Abstract
Description
[0001] This application claims priority over Chinese patent application No. 202311237267.8 entitled “ROLLER BRUSH, ROLLER BRUSH ASSEMBLY AND CLEANING APPARATUS” and filed on September 22, 2023, and Chinese patent application No. 202311245939.X entitled “ROLLER BRUSH AND CLEANING APPARATUS” and filed on September 22, 2023, which are incorporated herein in their entirety by reference. AREA
[0002] The present application relates to the technical field of cleaning devices and in particular to a roller brush and a cleaning device. BACKGROUND
[0003] A cleaning device is a type of household appliance that is usually used to clean dust, dirt, and other deposits from surfaces such as floors, carpets, furniture, etc.
[0004] The cleaning device generally consists of a body and a roller brush located inside the body and rotatably connected to it. During use, the roller brush rolls across the surface of the object being cleaned. As it rolls, the roller brush picks up dust and other debris from the object's surface, which is then sucked into the body.
[0005] While using the current cleaning device, it is difficult to clean the surface of objects such as carpets that have tufts of lint, as various deposits can easily hide between the lint, especially fibers such as hair that get caught deep within the lint. SUMMARY
[0006] One embodiment of the application provides a roller brush and a cleaning device that are useful for improving the cleaning effect of the fibers on the surfaces of objects such as carpets. The solutions are summarized below.
[0007] In a first aspect, the embodiment of the application provides a roller brush that is used on a cleaning device. The roller brush comprises a roller body and a plurality of cleaning assemblies. The plurality of cleaning assemblies are provided on an outer surface of the roller body along an axial direction of the roller body and are spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the roller body.
[0008] The cleaning assembly comprises a brush strip and two support strips, all extending helically from a first end of the roller body to a second end of the roller body, with the brush strip located between the two support strips. The distance between the two support strips of the same cleaning assembly in the circumferential direction of the roller body is less than the distance between two adjacent cleaning assemblies in the circumferential direction of the roller body.
[0009] In some examples, a distance R1 from an outer edge of the brush strip to an axis of the roller body, a distance R2 from an outer edge of one of the two support strips to the axis of the roller body, and a distance R3 from an outer edge of the other of the two support strips to the axis of the roller body satisfy the following relationship:
[0010] R1 is larger than R2 and R1 is larger than R3.
[0011] In some examples, the difference between R1 and R2 is less than or equal to 3 mm, and the difference between R1 and R3 is less than or equal to 3 mm.
[0012] In some examples, the roller brush comprises two cleaning assemblies, and two support ribs are provided on one surface of the roller body and extend helically along the axis of the roller body. The two support ribs and the two cleaning assemblies are arranged alternately around the circumference of the roller body.
[0013] In some examples, the two cleaning assemblies are arranged symmetrically around the center of the roller body, and the two support ribs are also arranged symmetrically around the center of the roller body. Each of the two support ribs is spaced equally from the two cleaning assemblies in the circumferential direction of the roller body.
[0014] In some examples, each of the support strips includes a first mounting section and a support section. The first mounting section is in strip form. The support section is connected to one side of the first mounting section. A second groove corner is provided at the transition between the support section and the first mounting section and has a larger radius than the second radius threshold. The first mounting section is connected to the roller body. A first T-shaped notch is provided on a surface of the roller body and has a first groove corner at its opening and a larger radius than the first radius threshold. The first mounting section is located in the first T-shaped notch.
[0015] In some examples, the roller brush further includes a first end cover that is detachably connected to the first end of the roller body.
[0016] In the same cleaning assembly, at least one support strip has an end inserted between the first end cover and the roller body, and the first end cover is configured to allow the portion of the support strip located between the first end cover and the roller body to bend towards the roller body.
[0017] In some examples, the first end cover includes a mounting disc and a first limiting plate connected to one side of the mounting disc. The mounting disc is arranged to point towards an end face of the roller body. There is a clearance between the first limiting plate and an outer side wall of the roller body, and at least one support strip is located in this clearance and rests against an inner side wall of the first limiting plate.
[0018] In some examples, the first boundary plate is provided with a first recess, and at least part of the brush strip is located in the first recess.
[0019] In some examples, at least part of one of the support strips is located in the first recess of the same cleaning assembly.
[0020] Alternatively, in the same cleaning assembly, the two support strips are at least partially inserted between the first end cover and the roller body.
[0021] In some examples, the first end cover further includes a plurality of second limiting plates connected to the same side of the mounting disc as the first limiting plate. The plurality of second limiting plates are arranged along one edge of the mounting disc and are spaced apart from one another. The second limiting plates are in a transition fit with the outer side wall of the roller body, and the first limiting plate is located between two adjacent second limiting plates.
[0022] In some examples, the minimum clearance between the second boundary plates and the outer side wall of the roller body is less than or equal to 0.2 mm.
[0023] In a second aspect, the embodiment of the application further provides a cleaning device comprising a body and the roller brush as described in the first aspect above. The body is provided with a roller brush mounting notch, and the roller brush is located in the roller brush mounting notch and rotatably connected to the body.
