Description

Title of the invention: Cross-vision zones Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of sport. It finds advantageous application in the field of team sports such as ball sports and particularly football. It can be used in particular during training where it will be used to provide statistical data for establishing an a posteriori analysis. It may also be suitable for other sports such as hockey or for other applications unrelated to sport. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] There are many devices for producing statistical data in sports. In the world of football, there is a constant need for analysis based on statistical data. Indeed, financial stakes and new technologies are pushing professional clubs and audiovisual broadcasters to exploit this data.

[0003] Among these devices are software systems that analyze the movements of players or the ball directly on a video recording. There are also portable on-board devices such as glasses that allow the player's environment to be captured.

[0004] Other solutions are encountered, such as patent application EP2977087A1, which discloses a device for athletes having a module worn on the head and enabling the capture of head orientation data using a gyroscope in order to provide them, using virtual reality technology, with additional information on the elements present in their field of vision.

[0005] However, these solutions have numerous drawbacks, such as the fact that the head orientation data remains approximate or that the device causes visual discomfort or even makes it impossible to head a ball.

[0006] An object of the present invention is therefore to propose a solution which makes it possible to eliminate or limit at least one of the aforementioned drawbacks.

[0007] Other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and accompanying drawings. It is understood that other advantages may be incorporated. SUMMARY

[0008] To achieve this objective, according to one embodiment, a method is provided for defining an instantaneous vision zone of a first person, from a first module and a second module respectively capable of being worn by the first person, the first module including: - a first support, - a first gyroscopic sensor, - a first communication unit, the second module including: - a second support, - a second gyroscopic sensor, - a second communication unit, the first gyroscopic sensor being mounted on the first support and the first support being capable of being mounted securely on the head of the first person, the first module being configured to provide a processing unit with a first angular position of the head relative to an external reference frame, the second gyroscopic sensor being mounted on the second support and the second support being able to be mounted securely on another part of the body of the first person, other than the head, and the second module being configured to provide the processing unit with a second angular position of the other part of the body relative to the external reference frame, the method comprising the following steps: - measurement by the first module of the first angular position, - transmission of the first angular position to the processing unit, - measurement by the second module of the second angular position, - transmission of the second angular position to the processing unit, - definition of the first instantaneous vision zone of the first person by the processing unit from a correlation between the first angular position and the second angular position.

[0009] Without the present invention, it would be necessary to replace the gyroscopic sensor at the head with an even more efficient sensor, which would naturally generate significant additional costs for the device. In addition, even if the sensor were sufficiently efficient, it would not be able to reproduce the results of the device described above. Indeed, the addition of a second module on another part of the body comprising a second gyroscopic sensor makes it possible to significantly enrich the information extracted from the measurements of the first gyroscopic sensor.

[0010] Thus, the present invention makes it possible to optimize the known results of the prior art while limiting the costs of the device.

[0011] As a result, the present invention allows for better real-time definition of an instantaneous vision zone of a moving person.

[0012] According to one embodiment, the invention comprises a device for defining an instantaneous vision zone of a first person, from a first module and of a second module respectively capable of being carried by the first person, the first module comprising: - a first support, - a first gyroscopic sensor, - a first communication unit, the second module comprising: - a second support, - a second gyroscopic sensor, - a second communication unit, the first gyroscopic sensor being mounted on the first support and the first support being capable of being mounted securely on the head of the first person, the first module being configured to provide a processing unit with a first angular position of the head relative to an external reference frame, the second gyroscopic sensor being mounted on the second support and the second support being able to be mounted securely on another part of the body of the first person, other than the head, and the second module being configured to provide the processing unit with a second angular position of the other part of the body relative to the external reference frame, device in which the processing unit is capable of defining an instantaneous vision zone of the first person from a correlation between the first angular position and the second angular position.

