Description

[0001] The invention relates to a hand tool according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] EP 4 480 650 A1 discloses a hand tool for processing meat in the food industry, which serves as a trimmer for removing fat from meat. It has a handle for manually gripping the hand tool. On a front processing side, a processing device, namely a knife device, is connected to the handle. The handle is tubular in shape, so that a drive train with a flexible drive shaft runs within the handle. A free end of the drive shaft is coupled to the knife device. On a front side of the handle facing away from the processing device, the drive train continues through a drive train line that leads to a motor and is driven by the same. An operating unit with an operating lever is provided for switching on the processing device. The operating lever is arranged in such a way that when manually operated, an output end of the drive train is moved axially into a coupling position in which the drive train forms a positive connection with a gear of the machining device and the device is in a working position. When the operating lever is released, the positive connection is released so that the machining device is in a non-working position. In addition, a safety unit is provided which has a safety lever. In its initial position, the safety lever is in a safety position in which displacement of the drive train is prevented when the operating lever is operated. Only when the safety lever itself is operated does the associated release position of the safety lever allow the drive train to be moved by the operating lever. The disadvantage of the well-known hand tool is that switching the processing device is relatively complex.

[0003] The object of the present invention is therefore to further develop a hand tool in such a way that operation is improved, it has a compact design and a long service life is enabled.

[0004] To achieve this object, the invention has the features of claim 1.

[0005] The particular advantage of the invention is that the hand tool can be easily switched on using a switching element comprising a non-electrical part and an electrical part. The electrical part of the switching element is integrated into a coupling piece that can be detached from a handle of the hand tool. Only the non-electrical part of the switching element is integrated into the handle. Advantageously, the heavily used handle can be removed from the coupling piece and then easily disinfected. This advantageously ensures a long service life of the hand tool.

[0006] According to a further development of the invention, the switching element is designed as an electromagnetic switching element. The non-electrical part of the switching element is designed as a permanent magnet, which can be easily encapsulated in the coupling piece and thus protected. Simply moving the non-electrical part of the switching element close to the electrical part of the switching element creates an operative connection, allowing the hand tool or processing device to be switched on. The force required for this is relatively low.

[0007] According to a further development of the invention, the switching element is designed as a reed switching element, so that already available switching elements can be used.

[0008] According to a further development of the invention, the operating lever is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a connecting bracket on which the non-electrical part of the switching element is fixedly arranged. The connecting bracket is rotatably arranged on the handle part. The axis of rotation is located on a side of the connecting bracket facing the operating lever, so that the lever arm of the connecting bracket corresponds to a diameter of the handle part. This provides a sufficiently large adjustment range of the non-electrical part of the switching element between a non-operatively connected position, in which the non-electrical part of the switching element is arranged at a distance from the electrical part of the switching element, and an operatively connected position, in which the non-electrical part of the switching element is arranged near the electrical part of the switching element.

[0009] According to a further development of the invention, the safety unit comprises a safety sliding part having a barb-shaped end. When the safety unit is not actuated, the safety sliding part is in the locking position, in which the movement of the connecting bracket into the operative connection position of the non-electrical part of the switching element to the electrical part of the switching element is prevented. When the safety unit is actuated, the barb-shaped end of the safety sliding part is moved into a release position, in which the movement of the connecting bracket is released, so that the processing device can be switched on when the operating lever is actuated. Advantageously, the force required by the operator can be kept low when actuating the safety unit, just as when actuating the operating lever.

[0010] According to a further development of the invention, the coupling piece is designed such that, when locked to the handle, a coupling of the flexible drive shaft contained in the drive train line to a drive shaft piece arranged within the handle is possible. This advantageously eliminates the need for axial movement of the flexible drive shaft when the operating lever is actuated.

[0011] According to a further development of the invention, a locking device is provided that enables a detachable connection between the coupling piece and the handle. The locking device preferably has a locking knob, by means of which both the mechanical coupling of the drive train and the coupling of the split shift element can be adjusted and released.

[0012] Further advantages of the invention emerge from the further subclaims.

[0013] An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings.

[0014] They show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a hand tool in a starting position, Fig. 2 a view of the tool from above in the starting position, Fig. 3 a representation of the tool from below in the starting position, Fig. 4 a side view of the tool in the starting position, Fig. 5 a longitudinal section through the hand tool in its initial position and Fig. 6 a longitudinal section through the hand tool in an operating position thereof.