[0024] The solutions according to the embodiments of the present application have at least the following advantages.
[0025] The majority of the cleaning assemblies are arranged on the outer surface of the roller body, and each assembly includes the brush strip and two support strips. The brush strip and the two support strips each extend helically along the surface of the roller body, with the brush strip positioned between the two support strips. When cleaning an object, such as a carpet, one of the support strips may come into contact with the object in front of the brush strip, pushing away the tufts of lint on the surface. After the brush strip has completed its cleaning action, the other support strip comes back into contact with the surface of the object and wipes away the debris picked up by the brush strip.During the cleaning process, the support strips on both sides of the brush strip support the picked-up fibers, increasing the circumference of the roller brush onto which the fibers are wound and reducing the likelihood of the fibers becoming wrapped more than once. Therefore, the fibers cannot easily wrap themselves around the roller brush and impair its operation, thus improving the cleaning effect on the surface of objects such as carpets. [0033] Fig. Figure 1 is a schematic structural view of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As an example, the cleaning device can be a vacuum cleaner. Fig. Figure 2 is a bottom view of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. 1 and Fig. As shown in Figure 2, this cleaning device comprises a body 100 and a roller brush 200. The body 100 has a roller brush mounting notch 100a. The roller brush 200 is positioned in the roller brush mounting notch 100a and rotatably connected to the body 100.
[0034] Fig. 3 is along line II in Fig. 2. Sectional view taken. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the roller brush mounting notch 100a has a suction opening 100b on one side wall thereof.
[0035] The cleaning device may further include a dust collector. The dust collector can be a dust container, a dust bag, or any other receptacle capable of holding debris. The dust collector is connected to the body 100, and the suction opening 100b communicates with the roller brush mounting notch 100a and the dust collector.
[0036] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the cleaning device further includes a comb strip 300, which is located between the roller brush 200 and the suction opening 100b and is connected to the body 100.
[0037] The comb strip 300 is configured to interact with the roller brush 200 during rotation of the roller brush 200, so that the deposits (e.g. fibers such as hair) adhering to the roller brush 200 are separated from the roller brush 200.
[0038] Fig. 4 is a schematic partial structural view of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 4, a power mechanism 400 and a gear mechanism 500 are also provided in the body 100. The gear mechanism 500 is drive-connected to the power mechanism 400 and the roller brush 200 to drive the roller brush 200 to rotate. The gear mechanism 500 can be drive-connected to one end of the roller brush 200.
[0039] For example, the power mechanism 400 can include a motor and the transmission mechanism 500 can be a belt drive mechanism.
[0040] When the cleaning device is used, the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a faces the surface of the object to be cleaned. The deposits on the surface of the object are drawn into the roller brush mounting notch 100a by an airflow and pass through the suction opening 100b into the dust collector. In this process, some of the deposits are drawn directly into the roller brush mounting notch 100a by the airflow and then drawn in through the suction opening 100b; other deposits are separated from the surface of the object by the action of the roller brush 200, then drawn into the roller brush mounting notch 100a by the airflow and then drawn in through the suction opening 100b.
[0041] Fig. Figure 5 is a schematic structural view of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. The roller brush 200 is applied to a cleaning device. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the roller brush 200 comprises a roller body 10 and a plurality of cleaning assemblies 20. The cleaning assemblies 20 are each arranged on the outer surface of the roller body 10 along the axial direction of the roller body 10 and spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10.
[0042] As an example, the roller brush includes 200 cleaning assemblies 20 arranged in central symmetry. Cleaning efficiency can be improved by providing multiple cleaning assemblies 20.
[0043] The cleaning assembly 20 comprises a brush strip 21 and two support strips 22, each extending helically from the first end of the roller body 10 to the second end of the roller body 10, with the brush strip 21 positioned between the two support strips 22. The distance between the two support strips 22 of the same cleaning assembly 20 in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 is less than the distance between the two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10.
[0044] For example, the first end of the roller body 10 can be the end that is connected to the drive mechanism 500. The second end of the roller body 10 can be the end opposite the first end. A direction from the second end to the first end along the axis parallel to the roller body 10 is defined as a positive direction. The brush strip 21 and the support strips 22 can form a clockwise rotating structure. That is, when viewed from the second end to the first end, the brush strip 21 and the support strips 22 each rotate clockwise.
[0045] Fig. Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of a cross-section of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. Figure 6 shows a cross-section of the roller brush 200, i.e., a region perpendicular to the axis of the roller body 10. The outer edge of the support strips 22 and the outer edge of the brush strips 21 are all present in the cross-section of the roller brush 200. For simplicity, the point of the outer edge of each support strip 22 present in a cross-section of the roller brush 200 is defined as the first intersection point A; the point of the outer edge of each brush strip 21 present in the cross-section of the roller brush 200 is defined as the second intersection point B; and the point of the axis of rotation of the roller body 10 present in the cross-section is defined as the third intersection point C.