[0014] The device therefore preferably allows an analysis of the instantaneous vision zones of a person following a movement and a change of orientation in space. It will preferably allow the evaluation of the capacity of exploration of the environment of a physical person during a sporting activity in order to allow a posteriori, an analysis of the behavior of the person during a period according to the events which will have occurred during said period. Preferably, the device will make it possible to detect whether in the vision zone of a person at a given moment, there was or not the presence of an element, whether it is a physical person or an object possibly in motion.

[0015] Another aspect relates to a method of detecting a crossing between a first instantaneous vision zone of a first person and a second instantaneous vision zone of a second person, the instantaneous vision zones being defined by the definition method for each of the first and second persons, the detection method comprising the following steps: - generation by the processing unit of first information relating to the level of presence of the first person in the second instantaneous vision zone, - generation by the processing unit of a second piece of information relating to the level of presence of the second person in the first instantaneous vision zone - calculation of correspondence level information by the processing unit according to the first information and the second information.

[0016] The present invention therefore preferably makes it possible to analyze and determine the precise moment corresponding to the fact that two people find themselves in each other's field of vision.

[0028] Before beginning a detailed review of embodiments of the invention, optional features which may possibly be used in combination or alternatively are set out below:

[0029] According to one example, the method of defining an instantaneous vision zone comprises the following additional steps: supply by the first module 11 to the processing unit 124, of a first angular velocity relative to the external reference frame O, X, Y, Z, supply by the second module 12 to the processing unit 124, of a second angular velocity relative to the external reference frame O, X, Y, Z, adjustment of the first instantaneous vision zone 100 of the first person 10 by the processing unit 124 from a correlation between the first angular velocity and the second angular velocity.

[0030] According to one example, the method of defining an instantaneous vision zone comprises the following additional steps: supply by the first module 11 to the processing unit 124, of a first angular acceleration relative to the external reference frame O, X, Y, Z, supply by second module 12 to the processing unit 124, of a second angular acceleration relative to the external reference frame O, X, Y, Z, adjustment of the first instantaneous vision zone 100 of the first person 10 by the processing unit 124 from a correlation between the first angular acceleration and the second angular acceleration.

[0031] According to one example, the other part of the body is the trunk, preferably the back of the first person.

[0032] This makes it possible in particular to detect head movements with greater precision and consequently the different changes in fields of vision.

[0033] Indeed, by positioning the second module 12 securely on the trunk or back, by relative comparison of the data measured by the first gyroscopic sensor and the second gyroscopic sensor 122, it is possible to extract data corresponding to the movements of the head and neck.

[0034] According to one example, the step of visualizing the saved data 131 is carried out using a virtual reality visualization interface 132.

[0035] According to one example, the method for detecting a crossing zone comprises a step of generating location information 144 regarding the distance in space between the first person 10 and the second person 20.

[0036] According to one example, the correspondence level information 143 is greater than a minimum threshold if and only if: - the first information 141 corresponds to the presence of the first person 10 in the second instantaneous vision zone 200, - the second information 142 corresponds to the presence of the second person 20 in the first instantaneous vision zone 100, - the location information 144 corresponds to a distance in space between the first person 10 and the second person 20 less than a reference distance 154,

[0037] According to one example, the first module 11 is configured so that in a configuration where it is worn by the first person 10, it is positioned at the back of his head and / or the second module 12 is positioned on his back.

[0038] According to one example, the second module 12 comprises a location system 125, preferably an Ultra Wide Band system.

[0039] According to one example, the first communication unit 113 and the second communication unit 123 are capable of exchanging data via a wireless connection.

[0040] According to one example, the first support 111 is one of a headband, a headband, a cap, and / or the second support 121 is one of a chest protector, a bib, and a jersey.

[0041] It is specified that in the context of the present invention, the term “field of vision” may also be considered equivalent to the term “visual field”, or even to the term “vision zone”. These terms will be understood as everything that a person’s eyes are capable of perceiving around them at a given moment.

