Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Packaging and distribution assembly for a cosmetic product and associated kit
[0001] The present invention relates to a packaging and dispensing assembly for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product comprising:
[0002] - a reservoir intended to receive said cosmetic product and extending longitudinally along a main axis of the reservoir, the reservoir comprising: - * a neck defining an opening centered on the main axis of the tank, and - * a base located opposite the neck, said base comprising a protuberance centered on the main axis of the tank and projecting towards the inside of the tank towards the neck; - - a sampling tool comprising a rod, a sampling member arranged at a first end of the rod and a gripping member arranged at a second opposite end of said rod; the sampling tool being movable through the opening in an insertion direction between a sampling position in which the sampling member is located inside the reservoir so as to be at least partially in contact with the cosmetic product, and a dispensing position in which the sampling member is extracted from the reservoir and can be brought close to a part of the human body in order to apply thereto a quantity of the sampled cosmetic product.
[0003] A cosmetic product is in particular a product as defined in Regulation 20 EC No. 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 30 November 2009, relating to cosmetic products. For example, the cosmetic product is a coloring, makeup or care composition, such as lip gloss or care serum.
[0004] The cosmetic product is contained in a container or bottle equipped with a sampling member capable of extracting a quantity of cosmetic product.
[0005] The cosmetic product extracted from the container or bottle is then intended to be applied to a body surface so as to obtain the desired effect.
[0006] The sampling organs are generally chosen according to the nature of the cosmetic product and can also serve as an application organ. For example, it is known to use a pipette for care products such as cosmetic oils and serums for example, a brush in particular for nail polishes, a flocked applicator for lip products such as gloss and lip varnish.
[0007] It is known to immerse the sampling member inside the container in order to bring it at least partially into contact with the cosmetic product and thus extract a desired quantity.
[0008] However, a quantity of cosmetic product unreachable by the sampling member may be lost at the bottom of the container.
[0009] It is known, for example from CN 209931779 U, to arrange the bottom of the container in the shape of a funnel in order to concentrate the cosmetic product at its lowest point.
[0010] However, such a solution has the disadvantage of limiting the aesthetic choices concerning the shape of the container and of leaving a large volume of container unused.
[0011] For practical or aesthetic reasons, the containers or bottles may have very varied shapes, in particular at the level of a bottom wall. For example, said bottom wall may have a protuberance, in particular in its center, which is incompatible with the solution proposed by CN 209931779 U.
[0012] It is for example known to equip the bottom of a reservoir with a valve or a cover capable of authorizing the distribution of a cosmetic product from a cartridge to said reservoir. An example of such a reservoir is described for example in WO 2018 / 206898 A1. The cartridge contains for example an active ingredient designated by the English term “booster”.
[0013] The relief in the bottom of the reservoir increases the loss of cosmetic product at the bottom of the container.
[0014] It is known, in particular from FR3095930, to constrain the sampling member with a wiper at the opening so that it is offset from the axis of the reservoir and can thus reach the bottom of the reservoir around the protuberance. However, the cosmetic product is not concentrated in a single point and is distributed all around the protuberance, a quantity can thus be lost by the consumer if the latter does not stir the product.
[0015] An object of the invention is to reduce the quantity of cosmetic product lost at the bottom of a container having a central protuberance, with minimal user intervention.
[0016] To this end, the invention relates to an assembly of the aforementioned type, characterized in that the protuberance is capable of deflecting the sampling member from the main axis of the reservoir when said sampling member comes into contact with said protuberance, the bottom of the reservoir defining a sloping ramp extending around the protuberance, said ramp defining a lowest point of the reservoir, said ramp being capable of guiding the sampling member to the lowest point so that in the sampling position, the sampling member is at the lowest point while being offset relative to the main axis of the reservoir.
[0017] The sloping ramp extending around the protrusion defines a lowest point of the reservoir where the cosmetic product is likely to accumulate. The protrusion and the ramp guides the sampling tool to this lowest point in order to collect the cosmetic product at this lowest point. Positioning the sampling device at this point allows the collection of every last drop of cosmetic product accumulated at this lowest point. In addition, guiding the sampling device along the sloping ramp mixes the cosmetic product, thus improving its quality.
