Abstract
A trailing stop device (10) for mechanically limiting the maximum rotation angle of a robot axis on a robot arm (2) to a rotation angle greater than 360 degrees, comprising: - a lever (11) with a pivot lever section (12) having a pivot bearing (13) which defines an axis of rotation (D) about which the pivot lever section (12) in its mounting arrangement on a base frame (5) of a robot arm (2) can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis, wherein the pivot lever section (12) has a seat surface (14) associated with the pivot bearing (13), with which the pivot lever section (12) in its mounting arrangement rests on a horizontal counter-seat surface (15) of the base frame (5) from above, and - an actuating projection (16) connected to the pivot lever section (12), which extends away from the pivot lever section (12) from a side opposite the seat surface (14) of the pivot lever section (12).namely at a distance (A) from the axis of rotation (D) of the rotary bearing (13) and with its longitudinal extent parallel to the axis of rotation (D) of the rotary bearing (13).