[0046] In the embodiment of the present application, the distance between two support strips 22 in the same cleaning assembly 20 in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 can refer to the distance between the outer edges of the two support strips 22 in the same cleaning assembly 20 in the same cross-section of the roller brush 200. In the same cleaning assembly 20 and in a cross-section, this distance can refer to the straight-line distance between two first intersection points A or can be the length of an arc between a jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through a first intersection point A, and the other jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the other first intersection point A. The midpoint of this arc can be the third intersection point C, and at least one of the two first intersection points A can be the endpoint of the arc.
[0047] In the embodiment of the present application, the distance between two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in the circumferential direction of roller body 10 can refer to the distance between the outer edges of two brush strips 21 in the two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in the same cross-section of the roller brush 200. This distance can be the length of an arc between a jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through a second intersection point B, and the other jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the other second intersection point B, in two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in one cross-section. The midpoint of this arc can be the third intersection point C, and at least one of the two second intersection points B can be the endpoint of this arc.
[0048] In the embodiment of the present application, in the same cleaning assembly 20, the distance between the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the outer edge of the brush strip 21 can refer to the straight-line distance between the first intersection point A and the second intersection point B, or it can be the length of an arc between a jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the first intersection point A, and the other jet extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the second intersection point B, on the same cross-section of the roller brush 200. The midpoint of the arc can be the third intersection point C, and one of the endpoints of the arc can be the first intersection point A or the second intersection point B.
[0049] Fig. Figure 7 is a schematic sectional view of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, this roller brush 200 includes two cleaning assemblies 20 and two support ribs 11, which are provided on the surface of the roller body 10. Each support rib 11 extends helically along the axial direction of the roller body 10. The two support ribs 11 and the two cleaning assemblies 20 are alternately distributed in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10.
[0050] The larger the outer diameter of the roller body 10, the longer the minimum length of hair that can wrap around the outside of the roller body 10; that is, hair of the same length has more difficulty wrapping around the outside of the roller body 10 with a larger outer diameter. The support rib 11 serves to increase the outer diameter of the roller body 10, thereby increasing the difficulty of hair wrapping around the outside of the roller body 10.
[0051] As an example, the two cleaning assemblies 20 are arranged symmetrically around the center of the roller body 10, and the two support ribs 11 are also arranged symmetrically around the center of the roller body 10. In the circumferential direction of the roller body 10, each of the two support ribs 11 is spaced equally from the two cleaning assemblies 20.
[0052] Again, in relation to Fig. In the embodiment of the present application, the distance from the support rib 11 to the cleaning assembly 20 in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 can refer to the distance from the outer edge of the support rib 11 to the outer edge of the brush strip 21 in the same cross-section of the roller brush 200. The point of the outer edge of the support rib 11, which is present in the cross-section of the roller brush 200, is defined as the fourth intersection point D. This distance can be the straight-line distance between the fourth intersection point D and the second intersection point B, or it can be the length of an arc between a beam extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the fourth intersection point D, and the other beam extending from the third intersection point C and passing through the second intersection point B, in a cross-section.The center of this arc can be the third intersection point C, and at least one of the second and fourth intersection points B, D can be the endpoint of this arc.
[0053] This means that the cleaning assemblies 20 and the support ribs 11 are arranged at the same angular intervals in the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 and can each play the role of increasing the outer diameter of the roller body 10. The more uniform arrangement can further reduce the probability of hair wrapping around the outside of the roller body 10.
[0054] The distance R1 from the outer edge of the brush strip 21 to the axis of roller body 10, the distance R2 from the outer edge of one of the two support strips 22 to the axis of roller body 10, and the distance R3 from the outer edge of the other of the two support strips 22 to the axis of roller body 10 satisfy the following relationship:
[0055] R1 is larger than R2 and R1 is larger than R3.
[0056] For example, R2 can be equal to R3.
[0057] The outer edge mentioned here refers to the edge furthest from the axis of the roller body 10. For example, the outer edge of the brush strip 21 refers to the edge of the brush strip 21 furthest from the axis of the roller body 10.
[0058] R1 is larger than R2 and R1 is larger than R3. This means that the outer edge of the brush strip 21 extends beyond the outer edge of the support strip 22 in the radial direction of the roller body 10. Therefore, when the object to be cleaned, such as the ceiling, is cleaned, the support strips 22 push away the tufts of lint from the object being cleaned, and the brush strip 21 can more effectively wipe away the deposits hidden deep within the tufts of lint and pick up fibers from deep within the tufts of lint.