[0018] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the sampling tool comprises a screw ring capable of being screwed onto an external thread provided on the neck of the tank and in which in the sampling position, the screw ring is screwed onto the neck of the tank, thus closing the opening. The helix angle of the external thread provided on the neck of the tank is equal to the helix angle of the ramp at the bottom of the tank.
[0019] The screw ring closes the reservoir together with the sampling tool and thus protects the cosmetic product from the free air. The screwing of the screw ring causes the rotation of the rod and the sampling member. A similar helix angle of screwing of the ring and descent of the ramp guides the sampling member onto the ramp without obstacle.
[0020] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the bottom of the reservoir defines a stop blocking the sampling member at the lowest point.
[0021] The stop defined in the bottom of the reservoir blocks the sampling member at the lowest point and thus ensures that the sampling member remains at this lowest point when sampling the cosmetic product.
[0022] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the cross-section of the ramp is concave.
[0023] The concavity of the cross-section of the ramp offers the advantage of defining a gutter, which further facilitates the recovery of the last drops.
[0024] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the protrusion defines a chimney suitable for allowing the dispensing of a cosmetic product into the reservoir. The invention comprises a base defined under the bottom of the reservoir suitable for receiving a cosmetic product dispensing cartridge intended to open through the dispensing chimney.
[0025] The chimney supplied by a dispensing cartridge makes it possible to dispense cosmetic product into the reservoir, either to refill it with the same cosmetic product, or to dispense a second cosmetic product of different composition intended to be mixed with the first cosmetic product.
[0026] The assembly according to the invention may comprise the following characteristics taken in isolation or in any technically possible combination:
[0027] - The protrusion is profiled so as to deflect the sampling member from the main axis of the reservoir when said sampling member comes into contact with said protuberance. - A deflection flap mounted on the protrusion capable of deflecting the sampling member from the main axis of the tank when said sampling member comes into contact with said deflection flap. - The opening of the tank is equipped with a wiper allowing the sampling device to be offset from the main axis of the tank.
[0028] Profiling the protrusion, installing a deflection flap or even a wiper alone or in combination facilitates the deflection of the sampling member from the main axis and its positioning on the sloping ramp.
[0029] In a particular embodiment of the invention, the sampling tool is a pipette, the stem being hollow so as to form a tube.
[0030] A pipette is particularly suitable for sampling care products such as cosmetic oils and serums for example.
[0031] The invention also relates to a cosmetic product packaging and dispensing kit comprising a packaging and dispensing assembly of the aforementioned type in which the protuberance defines a chimney intended to allow the dispensing of a cosmetic product into the reservoir and in which a base is defined under the bottom of the reservoir, the kit comprising at least one cosmetic product dispensing cartridge intended to be received through the dispensing chimney.
[0032] The kit according to the invention may comprise the following characteristic:
[0033] - A cover closing the chimney, the dispensing cartridge comprising a tip suitable for piercing the cover when the dispensing cartridge is received in the base.
[0034] The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given solely by way of example, and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
[0035] - [fig.l] [fig.l] is an exploded perspective view of a condi operation and distribution of a cosmetic product according to the invention; and
[0036] - [fig.2] [fig.2] is a sectional view of the kit of [fig.l] in the pre-position rising.
[0037] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate a kit 10 for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product comprising an assembly 12 for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product and, in this example, a dispensing cartridge 14.
[0038] The cosmetic product intended to be packaged and distributed by the kit 10 is in liquid or pasty form.
[0039] For example, the cosmetic product is a composition for coloring, making up or caring for a body surface.
[0040] The cosmetic product is for example a lip gloss, a nail polish or a care serum.
[0041] As illustrated in [fig.l], the packaging and dispensing assembly 12 comprises a reservoir 16 intended to receive said cosmetic product and a tool 18 for removing said cosmetic product.
[0042] The reservoir 16 is for example a flask or a bottle. The reservoir is for example made of glass or plastic manufactured by plastic injection or blowing.
