Abstract

A drive unit (4) comprises a left-hand housing (7) of a transmission housing (5). The left-hand housing (7) is equipped with a speed reducer housing (25) comprising a speed reducer mechanism (33). The speed reducer housing (25) comprises an enclosure element (26) formed with the left-hand housing (7) and surrounding the speed reducer mechanism (33), and a cover element (27) attached to the enclosure element (26). The enclosure element (26) comprises a side wall (29) extending upwards from an upper wall (7B) of the left-hand housing (7) and disposed between an electric motor (32) and the speed reducer mechanism (33). The side wall (29) is equipped with a disc-shaped motor mount (29C) with an outer diameter identical to that of the electric motor (32) and attached to the electric motor (32).The motor support (29C) has bosses (29m) and bolts (23C) for fixing the electric motor (32) to the motor support (29C).[Fig. 5].