[0059] In the embodiment of the present application, the cleaning assembly 20 is arranged on the side of the roller body 10 and includes the brush strip 21 and two support strips 22. The brush strip 21 and the two support strips 22 each extend helically along the surface of the roller body 10, and the brush strip 21 is located between the two support strips 22. During cleaning, the helically extending brush strip 21 and the support strips 22 can drive the hair to move towards the end of the brush strip, preventing the hair from simply winding up in the center of the roller brush 200. When the object to be cleaned, such as a carpet, is being cleaned, one of the support strips 22 can come into contact with the object in front of the brush strip 21 and push away the tufted lint on the surface of the object being cleaned.Because the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the axis of the roller body 10 is greater than the distance between the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the axis of the roller body 10, the brush strip 21 can penetrate deep between the tufts of lint on the surface of the object to be cleaned, wipe away the deposits located deep within the tufts, and separate the fibers entangled with the tufts after the support strip 22 has pushed the tufts away. After the brush strip 21 has completed its cleaning, the other support strip 22 comes back into contact with the surface of the object to be cleaned and wipes away the deposits picked up by the brush strip 21.In the cleaning process, the support strips 22 on both sides of the brush strip 21 can support the wiped-out fibers, which increases the circumference of the roller brush 200 on which the fibers wind up and reduces the likelihood of fibers winding up more than one turn on the roller brush 200. Therefore, the fibers do not wind up on the roller brush 200 as easily and do not impair its operation, which is beneficial for improving the cleaning effect of the fibers on the surface of objects, such as a carpet.
[0060] In some examples, the difference between R1 and R2 is no more than 3 mm and the difference between R1 and R3 is no more than 3 mm.
[0061] If the length of the outer edge of the brush strip 21, which extends beyond the outer edge length of the support strip 22, is too long when the brush roller 200 is rolling, it is a disadvantage for the brush strip 21 to penetrate deep into the tufted lint to clean deposits.
[0062] For example, the difference between R1 and R2 is 1 mm.
[0063] In the embodiment mentioned above, in which the difference between R1 and R2 is no more than 3 mm, the brush strip 21 can better clean the deposits deep in the tufted lint during the process of rolling the roller brush 200.
[0064] In some examples, the distance between the outer edge of at least one of the two support strips 22 and the outer edge of the brush strip 21 is no more than 15 mm, for example 2 mm.
[0065] During cleaning, fibers hidden in the tufts of lint, such as hair, easily become entangled on or stuck to the brush strip 21. This causes the brush strip 21 to draw the fibers from deep within the tufts and separate them from the lint. The support strip 22 can support the fibers that the brush strip 21 draws out, reducing the likelihood of the fibers becoming more than one wrap around the roller brush 200.
[0066] When the brush strip 21 comes into contact with the fibers, the fibers usually wrap around or become entangled with the outer edge of the brush strip 21. If the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 is too great, some of the fibers that are wrapped around or entangled with the brush strip 21 slide along the brush strip 21 towards the roller body 10 before the fibers are supported by the support strip 22 when the roller brush 200 rolls. This causes the fibers and the brush strip 21 to become more tightly entangled or stuck together, making it difficult to separate the fibers from the brush strip 21 and to draw them in through the suction opening 100b. As a result, the fibers remain on the roller brush 200.In the embodiment of the present application, the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 is relatively small, so that the fibers can be supported by the support strip 22 after the brush strip 21 has brought the fibers a short distance from the depth of the tufted lint, which prevents the part of the fibers that is entangled or stuck on the brush strip 21 from sliding along the brush strip 21 to the roller body 10 and easily separating the fibers from the brush strip 21.
[0067] For example, the distance between the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the outer edge of the brush strip 21 can be 2 mm.
[0068] In some examples, the outer edge of the support strip 22 can be in contact with the brush strip 21.
[0069] For example, the outer edge of the support strip 22, which is located in front of the brush strip 21, can be in contact with the brush strip 21.
[0070] During operation of the cleaning device, the roller brush 200 is usually rotated in a single direction and the support strip 22, which is located in front of the brush strip 21 as mentioned, refers to one of the two support strips 22 which is located in front of the brush strip 21 in the cross-section of the roller brush 200 in the direction of rotation of the roller brush 200, and the other support strip 22 is the one which is located behind the brush strip 21.
[0071] Fig. Figure 8 is a schematic structural view of a support strip provided in one embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the cross-section of the support strip 22 can be T-shaped. The support strip 22 includes a first assembly section 221 and a support section 222. The first assembly section 221 is strip-shaped, and the support section 222 is connected to one side of the first assembly section 221.
[0072] Fig. Figure 9 is a schematic partial structural view of a support strip provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the transition between the support section 222 and the first assembly section 221 has a second groove corner 223 and the first assembly section 221 is connected to the roller body 10.
[0073] The first assembly section 221 serves to connect the roller body 10, and the support section 222 serves to support fibers. During operation of the cleaning device, the support section 222 comes into contact with the object being cleaned and is laterally deformed. Therefore, stress is generated at the transition between the support section 222 and the first assembly section 221. By providing the second groove 223 at the transition between the support section 222 and the first assembly section 221, the stress at the transition can be reduced, thus extending the service life of the support strip 22.
[0074] In some optional embodiments, the radius of the second recess corner 223 is larger than a second radius threshold. For example, the second radius threshold can be 3 mm.
[0075] In this embodiment, by making the radius of the second groove corner 223 larger than the second radius threshold, the stress at the transition can be further reduced, which reduces the wear of the support strip 22 caused by contact between the roller body 10 and the support strip 22, and thereby improves the crack resistance capability of the support strip 22.