[0043] The reservoir 16 extends longitudinally along a main axis A. Under normal conditions of use, the main axis A corresponds to an up-down axis.
[0044] The reservoir 16 comprises a side wall 20, a neck 22 and a bottom 24 located opposite the neck 22. In this example, the bottom 24 is defined on a base 54 attached to the reservoir 16.
[0045] The side wall 20 is a hollow tube of main axis A, as illustrated in [fig. 1].
[0046] The volume defined inside the side wall 20, delimited at the top by the neck 22 and at the bottom by the bottom 24 is suitable for receiving the cosmetic product.
[0047] The internal volume of the reservoir 16 has, for example, a capacity of between 20 mL and 75 mL.
[0048] As illustrated in [fig.2], the neck 22 defines an opening 26, advantageously centered on the main axis A.
[0049] The opening 26 is for example circular in shape with a diameter between 3 mm and 10 mm.
[0050] The neck 22 is advantageously cylindrical with a circular section centered on the main axis A.
[0051] An external thread 30 is advantageously provided on the neck 22 as illustrated in [fig.l],
[0052] The bottom 24 comprises a protrusion 32 and a sloping ramp 34 extending around said protrusion 32.
[0053] As illustrated in [fig.l], the bottom 24 has for example a contour of substantially circular shape with a diameter of between 15 mm and 60 mm.
[0054] The protrusion 32 is centered on the main axis A of the reservoir 16. It projects towards the inside of the reservoir 16 in the direction of the neck 22.
[0055] The protuberance 32 is for example of cylindrical shape extending around the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0056] The protuberance 32 has, for example, a diameter of between 5 mm and 10 mm and a height of between 0.5 cm and 3 cm.
[0057] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the protuberance 32 defines a chimney intended to allow the distribution of a cosmetic product in the reservoir 16, more particularly coming from the distribution cartridge 14.
[0058] The ramp 34 is defined in the annular space between the protrusion 32 and the side wall 20 of the reservoir 16.
[0059] The ramp 34 is inclined relative to the horizontal plane defined as the plane perpendicular to the main axis A.
[0060] As illustrated in [fig.l], the ramp 34 is advantageously a helical ramp winding around the protuberance 32.
[0061] The sloping ramp 34 defines a lowest point 36 corresponding to the point of the bottom 24 of the tank 16 furthest from the opening 26.
[0062] This point is also the lowest point of the interior volume suitable for receiving the cosmetic product.
[0063] In the case where only a few drops of cosmetic product remain in the reservoir 16, said last drops of cosmetic product are lodged at the lowest point 36, in particular under the action of gravity.
[0064] Advantageously, as illustrated in [fig.2], the cross-section of the ramp 34, taken in an axial plane passing through the axis A, is concave. A gutter is thus provided in the center of the ramp suitable for accumulating the cosmetic product in its center.
[0065] The bottom 24 of the reservoir 16 preferably defines a stop 38.
[0066] As can be seen in [fig.l], the stop 38 is for example defined by the step formed by the difference in height between the start of ramp 34 and the end of ramp 34 where the lowest point 36 is located.
[0067] The difference in height between the start of the ramp 34 and the end of the ramp 34 is for example between 2 mm and 10 mm.
[0068] The sampling tool 18 comprises a rod 40, a sampling and application member 42 arranged at a first free end 44 of the rod 40 and a gripping member 46 arranged at a second end 48 of the rod 40.
[0069] The sampling tool 18 is mounted to move through the opening 26 in an insertion direction between a sampling position and a dispensing position.
[0070] The insertion direction extends for example along the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0071] In the sampling position, as illustrated in [fig.2], the sampling member 42 is located inside the reservoir 16 so as to be at least partially in contact with the cosmetic product.
[0072] In the sampling position, the sampling member 42 is capable of sampling a quantity of cosmetic product
[0073] In the sampling position, the rod 40 is located inside the reservoir 16 and the gripping member 46 is located outside the reservoir 16 so that it can be handled by a consumer.
[0074] In the dispensing position, the sampling member 42 is extracted from the reservoir 16 and is suitable for being brought near or into contact with a body surface, with a view to applying a quantity of cosmetic product taken there.