[0042] The term "gyroscopic sensor" means an instrument capable of at least providing an angular position on one, two or three axes relative to an external reference frame. Preferably, the sensor can also provide an angular velocity and / or an angular acceleration on one, two or three axes relative to the external reference frame. The sensor may comprise several sub-assemblies each dedicated to one or more of the data to be measured, depending on the measurement axes and / or the type of value to be measured among the angular position, the angular velocity and the angular acceleration.

[0043] In the following description, unless otherwise indicated, when referring to absolute position qualifiers, such as the terms "front", "back", "top", "bottom", "left", "right", etc., or relative position qualifiers, such as the terms "above", "below", "upper", "lower", etc., or orientation qualifiers, such as the terms "horizontal", "vertical", "lateral", etc. refer to the orientation of the corresponding figures, it being understood that, in practice, the devices may take a different orientation.

[0044] The terms “substantially”, “approximately”, “of the order of” mean “to within 10%, preferably to within 5%” or, when it is an angular orientation, “to within 10°”. Thus, a direction substantially normal to a plane means a direction having an angle of 90+10° relative to the plane.

[0045] In the present patent application, the term "integral" used to qualify the connection between two parts means that the two parts are linked / fixed relative to each other, according to all degrees of freedom, unless explicitly specified differently. For example, if it is indicated that two parts are integral in translation in a direction X, this means that the parts can be movable relative to each other except in the direction X. In other words, if one part is moved in the direction X, the other part performs the same movement.

[0046] The angular positions, the angular velocities and the angular accelerations will be considered in a reference frame external to the first person 10 and to the second person 20, preferably fixed relative to the ground, preferably a terrestrial reference frame, preferably a Galilean reference frame.

[0047] In the present invention, a technical solution is presented for modeling the field of vision of a person.

[0048] VISUAL REFERENCES AND CAPABILITIES

[0049] To do this, it should be considered that the orientation of the head provides advantageous information regarding the orientation of the person's field of vision. As soon as the person turns their head, their field of vision inevitably changes. In [Fig. 1A], what is close to the field of vision of the person 10 is shown schematically and in a vertical plane. This representation is similar to a cone whose apex is located near the eyes. The cone then extends in a frontal direction of the person 10.

[0050] Generally, the ability of a person to discern an object as distant as possible corresponds to his visual acuity. In the context of the present invention, visual acuity could be modeled according to the Y direction and the extent of the field of vision according to the X and Z directions. All of these parameters together constitute what is called the first instantaneous vision zone 100.

[0051] For ease of use, it may be possible to consider each person using this device as having eyesight equivalent to someone in good health and having no vision defects, or having vision corrected using ophthalmic lenses or glasses with corrective lenses.

[0052] It will be appropriate to consider a mobile reference frame linked to each person 10, 20 whose longitudinal direction “front / back” corresponds to the Y axis, the transverse direction “left / right” corresponds to the X axis and the vertical direction “up / down” corresponds to the Z axis.

[0053] Therefore, it will be appropriate to consider a first mobile reference point linked to the head of the first person 10 and a second mobile reference point linked to another part of the body of the first person 10 and whose longitudinal front / rear directions correspond respectively to the axes Yi and Y2, the transverse left / right directions correspond to the axes Xi and X2 and finally, the vertical up / down directions correspond to the axes Zi and Z2.

[0054] Throughout the description, the person may be an athlete, for example a professional athlete practicing a team sport, preferably football. The device may in particular be used during training sessions.

[0055] INSTANT VISION ZONES

[0056] Visualization plans

[0057] As illustrated in Figures 1A and 1B, the vision zone is three-dimensional and can in particular be modeled according to two planes: - a first plane, that of [Fig.lA], called vertical plane (O, X, Z) in which the head of the first person 10 is seen in profile. - a second plane, that of [Fig.lB], called the horizontal plane (O, X, Y) in which the head of the first person 10 is seen from above.

[0058] In the vertical plane, the first instantaneous vision zone 100 extends like a cone whose apex is positioned at eye level and whose apex angle is advantageously between 60 degrees and 130 degrees.

