The figure 2 shows two sets according to the invention, the assembly of which makes it possible to obtain a fence delimiting a quadrilateral-shaped outline. The figure 3 shows a tray obtained by assembling the sets represented on the figure 2 . There figure 4 diagrams the stages of manufacturing an enclosure. The Figure 5 shows a variation of the first embodiment. The figure 6represents another variant of the first embodiment. The figure 7 represents another variant of the first embodiment. The figure 8 represents a second embodiment. The figure 9 represents a third embodiment. The figure 10 shows an example of a double tray that can be made from assemblies according to the invention. PRESENTATION OF SPECIAL EMBODIMENTS
[0030] We have represented, on the figure 1 , an example assembly according to the invention. The assembly comprises a post 1, a first panel 10 and a second panel 20.
[0031] The panels can be made of a rigid material, for example metal, wood, plastic, concrete, or a synthetic stone, for example porcelain stoneware.
[0032] Column 2 extends between a base 3 and a top 4 along a longitudinal axis Z. In this example, the longitudinal axis Z is assumed to be vertical. The base and the top delimit the column along the longitudinal axis.
[0033] The post 2 has a peripheral surface 5, extending between the base 3 and the top 4. The peripheral surface 5 extends around a central axis Δ parallel to the longitudinal axis Z. The central axis has been represented in mixed dashes on the figure 1 . In this example, the peripheral surface 5 is formed by four flat faces. The peripheral surface 5 is, in this example, a cylindrical surface with a square section in which longitudinal grooves, forming hollows, have been formed. According to a variant, the peripheral surface 5 may be cylindrical with a round or ellipsoidal or polygonal section, for example rectangular or triangular.
[0034] The peripheral surface 5 comprises a first relief 5 1 . In this example, the first relief is the hollow formed by a longitudinal groove. Thus, the first relief 5 1 forms a groove which extends along the longitudinal axis, between the base and the top of the post.
[0035] The peripheral surface 5 comprises a second relief 5 2 . In this example, the second relief 5 2 is a hollow formed by a longitudinal groove. Thus, the second relief forms a groove which extends along the longitudinal axis, between the base and the top of the post.
[0036] Alternatively, the first relief may be tongue-shaped, forming a protrusion, for example along the longitudinal axis. The same applies to the second relief.
[0037] The first and second reliefs can take the form of lugs.
[0038] The first panel 10 comprises a first lateral edge, extending along the longitudinal axis. The first lateral edge forms a first end 11, configured to engage in or around the first relief. The first end 11 has a shape complementary to the first relief 5 1 . In this example, the end 11 is intended to engage in the groove formed by the first relief 5 1 . The engagement of the first end 11 in or around the first relief 5 1 can be carried out by sliding either along the longitudinal axis Z, or along a first transverse axis X described below.
[0039] The sliding of the first end into or around the first relief 5 1 can be carried out without friction, which allows for a relaxation of the dimensioning constraints during manufacturing, hence a lower manufacturing cost. This also facilitates assembly.
[0040] Alternatively, the sliding of the first end in or around the first relief 5 1 can be carried out with friction, which assumes that the dimensions of the first relief 5 1 and the first end 11 are adjusted. In this case, the friction contributes to maintaining the first end 11 in or around the first relief 5 1 . However, the maintenance of the first panel 10 against the post 2 can be ensured by at least a first fastener, as described below.
[0041] The first panel 10 comprises a first upper edge 12, which extends, from the first lateral edge 11, along a first transverse axis X. The first transverse axis X intersects the longitudinal axis, for example being perpendicular to the latter.
[0042] According to one possibility, the first relief forms a tongue. In this case, the first end 11 forms a contour, intended to be engaged around the tongue, by sliding with or without friction, along the X axis and / or the Z axis.
[0043] The second panel 20 comprises a second lateral edge, extending along the longitudinal axis Z. The lateral edge forms a second end 21, configured to engage in or around the second relief 5 2 . The second end 21 has a shape complementary to the second relief 5 2 . In this example, the end 21 is intended to engage in the groove formed by the second relief 5 2 . The engagement of the second end 21 in or around the second relief 5 2 is carried out by sliding with or without friction, as previously described in connection with the first end 11.
[0044] The second panel 20 may be held against the post 2 by at least one second fastener, as described below.
[0045] The second panel 20 comprises a second upper edge 22, which extends, from the second lateral edge, along a second transverse axis Y. The second transverse axis Y intersects the longitudinal axis Z, for example being perpendicular to the latter.
[0046] According to one possibility, the second relief 5 2 forms a tongue. In this case, the second end 21 forms a contour, intended to be engaged around the tongue, preferably by sliding with friction, along the Y axis and / or the Z axis.
[0047] In the example shown in the figure 1, the post forms a corner post, because the first transverse axis X is intersecting the second transverse axis Y, for example being perpendicular to the latter. According to a variant, the first transverse axis X is parallel to the second transverse axis Y.
[0048] The post 2 allows the first panel 10 and the second panel 20 to be assembled together, so as to form part of a fence or enclosure. This may be a fence delimiting a garden, or a fence delimiting a tub, such as a planter, or a pond.