[0075] The sampling tool 18 is chosen according to the nature of the cosmetic product present in the reservoir 16.
[0076] The sampling tool 18 is for example a pipette if the cosmetic product is a serum, a brush or a brush if the cosmetic product is a nail or lip varnish and a gloss applicator if the cosmetic product is a gloss.
[0077] The rod 40 extends in a rectilinear manner along a rod axis T.
[0078] The rod 40 defines, along the rod axis T, a lower end 44 and an end high 48 opposite the low end 44.
[0079] The rod 40 is advantageously non-deformable under normal conditions of use.
[0080] In the case where the sampling tool 18 is a pipette, the rod 40 is hollow and forms a tube, as shown in [fig.2].
[0081] The hollow rod 40 is capable of containing a quantity of cosmetic product intended to be applied in the dispensing position.
[0082] The capacity of the hollow rod 40 is for example between 0.5 mL and 3 mL.
[0083] The hollow rod 40 is for example made of glass.
[0084] In the case where the sampling tool 18 is a brush or a brush, the rod 40 is for example a thermoplastic rod.
[0085] The gripping member 46 is mounted on the second end 48 of the rod 40.
[0086] The gripping member 46 is advantageously flexible, so as to allow the inclination of the rod 40 relative to the gripping member 46 at the first end 44 of the rod 40.
[0087] As shown in [fig.l], without external constraints, the axis T of the rod 40 is substantially coincident with the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0088] As shown in [fig.2], the gripping member 46 is deformable to allow the rod 40 to be inclined, so that under stress, the axis T of the rod 40 forms a non-zero angle with the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0089] The gripping member 46 is advantageously chosen to be elastic, so that if the rod 40 is unstressed, the rod 40 returns elastically to the non-inclined position with an axis T of the rod 40 substantially merging with the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0090] The gripping member 46 is for example a flexible teat, a bulb or an elastomer pear capable of defining a chamber with variable volume compressible by the user.
[0091] The sampling member 42 located at a first end 44 of the rod 40 is capable of sampling a quantity of cosmetic product, in the sampling position.
[0092] If the sampling tool 18 is a pipette as illustrated in [fig.2], the organ of sampling 42 is defined by a sampling orifice 50 provided at the first end 44 of the rod 40.
[0093] In the sampling position, by compression of the gripping member 46, a quantity of cosmetic product can be sucked into the hollow rod 40 through the sampling orifice 50. Similarly, in the dispensing position, a quantity of cosmetic product can be pushed outside the hollow rod 40 through the sampling orifice 50.
[0094] The protuberance 32 is capable of deflecting the sampling member 42 from the main axis A of the reservoir 16 when said sampling member 42 comes into contact with said protuberance 32.
[0095] The sampling member 42 has, for example, a transverse dimension greater than the transverse dimension of the protuberance 32, so that the contact of the sampling member 42 with said protuberance 32 deflects the sampling member 42 and causes the rod 40 to tilt.
[0096] Optionally, the protrusion 32 is profiled so as to deflect the sampling member 42 from the main axis A of the reservoir 16 when said sampling member 42 comes into contact with said protrusion 32.
[0097] The protuberance 32 is for example beveled, as illustrated in [fig.l].
[0098] When the sampling member 42 is inserted into the reservoir 16, the sampling member 42 is offset relative to the main axis A of the reservoir 16 and thus comes into contact with the ramp 34.
[0099] The sampling member 42 is capable of being guided by the ramp 34 to the lowest point 36.
[0100] For example, by rotation of the sampling tool 18 around the main axis A combined with insertion in the insertion direction, the sampling member 42 is guided along the ramp 34 until it is blocked by the stop 38 at the lowest point 36.
[0101] In the sampling position, the sampling member 42 is located at the lowest point 36, being offset relative to the main axis A.
[0102] As illustrated in [fig.2], in the sampling position, the axis T of the rod 40 is inclined relative to the main axis A of the reservoir 16, for example by an angle of between 3° and 45°, preferably between 10° and 30°.
[0103] Advantageously, the sampling tool 18 comprises a screw ring 52.