[0059] In the horizontal plane, the first instantaneous vision zone 100 extends in a conical shape, the apex of which is positioned at eye level and the angle of which at the apex is advantageously between 60 degrees and 200 degrees.

[0060] Preferably, in the vertical plane and in the horizontal plane, the first instantaneous vision zone 100 extends in a conical shape whose apex is equal to 60 degrees. Indeed, numerous studies show that the information of the visual field included in a reduced portion, according to a cone having an angle at the apex of 60 degrees, is taken into account more by the brain and participates particularly in decision-making.

[0061] Thus, in order to determine whether a present element has been detected by the first person 10, it is appropriate to ensure that this element is included within the first conical instantaneous vision zone 100 and whose vertex is equal to 60 degrees.

[0062] Instant vision zone

[0063] The first instantaneous vision zone 100 thus advantageously corresponds to the visual field of the person 10 at a given instant. The first instantaneous vision zone 100 comprises the entire visible environment around a point fixed by the first person 10. The fixed point being substantially on the yl axis, a measurement of the angular position of the head thus makes it possible to approximate the first instantaneous vision zone 100 using a cone whose height is along the y axis, whose apex has an angle of 60° and is located at the level of the eyes of the first person 10.

[0064] According to one embodiment, the first instantaneous vision zone 100 may also include certain enlargements due to rapid movements of the pupils.

[0065] According to a particular embodiment, a first person 10 and a second person 20 will be able to use the device simultaneously so as to be able to determine whether the first person 10 is indeed in the second instantaneous vision zone 200 of the second person 20 and whether the second person 20 is indeed in the first instantaneous vision zone 100 of the first person 10.

[0066] STRUCTURAL CONFIGURATION OF THE DEVICE

[0067] As illustrated in [Fig.2A], and according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first person 10 is shown equipped with the device comprising the first module 11 and the second module 12. The first module 11 is configured so as to be able to provide a measurement as to the orientation of the head of the first person 10 relative to an external reference frame. The second module 12 is configured so as to be able to provide a measurement as to the orientation of another part of the body of the first person 10 relative to the external reference frame O, x, y, z.

[0068] As illustrated in [Fig.2B], and according to the same example, the first module 11 comprises a first support 111 on which a first gyroscopic sensor 112 and a first communication unit 113 are fixedly positioned. The second module 12 comprises a second support 121 on which at least a second gyroscopic sensor 122, a second communication unit 123, and a processing unit 124 are fixedly positioned.

[0069] Advantageously, the first communication unit 113 and the second communication unit 123 are connected by a connection element 16. Preferably, this will be a flexible connection cable.

[0070] According to a particular embodiment, the first gyroscopic sensor 112 is an electronic card comprising the first communication unit 113 as well as a connection plug so that the connection element 16 can be directly connected to the first gyroscopic sensor 112.

[0071] First module

[0072] According to a preferred embodiment, the first module 11 comprises a first support 111, a first gyroscopic sensor 112 and a first communication unit 113.

[0073] First support

[0074] Advantageously, the first support 111 is positioned on the head of the first person 10, preferably it is a headband comprising a band made of a textile which may be elastic and having a width of approximately one centimeter. The first support 111 advantageously has an inner surface configured to come into contact with the head of the first person 10, the inner surface being made of a non-slip material in order to prevent the first module 11 from moving relative to the head.

[0075] The first support 111 may in particular be chosen from the following elements: a headband, a headband, a hat, a headset, earphones, or any other type of element configured so as to be worn on the head.

[0076] First box

[0077] The first gyroscopic sensor 112 can be positioned in a housing fixedly attached to the first support 111. The assembly comprising the first support 111 and the housing being configured so that when the first module 11 is worn by the first person 10, the first support 111 surrounds the head with the gyroscopic sensor 112 positioned at the back of the head in order to clear the front and sides of the face so as to completely free the field of vision.