[0049] The post 2 comprises a cover 6 configured to be arranged around the top 4 and optionally fixed thereto. When the cover 6 is arranged around the top 4, the cover engages, preferably simultaneously, in or around the first upper edge 12, as well as in or around the second upper edge 22. The engagement of the cover in or around the first upper edge 12, and in or around the second upper edge 22 makes it possible to keep the panels 10 and 20 secured to the post 2. More precisely, the cover makes it possible to block the first end 11 against the first relief 5 1 and the second end 21 against the second relief 5 2 .
[0050] In this example, the cover 6 is delimited by walls which engage in upper grooves 16, 26 respectively formed in the first upper edge 12 and in the second upper edge 22. The cover 6, when it is arranged against the top 4 of the post 2, slides simultaneously, preferably with friction, through or around the upper edges 12 and 22. In the example shown in the figure 1 , the cover 6 slides through the upper edges 12 and 22 by engaging in the upper grooves 16 and 26. The friction allows the cover 6 to be held against the upper edges 12 and 22 without tools or fixing means.
[0051] The cap provides a connection between the post and the adjacent panels. This provides increased resistance to pressure exerted on the panels from inside or outside the enclosure.
[0052] Thus, the cover 6 acts as a first fastener, allowing the first panel 10 to be held against the post 2, and as a second fastener, allowing the second panel 20 to be held against the post 2.
[0053] The cover 6 gives the assembly an aesthetic appearance, improving the finish of the assembly, while having the function of mechanically holding the panels 10, 20 around the post 2. The use of the cover means that the respective sliding of the first and second ends respectively in or around the first and second reliefs can be carried out without friction. This reduces the manufacturing cost and the simplicity of assembly. The holding of the first and second panels against the post is then ensured by the cover.
[0054] The upper grooves 16 and 26 are preferably arranged so as to be flush with the peripheral surface 5 when the end of each panel is engaged in or around the reliefs.
[0055] Alternatively, the cover 6 has grooves which are intended to engage around the upper edges 12 and 22.
[0056] According to one possibility, the cover 6 is fixed to the upper edges 12 and 22, or, more generally, to the panels 10 and 20, by an auxiliary fixing means, for example, and in a non-limiting manner, a screw, or a hook, or a pin.
[0057] The cover 6 can be fixed to the top 4 of the post 2 by a screw-type fixing means.
[0058] The first panel 10 comprises a first lower edge 13, opposite the first upper edge 12, which extends, from the lateral edge 11, along the first transverse axis X. The second panel comprises a second lower edge 23, opposite the second upper edge 22, which extends, from the lateral edge 21, along the second transverse axis Y.
[0059] According to an advantageous configuration, the post comprises a base 7, which is intended to be arranged under or around the base 3 of the post 2. The base acts as a complementary or alternative means of attachment of the cover 6.
[0060] When the base 7 is arranged under or around the base 3, the base 7 engages in or around the first lower edge 13, as well as in or around the second lower edge 23. The engagement of the base in or around the first lower edge 13, and the second lower edge 23 makes it possible to improve the holding of the panels 10 and 20 against the post 2. This simultaneously forms a first attachment, making it possible to hold the first panel 10 against the post 2, and a second attachment, making it possible to hold the second panel 20 against the post 2. The base 7 thus makes it possible to block the first end 11 against the first relief 5 1 and the second end 21 against the second relief 5 2 . In this example, the base is delimited by walls, which engage in lower grooves 17, 27 respectively formed in the first lower edge 13 and in the second lower edge 23.The base 7, when disposed against the base 3 of the post 2, slides simultaneously, with or without friction, through or around the lower edges 13 and 23. The friction contributes to holding, without tools or auxiliary fixing means, the base against the lower edges 13 and 23.
[0061] The lower grooves 17 and 27 are preferably arranged so as to be flush with the peripheral surface 5 when the ends 11, 21 of each panel are engaged in or around the reliefs.
[0062] Alternatively, the base has grooves which are intended to engage around the lower edges 13 and 23.
[0063] According to one possibility, the base is fixed to the lower edges 13 and 23, or, more generally, to the panels 10 and 20, by an auxiliary fixing means, for example, and in a non-limiting manner, a screw, or a hook, or a pin.
[0064] The base 7 can be fixed to the base 3 of the post 2 by a screw-type fixing means.
[0065] The assembly may include finishing bars 8, which may engage in the unused reliefs provided in the peripheral wall 5, in particular when the latter form hollows. The finishing bars fill the hollows. The cover 6 and / or the base 7 contribute to holding the finishing bars 8 in the hollows.
[0066] On the figure 2 , we have represented a set, comprising four panels 10, 20, 30, 40 and four identical posts 2. Each post is a 90° corner post, which allows the four panels to delimit a volume forming a parallelepiped.
[0067] There figure 3 represents the configuration shown on the figure 2 after assembly.
[0068] We will now describe, in connection with the figure 4, the main stages of assembly of a part of a fence with an assembly as previously described: Step 100: inserting the first end 11 of the first panel 10 into or around the first relief 5 1 , and inserting the second end 21 of the second panel 20 into or around the second relief 5 2; Step 110: inserting the first fastener into or around the first panel 10 as well as into or around the post 2 and inserting the second fastener into or around the second panel 20 as well as into or around the post 2. This makes it possible to fix the post against the first panel and / or against the second panel.