[0104] The screw ring 52 is mounted on the rod 40 at its second end 48, so that a rotation of the screw ring 52 causes a rotation of the rod 40.
[0105] The screw ring 52 is capable of being screwed onto the external thread 30 of the neck 22. It is for example made of plastic.
[0106] As shown in [fig.2], in the sampling position, the screw ring 52 is screwed onto the neck 22 of the reservoir 16, thus closing the opening 26.
[0107] Screwing the screw ring 52 onto the neck 22 causes the rod 40 to rotate and therefore guides the sampling member 42 along the ramp 34.
[0108] In order to facilitate the descent of the sampling member 42 along the ramp 34 when screwing the screwing ring 52, the helix angle defining the slope of the ramp 34 is advantageously chosen to be substantially equal to the helix angle defining the slope of the external thread 30 present on the neck 22 of the reservoir 16.
[0109] The base 54 forming the bottom 24 of the reservoir 16 is suitable for receiving a dispensing cartridge 14 of cosmetic product.
[0110] As illustrated in [fig.2], the base 54 comprises a hollow cylindrical skirt 56 delimited upwards by an upper partition 58 and having a lower opening 60 opening downwards.
[0111] The base 54 is inserted from below into the reservoir 16, so that the upper partition 58 forms the bottom 24 of the reservoir 16.
[0112] The base 54 is capable of receiving a dispensing cartridge 14 inserted through the opening 60. The dispensing cartridge 14, once inserted into the base 54, opens through the dispensing chimney defined by the protuberance 32 in the bottom 24 of the reservoir.
[0113] As illustrated in [fig.l], the dispensing cartridge 14 comprises a cylindrical chamber 62 and a tubular tip 64.
[0114] The tubular end piece 64 of the distribution cartridge 14 is suitable for being inserted into the distribution chimney formed by the protuberance 32 in the bottom 24 of the reservoir.
[0115] When the dispensing cartridge 14 is received in the base 54, the cylindrical chamber 62 of the cartridge 14 is received in the hollow cylindrical skirt 56 of the base 54 and the tubular end piece 64 of the dispensing cartridge 14 is received in the dispensing chimney.
[0116] The dispensing cartridge 14 contains a cosmetic product. The cosmetic product contained in the dispensing cartridge 14 is capable of being dispensed into the reservoir 16 through the dispensing chimney.
[0117] Advantageously, the dispensing cartridge 14 comprises a piston capable of pushing the cosmetic product through the dispensing chimney.
[0118] The dispensing cartridge 14 allows the reservoir 16 to be refilled.
[0119] Alternatively, the dispensing cartridge 14 comprises a second product cosmetic different from that present in the reservoir 16. Such a dispensing cartridge 14 allows the dispensing of a second cosmetic product, in particular an active ingredient intended to be mixed with the cosmetic product already present in the reservoir 16.
[0120] Advantageously, the kit 10 comprises a cover 66 closing the distribution chimney defined by the protuberance 32.
[0121] When the dispensing cartridge 14 is received in the base 54, the tubular end piece 64 of the cartridge 14 is suitable for piercing the seal 66. It is for example beveled in order to facilitate piercing the seal 66.
[0122] The use of a kit 10 according to the invention will now be described.
[0123] A kit 10 comprising a dispensing cartridge 14 and an assembly 12 consisting of a reservoir 16, a base 54 and a sampling tool 18 as described previously is first provided.
[0124] The sampling tool 18 is in the dispensing position. The sampling member 42 and the rod 40 are located outside the reservoir 16.
[0125] The sampling tool 18 is then inserted into the reservoir 16 in the insertion direction, and more particularly along the main axis A of the reservoir 16 until the screw ring 52 is positioned on the neck 22 of the reservoir 16.
[0126] The sampling member 42 comes into contact with the protuberance 32 and is deflected from the main axis A, for example due to the beveling of the protuberance 32.
[0127] The flexibility of the gripping member 46 allows the rod 40 to be inclined and therefore the sampling member 42 to be deflected.
[0128] The sampling member 42 thus offset from the main axis A is located on the ramp 34.
