Description
Decorated bottle for cosmetics, and decorative device for such a bottle Technical field
[0001] The invention relates to the technical field of packaging for the cosmetics sector, and in particular perfumery. Prior art
[0002] In the cosmetics industry, the appearance of the packaging, typically a perfume bottle, is essential.
[0003] Perfume or cosmetic bottles often have decorations, for example, textile ornaments such as bows. These decorations must be securely and reliably attached to the bottle so that the aesthetics of the decoration are not degraded when the product is used. In addition, the device must not interfere with the use of the product.
[0004] At the end of the product's life, the presence of decoration complicates sorting operations, because they are generally made of a material other than the bottle container.
[0005] Furthermore, the way we consume cosmetic products is changing, and it is becoming increasingly common for bottles to be reusable. This means that users can keep their bottles for a long time.
[0006] Cosmetic brands can no longer modify the decorative elements of their bottles once they are sold. This makes it difficult to renew the aesthetics and therefore the marketing activities of these brands.
[0007] Documents EP0921077 and CN112520174 describe bottle decoration solutions. However, these solutions have the disadvantage of not being suitable for renewing the decoration of bottles.
[0008] Document DE202020000729U1 describes a holding frame for a reusable cosmetic bottle. The device in this document is bulky. Its hinge mechanism is likely to age poorly and deteriorate.
[0009] Document WO2015081374A1 describes an accessory holder for a bottle of cleaning products. The devices described in this document are not adapted to the technical field considered, in which aesthetic considerations are essential. Statement of the invention
[0010] One of the aims of the invention is to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art, in particular by proposing a bottle whose decorative element can be replaced simply and without difficulty for the user. The proposed solution must be reliable and meet the aesthetic requirements of the technical field in question.
[0011] For this purpose, a cosmetic bottle has been developed comprising: - a container having a shoulder from which extends a neck, preferably threaded; - a pump fitted with a pump body mounted on the neck; and - a decorative device comprising a decorative element connected to a part for attachment to the bottle.
[0012] According to the invention, the attachment part at least partially surrounds the neck, and is held by clamping between the shoulder and the pump body.
[0013] In this way, the decoration device is manually removable, especially when the pump is removed from the bottle in order to refill it. It is therefore easy to replace the decoration device in order to change the aesthetics of the bottle. In addition, at the end of the product's life, it is easy to separate the device from the container so as not to mix the materials for sorting and recyclability.
[0014] In addition, the attachment part is mostly hidden by the pump body, which allows the aesthetics of the bottle to be preserved, this being essential in the technical field considered.
[0015] The attachment portion may be of any suitable type, such as a ring, or snap-fit means on the neck of the bottle. Preferably, the attachment portion is inscribed in a cylinder whose outside diameter corresponds to, or is smaller than, that of the pump body.
[0016] In one embodiment, the attachment portion comprises two arms forming an open C, and adapted to surround the neck of a bottle. In this way, the decoration device can be easily mounted on the bottle, from the front, when the pump body is already engaged on the neck of the bottle.
[0017] Advantageously, the device is snapped around the neck. Thus, the device can hold on the bottle when the assembly of the pump body on the neck is not yet complete.
[0018] In a preferred embodiment, the two arms constitute the means for snapping the device onto the neck, so as to combine the aforementioned advantages. In addition, it is easy to adapt the elasticity of the snapping means by slightly modifying the geometry of the arms.
[0019] So that the attachment portion is concealed by the pump body, the attachment portion has an external diameter less than or equal to an external diameter of the pump body.
[0020] In order to be compatible with all kinds of conceivable decorations, the decorative element is in two parts, including a decorative insert fixed on the decorative element, preferably the insert hides the decorative element. In this way, the insert can be chosen as desired, and the fact that it hides the decorative element gives the illusion that the insert is fixed directly on the bottle, which maintains the desired aesthetic.
[0021] In order for the decoration to match the shape of the container when placed on a front face of the bottle, the decorative element is inclined, towards the container, relative to a plane defined by the attachment element. The angle of inclination is chosen according to the geometry of the container, it is therefore typically between 0° and 90°, so that the decorative element is approximately tangent to the container.
[0022] In order to facilitate or secure the attachment of the added element to the decorative element, the latter comprises at least one arrangement configured to attach the added element, such as a surface texture, or a hole.
