / or heavy due to anxiety or aggression. Once a dog exhibits previous behavior and a type of post, fence post or the like is located in the vicinity, the dog can be secured first of all by means of dropping the wrist strap over this post or fence post, so that running-off, attack or biting can be prevented. In addition, it should be possible in situ to fix / secure the dog briefly by the carabiner located on the wristlet or by adjusting the wristlet width, for example on a house wall, on a fence or on a binding site, which is necessary, for example, during capture actions, during local animal continuations or for securing the fundus animal, in order to subsequently load the dog, for example. In general, an easily adjustable wrist strap can thus be formed in a simple manner, which can be used on the one hand for guiding the dog and on the other hand for securing the dog.A further preferred embodiment consists in that the safety line forms a neck at least on one side, wherein the remaining cable is threaded into a loop of the cable, whereby an adjustable loop is formed, wherein the adjustability of this loop is limited on both sides, on the one hand by a stopper and on the other hand by a tension limiter. A "stopper" in the sense of the invention delimits the sling in such a way that it cannot be made larger, so that a dog cannot unintentionally free itself from the neck. A "tension limiter" limits the sling so that it cannot be made smaller, i.e. the dog is not throttled. In order to make it possible to "thread" the remaining cable into a loop of the cable, it is preferred if the above-explained possibility for creating the loop is also embodied in this loop, but here the loop is bent equally around the cable. The neck is thus a type of individually adjustable neck strap produced by the cable, which can be individually adjusted in width by adjusting the tension limit and the stopper. The width of the neck can be adjusted in size by displacing the tension limiter and the stopper. At the same time, the tension limiter prevents throttling / seasoning of the dog when pulling on the line. Likewise, the stopper prevents the neck from being released, so that the dog can free itself with the head from the neck.Due to the individually adaptable neck, which can be used simultaneously as a safety sling, the safety line for dogs is used in animal protection-relevant devices and for animal protection-relevant purposes, such as, for example, in the safety of anxiety dogs and "dangerous dogs", as well as for training purposes, such as, for example, line habituation, line guidance, but also in the private sector, it can prevent the withdrawal of dogs from the line being torn.Furthermore, it is particularly preferred if the stopper and / or the tension limiter is formed by a reversibly lockable tab. The flap can thus preferably be easily opened and closed and enables in a simple manner a limitation of the neck which is fixed on the one hand and easily individually adjustable on the other hand by simple opening, remounting and closing. In addition, it is particularly preferred if the flap consists of structural fabric and can be closed by means of at least one push-button mechanism. In this way, simple, cost-effective and long-lived delimiting parts can be provided, which can be easily opened and closed by the pushbutton mechanism.Further modes of operation, advantages and possible embodiments are evident from the figure-based description of the exemplary embodiment.FIGURE LISTFIG. 1 shows a first preferred exemplary embodiment of the safety line according to the invention in plan view.FIG. 2 shows the end of the cable of the safety line according to the invention from FIG. 1 in a detailed view, wherein the cable of the safety line is cut open and shows its individual components.FIG. 3 shows the hand strap of the safety line according to the invention from FIG. 1 in a detailed view.FIG. 4 shows the neck of the safety line according to the invention from FIG. 1 in a detailed view.FIG. 5 shows the neck of a second preferred exemplary embodiment of the safety line in the detailed view.FIG. 6 shows a third preferred exemplary embodiment of the safety line according to the invention.PREFERRED EMBODIMENTSFirst, FIGS. 1 to 4 show a first preferred exemplary embodiment of the safety line 1.The cable 2 here preferably consists of a wire cable 2 awhich carries a plastic sheathing 2 band an additional sheathing with a fabric cable 2 c(see FIG. 2 ). The end of the cable 2 is bent over to form a loop 3, wherein the end of the cable 2 is received by a press clamp 5 and pressed with the rest of the cable 2 (see FIG. 2 ). The loop 3 is also bent around a cable lug 4 and supported by it. The press clamp 5 can also be seen cut open in FIG. 2, wherein the latter is completely sheathed with a sheathing 12. Only in FIG. 2 is this sheathing 12 not shown completely and around the press clamp 12 for better clarity. The safety line 1 preferably forms a hand strap on one side, which is shown in FIG. 3. For this purpose, the loop 3 receives the end of a carabiner 7. In the example shown, this is a pin carabiner. The other end of the carabiner 7 receives a web ring 8 which is in turn threaded onto the rope 2.The safety line 1 preferably forms a neck 9 on one side-on the side opposite the wrist strap 6, which is shown in FIG. 4. For this purpose, the loop 3 receives the remaining rope 2, preferably in the last quarter, particularly preferably in the last eighth of the rope. The size of the neck 9 can be individually adjusted and is limited by the stopper 10 and the tension limiter 11.The tension limiter 11 and the stopper 10 can be made of different materials such as steel, brass, copper, zinc die casting, stainless steel (V4A or V2A), leather or structural fabric with plastic sheathing. Preferably, at least the stopper 10 is a flap of structural fabric with at least one push-button mechanism 13. For ease of operation and for better safety, the embodiment shown has two push-button mechanisms 13. In addition to the pushbutton mechanism 13, however, other fixing possibilities are also conceivable, such as metal rivets or book screws. In the present example, the tension limiter 10 is a web ring which is in turn threaded onto the cable 2.The cable lug 4 or the loop 3 can move between the tension limiter 11 and the stopper 10. The stopper 10 prevents the neck 9 from being loosened.FIG. 5 shows a second preferred embodiment of the neck 9. The only difference from the first exemplary embodiment is that the tension limiter 11 here likewise represents a strap made of structural fabric. The stopper 10 and the tension limiter 11 are thus the same components.FIG. 6 shows a third preferred embodiment of the safety line 1 according to the invention. this safety line 1 forms a neck 9 on one side and a hand strap 6 on the other side. Both the neck 9 and the hand strap 6 are formed by a strap 3 of the cable 2 which extends through a carabiner 7 at one end, the carabiner 7 engaging around the cable 2 at its other end. In the embodiment shown, two different embodiments of the carabiner 7 are involved. both carabiners 7 are mounted on the rope 2 so as to be axially displaceable over a portion of the length of the rope 2.As stopper 10 and tension limiter 11 of neck 9, again straps, for example made of Biothane® or leather, with push-button mechanism 13 or rivets made of nickel-plated steel can be used. The displaceability of the carabiner 7 of the hand strap 6 is also preferably restricted. For this purpose, for example, press clamps 5 are again used, which are preferably provided with a sheathing 12. However, plastic stoppers which are pushed onto the cable 2 or other embodiments are also possible.LIST OF REFERENCE CHARACTERS1 Safety line 2 cable 2 a Drahtseil cable 2 b Kunststoff sheath 2 c Gewebe tension 3 Loop 4 Cable cable cable lug 5 Press clamp 6 Hand loop 7 Carabiner 8 Web ring 9 Neck 10 Stopper 11 Tension limiter 12 Sheath 13 Pushbutton mechanism