[0129] The screw ring 54 is then screwed onto the external thread 30 of the neck 22.
[0130] The screwing of the screw ring 52 causes the rotation of the rod 40 and therefore the guiding the sampling member 42 along the ramp 34.
[0131] The sampling member 42 is thus guided along the ramp 34 until it is blocked by the stop 38.
[0132] The sampling member 42 thus follows a substantially helical trajectory, also causing a rotation of the rod 40.
[0133] The movement of the rod 40 and the sampling member 42 allows mixing of the cosmetic product present in the reservoir 16, before sampling.
[0134] The movement of the sampling member 42 also causes the movement of the cosmetic product towards the lowest point 36.
[0135] As illustrated in [fig.2], in the sampling position, the sampling member 42 is positioned at the lowest point 36.
[0136] In the case where only a few drops of cosmetic product remain in the reservoir 16, the last drops of cosmetic product are located at this lowest point 36 under the effect of gravity and the movement of the sampling member 42.
[0137] The sampling member 42 then samples a quantity of cosmetic product at this lowest point 36 and more particularly the last drops of cosmetic product.
[0138] If the sampling tool 18 is a pipette, the gripping member 46 is compressed and a quantity of cosmetic product is drawn into the hollow rod 40 through the sampling orifice 50 defining the sampling member 42.
[0139] The screw ring 52 is then unscrewed and the sampling tool 18 is removed from the reservoir 16.
[0140] The quantity of cosmetic product taken is then applied to a body surface, for example directly to the user's skin.
[0141] In the dispensing position, if the sampling tool 18 is a pipette, the gripping member 46 is compressed and a quantity of cosmetic product is pushed outside the hollow rod 40 in order to be deposited on a part of the human body.
[0142] In order to refill the reservoir 16 with cosmetic product or to insert a second cosmetic product, the dispensing cartridge 14 is inserted through the opening 60 in the base 54.
[0143] The tubular end piece 64 of the distribution cartridge 14 is thus received in the distribution chimney defined in the protuberance 32.
[0144] The tubular tip 64 pierces the cover 66, for example thanks to its beveled shape.
[0145] Using a piston for example, the cosmetic product present in the cartridge 14 is distributed into the reservoir 16.
[0146] Such an assembly 12 for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product offers the advantage of being able to recover the last drops of cosmetic product at the bottom of the reservoir 16.
[0147] Mixing the cosmetic product before sampling by moving the rod 40 and the sampling member 42 increases the quality of the cosmetic product. This mixing is particularly interesting in the case, for example, of a two-phase serum which needs to be mixed before sampling.
[0148] In addition, such an assembly 12 for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product is easy to use.
[0149] Indeed, the consumer just has to insert the sampling tool 18 and screw the screw ring 52, which are conventional actions of use. The deflection of the sampling member 42 and the guiding of the latter along the ramp 34 are done without additional intervention by the consumer.
[0150] Alternatively, as illustrated in [fig.2], a deflection flap 68 is mounted on the protuberance 32 adapted to the sampling member 42 of the main axis A of the reservoir 16 during contact of said sampling member 42 with said deflection flap 68.
[0151] The deflection flap 68 has, for example, a profiled shape extending towards the inside of the reservoir 16, in particular an elongated sheet shape.
[0152] In a variant, illustrated in Figures 1 and 2, the opening 26 of the reservoir 16 is equipped with a wiper 70 allowing the sampling member 42 to be offset from the main axis A of the reservoir 16.
[0153] The wringer 70 is more particularly arranged in the neck 22 of the reservoir 16.
[0154] The wiper 70 comprises a substantially tubular body fixed inside the neck 22 and with an internal diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the rod 40.
[0155] The wiper 70 is capable of being passed through by the sampling member 42 and the rod 40.
[0156] The body of the wiper 70 is advantageously deformable to allow the inclination of the rod 40, when the sampling member 42 is deflected from the main axis A, as can be seen in [fig.2].
[0157] According to an embodiment not shown, the assembly 12 does not include a base 54 defining the bottom 24. The bottom 24 is for example defined by a lower partition of the reservoir 16, advantageously made of the same material as the side wall 20.