[0069] In the embodiment described in connection with the figures 1 to 3, the first fastener and the second fastener are formed by the cover 6, which is inserted simultaneously into or around the first upper edge and into or around the second upper edge, as well as by the base 7, the latter being inserted simultaneously into or around the first lower edge and into or around the second lower edge. This is a particularly advantageous embodiment because the cover and / or the base each act as the first fastener and the second fastener.
[0070] When the assembly comprises a base, the base is arranged against or around the base prior to step 100. During step 100, the first end can be slid, by translation, along the first relief, so as to engage in or around the base. The same applies to the second end. In the example shown, the first end 11 is slid from the top towards the base, so that the base engages in the lower groove 17 made in the first lower edge 13. Similarly, the second end 21 is slid from the top towards the base, so that the base engages in the lower groove 27 made in the second lower edge 23. In this case, the base also acts as a first fastener and a second fastener.
[0071] The base and the cover as previously described may be implemented in combination, or independently of each other. According to one possibility, the first and second fasteners may be formed solely by the cover. According to another possibility, the first and second fasteners may be formed solely by the base.
[0072] The assembly of a fence with the assembly previously described is particularly simple, and can be carried out by simple translation of the panels relative to the post, either along the transverse axes X and Y, or along the longitudinal axis Z. This allows the assembly of a fence preferably without requiring specific tools.
[0073] In the examples described in connection with the figures 1 to 3, the section of the reliefs, in a plane perpendicular to the transverse axis, is square or rectangular. According to one possibility, the reliefs can have another section, for example trapezoidal, to form a dovetail type assembly. Such a possibility is illustrated on the Figure 5 In this type of assembly, one end of a panel slides along the relief by translation parallel to the longitudinal axis. Such a configuration prevents movement of the panel, relative to the post, along the first or second transverse axis.
[0074] There figure 6illustrates another variant, in which the upper edge 12 comprises an upper protuberance 16' and the lower edge 13 comprises a lower protuberance 17'. In this example, the lower and upper protuberances are provided at the intersection with the first end 11. Preferably, the lower and upper protuberances are provided at a short distance from the first end 11, for example at a distance of less than 10 cm or even 5 cm. According to this embodiment, the cover 6 engages around the upper end 12, and more precisely around the upper protuberance 16'. The base 7 engages around the lower end 13, and more precisely around the lower protuberance 17'. A similar configuration may be provided on the second panel 20.
[0075] There figure 7shows a configuration in which the first upper edge and / or the first lower edge respectively comprises an interface piece 18 forming a projection. As in the embodiment described in connection with the figure 6 , each projection is provided at the intersection with the first end 11, each projection being able to be provided at a short distance from the first end 11, for example at a distance of less than 10 cm or even 5 cm. According to this embodiment, when the cover 6 is arranged against the top 4, it engages around the upper end 12, and more precisely around the projection formed by the interface piece 18 inserted into the upper end 12. When the base 7 is arranged against the base 3, it engages around the lower end 13, and more precisely around the projection formed by the interface piece 18 inserted into the lower end 13.
[0076] It is understood that similarly, the second panel may comprise an interface part 18, arranged at the second upper end and / or the second lower end, and operating in a similar manner.
[0077] In this example, each interface piece is shaped like a Z-piece: one end of the Z is inserted into a panel and the opposite end is engaged under the hood (or under the base). The middle part of the Z extends along the panel.
[0078] In the foregoing embodiments, each panel is held against the post by a fastener, which is formed by the cover and / or the base. figures 8 And 9illustrate other embodiments, in which each fastener is an ancillary part, different from the cover or the base. In these embodiments, at least one light 19 is provided through a panel, so as to allow insertion of a fastener into the light. The fastener is intended to be arranged either through the post or around the latter.
[0079] In the embodiment shown in the figure 8 , the fastener is a flange or a pin, configured to be inserted into the slot 19 of the first panel or the second panel, and to be inserted into an opening 9 provided in the post 2. In the figure 8 : the left part of the panel has been shown without a fastener, two slots 19 made through the panel 10 and two openings 9 made in the post 9 being visible; the right part of the panel has been shown with two fasteners 19' taking the form of a pin. Each fastener 19' extends through a slot 19 and into an opening 9 made in the post.
[0080] In the embodiment shown in the figure 9 , the fastener is a strap 19', configured to be inserted into the slot 19 of the first panel or the second panel, and to extend around the post. In the figure 9 : the left part of the panel has been shown without a fastener, two slots 19 made through the panel 10 being visible; the right part of the panel has been shown with two fasteners 19' taking the form of a strap. Each fastener 19' extends through a slot 19 and around the post 2.
[0081] The invention can be used to form enclosures for various uses, for example a flowerpot, a water retention tank, an above-ground swimming pool, a planter, etc.
[0082] The invention allows modular configurations to be formed. The figure 10 represents an example of a double tub, forming a planter, which can be obtained from a set as previously described.