[0076] For example, the support strip 22 can be a rubber strip, a silicone strip, etc. The support strip 22 can have a hardness ranging from 20 to 60 HS. For example, the hardness of the support strip can be 30 HS.
[0077] Fig. Figure 10 is a schematic sectional view of a roller body provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the surface of the roller body 10 is provided with a first T-shaped notch 10a. The first T-shaped notch 10a is provided with a first recessed corner 10b at its opening, and the first assembly section 221 is located in the first T-shaped notch 10a.
[0078] The first T-shaped notch 10a engages with the first mounting section 221 to prevent the support strip 22 from detaching from the roller body 10. The support section 222 can come into contact with both sides of the first T-shaped notch 10a when it is laterally deformed. The first groove corner 10b is provided on each side of the opening of the first T-shaped notch 10a, so that the stress to which the support section 222 is subjected when it is in contact with both sides of the opening can be reduced, thus extending the service life of the support strip 22.
[0079] In some optional embodiments, the radius of the first groove corner 10b is larger than a first radius threshold. The first radius threshold can be equal to the second radius threshold, or it can be larger or smaller than the second radius threshold. For example, the first radius threshold can be 3 mm.
[0080] In this embodiment, by making the radius of the first notch corner 10b larger than the first radius threshold, the stress at the transition can be further reduced, which reduces the wear of the support strip 22 caused by the opening of the first T-shaped notch 10a and thereby improves the crack resistance capability of the support strip 22.
[0081] In this example, the part of the first T-shaped notch 10a that corresponds to the second groove corner 223 can have the third groove corner 10c, thereby further reducing the stress to which the support strip 22 is subjected and extending the service life of the support strip 22.
[0082] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the first assembly section 221 includes a first area 2211 and a second area 2212, which are connected. The first area 2211 is near the first end of the roller body 10 and has a thickness that is less than the thickness of the second area 2212.
[0083] The thickness of the first assembly section 221 refers to the distance between one side of the first assembly section 221 near the support section 222 and the other side of the first assembly section 221 far from the support section 222.
[0084] The thickness of the second section 2212 is greater, so the gap between the second section 2212 and the first T-shaped notch 10a is smaller. The smaller gap makes the support strip 22 and the roller body 10 relatively stable and prevents the support strip 22 from coming loose. The thickness of the first section 2211 is smaller, so the gap between the first section 2211 and the first T-shaped notch 10a is larger. Part of the first end of the support strip 22 near the roller body 10 can be floating, which reduces the radial pressure of the first section 2211 of the support strip 22 applied to the roller body 10.
[0085] The first end of the roller body 10 is configured to be in gear connection with the gear mechanism 500; that is, the first end of the roller body 10 is the end where power is applied. If a relatively large radial pressure is exerted on the first end of the roller body 10, the rotational stability of the roller body 10 may be impaired. In this example, the thickness of the first section 2211 of the support strip 22 is reduced, and the radial pressure exerted on the roller body 10 is lower, which helps to improve the rotational stability of the roller body 10.
[0086] The length of the second area 2212 can be greater than the length of the first area 2211, so that the majority of the first assembly section 221 can engage stably with the first T-shaped notch 10a, which improves the installation stability of the support strip 22.
[0087] The first assembly section 221 can further include a stop block 225, which is provided at the end of the second section 2212 far from the first section 2211, and the stop block 225 is positioned at least partially outside the first T-shaped notch 10a. The stop block 225 interacts with the roller body 10 to prevent the first assembly section 221 from sliding along the first T-shaped notch 10a.
[0088] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 9, at least one side of the support section 222 is covered with flexible fabric 224 and the edge of the flexible fabric 224 far from the first assembly section 221 extends beyond the edge of the support section 222 far from the first assembly section 221.
[0089] In this example, the flexible fabric 224 covers one side of the support section 222 and part of the surface of the first assembly section 221. For example, the support strip 22 located in front of the brush strip 21 is covered with flexible fabric 224 on its side far from the brush strip 21, and the support strip 22 located behind the brush strip 21 is covered with flexible fabric 224 on its side close to the brush strip 21.
[0090] The flexible fabric 224 covers at least one side of the support section 222, which can provide protection to the support strip 22 and reduce the wear of the support section 222.
[0091] As an example, the edge of the flexible fabric 224 extends far from the first assembly section 221 over the edge of the support section 222 far from the first assembly section 221 by a distance less than or equal to 1 mm.
[0092] The edge of the support section 222, located furthest from the first assembly section 221, serves to wipe away deposits and push away tufts of lint from the surface of the carpet or similar material, and is therefore subject to relatively easy wear. By extending the edge of the flexible fabric 224 slightly beyond the edge of the support section 222, it is possible to improve the protective effect on the edge of the support section 222 and reduce its wear.
[0093] For example, the thickness of flexible fabric 224 can range from 0.3 mm to 0.4 mm. Flexible fabric 224 can be nylon or polyester.