[0023] To be compatible with the container geometries classically used in perfumery, an internal diameter of the open C, defined by the arms, is between 10 mm and 16 mm, preferably between 12 mm and 14 mm.
[0024] In order to present the expected characteristics of resistance and elasticity, the arms have a width of between 0.5 mm and 4 mm, preferably 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm. Preferably the width is chosen in correlation with the external diameter of the pump body: if the external diameter of the attachment part is less than the diameter of the pump body, then the aesthetics of the bottle is preserved.
[0025] The device is advantageously made of a strip cut to shape, then folded, which facilitates its manufacture and therefore reduces its cost.
[0026] The invention also relates to a decoration device for a bottle according to the aforementioned characteristics. Brief description of the drawings

[0032] With reference to figures 1 and 2, the invention essentially resides in a bottle (10) for cosmetics, for example for perfume, receiving a decorative device (40) which is interchangeable, so that it can be replaced by another.
[0033] For example, the decorative device (40) of Figure 1 has a first type of ornament (a fabric knot), while in Figure 2, another decorative device (40) has been mounted on the bottle (10) so that it has a second type of ornament.
[0034] The objective is to be able to change the decoration device (40) easily, that is to say without tools, by hand, for example when a user comes to the store to refill a reusable bottle (10). It can also be a kit comprising several decoration devices (40) supplied with a bottle (10), so that the user can change the decoration device (40) whenever he wishes.
[0035] To do this, the decorating device (40) comprises an attachment part (42) which surrounds a neck (22) of a container (20), and this attachment part (42) is then clamped between the pump body (31) and a shoulder (21) of the container (20) when the pump (30) is assembled on the container (20).
[0036] The decorative device (40) is suspended from the neck (22). The decorative device (40) is arranged at the upper part of the container (20), for example only in its upper half.
[0037] The pump (30) is preferably assembled by screwing onto the neck (22), for example when it is a neck (22) of the “SNI 15” type according to the acronym of the standard “Screw Neck International, Diameter 15” (international threaded neck, diameter 15). The pump (30) can also be mounted by snap-fastening onto the neck (22). The necks (22) of containers (20) for cosmetics are often standardized, in order to facilitate coordination and exchanges between the glassmakers who design and manufacture the containers (20), and the plastics engineers who design and manufacture the pumps (30).
[0038] Several embodiments are envisaged for fixing the decoration device (40) on the bottle (10).
[0039] In a first embodiment, not shown, the attachment part (42) is in the form of a ring, which is threaded onto the neck (22) before mounting the pump (30).
[0040] In a second mode, the attachment part (42) comprises two arms (42a) forming an open C, of semicircular shape, which makes it possible to mount the decoration device (40) on the neck (22) from the front of the bottle (10): thus, it is possible to pre-position the pump (30) on the neck (22) and to start its assembly, then to place the decoration device (40) before the final tightening of the pump (30).
[0041] This facilitates the assembly of the bottle (10) because of the three elements that constitute it (container (20), pump (30) and decoration device (40)), there is only a need to hold two in the hand (container (20) and decoration device (40)).
[0042] Furthermore, mounting from the front of the bottle (10) makes it possible to define an internal diameter (d4) of the C defined by the arms (42a) which is substantially equal to the external diameter (d2) of the base of the neck (22), just above the shoulder (21). Preferably, there is a slight clearance between the internal diameter (d4) of the C and the external diameter (d2) of the base of the neck, so as to be able to correctly orient the decoration device (40) on the bottle: for example so that it is on the front face of the bottle, above a label.
[0043] In fact, whether the neck (22) is intended for screwing or for snapping the pump (30), the diameter (d2) of the base of the neck (22) is generally smaller than the thread or the snapping means of the pump (30).
[0044] Providing a C whose internal diameter (d4) from the dimensions of the external diameter (d2) of the base of the neck (22) makes it possible to obtain an attachment part (42) whose external diameter (D4) is restricted, which facilitates its concealment by the pump body (31) once the bottle (10) is assembled.
[0045] In a third preferred embodiment illustrated in Figure 5, the center distance (E) is of a dimension slightly smaller than the diameter (d2) of the base of the neck (22), so that the arms (42a) constitute means for snapping the decorative device (40) onto the neck (22).
[0046] The snap-fastening force is between 4 and 10N, and preferably between 6 and 8N. These values make it possible to obtain sufficient security of the decorative element (40) on the bottle (10).
