DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0032] The present disclosure will now be discussed with reference to several example embodiments.

[0033] Fig. 1 is an assembly diagram of a connector for a strip lamp with an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Fig. 1, a connector 100 for a strip lamp 200 includes: an insulating base 110; at least two pins 120 outstanding in a first direction from the insulating base 110; and at least one fixing unit 130 for fixing the insulating base 110 and the strip lamp 200 together, the material of the fixing unit 130 has a coefficient of thermal expansion less than a predetermined threshold.

[0034] In an embodiment, the insulating base 110 may be made of an insulating material, such as resin.

[0035] In an embodiment, the shape of the insulating base 110 may be formed according to actual requirements.

[0036] The insulating base 110 incudes a convex structure 111 on the upper surface and lower surface of the insulating base 110 respectively, to connect to the fixing unit 130.

[0037] In an embodiment, the pins 120 are outstanding in a first direction from the insulating base 110. The first direction is a direction corresponding to the length direction of the strip lamp 200.

[0038] As shown in Fig. 1, we take two pins 120 as an example to describe the embodiments of this disclosure.

[0039] In an embodiment, the pins 120 may be made of a conducting material, such as metal.

[0040] In an embodiment, the pins 120 may be formed as plane structures, elastic structures, or plane structures with convex points.

[0041] The connector 100 includes at least one fixing unit 130. For example, when the connector 100 is used to connect the strip lamp 200 with a power, only one fixing unit 130 is needed. When the connector 100 is used to connect the strip lamp 200 with another strip lamp, two fixing units 130 may be needed.

[0042] The material of the fixing unit 130 has a coefficient of thermal expansion less than a predetermined threshold. The predetermined threshold may be set according to actual requirements.

[0043] For example, the predetermined threshold may be set in the range of 10×10 -6< / °C - 30×10 -6< / °C, such as 17.3×10 -6< / °C.

[0044] For example, the material of the fixing unit is metal, such as stainless steel.

[0045] The fixing unit 130 is used to fix the insulating base 110 and the strip lamp 200 together. The fixing unit 130 includes two fixing parts 131, 132 for clamping the strip lamp 200.

[0046] At least one of the two fixing parts 131, 132 includes a convex structure. For example, as shown in Fig. 1, the fixing part 131 includes a convex 1311, and the fixing part 132 also includes a convex 1321 in the face of the fixing part 132 when assembling.

[0047] In an embodiment, the fixing parts 131, 132 may further include some clamping parts to connect each other.

[0048] The fixing parts 131, 132 include an opening 1312, 1322 to connect respectively to the convex structure 111 on the upper surface and lower surface of the insulating base 110.

[0049] In an embodiment, when the connector 100 is used to connect the strip lamp 200 with a power, the connector 100 may further include: a power cable 140 connected to the pins 120 electrically.

[0050] Fig. 2 is another assembly diagram of a connector for a strip lamp with an embodiment of the present disclosure. When the connector 100 is used to connect the strip lamp 200 with another strip lamp 200', as shown in Fig. 2, the connector 100 may further include at least two other pins 150 outstanding in a second direction from the insulating base 110, the second direction is opposite to the first direction, the pins 120 and the other pins 150 are connected electrically.

[0051] As shown in Fig. 2, in this case, two fixing units 130 are needed, to fix the insulating base 110 and the strip lamp 200, 200' together respectively.

[0052] In an embodiment, the strip lamp 200 and the strip lamp 200' may have same structures.

[0053] As can be seen from the above embodiments, at least two pins for connecting to solder pads of a strip lamp and at least one fixing unit with a coefficient of thermal expansion less than a predetermined threshold are used in the connector. Therefore, it is convenient for users to assemble different lengths of strip lamps according to actual requirements, and a good electrical reliability is achieved.

[0054] A strip lamp assembly is also provided.

[0055] Fig. 3 is a diagram of a strip lamp assembly without a fixing unit with an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig. 4 is another diagram of a strip lamp assembly without a fixing unit with an embodiment of the present disclosure, Fig. 5 is a diagram of a strip lamp assembly with an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0056] As shown in Fig. 3, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, a strip lamp assembly 10 includes: at least one strip lamp 200; and at least one connector 100; and a sealing part 400 for sealing a gap between the strip lamp 200 and the insulating base 110 of the connector 100, wherein the strip lamp includes: a FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board) 210; multiple luminous units 220 on a first surface of the FPCB 210; at least two solder pads 230 on a second surface of the FPCB 210; and a sleeve 240 on the outside of the FPCB 210, luminous units 220 and solder pads 230.