[0078] Advantage relative to glasses

[0079] As a result, unlike augmented display glasses, no element disrupts the field of vision of the first person 10. The device is more comfortable because it is lighter and causes less discomfort, particularly during the use phase. Indeed, when an element such as a pair of glasses is positioned between the eyes and the external environment, cognitive biases are likely to decrease and also to alter the decisions of the first person 10.

[0080] Second module

[0081] According to the main embodiment of the present invention, the device also comprises a second module 12 comprising a second support 121, a second gyroscopic sensor 122, a second communication unit 123, and a processing unit 124.

[0082] Second support

[0083] Advantageously, the second support 121 is positioned on another part of the body of the first person 10, preferably it will be the trunk or the back of the first person 10. Preferably the second support 121 will be one of: a bib, t-shirt, armband, chest protector, jersey, jacket or any other textile element configured to be worn by a part of the body other than the head of the first person 10.

[0084] Second box

[0085] According to a particular embodiment, the second gyroscopic sensor 122 is positioned in a second housing configured so as to be able to be secured to the back of the first person 10. The second housing is preferably positioned at the top of the back, just below the neck.

[0086] The second module 12 advantageously comprises the second housing in which we find: - a processing unit 124 comprising a microcontroller and a storage device which may be a micro SD card, - a second communication unit 123, which may be, for example, a Bluetooth® module or a radio module.

[0087] Advantageously, the second housing is larger and comprises more elements than the first housing so as to move all of the electronic elements from the first housing into the second housing which were likely to clutter the head of the first person 10.

[0088] Preferably, the second housing comprises a battery, advantageously rechargeable, making it possible to power the various electronic elements of the device of the present invention.

[0089] Connection between the two modules

[0090] According to a particular embodiment, the first module 11 and the second module 12 communicate with each other via the first communication unit 113 and the second communication unit 123.

[0091] The first communication unit 113 and the second communication unit 123 are configured to connect to each other. This connection can be made using a connection element 16, advantageously a flexible cable. Thus, according to one embodiment, the first housing and the second housing are connected to each other by a wire connection positioned from the back of the head to the top of the back of the first person 10. A flexible cable has the advantage, unlike a rigid cable, of not hindering rotations of the head relative to the rest of the body.

[0092] Advantageously, the first housing and / or the second housing consist of a preferably flexible pouch secured to the second support 121 which may be a jacket, a bib made of a material such as, for example, lycra or neoprene.

[0093] METHOD FOR DEFINING AN INSTANT VISION ZONE

[0094] The first gyroscopic sensor 112 is configured to measure a first angular position corresponding to the orientation of the head of the first person 10 compared to the external reference.

[0095] The second gyroscopic sensor 122 is configured to measure a second angular position corresponding to the orientation of the torso of the first person 10 relative to the external reference frame.

[0096] The first angular position and the second angular position are then transmitted respectively from the first module 11 and the second module 12 to the processing unit 124 configured so as to be able to correlate these two pieces of information in order to allow the definition of the first instantaneous vision zone 100 of the first person 10.

[0097] According to a preferred embodiment, the first angular position advantageously makes it possible to define the absolute orientation of the head of the first person 10 in the external reference frame while the second angular information makes it possible to refine said absolute orientation of the head relative to the orientation of the other part of the body.

[0098] This has the advantage of allowing, when defining a first instantaneous vision zone 100, a distinction between a first configuration in which the head and the other part of the body of the first person 10 are oriented in the same direction, and a second configuration in which the head and the other part of the body of the first person 10 are not oriented in the same direction.

[0099] Thus, it is possible to distinguish what relates to information gathering linked to a simple movement of the head which may be a back and forth and what relates to a change of direction of the whole body. Thus the orientation of the head and the orientation of the other part of the body are recorded by the processing unit 124 and compared to reference values.