[0094] Fig. Figure 11 is a schematic sectional view of a brush strip provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 11, the cross-section of this brush strip 21 can also be T-shaped. The brush strip 21 can include a second mounting section 211 and bristles 212, and the bristles 212 can be distributed along one side of the second mounting section 211. The spacing, softness, and diameter of the bristles 212 can be selected according to the different cleaning effects. For example, the diameter of the bristle 212 can be 0.2 mm. The brush strip 21 can include the same type of bristles 212 or different types of bristles 212. The same type of bristles 212 refers to bristles 212 made from the same fibers, and different types of bristles 212 are made from different fibers. The same fibers can refer to fibers that have the same material and / or the same diameter. The different bristles 212 can refer to bristles that have different materials and / or different diameters.
[0095] The outer side wall of the roller body 10 can also be provided with a second T-shaped notch 10d, and the brush strip 21 is connected to the roller body 10 via the second T-shaped notch 10d. The second mounting section 211 can be located in the second T-shaped notch 10d, with the bristles 212 extending from the second T-shaped notch 10d.
[0096] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, the roller brush 200 further includes a first end cover 31 and a second end cover 32. The first end cover 31 is connected to the first end of the roller body 10 and the second end cover 32 is connected to the second end of the roller body 10.
[0097] The first end cover 31 and the second end cover 32 can be detachably connected to the roller body 10. For example, they can be connected by a snap fit.
[0098] In the same cleaning assembly 20, one end of at least one support strip 22 is inserted between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10, and the first end cover 31 is configured to form the part of the support strip 22 that is located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10, which is bent towards the roller body 10.
[0099] In this example, after the support section 222 of the support strip 22 has been bent under the action of the first end cover 31, the height of the support strip 22 projecting from the roller body 10 at the first end of the roller body 10 is reduced. This helps to prevent the comb teeth from impacting the support strip 22 and also prevents the object being cleaned from being pulled along the support strip 22 during operation. The radial force of the support strip 22 applied to the first end of the roller body 10 is reduced, which helps to improve the rotational stability of the roller body 10, provide protection for the end of the support strip 22, and reduce wear at the end of the support strip 22.
[0100] For example, the length of the part of the support strip 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is greater than or equal to 5 mm.
[0101] In the aforementioned embodiment, by ensuring that the length of the part of the support strip 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is not less than 5 mm, the stability of the insert connection between the support strip 22 and the first end cover 31 can be increased to ensure that the support strip 22 does not come out of the first end cover 31.
[0102] Fig. Figure 12 is a schematic structural view of a first end cover provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 12, the first end cover 31 includes a mounting disc 311 and a first limiting plate 312, which is connected to one side of the mounting disc 311. In conjunction with Fig. Figure 5 shows the mounting disc 311 facing the end face of the roller body 10, and there is a gap between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10. At least one support strip 22 is located in this gap and rests against the inner side wall of the first limiting plate 312.
[0103] In this example, the support strip 22, positioned in front of the brush strip 21, is located in the gap between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10.
[0104] By inserting the end of the support strip 22 into the gap between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10, the support strip 22 is bent towards the roller body 10 to have a reduced height projecting from the roller body 10. The aforementioned embodiments have at least the following advantages: 1. Reducing the height of the support strip 22 projecting from the roller body 10 in this position can prevent the impact of the comb teeth and the pulling of the object to be cleaned, thereby protecting the end of the support strip 22 and reducing wear at the end of the support strip 22; 2. Applying the surface of the support strip 22 to the inner side wall of the first boundary plate 312 can ensure that the support strip 22 is not worn away too quickly from the edge of the first boundary plate 312, thereby ensuring the service life of the roller brush 200.
[0105] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 12, the first boundary plate 312 further has a first recess 312a in which at least part of the brush strip 21 is located. The first recess 312a is configured to remain far from the end of the brush strip 21.
[0106] The first end cover 31 further includes a plurality of second limiting plates 313. The second limiting plate 313 and the first limiting plate 312 are connected on the same side of the mounting disc 311. The plurality of second limiting plates 313 are distributed along the edge of the mounting disc 311 and are spaced apart from one another. The second limiting plates 313 are in a transition fit with the outer side wall of the roller body 10, and the first limiting plate 312 is positioned between adjacent second limiting plates 313.
[0107] The second limiting plate 313 is configured to fit the roller body 10, allowing the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 to be stably installed together. The second limiting plate 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 are in a transition fit. That is, the second limiting plates 313 and the roller body 10 can be in an interference fit or a clearance fit. An interference fit can increase stability, join the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 more tightly, and reduce deposits, such as hair, that become trapped between the second limiting plates 313 and the roller body 10. A clearance fit can facilitate the disassembly and assembly of the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10, and simplify the replacement of the roller body 10, the support strip 22, or the brush strip 21.
[0108] For example, the minimum clearance between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 is less than or equal to 0.2 mm.
[0109] The fibrous deposits, such as hair, that become trapped in the gap between the second limit plate 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 are difficult to clean and can become lodged within the roller brush 200, resulting in adverse effects on the movement of some moving parts, such as bearings. Although the diameter of the hairs is small, the hairs that typically wrap around the roller brush 200 are usually wavy or curly, not tightly wound. These normally coiled hairs are usually difficult to pass through the gap, which is larger than the hair diameter. This gap is specified to be no more than 0.2 mm to effectively prevent the hairs from becoming trapped between the second limit plates 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10, thus avoiding excessive precision in assembly, which increases manufacturing costs and assembly difficulty.
