Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Hybrid solar tile
[0001] The invention presented here is a hybrid photovoltaic solar tile system (1) producing electricity using solar energy and coupled to an exchanger circuit (5) diffusing heat to a domestic hot water tank (6) or to a heating circuit for a home for example.
[0002] The patent relates to the hybridization part of the tile. This is a process for recovering thermal energy from heating the tile and the photovoltaic cell (2) when they are irradiated by the sun.
[0003] The first advantage of the hybrid solar tile system by conduction is simplicity during implementation. Fewer hydraulic connections, therefore less risk of leakage of the heat transfer fluid.
[0004] The second advantage of the hybrid solar tile system is to cool the photovoltaic solar cell by conduction and therefore improve its photovoltaic efficiency (during strong sunlight).
[0005] Third important advantage in summer, avoid overheating of the heat transfer hydraulic circuit and therefore the risk of leakage due to an increase in the pressure of the heat transfer fluid. Indeed, for high temperatures of the photovoltaic cell and the tile, heat losses with the environment occur thanks to the so-called "thermal junction" part, thus avoiding any risk of stagnation of the primary circuit.
[0006] [Fig. 1] is a perspective view of a house and its roof made up of hybrid solar tiles according to the invention.
[0007] [Fig.2] is a top view representation of the hybrid solar tile according to the invention.
[0008] [Fig.3] is a representation seen from below of the hybrid solar tile according to the invention.
[0009] [Fig.4] is a cross-sectional representation of the hybrid solar tile according to the invention.
[0010] [Fig.5] is a cross-sectional representation of a roof composed of hybrid solar tiles according to the invention.
[0011] The hybrid solar tile (1) is provided with one or more photovoltaic cells (2) through which electric current flows when the cells are exposed to the sun's rays, and with a plate called a "thermal junction" attached below the photovoltaic cells, characterized in that it provides thermal conduction between the solar tile and the heat-transfer hydraulic pipe (3). The tile is protected by an unbreakable transparent protection.
[0012] The recovery of heat energy is done by a heat transfer fluid circulating in a hydraulic pipe (3), winding along the roof and running along the tiles. The heat-transfer hydraulic pipe is clipped to the tiles using a part which acts as a thermal conductor.
[0013] The heat transfer from the tiles and the irradiated solar cells is done by conduction thanks to the part (metallic or not) called the “thermal junction” which makes the mechanical and thermal junction between the irradiated tile and the hydraulic pipe (called the primary circuit).
[0014] The maintenance between the so-called “thermal junction” part and the hydraulic circuit is done by clipping using half-rings ([Fig.3]) and ([Fig.4]).
[0015] To improve the efficiency of the heat exchange, a thermal paste can be used between the so-called “thermal junction” part and the hydraulic pipe.
[0016] In order to avoid heat loss, insulation is necessary (polyurethane foam type) of the so-called “thermal junction” part and the hydraulic pipe.
[0017] The tiles are electrically connected to each other with MC4 type connectors or equivalent (4).