[0100] LOCATION

[0101] As illustrated in [Fig.3A], and according to a particular embodiment, the first person 10 wears on the back the second module 12 comprising the processing unit 124 which advantageously comprises a location module configured so as to be able to transmit elementary location information 151 of the first person 10 to at least one location terminal 15, preferably to several location terminals 15 distributed around it. Indeed, unlike a GPS system, a system of the UWB type, from the English acronym Ultra Wide Band for “ultra wide band or ultra wide band”, allows by triangulation a much more accurate and precise location of the first person 10 in space than a GPS system from the English acronym Global Positioning System for “global positioning system”.

[0102] DATA ANALYSIS

[0103] As illustrated in [Fig.3B], and according to a particular embodiment of the present invention, the second module 12 is configured to provide a unit central 13, a first information 141 as well as possibly a location information 144.

[0104] The first information 141 advantageously comprises all of the characteristics making it possible to arrive at the definition of the first instantaneous vision zone 100, namely a three-dimensional zone positioned in space and resulting from the correlation between the first angular measurement provided by the first module 11 and the second angular measurement provided by the second module 12.

[0105] The central unit 13 is configured to convert this first information 141 into saved data 131. The saved data 131 can then be read from a software system 133 and then displayed on a visualization interface 132 via a software interface 135 in the form of correspondence level information 143. Advantageously, the correspondence level information 143 can take the form of a note, a score, an alert, an audible signal or any type of display allowing a qualitative assessment.

[0106] DETECTION OF A CROSSING OF TWO INSTANT VISION ZONES

[0107] As illustrated in Figures 4A and 4B, and according to a particular embodiment, a first person 10 and a second person 20 respectively wear the device of the present invention. In this embodiment, it is possible to simultaneously define a first instantaneous vision zone 100 and a second instantaneous vision zone 200.

[0108] In [Fig.4A], the second person 20 is present in the first instantaneous vision zone 100, however, the first person 10 is not present in the second instantaneous vision zone 200. The device worn by the first person 10 is configured to provide first information 141 to the central unit 13, while the device worn by the second person 20 is configured to provide second information 142 to the central unit 13.

[0109] According to a particular embodiment, the central unit 13 is configured so as to be able to interpret in the form of saved data 131 the correlation between the first information 141 and the second information 142. The saved data 131 will advantageously be converted into correspondence level information 143.

[0110] Preferably, the correspondence level information 143 will make it possible to validate the correct simultaneous presence of the first person 10 in the second instantaneous vision zone 200 and of the second person 20 in the first instantaneous vision zone 100.

[0111] According to an embodiment compatible with this latter mode, the correspondence level information 143 may be adjusted by the location information 144 which may include the distance between the first person 10 and the second person. 20.

[0112] Preferably, the location information 144 comprises all of the following distances, namely: the distance between the first person 10 and the second person 20 and / or the distance between one of the first person 10 and the second person 20 and a moving obstacle, and / or the distance between one of the first person 10 and the second person 20 and a fixed element of the environment.

[0113] Preferably, the location information 144 is determined using a UWB location system.

[0114] According to a particular embodiment, the correspondence level information 143 may take the form of a score and this score will be higher depending on: - the presence or absence of the first person 10 in the second instantaneous vision zone 200, - the presence or absence of the second person 20 in the first instantaneous vision zone 100, - the result of the location information 144, - the presence or absence of a mobile element whose trajectory provides for interference between the first person 10 and the second person 20.

[0115] According to a particular embodiment, it will be possible to define a reference distance 154 as the distance considered maximum and beyond which the score of the correspondence level 143 would be degraded.

[0116] As illustrated in [Fig.4B], according to one example, the first person 10 is present in the second instantaneous vision zone 200 of the second person 20 and simultaneously the second person 20 is present in the first instantaneous vision zone 100. In this example, the correspondence level information 143 may generate a high score at least higher than that of the situation illustrated in [Fig.4A].

[0117] According to one embodiment, in the case where an obstacle is present between the first person 10 and the second person 20, the first instantaneous vision zone 100 would then be modified, preferably reduced.