[0110] The clearance between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 is set relatively small to prevent deposits, such as hair, from clogging.
[0111] The edge of the second boundary plate 313 has a second recess 313a in which the end of the support rib 11 is located.
[0112] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 12, a transition plate 314 is connected between the first boundary plate 312 and the second boundary plate 313 and is smoothly connected to both. Connecting the first boundary plate 312 and the second boundary plate 313 by means of the transition plate 314 can improve their respective structural strengths and reduce deformations.
[0113] In some examples, at least part of a support strip 22 is located in the first notch 312a in the same cleaning assembly 20.
[0114] In this example, the first boundary plate 312 has a first recess 312a and the brush strip 21 and the support strip 22, which are positioned behind the brush strip 21, are positioned in the first recess 312.
[0115] Reference is made to the in Fig. Example 5 is taken. In this example, at least a part of the brush strip 21 is positioned in the first recess 312a of the first boundary plate 312, and at least a part of the support strip 22, which is positioned in front of the brush strip 21, is positioned between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 and bent towards the brush strip 21.
[0116] The support strip 22, located in front of the brush strip 21, is bent towards the brush strip 21 by the first boundary plate 312 to reduce the height of the support strip 22 projecting from the outer surface of the roller body 10 near the first end cover 31. This reduces wear between the support strip 22 and the ground near the end of the roller body 10 and prevents the comb strip 300 from impacting the support strip 22, thereby extending the service life of the support strip 22. At least part of the other support strip 22 is positioned in the first recess 312a near the end of the roller body 10.After the brush strip 21 has completed cleaning, the support strip 22, which is located in the recess notch 312a, can be in contact with the surface of the object to be cleaned in order to wipe away the deposits picked up by the brush strip 21, which is suitable for situations where the cleaning effect is more important.
[0117] In some other possible embodiments, the two support strips 22 are located at least partially between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 in the same cleaning assembly 20. The part of a support strip 22 that is located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is bent towards the brush strip 21, and the part of the support strip that is located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is bent away from the brush strip 21.
[0118] Fig. Figure 13 is a schematic view showing the assembly of a first end cover provided in one embodiment of the present application. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 13, in this example the brush strip 21 is positioned in the first recess 312a of the first boundary plate 312, and the support strips 22, located in front of and behind the brush strip 21 respectively, are both positioned between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10. The portion of the support strip 22 located in front of the brush strip 21, which lies between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10, is bent towards the brush strip 21, and the portion of the support strip 22 located behind the brush strip 21, which lies between the first boundary plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10, is bent away from the brush strip 21.
[0119] The two support strips 22 are bent by the first limiting plate 312 at the first end of the roller body 10 to reduce the height of the two support strips 22 that project from the roller body 10 at that point. This further improves the rotational stability of the roller body 10 and reduces wear on the ends of the two support strips 22. Therefore, it is suitable for applications where extending the service life of the roller brush is a priority.
[0120] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 13, the outer side wall of the second limiting plate 313 is inclined. The outer side wall of the second limiting plate 313 is inclined towards the roller body 10 as it extends from the mounting disc 311.
[0121] During operation of the cleaning device, the first end of the roller body 10 is more likely to become wrapped with fibers such as hair than other parts of the roller body 10. In this example, the outer side wall of the second boundary plate 313 is inclined to have a slope that can cause the fibers, such as hair, wound onto the roller brush 200 and the first end cover 31 to collect at the lowest part of the slope, thus facilitating centralized processing using a comb strip 300.
[0122] Fig. Figure 14 is a schematic structural view of a second end cover provided in one embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 14, the second end cover 32 can be provided with a plurality of gap-covering ribs 321 on the side near the roller body 10. The plurality of gap-covering ribs 321 are distributed circumferentially and can be in transition fit with the outer side wall of the roller body 10.
[0123] Fig. Figure 15 is a schematic partial structural view of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 15, the gap-covering ribs 321 can fit together with the outer side wall of the roller body 10 and can be in a transition fit with the outer side wall of the roller body 10. For example, the gap-covering ribs 321 can come into contact with the outer side wall of the roller body 10. The gap-covering rib 321 is configured to cover the gap between the roller body 10 and the second end cover 32 to prevent hair from clogging it.
[0124] Fig. Figure 16 is a schematic partial structural view of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As in Fig. As shown in Figure 16, the comb strip 300 includes a plurality of first comb teeth 301 and a plurality of second comb teeth 302, which are distributed at intervals in the direction parallel to the axis of the roller body 10. The first comb tooth 301 is positioned at the first end of the roller body 10 and has a length greater than the length of the second comb tooth 302.