[0047] With reference to Figure 3, it can be seen that in this way the installation of the decorative device (40) is further facilitated, because once clipped onto the neck (22), the decorative device (40) can no longer fall out.
[0048] This advantage is beneficial not only when placing the decoration device (40), but also when using it, because it helps to secure it on the bottle (10), which promotes compliance with the requirement of non-separability of the decoration device (40) and the bottle (10).
[0049] The decorative device (40) may be a single piece. In this case, it comprises the attachment part (42) described above, and a decorative element (41) on which the decoration as such appears, for example an engraving, a molding or even a print.
[0050] In the illustrated embodiments, the decorative device (40) further comprises a decorative insert (44), such as a fabric knot, an ornament or a charm. In this case, the decorative element (41) constitutes a plate for receiving and fixing the insert (44). Preferably, when the bottle (10) is viewed from the front, the insert (44) conceals the decorative element (41) on which it is fixed.
[0051] In order to facilitate and / or secure the mounting of the added element (44) on the decorative device (40), the latter comprises at least one mounting arrangement (45). These may be holes, through which sewing threads, rivets, magnets glued to the decorative device (40), or even elements to be crimped, can be passed. The arrangement (45) may also be a surface texturing making it possible to improve the adhesion of the bonding of the added element (44) on the decorative device (40).
[0052] Referring to Figure 4, in order for the decorative device (40) to fit the shape of the container (20), a fold is made between the attachment part (42) and the decorative element (41). The angle (a) between the plane defined by the attachment part (42) and the plane defined by the decorative element (41) is generally between 0° and 90°, but is adapted to the geometry of the container (20) on which the decorative device (40) is intended to be installed.
[0053] With reference to Figure 5, folding is facilitated by a groove (46) provided on the decorative device (40), between the attachment part (42) and the decorative element (41).
[0054] Container necks are generally small. For example, a SNI15 neck has a 15mm diameter thread.
[0055] To adapt to such necks, the attachment part (42) has an internal diameter (d4) between 10 mm and 16 mm, preferably between 12 mm and 14 mm.
[0056] Regardless of the finish of the neck (22) of the container (20), the mounting of the pump (30) on the neck (22) involves vertical tightening, in order to guarantee the compression of a seal of the pump (30) against the upper face of the neck (22).
[0057] The thickness of the decorative device (40) must therefore be chosen so that the decorative device (40) is pinched between a shoulder (21) of the bottle (10) and the pump body (31), without altering the compression of the seal, and therefore the sealing of the pump (30) on the bottle (10).
[0058] Preferably, the decorative device (40) therefore measures between 0.3 mm and 2 mm in thickness, and preferably between 0.5 and 1.5 mm.
[0059] In order to facilitate its manufacture, the decorative device (40) is manufactured from a hard sheet, that is to say a material presented in the form of a plate or sheet, so that it is cut to shape by punching, then, if necessary, folded.
[0060] The decorative device (40) can be made from any suitable material, such as metal, plastic, cardboard or even wood. The material chosen must preferably be resistant to the solvent of the cosmetic product contained in the bottle (10). For example: - in the case of perfume, it is alcohol, and the metal must, for example, be galvanized; - in the case of a cream, it is water, and the wood must be varnished or oiled; - in the case of an ointment, it is oil, and the cardboard must be laminated.
[0061] The decorative device (40) must be sufficiently strong and rigid to withstand the assembly and disassembly operations on the bottle (10), and also not to deteriorate over time because the decorative device (40) generally bears the brand of the product: the decorative device (40) must therefore not deteriorate over time. Paper or flexible plastic would therefore not be suitable.
[0062] Furthermore, the bottle (10) and the decoration device (40) may be shaped differently from the examples given without departing from the scope of the invention, which is defined by the claims.
[0063] In a variant not shown, the decorative device (40) is mounted in an internal shoulder (21) of the pump body (31). This alternative mode retains the principle of mounting the decorative device (40) on the neck (22), then of enclosing it between the pump (30) and a shoulder (21) of the bottle (10). In this mode, the decorative device (40) can be snapped inside the shoulder (21) of the pump body (31).
[0064] Furthermore, the technical characteristics of the various embodiments and variants mentioned above can be, in whole or in part, combined with each other. Thus, the bottle (10) and the decoration device (40) can be adapted in terms of cost, functionality and performance.