[0118] MATERIAL

[0119] Preferably, the first gyroscopic sensor 112 and the second gyroscopic sensor 122 are identical.

[0120] According to one embodiment, these will be gyroscopic sensors 112, 122 respectively comprising an inertial measurement unit composed of a low-gravity, low-power three-axis accelerometer.

[0121] Advantageously, its dimension does not exceed 13 mm x 18 mm.

[0122] The first gyroscopic sensor 112 and the second gyroscopic sensor 122 are able to measure the different rotations, namely more precisely the angular positions, the angular speeds as well as the angular accelerations according to the respective bases (Xb Yb Zi) and (X2, Y2, Z2).

[0123] Thus, these measurements make it possible to obtain information regarding the orientation of the head of the first person 10 and thus to define their instantaneous vision zone 100. In addition, the relative measurement between the first gyroscopic sensor 112 and the second gyroscopic sensor 122 makes it possible to precisely define the different gestures that the first person 10 can perform with their head.

[0124] The first gyroscopic sensor 112 and the second gyroscopic sensor 122 are advantageously connected to the processing unit 124 via cables comprising heads with four connectors.

[0125] According to a particular embodiment, the flexible cable for connecting the first module 11 with the second module 12 has a length equal to approximately 40 cm. The flexible cable is protected by an insulated, extensible and waterproof braided sheath with a thickness equal to approximately 0.8 cm.

[0126] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first module 11 does not comprise battery elements since it is powered by the flexible cable.

[0127] According to a particular embodiment, the processing unit 124 and the second housing are two combined elements.

[0128] The processing unit 124 can thus comprise a microcontroller, a location module which can be equipped with UWB technology (from the English acronym ultra wide band meaning ultra wide frequency band) or GPS (from the English acronym Global Positioning System).

[0129] According to one embodiment, the second communication unit 123 may be a Bluetooth® transmitter / receiver.

[0130] Preferably, the second communication unit 123 is configured so as to be able to transfer the data stored in the processing unit 124 to a central unit 13 which may be a computer or a smartphone.

[0131] According to one embodiment, the second communication unit 123 is configured so as to be able to transmit the angular position data and / or the angular velocity data and / or the angular acceleration data measured by the first gyroscopic sensor 112 and the second gyroscopic sensor 122 in real time.

[0132] Preferably, the second module 12 comprises a gyroscope advantageously arranged in the second housing, in a vertical direction corresponding to the direction z2 as well as an energy storage system which may be a 3 volt LiPo battery (or lithium-ion polymer battery).

[0133] According to a particular embodiment of the present invention, the second module 12 comprises the second support 121 on which is fixed the second housing comprising the second gyroscopic sensor 122, the second communication unit 123, the processing unit 124 as well as a location module and a battery.

[0134] Advantageously, the second gyroscopic sensor 122 and the location module are located on the side of an external face of the housing corresponding to the face facing outwards when the device is worn by the first person 10. This allows better transmission / reception of the different electromagnetic signals.

[0135] Preferably, the second housing comprises an on-off switch configured to be able to start or stop the recording of data.

[0136] According to a particular embodiment, the second support 121 is a jacket or a bib preferably made of Lycra® comprising a pocket configured so as to be able to insert the second box therein. Thus in a worn configuration, the second module 12 allows the first person 10 to have the second box at shoulder blade height.

[0137] According to a particular embodiment, the second module 12 comprises a location system with UWB technology. Thus, according to this same embodiment, the location of the first person 10 can be carried out using a tag positioned in the second module 12. Indeed, anchors or location terminals 15 are distributed fixedly in space and by multilateration, the UWB location system determines the position of the tag in this space and thus locates the first person 10 in space.

[0138] The processing unit 124 advantageously comprises a storage device which may be, for example, a micro SD card and the processing unit 124 comprises a recording box at a frequency of 250 Hertz.