[0125] The comb strip 300 is configured to interact with the cleaning assembly 20 to clean deposits from the cleaning assembly 20, thus separating the deposits from the cleaning assembly 20. In this example, the inclined outer side wall of the second boundary plate 313 serves to collect fibers such as hair, and the first comb teeth 301 are positioned to remove the hair that accumulates there. As the roller brush 200 rotates, the first comb teeth 301 come into contact with the collected hair and pull it, causing it to break apart and separate from the roller brush 200. The hair is then drawn in through the suction opening 100b. This prevents hair from becoming excessively wound around the roller brush 200.If some hairs are difficult to completely separate from the first end cover 31, the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 can be removed to eliminate the hairs.
[0126] During rotation of the roller brush 200, the second comb teeth 302 and the support strips 22 strike against each other to separate the deposits adhering to the support strips 22. In this example, the engagement size between the comb strip 300 and the support strip 22 is in a range of 1 mm to 3.5 mm, where it may be, for example, 2.5 mm.
[0127] The engagement size between the comb strip 300 and the support strip 22 refers to the length of the portion of the comb strip 300 that comes into contact with the support strip 22 during rotation of the roller brush 200. That is, the tip of the comb strip 300 has a length of 1 mm to 3.5 mm that can come into contact with the support strip 22.
[0128] The support strip 22 can wobble after being struck by the comb strip 300, resulting in noise. In this example, only a small portion of the second comb teeth 302 strikes the support strip 22, thus impacting a small area of the support strip s22 while ensuring the effect of preventing hair from winding up. This reduces wobbling of the support strip 22 and facilitates noise reduction when the cleaning device is operated.
[0129] Furthermore, because the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 is small, no more than 15 mm, the support strip 22 can come into contact with the bristles 212 of the brush strip 21 when the support strip 22 vibrates. The bristles 212 can absorb some of the energy of the support strip 22 to slow down its vibration, and the support strip 22 can quickly return to its original state, which is helpful for noise reduction.
[0130] The gap between the comb strip 300 and the brush strip 21 can range from 1 mm to 6 mm, for example, 3.5 mm. The interaction between the comb strip 300 and the brush strip 21 can remove deposits adhering to the brush strip 21, thus improving cleaning efficiency.
[0131] When the cleaning device is in use, the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a points towards the object to be cleaned, for example, a carpet laid on the floor. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the comb strip 300 can be located between the roller brush 200 and the suction opening 100b, and the distance from the comb strip 300 to the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a is greater than the distance from the axis of the roller body 10 to the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a. That is, the comb strip 300 is positioned at a height above the axis of the roller body 10.
[0132] In some examples, the height of the portion of the support strip 22 projecting from the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a is less than or equal to 0.5 mm. This means that, in use, the engagement size between the support strip 22 and the ground is less than or equal to 0.5 mm, for example, 0.1 mm. This can prevent excessive deformation of the support strip 22 and thus prevent excessive radial force from the support strip 22 being applied to the roller body 10. The height of the portion of the brush strip 21 projecting from the opening of the roller brush mounting notch 100a is less than or equal to 3 mm, for example, 1 mm. This can prevent the bristles 212 of the brush strip 21 from bending excessively to the point of impairing its service life.
[0133] In some examples, the rotational speed of the roller brush 200 in the cleaning device can be less than or equal to 2000 rpm when operating. In related technologies, to achieve the cleaning effect, the rotational speed of the roller brush is usually greater than 2400 rpm when operating, resulting in high noise and a short service life for the roller brush. In this example, because the roller brush 200 has a relatively high cleaning efficiency, its rotational speed can be reduced to decrease the noise of the cleaning device during operation while ensuring the cleaning effect, and to increase the service life of the support strip 22 and thus the service life of the roller brush 200.
[0134] The embodiments described above are used only to illustrate the technical solutions of the present application and are not intended to limit them. Although the present application has been described in detail with respect to the preceding embodiments, a person skilled in the art will understand that he / she may still modify the technical solutions described in the preceding embodiments or make equivalent substitutions for some of the technical features therein. Such modifications or substitutions do not alter the core of the corresponding technical solutions from the nature and scope of the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application and are intended to be included within the scope of protection of the present application.
[0135] The application provides a roller brush and a cleaning device and relates to the technical field of cleaning devices. The roller brush comprises a roller body (10) and a plurality of cleaning assemblies (20) provided on an outer surface of the roller body (10) along an axial direction of the roller body (10) and spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction of the roller body (10). The cleaning assembly (20) comprises a brush strip (21) and two support strips (22), all of which extend helically from a first end of the roller body (10) to a second end of the roller body (10), with the brush strip (21) located between the two support strips (22).The distance between two support strips (22) of the same cleaning assembly (20) in the circumferential direction of the roller body (10) is smaller than the distance between two adjacent cleaning assemblies (20) in the circumferential direction of the roller body. The support strips (22) on both sides of the brush strip (21) can support the wiped-out fibers, increase the circumference of the roller brush on which the fibers are wound, and reduce the likelihood of the fibers becoming wound more than once on the roller brush. Therefore, the fibers are less likely to become wound on the roller brush and do not impair its operation, which is beneficial for improving the cleaning effect of the fibers on the surface of objects, such as a carpet.