[0015] A hand tool is used for processing objects. In this example, the hand tool is used for cutting meat, particularly for removing meat from bones in the food industry.

[0016] Alternatively, the hand tool can also be designed as a drill, circular saw, jigsaw, or the like. Common to the hand tool according to the invention is that it has a handle 1 for manual gripping by an operator, a processing device 2 on a first end face 3 of the handle 1, and a drive line 4 on a second end face 5 of the handle 1 opposite the first end face 3.

[0017] In the present embodiment, the processing device 2 is designed as a cutting device or knife device, by means of which fat can be removed from meat in the food industry.

[0018] The handle part 1 is tubular and allows the reception of a drive shaft piece 6 of a drive train 7. The drive shaft piece 6 has a drive shaft which is coupled via a gear 8 to a circular blade 9 of the cutting device 2.

[0019] The drive train line 4 comprises a drive shaft 10, which is coupled to the drive shaft piece 8 in the assembled position. The drive shaft 10 is guided in a coupling piece 11, which is releasably connected to the second end face 5 of the handle part 1 via a locking device 12.

[0020] The hand tool comprises an operating unit 13 with an operating lever 14, which, when not actuated, is spring-loaded in an initial position remote from the handle part 1 in accordance with the Fig. 1-5. The operating lever 14 is fixedly or non-rotatably connected to a connecting bracket 15. The connecting bracket 15 is mounted on the handle part 1 so that it can rotate or pivot about an axis A. The axis A is located near a non-free end of the operating lever 14.

[0021] The connecting bracket 15 is U-shaped, with the non-free end of the operating lever 14 arranged between the free ends of the two legs 16 of the connecting bracket 15. A vertex 17 of the connecting bracket 15 is arranged on an axial side of the handle part 1 opposite the operating lever 14. On this side, a non-electrical part 18 of a switching element 19 is arranged integrated into the connecting bracket 15. Thus, the non-electrical part 18 of the switching element 19 is firmly connected to the operating lever 14.

[0022] An electrical part 20 of the switching element 19 is arranged in the coupling piece 11. The electrical part 20 of the switching element 19 is connected to an electrical line 21, which is connected to an electrical power source (not shown). The electrical line 21 is routed parallel to the drive shaft 10. The drive shaft 10 is connected or coupled to a servomotor (not shown).

[0023] The switching element 19 is designed as an electromagnetic switching element. The switching element 19 is formed in two parts. The non-electrical part 18 is arranged in the connecting bracket 15. The electrical part 20 is fixedly arranged in the coupling piece 11.

[0024] Preferably, the switching element 19 is designed as a reed switch element. The non-electrical part 18 of the switching element 19 is designed as a permanent magnet.

[0025] When the operating lever 14 is not actuated, the non-electrical part 18 of the switching element 19 is in a non-operatively connected position to the electrical part 19 of the switching element 19. When the operating lever 14 is actuated, the connecting bracket 15 is pivoted about the axis A, so that the non-electrical part 18 of the switching element 19 is moved into an operatively connected position to the electrical part 21 of the switching element 19. The non-electrical part 19 of the switching element 19 is located near the electrical part 21 of the switching element 19, so that the magnetic field can act on the electrical part 21.

[0026] A length of the legs 18 of the connecting bracket 15 corresponds essentially to a diameter d of the handle part 1, so that the path between the non-active connection position and the active connection position of the non-electrical part 18 to the electrical part 21 is sufficiently large.

[0027] In the operative connection position of the non-electrical part 18 to the electrical part 21 according to Fig. 6, the cutting device 2 is switched on. In the non-operative connection position of the non-electrical part 18 to the electrical part 20 according to the Fig. 1 to 5, the cutting device 2 is switched off.

[0028] To prevent the processing device 2 from being accidentally switched on, a safety unit 22 is provided, which comprises a safety means 23 (safety button or safety lever). When the safety unit 22 or the safety means 23 is not actuated, it is in a safety position in which a safety sliding part 24 with a barb-shaped end 25 thereof prevents or blocks pivoting of the connecting bracket 15. Only when the safety means 23 is actuated can the safety sliding part 24 be moved by linear movement, preferably in the axial direction of the handle part 1, into a release position in which the connecting bracket 15 can be pivoted and thus the non-electrical part 18 of the switching element 19 can be moved into the operative connection position. In the release position of the safety unit 22, the operating lever 14 can be actuated so that the processing unit 2 can be switched on. QUOTES CONTAINED IN THE DESCRIPTION
